“y/n, dude, you’re missing the net… like, a lot.” remer said, watching the ball fly far from the hoop.

“i’m trying!” you groaned.

remer grabbed the ball and dribbled it over to you. he gave it a light toss, falling snug into your hands.

“just try again, you’ll get it.” remer gave a little thumbs up and a half smile before putting his hands on his knees and squatting, ready to catch the ball in case of a miss. “y/n l/n shoots… he shoots… he shoots… dude, throw the ball…”

you panicked and just chucked it. luckily enough, it fell in after circling the rim for what felt like an hour. you watched as remer seemed more excited than you were, jumping up and down and putting a fist to the air. then he jogged back over to you, pointing at the hoop.

“did you fuckin’ see that?!” he exclaimed, throwing up a high-five.

you nodded, “yeah i did!”

“the fuck are you guys yelling for?” coop opened the front door to see you both on the driveway bouncing up and down and squealing like girls.

“y/n made the shot!! he finally made one!” remer practically screamed.

“oh, that’s sweet dude,” coop said, “so you guys finally a thing?”

coop motioned to the fact you both were hopping up and down like little girls while holding each other’s hands, noticeably close together.

“dude—!” remer gave him a look. a look that screamed ‘you spoiled it’.

“uhhh… uhhh…” coop looked around for any help, “there’s pizza rolls inside so um... well… forget i said anything…!”

after he ran inside, you looked back at remer. “you like me?”

“well, yeah, how could i not?” a nervous grin crooked up on his face.

you beamed, “i like you too…”

“you do?!” he somewhat shrieked.

before you could respond, remer twirled you around and then planted a tiny, quick peck onto your cheek. “sweet.”
