Anyhow, You should check out Araneus ventricosus. Its foraging technique study is featured in both Cell Press, and Smithsonian Mag. Wikipedia is also a good start.

I am annoyed that its Chinese common name is not mentioned anywhere. I vaguely remember it. What is it called? Or it is just a name for all orb weavers from China?

Me, personally, I can't say I like spiders, I just love the intricacy of the ecosystems.
