So! Raibaru was the winner for redesign! As you can tell, it was nothing extreme as I'm fine with her original design.
There are key differences like having muted hair and eye colors to better distinguish between her and Osana (who is called Ousa in the galatea au) and giving more volume to her pigtails to contrast her out of school self. I also changed her from a second year to a third year so she and Ousa met only a year ago.
Meet Raimu Fumetsu, a third year in AkaDemi and former president of the Martial Arts Club. A strong young woman whose accolades are unmatched in the club's near 40 year history. She's the top fighter in her district and is a name that brings about fear and respect. Due to her reputation, it was tough making friends.
She had her classmates, sure, and her clubmates were all very lovely to her. But that made her feel like she was further away from her peers. She didn't want to be placed on a pedestal; she wanted to be seen as someone's equal. So when Bushiaki Masuta (Budo Masuda/Masuyama) defeated her, breaking her record, she felt free. In control of her place in people's eyes. And with that burst of freedom, she sought to befriend the first person she crossed paths with - Ousa Nakajima (Osana Najimi). They became close almost immediately and it was Ousa who suggested they wear matching twin tails.
Although she found freedom at school, that didn't mean she had the same at home. Her parents were disappointed that she lost to her own student and pushed her to train more, dedicating more time to the dojo. Because of this, she refused to let Ousa know about her home life, thankful that Ousa never pried further. No one at school actually knows about the strict upbringing, something she fights to keep under wraps, but ever since Ayano transferred, those wraps have loosened...

i wonder if i’ve shiny hunted enough yet to consider myself a shiny hunter… i never was into shiny hunting my entire life but SV changed that and now i have over 3 boxes of self obtained shinies from SV, some cool masuda method ones in there too, and i’ve also since gotten into shiny hunting retroactively in other older games. i’m still really not into full odds, that’s the one thing i haven’t managed to get myself to do (ayano has of course), but idk maybe one day?
i feel like it’d be fake to call myself a shiny hunter when ayano exists, but 😭 i probably count???

~The Basu sisters first day~
Pink = Inkyu Basu
Purple = Sakyu Basu
Green = Midori Gurin
Red = Ayano Aishi
Blue = Saki Miyu
Orange = Osana Najimi
Purple 🥀 = Kizana Sunobu
Pink 🩷 = Senpai
White 🕸️ = Oka Ruto
White 🥋 = Budo Masuda
Inkyu and Sakyu Basu are vampires disguised as high school students. They arrived at Akademi high school and they take a look around at the sight of sakura trees.
(Still under development)
“Hey sister? Do you think we will make friends here?”
“We might… but remember why we are here..”
“Yeahhh…we should look around first! And make new friends”!!!
“Okay fine… I guess we can sister~”
They walk around the school and run into Midori.
“Hiii!!!! Who are you”?!!!
Midori ignores them at first and she glared at them.
“What? I’m playing my game”!
“I am so sorry~ we’ll leave you alone~”
“No it’s okay! I’m sorry, you guys must be new here”!
“Yes!!!! We are new”!!!
“That’s great! I’m Midori! What’s your names?
“I’m Sakyu and this is my sister Inkyu~”
“That’s cool! I should show you guys around”!
They walk into the cooking club.
“Welllll this is the cooking club! To be completely honest, I think the whole club sucks, gaming club is better! That’s probably just me.. I love gaming more than anything!”
“Well hello there! Are you guys looking forward to joining us?
“Well no, I’m just showing them around”
“Fair enough, make sure you warn them about… you know..”
“Ohhhhh yeahhh!!! I will when it comes to it.”
“Warn us about what..?
“Don’t worry, she shouldn’t be a threat to you guys”!
“I don’t like the sound of it already…”
“No, it’s okay! Let’s just continue the tour”!
As they walked towards the next club, they see a women with black hair in a ponytail talking with Kizana, they peak inside and start to eavesdrop.
🥀” oh wow… you think you’re so clever! One of the members watched you commit murder in front of of their very eyes! It’s unbelievable that you think you have the NERVE to walk in here! Get out of here”! 🥀
“Oh my…”
“Sister… something is very off about her…”
“Yeah! Clearly that women is scolding her about a murder accusation”!
The women with black hair walks out, she looks at them and starts to walk away.
“Hiii”!
“Inkyu….”
The women turns around with a plain expression.
“Yes..”?
“What was that about”?
There was silence for a few seconds…
“Well, I got kicked out of the club due to a misunderstanding .”
“Oh… we didn’t eavesdrop or anything! But did you kill someone”?
“Okay sister, we have to go..”
“No it’s okay, I can talk about it… somebody saw me with the dummy from the martial arts club and I was fixing it. They must have assumed it was a person since I was holding a pipe wrench and had it against its torso..”
“Oh… that makes sense… what’s your name”?
“I am Ayano.. but people call me Yan-Chan.”
“Nice to meet you, im Inkyu and this is my sister Sakyu”!
“Nice to meet you guys…”
She walks off without expression.
“Oh my… is that the threat we should worry about..”?
“Yeah but it’s okay, everybody is aware of her and knows to stay away..”
“But she said she was fixing a dummy.”
“A dummy doesn’t bleed.. she isn’t supposed to be touching that stuff anyways since she isn’t in the martial arts club..”
“Oh.. okay then”!
They walk past the drama club and go in the occult club.
“This is the occult club, I will warn you guys, the leader is a bit um… weird.”
“How weird”?
Oka walks towards them with a sad expression.
🕸️ “H-h-hey…a-a-are you g-guys wanting to j-join..” 🕸️
“Oh no, I’m just showing them around the school”!
🕸️ “O-oh… o-o-ok…” 🕸️
Oka walks back but keeps looking at the Basu sisters, as if she senses some evil in them.
“We should go now.. let’s check out the martial arts club!
They walk upstairs and approach the martial arts club.
“This is the martial arts club, there is a story about Raibaru Fumestu, the former martial arts master…she quit though..”
“Why did she quit”?
“Because of Budo…”
“Who’s Budo”?
Budo approaches them.
🥋 “ welcome to the martial arts club, what brings you here”? 🥋
“Oh we are just looking around, showing them the school.”
🥋 “Oh okay then, I’m Budo! Nice to meet you guys, I should go back to my club”! 🥋
“Wait before you go, is the dummy fixed”?
🥋 “Nah, it’s still broken…I wish I got it fixed… why”? 🥋
“Nothing, we’ll see you later Budo.”
Budo waves and gets back with his club.
“Hmmm…so it appears Yan-Chan lied to us…”
“She’s a murderer..”?
“I don’t know sister…we should be careful..”
“Let’s go guys… let’s check out the light music club…”
They walk to the next club and they don’t see Myuji Shan, the light music club leader.
“It appears that Myuji isn’t here today…that’s very unusual, she’s always here…”
“Maybe something happened to her! Maybe she got murdered…”
“Inkyu…we can’t assume..”
“But sister! I’m scared….”
“Don’t be afraid, I won’t let anything happen to you..”
“I should leave you guys alone, i have to email Yanderedev about any updates”!
She giggles and runs off while typing on her phone.
“Well she is a bit weird…”
“Let’s walk around more! Let’s go to the courtyard”!!
“Okay sister…”
They walk outside and see a ginger haired girl yelling at someone.
“Ugh.. I told you to wake up on time”!
🩷 “I’m sorry… I’ll try better next time…” 🩷
“You always say that”!
🩷 “Fine, I guess we should stop walking to school together..” 🩷
“Okay okay I’m sorry…”
They approach the arguing students.
“Hey guys”!
“What do YOU want…”?
“We are new here and wanting to make friends”!
“Oh well… sorry, I can’t help you with that..

yuovirth+LIM 2021 vol.6

So... I am doing adjustments? Redesigns? Rewriting? yansim characters and gonna try to make a pinned post about my hc stuff soon.
Currently!
Ayano Aishi - same
Taro Yamada - Harutaro Yamada (referred to as 'taro')
Raibaru Fumetsu - Raimu Fumetsu (I had this name planned before 1980s mode rip)
Budo Masuta/Masuyama - Bushiaki Masuda
Osana Najimi - Ousa "Hosanna" Nakashima (half japanese/half european. Her relatives in England insisted on making sure she has a 'western name' so that she won't feel out of place whenever she stays with them. Taro and Hanako call her 'Saachan' while Raimu went from calling her 'Ousa-san' to 'Osanna' as she kept stumbling with the English pronunciation.)
Misc-
Jokichi Aishi - Fuyutsuki Aishi (again, had this picked out BEFORE 1980s mode was released. There's a parallel with the name scheme so I'm keeping it as is)
These are all canon names in my fic so just a heads up if you see these tags. I'm not adding names that are subject to change in the near future

i feel like now that the first episode of the terastal arc has aired and i also got the majority of the 60min website done, my brain is FINALLY letting me think about stuff other than horizons for longer than 10 minutes again LOL i'm trying to remember what i was working on VG wise before the horizons autism fucking Claimed me
i have stuff going on in SV as usual (i really need to beat the meganium raids i have downloaded Oops and i still need to shiny hunt hatenna thru masuda method for liko's shiny team) but that's not really priority. in no particular order stuff that's More Priority off the top of my head is:
finish my crystal playthrough so i can shiny hunt celebi
replay xd gale of darkness and farm mt battle for the rare berries
ribbon master Riku the flygon (need to beat gale of darkness first for those berries)
a lot of other old gen ribbon master stuff
replay pokemon sun
replay pokemon ultra moon
replay alpha sapphire
ayano finished her HG starter hunt and continuing to play through the game is on hold until our friend finishes his hunt, i completed the xy friend safari in its entirety before it shut down, i finished my shiny hunt for liko's sprigatito... other than crystal and my usual live service type stuff in SV, i don't have any active unfinished projects (of course i have some dormant ones but i won't get to those for months from now)
umm the question is what the fuck do i feel like doing right now LOL fuck. idk i'm eating pretzels rn i'll think about it
