#366/192 Happy Birthday to my lovely son, Frankie @frankyfrank9 for today and Happy Birthday to his super partner @aliceclenshaw for 18th July!. . We had such a fab socially-distanced, lockdown birthday meet-up in #kenningtonpark earlier today. . . Floss and I took the day off and drove up to Kennington to meet up. We parked the car nearby and took a short stroll to the park. .. . I’ve not seen my son IRL since mid-February so Floss and I were very excited about the day. . We arrived just in time for lunch and were soon munching our way through 3 of the most delicious takeaway pizzas from the Cafe in the park and then had a game of...oh damn - I’ve forgotten its name! . . Well, It’s a great game where you throw a baton at 12 wooden pegs and either score the number of pegs you knocked down or the number on the peg, if you just knock one down. I loved the sound of the wood on wood, as it toppled over and to hit the pegs with the baton was a lot harder than you might think! . . Floss had a wonderful time too, meeting and playing with other dogs, making friends with new humans and generally keeping an eye on us all. . We stayed until early evening. The park was vibrant and fun with plenty of space to enjoy being outside safely. . . Shame @alischo and @nickjoneslife couldn’t be with us too but we can celebrate again when they can travel here again from #australiatouk . Floss and I look forward to driving up again soon. . . . . . #littlestories #littlestoriesofmylife #stillstayinghometosavelives #Londonphotographer #headshotsLondon #productphotograoher #specialistbrandphotographer #businessbrandphotographer #hertfordshirephotographer #brandphotographer #businessphotographer #marketingphotographer #advertisingphotographer #petphotographerLondon #portraitphotographer #familyphotographerlondonhertfordshire #familyphotographerlondon #familydayout❤️ #happylockdownbirthday #sociallydistancedbirthday #lovemysonsomuch #lovelondon❤️ #lovelondonparks #lovelyday❤️ #lovelydaytoday #lovelybordercollie #flossthebordercollie (at Kennington Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCek8U-hvt5/?igshid=x4n0og59penb

Watch out UK imma get cha!
So i’m telling everyone now, might as well write it down. I am moving to the UK next year! Yes i am. In saying that money is going to dictate a lot, as it does. I’m still in approx 18k in debt and i need to have 5k of savings at least for my Visa. My stubbornness is in my favour though, because i am moving to the UK next year... against all odds if need be. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that.
I have recently decided that I am either moving to London or Glasgow. If work agrees on some kind of transfer i will go to London, work full time for a bit. Travel every weekend, all over the UK as i want to see it all (and nothing is that far away, as i’m from Australia and know about actual distance). I have people, a beautiful family i can stay with in Woking/Surrey until i find my feet. Alternatively i will go on my own volition to Glasgow which i kinda fell in love with for the short time i was there. I have a couple i can stay with there (Their wedding is what brought me to the UK in the first place). It will be harder in Glasgow because i will have to figure out money as well as housing. But maybe i’ll be more floaty and get to do more theatre. I think Mum and Gran worry more for Glasgow, but as work is so frustrating lately i like the idea more and more.
The last point is something i didn’t too much about in the beginning, because it was always so far away, it still is. Perhaps its also because this whole move is quite selfish. I have a family, i’m an only child but my mum has my Gran so they will be fine. 4 kid cousins (8-12 years) who will grow up in my absents. 2 grown up cousins who will do great with or without me (but i would like to think they will miss me)  My post estranged father will hopefully try to look after my Nana who is not as young as she used to be... But i never thought i’d have another best friend. We don’t ever talk about me leaving. i don’t think she believes i can even do it, or maybe she just hopes it’ll never happen. Relationships are so hard, because they all end one way or another. I have had some experiences with epic friendships. This one works so well because we are housemates. We live in a sea of in jokes that make us the fun duo that we are. We will still talk obviously but these years have been so damn fun... I get so excited about the UK all new and big, full of the unknown, but it comes with some sorrow to say goodbye. But i still think its better to leave when things are good... because if you leave when things are terrible you are just running away, I am not running away, i am running to, to what i don’t know yet.
