Make That Change ✨✨ When I started working on the idea for B.Brave by SK WiLBUR @bbravebackpacks in 2020, it was because I remembered what it felt like to be a 17 year old freshman at Baruch College taking my first Black Studies course. My mind was blown by all the change makers, activists, and cultural icons who I had NOT learned about until that point. Why had I not been taught about James Baldwin or Sojourner Truth in class growing up? With legislation in many states currently suppressing Black studies courses and banning books, my backpacks offer a way to build community and inspire kids.
