Imagine if Axel ended up going back to the US with Myagi-do and the LaRusso’s ended up hosting him for a while. Sam feels bad and invites him to come hang out all of the myagi-do students. The whole dojo is just hanging out which includes Reader.
What if Axel ends up developing a crush on Reader and ends up following her around the whole time. Sam thinks its so cute and Miguel is just happy that they aren't beefing anymore.

You stood next to Robby, hands behind your back slightly bored rocking on your heels as the photographer snapped photos of the team captains.
“You there in the back,” the camera man speaks up. “Show some emotion.”
You turn your head to your left nosely trying to see whom the photographer was referring to when the tallest man stood over you, dressed in sweats, soft brown hair swept up, and a chiseled face for a teenage boy.
He was rather handsome, almost intimidating by the forced closed mouth smile he was asked to put on.
The tall boy caught your curious eyes, and glanced down at you.
You shoot him a small smile before turning your head back to front not catching the blush the crept on the boy’s cheeks after your small gesture.
“Perfect,” the camera man breathes out when he sees stone cold boy finally crack a smile.
“We’re done here,” the man excused the athletes. You let out a sigh of relief, tucking the strands of your hair back behind your ears and stepping away from the swarm of people.
“Miss,” you hear a deep accent approach from behind you, a large hand lightly tugging at your arm.
You turn swiftly coming face to face with the tall pale boy you met gazes with a few seconds ago. You glance down at his hold on your arm, causing him to step back releasing his grip.
“S-Sorry,” he apologizes. “You dropped this.”
He held out a small crescent moon stud that resembled the earrings you put on daily. You gasp when you realize your right earlobe was in fact missing its normal accessory.
“Oh my god!” You exasperate reaching out for the earring. “Thank you!”
“You’re welcome,” he says curtly before walking past you not giving you time to respond. You frown hoping you might be able to introduce yourself but his long strides sent him halfway down a hall.
You see Sam and Robby walk away from the team, leaving you to wonder the aquarium yourself.
Stopping in front of tank of small colorful fishes you smile to yourself admiring the beauty of the fish swimming amongst each other.
You had dreamt of being given this opportunity to show off your skills and fight for a title that could expand your talent and interests and you were finally here. You had made it.
Noticing your bare ear in your reflection of the glass, you fish out your stud from your pocket of your jeans and attempt to place the earring back in.
Unfortunately it was a flat back earring, and while you were able to place the back of earring in, the front was harder to pin point.
You huffed in frustration squinting at your reflection when you noticed another figure in the corner of your eye.
The chiseled boy from earlier stood calmly diagonal from you, tearing his eyes away from your frustrated state, looking at the large tank in front of him.
“Hey,” you take a step towards him slowly. "I'm (Y/n)."
"Axel," he nods barely sparing you a glance.
"Think you could help me put this back in?" You ask holding up the stud, hoping to start a conversation with the quiet boy.
"I- I'm not supposed to speak to opponent," he attempts to excuse himself. You wouldn't let him get away that easy.
"Competition hasn't started. We're not rivals just yet," you tease him playfully.
Your words make him feel at ease, the corners of his lips turning up. Axel takes a few steps towards you until he's toe-toe with you.
“Can’t get the front back in,” you shrug sheepishly holding up the moon. He nods taking the golden jewel out of your small hand and into his large one.
You move your hair to one side revealing the ear that once held the earring. Gently, he tilts your head to the side allowing him to see properly since you were much shorter than him.
You felt butterflies swarm your stomach at his close proximity, his face came so close to yours making sure to place the stud in securely.
"All done," he says removing his hands from the side of your face.
"Thank you," you smile up at him finally taking in his appearance. The blue water surrounding you both reflected in his dark emerald green eyes, pulling you into a trance.
His eyes flickered to the tank next to you, a pink blush cascading across his porcelian skin.
"Pretty isn't it?" You ask turning to the glass filled with sea creatures in front of you.
"Very pretty," Axel agrees twisting to face the aquatic scenery as well. Afraid he might flee again, you take your phone out.
"Do you mind taking me a picture?" You ask.
"Sure," he grins taking ahold of your phone. You stood leaning against the glass lightly, arms crossed behind your back, slightly tilting your head with a smile.
Axel pressed the screen a few times before bringing the device down.
"Do they look okay?" You ask walking up to him to look at the photos.
"Beautiful," he says catching your attention but quickly corrects himself. "T-They're beautiful."
You blush at his statement, about to respond when Sam calls out for you at the end of the tunnel.
"We're heading out," she says waiting patiently for you. You nod at her before turning back to Axel.
"I'll see you later on the mat?" You almost ask as a promise to see each other later.
"I will see you later," he responds sincerely with a genuine smile. You turn to make your way towards your best friend when Axel spoke your name sending your heart fluttering.
"You forgot this," he says handing you your phone making you smack your head.
"Thanks, once again," you laugh embarrassed. He nods shrugging as in no problem before you finally make it to Sam feeling like a giggly school girl.
"What just happened? And who was that?" Sam filled with excitement ambushes you as you both turn the corner.
You sighed dreamily, already thinking back to the small interaction hoping it wasn't the last.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your team was getting their ass kicked. There was some downtime before the next event leaving you and the team to rest and regather yourselves.
Between Robby being distracted by Tory, Hawk and Demetri arguing, and now Mr. Larusso disappearing before the next round had you nervous about this possibly being the last day for your team.
"Voicemail?" You ask as you and Sam make your way to the competition.
"Yeah, I just hope he's okay," she says putting her phone away. You two suddenly hear grunting and the sound of someone sparring.
You and Sam stop in front of the open studio seeing a familiar face standing in a fighting stance with his sensei whom he was practicing with.
"Stop," the older man holds his gloved hand up. "What are you doing wrong?"
Axel looks down at his stance and shrugs confused when his sensei suddenly brings his gloved hand down smacking the boy.
You cock your head back eyes flitting over to Sam who looked just as surprised as you.
"Again," Axel is demanded. When he tries again, he unfortunately fails.
This time his sensei drops his pad angrily, and smacks Axel on his back five times making you hold your breath as you reach out to Sam, scared.
Axel who was slumped over waiting for the beating to be over, glances up making brief eye contact with you.
Before you can interject, Sam hurriedly pulls you by the wrist to get you two out of there.
"Should we go back and make sure he's okay?" You ask worriedly as you both sped walked to your team.
"Something tells me he's used to it," Sam spoke uneasily. "We're running late, maybe we can talk to him later."
You nod in agreement, Johnny was going to be pissed it took you all so long to get here.
You would find Axel later.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After winning your last two events and not being eliminated, the team decided to celebrate and relax by going out to a bar nearby.
You hung out with Sam and Robby for about half an hour until you got bored of the scenery and decided to take a walk by yourself to get some air.
Unclasping your sandals, you remove them before stepping into the cool sand and walking along the water.
The smell of the salt air placed a feeling of ease in you, the sound of the waves crashing music to your ears. A shiver runs down your spine as the breeze gets a little stronger making you regret not bringing a jacket.
As you walked further down the shore, you noticed a tall man moving with grace in the sand just a few feet from you.
It was Axel. And he was shirtless. You gulped attempting to keep your cool.
"Hey!" You call out to him. He jumped mid move startled by your presence, but relaxed once he realized it was you.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, I was just getting some air," you explain.
"It's fine," he reassures you, wanting to go back to his routine.
"It's pretty late to be training isn't it?" You ask walking closer to him.
"Always time for training," he responds before bending down away from you to pick up his shirt and jacket off the sand.
You gasped as he stood up, noticing the pink and purple bruises down his back.
"Axel, your back," you want to reach out but hold yourself back incase you're overstepping. "What happened?"
The tall boy throws his muscle shirt over his head, not meeting your eyes.
"Uh, from bo staff competition," he lies stuttering his words. You narrowed your eyes at him not buying his story.
"Nobody's been able to land a point on you yet," you point out. You had been watching him the entire competition, he was unstoppable and a damn good fighter.
He looks at you at a loss for words, avoiding your sympathetic gaze.
"I saw what happened with your sensei earlier," you spoke quietly. Axel looked defeated, and tired it made you want to just hug and hold him.
"My sensei wants me to be the best," he attempts to justify. "It is because of him, I never lose."
You nod moving closer to him.
"There are other ways of teaching," you shrug. "I mean, I gotta admit your dojo's pretty great."
"Thank you," he finally cracks a smile making me feel warm inside. "You're pretty."
You blush at his statement before he corrects himself. "Your dojo's pretty good too."
"We try," you chuckle.
You walk a step past him before looking back at him.
"Do you want to practice some more or join me for a tiring walk back to the hotel?" You ask jokingly.
He squeezes his black jacket in his hands before moving along with you.
"I'd love to join you," he grins. The wind blows through your white sundress making your teeth slightly chatter catching Axel's attention.
As you wrap your arms around yourself, you suddenly feel something drape around your shoulders. You realize Axel had given you his jacket.
"Thank you," you breathe out slipping your arms through the sleeves. He smiles down at you.
"So you've been watching me?" He spoke as you continued to walk down the sand.
You let out a little laugh, your face turning red from embarrassment.
"I've been watching you too," he says. "You're an amazing fighter, very graceful."
You're taken aback by his words, it meant a lot coming from him. You both stop in your place, facing one another.
"Really?" You ask hoping he wasn't messing with you.
He nods reaching his hand out to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear carefully.
Your breathing picked up, nerves running over your body as he brought his hand down your arm and intertwined your hands together.
"Very beautiful as well," he says leaning down slowly. You close your eyes, and stand on your tippy toes to press your lips up against his.
You snake one arm around his neck as he grabbed you by your hips pulling you closer to him. His lips were warm and soft, unhurriedly memorizing the taste of yours.
When you both finally pull apart, Axel is smiling softly down at you, admiring the twinkle in your eyes that shone from the full moon.
"So much for being rivals right?" You joke lazily laying your hands on his chest.
"I think we are passed that," he laughs before leaning down and kissing you again.

im always for cutting out romantic storylines so this is just typical for me but axel and sam could be so good without the super intense pining like CMON samantha larusso went on a nice little night time beach walk and came back with a giant croatian terminator guard dog because she was nice to him. they got that horse girl movie dynamic where axel is the unfriendly horse and sam is the girl with boundless optimism and apples. they stop by barcelona's fast food restaurant of choice and she marches up to the counter like él dijo sin pepinillos and when you look up, staring stoically over her shoulder is a boy mountain. miguel and the rest of miyagi do are ike "uh whatcha got there?" and sam just goes "a smoothie! :D" and then there's axel kovačević behind her with the world's tiniest awkwardest smile.

Hi, can I request a Axel Kovačević x reader fic in wich the reader is from Furia de pantera but she is not from Barcelona she is from andalusia (you can choose the province you like the most).
So the reader saw how Sensei Wolf treats Axel and has been thinking about it, and she feels guilty about having done nothing about it. Her team see how she is feeling down, so they say to go out to a bar to decompress, and obviously, she says yes. On their way to the bar, after having a bit of girl talk with Maria and Mercedes while getting dressed, she sees Axel in the beach so she tells them to go ahead and that she will meet them in the bar. She talks with him and asks him to go to the bar with her, but he says no because Sensei Wolf has banned him, so he stays focused on the tournament 🙄
So she invites him to her apartment, and she tells Axel that she saw what happened and that she regrets not doing anything and the Axel kisses her and smut happens (?)
I don't know if this makes any sense it comes from the scribbles of one of my notebooks that I have for when I have dreams that I don't want to forget and is really messy. Sorry if it's too detailed. I don't know how to make a request without giving too many details. And maybe there is a second part to this ask, but I don't know if it's ok to ask it, and I feel like I'm asking for too much 😣

The Sekai Taikai is everything you expected and more. The atmosphere is charged with adrenaline, every fight a battle for glory and honor, and every dojo striving to prove its supremacy. But while you should be focused on the competition, your mind is caught up in something else.
Or someone else.
Axel Kovacevic.
Since that training session, you haven’t been able to get out of your head what you saw. You were the only one who witnessed it. The only one who knows.
His sensei hitting him.
Axel didn’t defend himself, didn’t say anything, didn’t show anger or pain. He just took it, as if it were normal. And you… you did nothing. You stood frozen, caught between surprise and fear. And now guilt follows you like a shadow.
You try to focus on the tournament, on your fights, on your dojo’s goal. But every time you see Axel, every time you catch that vacant look and his blind obedience, you feel like you’re suffocating.
Maria, your captain, has noticed your odd behavior. During a break, she sits next to you, studying you closely.
"You’ve been quiet lately," she says firmly, as always.
"I’m just tired."
Maria narrows her eyes. She doesn’t believe you.
"You’re not fooling me."
You don’t say anything. You can’t tell her the truth. Because you were the only one who saw it. And because admitting it would mean facing the fact that you didn’t do anything.
Mercedes joins the conversation, crossing her arms.
"You could use a break. Let’s go to the bar tonight."
You want to decline. You’re not in the mood to socialize. But at the same time, you don’t want to be alone with your thoughts. So you agree.
The night air buzzes with energy as you walk through the lit-up streets. Maria and Mercedes laugh and joke, but you remain quiet, keeping pace with them.
That’s when you see him.
He’s sitting on the sand of a nearby beach, his silhouette outlined by the dim glow of the streetlights. Alone, as always.
You stop in your tracks.
"What’s wrong?" Mercedes asks, turning to look at you.
You glance at Axel for a moment before replying, "You two go ahead to the bar. I’ll catch up in a bit."
Maria gives you a suspicious look but says nothing. Mercedes, more carefree, just shrugs.
"Don’t take too long."
You watch them walk away and then take a deep breath before heading toward Axel. The sand crunches under your feet, but he doesn’t react until you’re close enough.
"What are you doing here?" he asks without looking at you, his tone flat as always.
"I should be asking you that."
Axel finally looks at you, his eyes dull and filled with something you can’t quite describe.
"Clearing my head."
You sit next to him, not caring about the sand sticking to your clothes.
"You should come with us. We’re going to the bar. You could relax a little."
Axel shakes his head before you can finish.
"I can’t. My sensei forbade it."
You frown.
"Forbidden what?"
"Going out, distracting myself. He said I should only focus on the tournament."
His words hit you like a punch to the chest. It’s not just what you saw that day; it’s everything this implies. Axel doesn’t live—he merely survives.
"Axel… that’s not right."
"It doesn’t matter if it’s right or not. It’s what I have to do."
You bite your lip, frustrated by his resignation. You can’t force him to change, but you also can’t leave him like this.
"Then come with me to my apartment."
Axel looks at you, startled.
"Your apartment?"
"Yes. Just… come. Let’s talk."
He hesitates for a moment but eventually nods.
"Alright."
The walk to your apartment is filled with an uncomfortable silence. Axel walks behind you, his posture rigid, as if preparing for something. When you finally arrive, you open the door and invite him inside.
Axel steps in cautiously, scanning every corner as though he’s in unfamiliar territory. You sit on the couch and gesture for him to sit next to you.
"I need to tell you something," you start, taking a deep breath.
Axel doesn’t respond, but his gaze locks onto yours, waiting.
"I saw what happened. During training. I saw your sensei hit you."
His eyes darken, and for a moment, it seems like he’s about to say something, but he doesn’t.
"I want you to know I’m sorry for not doing anything. I just stood there, watching, and… I’m sorry."
Axel lowers his gaze, his hands clenched into fists on his knees.
"You didn’t have to do anything," he says finally, his voice barely a whisper. "I’m used to it."
"You shouldn’t be. No one should be."
Axel lifts his head, his eyes meeting yours. For the first time, you see something different in them. Pain. Vulnerability.
You instinctively move closer, placing your hand over his.
"You don’t have to go through this alone."
Axel doesn’t reply, but he doesn’t pull away. Then, before you can think, your lips brush against his.
The kiss is soft at first, filled with hesitation and uncertainty. But then, it’s as if something inside him breaks. His hands, always so restrained, find your waist, pulling you closer.
It’s a kiss filled with repressed emotions, with everything he never says, with everything he never allows himself to feel.
When you finally pull away, Axel lowers his gaze, his breathing unsteady.
"Thank you," he whispers, his voice breaking.
You take his face in your hands, forcing him to look at you.
"You don’t have to thank me. I just want you to be okay."
Axel nods slowly, as though those words are hard for him to process.
"I'm glad you were there," he says, his voice a little louder. I'm glad it was you.
A slight smile appears on his lips. It's so rare to see him smile that it excites you even more. He kisses you again, but this time the kiss is more intense, more desperate.
"I would like to do it," he says, his eyes fixed on you. "I want to do it with you".
You blush.
"Axel…"
"I've imagined it many times," he continues, his fingers caressing your arm. "I have imagined what it would be like, how you would feel under my body"
Your breath catches in your throat. You didn't expect him to say it so openly.
But at the same time... you can't deny that you like it.
"Axel" you say, taking a breath. "Axel, you don't have to..."
"I want," he says, before you can finish. I want a lot.
He looks at you with pleading eyes, and something inside you falls apart.
"All right," you say, before you can change your mind.
Axel smiles, excited, and picks you up in his arms before lifting you off the couch. He guides you to your room with your help.
The first thing he does when they arrive is take off your clothes. He undresses you, trembling a little under Axel's fixed gaze. He takes off his clothes with difficulty, as if he weren't used to it. And when he finally has you naked at his feet, he smiles.
"You are beautiful," he says, with admiration. Exactly as I imagined.
You blush, excited, as Axel kneels between your legs.
"I want to see you," he says, looking at you with an expression full of curiosity. I want to see all parts of you. Tell me what I should do. I want you to enjoy.
You get a little excited by his honesty, but you realize that Axel has no experience in these things. So you take his hand and guide it to your pussy. You place it over your inner lips and apply pressure.
"Here" you say. "Stroke here".
Axel nods and begins to do exactly what you told him, his fingers caressing your lips gently. Then, when he seems more confident, he inserts two fingers into you and begins to move them carefully.
"Is this okay?" he asks. "Do you like it?"
"Yes", closing your eyes. "Yes, more".
"What more?" he says, curious.
"Stronger. Deeper".
Axel bites his lip before obeying, increasing the rhythm and pressure. And while his fingers make love to you, he kisses you as well, his mouth exploring every part of you that he can reach. His lips caress your neck, your breasts, your thighs, until he finally finds your pussy and begins to lick it gently.
"Axel" let go, your hips moving uncontrollably.
"Say it" he says. "Say it. Do you want me to eat you?"
"Yes" you moan, your fingers caressing her hair.
"Well" he says, smiling, and sinks deeper into you.
His lips suck on your inner lips, and his tongue enters you, moving skillfully, making you feel like you're about to explode. And when his fingers return to you, they begin to caress your clitoris, and it's too much for you.
"Axel", your body arching over the bed.
Axel lifts his eyes, excited, as your hips continue to move over his face. Then, before he can stop, you have an orgasm on his lips and fingers.
Axel licks you for a few moments, but then he sits down, his breathing quickened. You blush at his intense gaze.
"You taste so delicious" he says, kissing your thighs. "I love the taste of your pussy"
You get excited by his words, and before you can react, Axel takes your mouth with his, kissing you passionately.
"Axel" you whisper, taking his face in your hands.
"Do you want me to continue?" he asks, with a smile. "I want to fuck you. I want to fuck you until you come again".
"Yes," you say, excited by his words.
And that's exactly what he does.
Axel penetrates you gently, his eyes always on yours, as if he needs to make sure everything is okay. And when you feel comfortable, he begins to move carefully, his rhythmic thrusts.
"Axel" groans "God!"
Axel smiles and kisses you while he fucks you, his lips tracing your breasts and your neck.
"Axel… I'm going to…" you moan, feeling the orgasm approaching.
"Let's go," says Axel. "Come to me"
And you do it.
Your orgasm makes your hips arch over the bed, and Axel keeps fucking you until he also reaches climax.
It spills over you with a whisper of pleasure, and then sits beside you, its fingers caressing your breasts and thighs. You smile, excited by the touch.
"That was... incredible," you say, taking their hand in yours.
"Yes," he says, with a smile.

Pt.5 (last part not incl. epilogue)
୨୧・・・・♡・・・・୨୧
I could hear the muffled sounds of Sam talking on the balcony with her mom, her voice trembling as she argued, almost on the verge of tears. I lay curled up in my blanket, my mind spiraling as I replayed everything that had happened the day before—the accident with Kwon. Even after the incident, a part of me clung to hope that somehow, a miracle would save him. But that hope was shattered when Mr. LaRusso came to our room, his expression grave, to tell Sam and me that Kwon hadn't made it and that we'd be leaving tomorrow night.
I couldn't close my eyes, haunted by the memories of every interaction I'd had with him, especially the moment on the beach. The guilt was overwhelming, gnawing at me with every passing second. I couldn't forgive myself, no matter how hard I tried to rationalize it. My thoughts drifted to Axel, wondering how he was coping with everything. Mr. LaRusso had mentioned that the Iron Dragons would be staying longer because Axel was the primary suspect in the incident. But I had seen it unfold right in front of my eyes. I knew Axel had only been trying to defend himself.
Sam returned to the room, and we didn't speak. There was an unspoken understanding between us that silence was what we both needed in that moment. I glanced up to see Sam beginning to pack, her movements mechanical, as if she were going through the motions without really thinking about it. I knew then what I had to do. I had to go check on Axel, see how he was doing. Maybe we could talk, or perhaps just sit together in silence, offering each other comfort without needing words.
I stood up, still wearing the messy clothes and braids from yesterday's events. I grabbed my slippers and quietly walked out of the room. The hall was quieter now, with people already leaving, their luggage in tow. I sighed as I gazed out the window. The weather mirrored the heaviness in the air—gray and overcast, as though it was on the verge of raining at any moment.
I found myself standing in front of Axel's door, glancing around as the last two people exited the building and headed toward the elevator. With a deep breath, I knocked softly on the door.
'Axel, it's me, Y/n,' I called out, hoping for a response. But all I received in return was silence. I hesitated for a moment, then decided to try again.
To my surprise, I didn't have to wait long. Axel opened the door, his eyes looking like he hadn't slept in ages—tired and lost. He was wearing a white shirt and black sweatpants. With a deep sigh, he didn't say a word but simply pulled me into a tight hug. We stood there in the doorway, wrapped in each other's arms, for what felt like an eternity.
Finally, I heard him mumble softly, 'You don't know how bad I wanted to see you, hug you...'
I tightened my grip around him, holding him close as if I could somehow comfort him, even if just for a moment.
We stood there, holding each other, the silence between us heavy but strangely comforting. The weight of the past few days seemed to fade in that quiet embrace. I could feel his breath, shaky and uneven, as if he were trying to keep his emotions in check.
Finally, I pulled back just slightly, enough to look into his eyes. His expression was distant, haunted, as if he was lost in thought, struggling with whatever was going on inside.
'Are you okay?' I whispered, gently brushing a stray lock of hair from his forehead. He didn't immediately answer, and the silence stretched on, but I didn't push.
He let out a shaky breath, shaking his head slightly. 'I don't know anymore,' he muttered, his voice thick with emotion. 'I never thought something like this could happen. I thought... I thought I could control everything, but now...'
He trailed off, his words hanging in the air, heavy with the weight of guilt and confusion. I didn't know what to say. It was hard to know how to respond, knowing that no words could truly fix what had happened. But I didn't want him to feel like he had to carry all of it alone.
'You don't have to do this by yourself, Axel,' I said softly, taking his hand. 'I'm here, okay? Whatever you need, I'm here.'
He squeezed my hand in return, his grip still shaky, but there was a hint of relief in his touch. For a moment, he seemed to gather his thoughts, his eyes flickering with something unspoken, like he was debating whether to let more of his emotions slip free.
'I keep thinking about it,' he said, his voice barely above a whisper. 'The accident. The way everything just... spiraled. I should have known better. I should've done something different.' His voice cracked, and I could hear the weight of the guilt in his words.
I gently placed my other hand on his cheek, urging him to look at me. When his eyes met mine, they were full of so many emotions—fear, regret, sadness—and I could feel his heart breaking in that moment.
'Axel, you can't carry this on your own,' I said, my voice steady despite the emotions welling up inside me. 'What happened wasn't your fault. You tried to help. You tried to protect everyone. And sometimes... things just happen. There's no way to control everything. But you didn't cause this.'
His eyes softened, just a little, as though he was holding on to my words, letting them sink in. He let out another long breath, this time quieter, like he was trying to release some of the tension that had built up in his chest.
'I don't know how to fix this,' he admitted, his voice barely audible, the words heavy with vulnerability. 'I don't know how to fix me.'
I gently wiped away a stray tear from his cheek, a tear I hadn't noticed before. 'You don't need to fix yourself, Axel,' I said softly. 'You're not broken. You're hurting, and that's okay. But you'll heal. You just need time. And you need to let yourself feel what you're feeling, not bottle it all up.'
Axel closed his eyes for a moment, nodding slowly. His breath was shaky again, but it seemed a little less tense now, a little more at ease with the comfort I was offering. Slowly, he wrapped his arms around me once more, pulling me close.
We stood there for a moment longer, wrapped in the quiet embrace, and then Axel gently pulled away, his arms still lingering around my waist for a second before he let go. I could see the storm behind his eyes—the swirling thoughts that wouldn't let him rest, the self-doubt that seemed to weigh him down more than anything else. His gaze shifted to the ground, his brow furrowing as if he were wrestling with an internal battle.
Without a word, he motioned for me to follow him into his room. As we walked through the door, I noticed the small, familiar clutter of his belongings scattered around, but the atmosphere felt heavy, like the walls themselves were suffocating under the weight of his thoughts. Axel sat down on the edge of his bed, his posture slouched as if the exhaustion of the past few days was catching up to him.
I took a seat beside him, not saying anything, just letting the silence settle between us for a moment. I knew he needed space to process everything, but I also knew he wasn't ready to be alone with his thoughts—those were the kind of thoughts that could easily spiral.
Axel ran his hand through his hair, his fingers trembling slightly. 'I keep thinking... what if I had done something differently?' he murmured, his voice barely audible. 'What if I hadn't been so focused on... everything? What if I could have stopped it before it happened? Maybe it would have been different.'
I could hear the self-recrimination in his voice, the endless loop of "what ifs" that he was trapped in. It was heartbreaking to watch, knowing how much he was beating himself up over something he couldn't have predicted or prevented. I wanted to say something, to make him see that there was no way he could have known, that it wasn't his fault, but the words caught in my throat. Sometimes, no matter how much you care for someone, there are just no easy words to make the pain go away.
Instead, I simply placed a hand on his shoulder, a silent gesture of comfort, trying to remind him that he wasn't alone in this.
'Axel,' I said softly, my voice steady but full of the emotions I was trying to hide. 'You can't keep torturing yourself over this. You're not responsible for what happened. You were just trying to help. There's nothing more you could have done.'
He didn't respond right away. His gaze was still on the floor, and I could see the deep conflict within him. He was angry, frustrated, and sad all at once. But above all, he was lost.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity of silence, Axel spoke again, his voice quieter this time, almost as if he were talking to himself more than to me. 'I keep wondering... if I'll ever be the same again. If I can ever forgive myself for what happened. I don't know how to move past this.'
'You don't have to have all the answers right now,' I said gently. 'Healing takes time. You don't need to fix everything today. You just need to be kind to yourself. This isn't your fault.'
He let out a deep breath, his body still tense as if holding onto everything he couldn't say. Then, he turned his head to meet my eyes, and for the first time in a while, I saw something other than guilt and self-doubt—he looked vulnerable, uncertain, but he seemed to accept the weight of the moment.
'Y/n,' he started, his voice breaking slightly, 'I don't think I'll ever be able to make it right. And I think... I think it's better if we just go our separate ways now. It's just too much. I don't know how to be around you when I know I can't fix things.'
The words hit me harder than I expected. I knew it was coming. In the back of my mind, I had been preparing for this, but hearing him say it aloud felt like a finality I wasn't ready for. I had hoped, foolishly perhaps, that somehow this would pass, that we could move forward together. But reality was setting in.
I nodded slowly, my throat tightening. 'I understand, Axel. I really do.'
There was a pause, and then he gave a small, sad smile, though it didn't reach his eyes. 'I'm sorry, Y/n. I never wanted to hurt you. But... I think this is the only way.'
I wanted to say so many things—things that might have made it better, that might have made him see that we didn't have to say goodbye. But the truth was, we both needed space. Time to heal.
'I'm sorry too,' I whispered, fighting back the tears that were threatening to fall. 'I never wanted things to end like this. But maybe... maybe it's better this way. We both need to move on, even if it's hard.'
He nodded, his eyes wet with the same unshed tears. 'Take care of yourself, Y/n,' he said quietly. 'And... thank you. For everything.'
I stood up slowly, my heart heavy in my chest, and walked toward the door. Axel didn't follow me, but I could feel the weight of his gaze on my back as I reached for the handle. Before I could leave, I turned to look at him one last time.
'Goodbye, Axel,' I said, my voice thick with emotion. 'I hope you find peace.'
He gave me one last nod, his eyes filled with gratitude and sorrow. 'Goodbye, Y/n. Take care.'
With that, I stepped out of his room, the door clicking softly behind me. As I walked down the hallway, I could feel the finality of the moment settling in. This was it. Our paths were no longer aligned. And while I knew this was the right choice for both of us, it didn't make it any easier.
We had shared something meaningful, something beautiful, but some stories, no matter how much they hurt, were meant to end .
¡Important!
Author’s Note: Hi everyone, I want to sincerely apologize for the long wait and for not uploading anything. The exams turned out to be harder than I expected, and unfortunately, I didn’t pass two of them. But, I want to let you all know that I plan to write and post a really long epilogue within the next 7 days or so. I hope you’ve enjoyed the story so far, and I truly appreciate your patience. I know the ending may have left some of you feeling emotional, but please remember, there’s still the epilogue to look forward to. So, don’t worry, I’ll make sure to tie up the loose ends. Thanks again for all your support, and I promise the epilogue will be worth the wait!

Note
AxelSam is very cute! It reminds me of Daniel with a socially awkward and somewhat shy Twig 🤣 These tall handsome men certainly have a thing for short pretty brunettes!
Seems to be the correlation people are drawing.
Daniel and some form of Terry to them.
It’s also the size difference, I’m sure lol
I think the actor is actually taller than Thomas.

piece by piece, he collected me up | Axel Kovačević x fem! reader
based off this request
summary: as sam's little sister you were always stuck in the shadow of her when it came to academics, karate, and love. when you were offered a scholarship to train in Hong Kong, you took the chance to venture out and create you're own legacy.
Wc: 2.8k warnings: daddy issues (kind of), none, fluff

not my gif
It started when your sister showed interest in practicing karate again. You never gave up on the sport, karate was your outlet to the life around you.
Growing up, your older sister was always the one with the better grades, better friends, better relationship with your parents. She even had the better love life.
You loved your sister, but when she expressed wanting to join you in karate, you couldn't help but fake a smile and hold back your tears, ignoring the tightening in your chest. Now she would have the only little attention your dad paid to you.
At the last All Valley tournament when you and Miguel Diaz won in your divisions, there was a surprise second prize that came along with your 1st place trophy.
It was a scholarship to train in Hong Kong with the number one dojo in the entire world. Your parents were hesitant to let you go, but you had convinced them this was a once in a lifetime chance and it's all you could ever hope for.
So you went. You've spent the last two years learning and achieving a whole new level of fighting that you would never have imagined. The Iron Dragons had taught you endurance, discipline, and combat.
Sensei Wolf took a special liking towards you, you had come from a defense only mindset and with your years of experience, you gave his two star pupils, Zara and Axel, a run for their money.
The first few months were extremely hard and difficult to adjust to Sensei Wolf's lessons, but once Zara and Axel got to know you, they finally understood your intentions and no longer saw you as a threat.
Zara showed you mercy after overhearing a call between you and Sam. Your sister was ecstatic her and Miguel had reconnected and that they had kept The All Valley up and going.
Your teammate knew what it was like to live in the shadows of others, it was why she always wanted to be the best. She took you under her wing and broke down the soft side in you, using your defensive moves mix in with your new offense.
And when she caught you checking out the tall blue eyed boy a few times after practice, she made it her life's mission to make sure you and Axel ended up together.
Which you did.
Fast forward to the present, you and Axel had just finished watching a movie at a local theater, and sat together at an ice cream shop enjoying a mint chocolate chip cone.
"You're hogging it," you pout at your boyfriend who held the frozen treat up to his lips.
"It is your fault you make me like this," Axel grins taking another lick of the green substance. You rolled your eyes with a small smile knowing you had indeed introduced him to sweets.
He handed you the cone using his now free hand to wrap an arm around the back of your seat and leaned back, softly running his fingers through your loose hair.
As you and Axel began talking about the movie you saw, your phone suddenly lit up with Sam's face indicating she was FaceTiming you.
With the time zone differences, it was hard to call your family so anytime they reached out, you took the call.
"I'll be right back," you say handing your ice cream cone to the boy next to you. "Don't finish it!"
"I can not promise that," he says making you shove him playfully. Grabbing your phone, you walk over to a secluded corner in the shop and answer the call.
"Hey Sammy," you smile at your sister. She has her phone propped up on her vanity as she did her make up, her pink romper letting you know she was getting ready to go out for the night.
"(Y/n)!" She squeals setting her palette down. "Did you like the movie?"
"Yeah it was actually-"
"I have some exciting news!" Your hyperactive sibling cuts you off. "Miyagi-Do qualified for the Sekai Taikai!"
Your smile fell instantly at her announcement. They were going to Barcelona?
"Oh, that's great!" You put on an enthusiastic attitude. "Dad must be so excited."
"He is! In fact," Sam picked her phone up. "We were brainstorming and thinking we should save you a spot on our team-"
"What?" You cut her off flabbergasted at what she was implying. "You're not saying you want me to join Miyagi-Do for the tournament right?"
She goes quiet, her eyes searching the screen to see you looking back at her annoyed.
"Well, yeah, with you we'd be an unbeatable team," she says. She's looking at you with anticipation, hoping you'll drop the dojo you've grown at.
"No," you respond flatly.
"No?" Sam repeats furrowing her eyebrows in confusion. You licked your lips stating your ground.
"Don't hold a spot for me," you discourage their idea. "Congratulations on making it to the tournament, but you guys did it without me, you can do it again."
Sam is quick to rebuttal and beg you to reconsider but you didn't even entertain the idea of joining them.
"I have to go, but we'll talk later, I love you," you hang up hastily, and hold your phone to your chest.
You couldn't believe the proposition you just heard. You worked your ass to get to where you were, and once again it's being taken from you.
Sauntering back to your table, Axel sat in the same seat waiting for you with a new cone.
"I ate your ice cream so I got new one," he says cutely cracking a smile on your face.
"Thank you," you exhale plopping down next to him. Axel is quick to notice your change in mood, the way you sighed and leaned your head on his shoulder let him know something is wrong.
"How is your sister?" He asks rubbing the side of your arm soothingly.
You pondered if you should tell him about your family's idea, not wanting to give him to think you'd consider switching sides.
"She's good..." you trail off nibbling at your dessert. You feel Axel staring at the side of your face, he brings his hand up to tuck your hair behind your ear making you look over at him.
"What is bothering you, my love?" He asks sweetly his low voice making your stomach turn. He knew you all too well.
"Their dojo is going to the Sekai Taikai," you say bummed out. "I love my family, but I wanted just this one thing to myself."
Axel nods, placing his hand over your free one sitting on the table.
"Selfish, I know," you acknowledge avoiding his gaze, finishing off your cone.
"You are anything but selfish," Axel corrects you. "Do not make self small because family over looks you."
"Oh they see me alright," you snort placing your elbow on the table, leaning your head in your hand. "They want me to join them for the tournament."
"Are you going to?" He quizzes you.
"Absolutely not," you shook your head. "You're stuck with me, Kovačević."
The Croatian boy chuckled, relieved you would stay with the team that's taken you in. Axel knew how you had to fight for you father's attention and how much you so badly wanted his approval in life.
Especially in karate.
---------------------------------------------------------
The next few months had flown by, you had trained everyday for hours on end working with Axel and Zara to sharpen your instincts, and skills.
Sensei Wolf had also selected you to be his captain for the girls division to which Zara had praised you on. You'll never forget what she told you that day:
"It's not about where you started, it's about where you finish. This isn't about proving them wrong about your abilities. This is about proving to yourself that you belong here."
It was finally time for the Sekai Taikai, you walked proudly with your green uniform, and white captain's head band tied around your head.
When you came face to face with the people you hadn't seen in over two years, it felt like no time had passed. You resisted the urge to drop your cold demeanor and run across the matt to embrace your dad and sister.
Regardless of your history, you still missed them.
It was when all teams were required to attend the aquarium, you were able to talk to Sam.
"Hey little sis," Sam greets you when your team enters the aquatic building. She's quick to envelope you in a hug, almost knocking you back.
"Hey," you smile softly accepting her affection.
"You look amazing!" she pulls back from you, examining you head to toe. One thing you always loved about Sam; she never had a bad thing to say about you.
"So do you," you return the compliment.
"(Y/n)!" Miguel and Robby approach you both.
The last time you had seen the two boys, Miguel had just won the All Valley and Robby began training again with your dad.
"Hey, big brothers," you teased them, greeting both with a hug. When Sam had told you their parents were expecting together, you laughed at the irony of the whole situation.
"You look good," Robby commented his green eyes scanning over you.
"I said that!" Sam agreed giddly, elbowing him.
"What kind of workouts do they have you doing over there?" Miguel asked faking suspicion.
Rolling your eyes at their remarks, you crossed your arms over your chest.
"Where's your boyfriend? I wanna meet him!" Sam inquires exciting at meeting your first ever love interest.
"You have a boyfriend?" Robby reiterates.
"Don't sound so surprised," you respond sarcastically.
"No- I just mean you never showed interest in anyone back home, I thought you were a lone wolf kind of girl," he attempts to lighten the situation.
"Right," you said narrowing your eyes. Looking around for an auburn haired boy, you spot Axel standing along with Zara on the side.
He catches your eyes on him, making you wave him down. Zara follows along with him, wanting to meet your old team as well.
"Guys, this is my boyfriend Axel," you gesture to the tall Croatian boy next to you, "and this is my friend, well teammate, Zara."
"Hey," Miguel and Robby nod at your two teammates giving them a closed mouth smile.
"This is Sam, Miguel, and Robby," you introduce your home people to your new people.
"Hi," Zara says with a small grin, eyes never leaving Robby's making you chuckle.
"(Y/n)'s talked so much about you," Sam says to Axel. "I'm glad we could all finally meet."
"Yes, and especially before competition," Axel says smoothly making you shake your head.
"So who are your captains?" Zara spoke up wanting to get on the topic of the tournament.
"Robby and I are the captains," Sam smiles. You couldn't control the way your eyebrows lifted up in surprise, you really thought Miguel would be wearing the white headband.
"Don't look so surprised," Robby throws back at you playfully.
"What about you guys?" Miguels questions.
"Me and her," Axel smirks pulling you into him by your hip.
"Wow," your sister blinks, her voice slightly nervous. "That's great!"
"She earned it," Zara says a hint of smugness behind her voice. She wanted to make sure your old team knew they were in for a challenge.
Before anyone could say anything else, the teams are called forward so pictures can be taken.
—————————————————————————
The first day of the tournament was a breeze. For your team of course. This wasn't your first Sekai Taikai, you had gone with the Iron Dragons last year and won first place.
Miyagi-Do however, struggled.
You’d never forget the look of shock on their faces when it came down to The Iron Dragons and Cobra Kai during the 'Captain's War' event.
You and Axel made Kwon and Tory look defenseless by how fast you took them down together. From the way Sam had described you, Tory was expecting a petite off balance fighter when in reality you moved with grace and packed a punch with every hit.
When your eyes met your dad's you saw a look of fright. It almost made you upset, because if you won would he have the same look instead of being happy for you?
Looking down at an awe-struck Tory, you introduce yourself.
"Nice to officially meet you," you smirk down at her. "Welcome to Barcelona."
From the corner of your eye, you see Sam and Miguel share a look of concern with each other. They had no idea what they were in for.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Your team was dominating the tournament, The Iron Dragons had remained in 1st place through out the next few days. Luckily, you didn't match up with Miyagi-Do.
Until now.
It was the tag-team event, if they lost they would go against Cobra Kai who lost their 1st round.
"How are you feeling?" Axel questions you as the two of you warmed up together.
"Like I'm ready to kick ass," you respond confidently.
"That's my girl," he grins walking up to you. As the two of you share a sweet kiss, you suddenly hear someone coughing behind you.
Your dad stood behind you, a stern look on his face.
"Is this the Axel, you've been talking about?" Your dad approaches you slowly.
"In the flesh," you grin looking up at your tall beau. Axel stood wearily, unsure how to feel about meeting your dad.
He knew the issues you had developed from lack of attention from your dad, it made him just a little bitter inside because you were sweet like candy and tough as nails when it came to fighting, you should be the center of his universe.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Daniel LaRusso," your dad extends his hand for Axel. Your boyfriend takes his hand, shaking it firmly.
"Axel," he says shortly nodding his head. "Good to meet you."
"Thank you for taking care of my girl here," your dad runs a hand over the back of your head, smiling down at you.
"It is an honor," Axel states making you blush. "But if I am being honest, she takes care of me."
Before you, Axel didn't see a day of relaxation or know what the taste of your favorite ice cream was. He trained, went to school, slept, repeat.
You taught him the balance of life and karate. He had never known what it was to have fun and enjoy the small things in life before you came along.
He was forever grateful you were sent to him.
"Well, I just thought I'd come over here to meet your guy, and to wish you luck," your dad said turning to you.
"And to you," you wish him as well.
"Don't hold back on us out there," your dad jokes.
"We won't," you promise, a smile decorated on your face.
Your dad sends you the bow of respect to which you and Axel both reciprocate.
"Still feeling good?" Axel turns to you as you watch your dad walk over to your sister. They both glance your way making you grumble.
"Oh yeah," you nod feeling that fire light beneath your feet. "I'm ready."
Both teams lined up in the taped circle, the ref standing outside of it to watch for points.
Axel was first to stand in the ring, Hawk going up against him first. Hawk attacked first, Axel easily blocking his kicks and landing a point when he struck him behind his head.
"Shit," you hear Johnny mutter.
As you discussed, Axel tagged Zara in, leaving you last as the element of surprise.
Demetri was tagged next, making you scoff. Zara ate kids like him for lunch. She does it swiftly, and quickly, Demetri is taken by surprise by her aggressive approach, unable to block her punch to his chest.
As the skinny lanky boy tagged your sister in, Zara walked over to you slapping your hand.
"It's your time now," she says looking directly at you before stepping in your place next to Axel.
You're nervous, swallowing the lump in the back of your throat. You hadn't sparred with Sam in over seven years, much less fought.
"Aggressive, LaRusso!" Johnny yells, making your eyes narrow.
You could be aggressive too.
Sam comes at you, thinking you'd defend the way you were taught, but you block her kick with both arms and push back, making her stumble on to the ground.
She stares up at you wide eyed, and stands up before you can move towards her. This time you came at her. She blocked off your two kicks, but while her arms were up you took the opportunity to fall on one knee and kick her side earning your team the last and final point.
"Point! The Iron Dragons win 3 to 0!"
Your dojo surrounds you patting your back and chanting excitedly, Axel lifting you off the ground to twirl you around in his arms. Laughing, he sets you back down, a giant smile on your face at your victory.
"Congratulations," your dad's voice pops up from behind you.
You turn to face him, Sam standing by his side a look of uneasiness on her.
"Thanks," you respond unsure if you were allowed to spread your happiness about the face that you had won.
"You did great out there," Sam acknowledges, genuinely speaking. "You're gonna win this tournament."
"Think so?" You ask hope lingering in your voice.
"I know so," she confirms giving you a small smile. The both of you fall into step, wrapping each other up in a hug.
Regardless of how this ended, you knew Sam would always be in your corner.
Your sister walks away, leaving you and your dad alone.
"You've grown into such an amazing fighter, (Y/n)," your dad breathes out. "I can't even comprehend what I've seen from you these last few days. Mr. Miyagi would be proud."
Your mouth fell open at his words. To bring up his mentor and say that even his idol would approve of you? It hit home.
"Thank you, dad," you whimper, tears gathering in your eyes. "That means a lot."
"I was worried about you moving away from us, but I see how happy you are here, with them," your dad motions to the people behind you. "They really look out for you."
Twisting your head, you see Axel and Zara looking over at you making your smile fondly at your friend and boyfriend.
"Just don't forget about your other family, me, mom, Sam, and Anthony," your old sensei reminds you. "We'll be there when you're ready to come back to us."
You nod understanding that even though you may have felt left out for so long, you were still his daughter. He still worried about his 2nd born, that went across the world from him and thinks about you and your well being everyday.
You had the text and voicemails to prove it.
"I know, dad," you respond softly. He pulls you in his arms, hugging you tightly like the night before you left on the airplane that took you to Hong Kong.
"And this Axel kid better treat you right, or else," your dad warns you.
You laugh pulling away from him.
"He's a perfect gentlemen," you attempt to comfort your parent. "He also knows I can kick his ass if he isn't."
"That's definetly true," your dad chuckles.
After you and your dad say your goodbyes for the day, you head over to your boyfriend.
"Everything go okay?" Axel asks concerned they may have been upset of their loss.
"Better than okay," you assure your co-captain. He lets out a sigh of relief at your relaxed demeanor, letting him know you were fine.
You reached for his hands, intertwining your fingers together.
"Thank you for looking out for me," you say staring up at the blue eye boy adoringly. Axel can't help but step forward coming chest to chest with you.
"I will always do my best to look out for you," he states before leaning down to capture your lips with his.
Your heart melts in you chest at his words, the love continuing to grown for the man that held you high on his list of priorities.
