Lol not to be girlie girl but like what if

leafpool fretted over her sister’s “kits” so much that thunderclan endearingly started referring to her as the 3’s second mother.

It would make sense, since of course leafpool couldn’t have kits of her own, so her nephews and niece would fit perfectly into that role for her.

And like- squirrelflight obviously didn’t care in the slightest because of the love she had for her sister. Plus it gave her the chance to stretch her legs whenever the other queens were busy.

been bouncing around an au in my head for a while. i dont have much solidified yet but here’s the three and their respective parentage

finchfeather (jayfeather) is the oldest of the three, he was born shortly after whitewing and birchfall became warriors (he was.. unplanned LOL)

finch and dove are siblings as jay’s wing and dove’s wing were siblings. it just makes more sense to me

since jay and dove have bird themed names, ivy gets a new one - pigeonfall to parallel dovewing (pigeon- from doves and pigeons being in the same family; -fall from her father since -wing is from their mother). jayfeather got changed to finchfeather since he’s no longer crow’s son (jays and crows are corvids)

holly and lion inherited their “manes” from leafpool’s side of the family

u can see the “order” of the three by the # of white dots on their faces lol

pigeon gets green eyes cuz pretty

finch can perceive light and shadows, but not much else. to him, starclan cats radiate very brightly its almost impossible for even him to miss them.

squirrelflight has fertility issues, yellowfang did lie about being completely barren, though. she and brambleclaw had been trying for kits for moons so he considered it a miracle by the time the three were finally born. it was considered a cryptic pregnancy as whitewing didnt know she was pregnant until her third trimester!

sandstorm, daisy, and ferncloud noticed leafpool’s pregnancy. the latter two kept quiet, and had to convince sandstorm not to mention it before leafpool was ready.

i dont havw any other notes rn but maybe i’ll post more of this au later lol

THE AU: everything is the same, except ashfur doesn't let the three live after squirrelflight tells him they're not hers. In desperation, squirrelflight attacks ashfur, but in her weakened state he pushes her into the fire. she's engulfed by the flames and the three fall from the cliff/edge and also die.

ashfur survives with burn scars and battle wounds, as his mental state declines quickly-he never meant to kill squirrelflight, just her kids. at the next gathering, he tells everyone that the three weren't hers, just to drag her name in the mud-despite her being dead.

a few things happen all at once;

everyone begins to hate ashfur. four cats are dead and he's looking awfully suspicious, and now he's just...bad-mouthing the dead???

when TC returns back to camp firestar threatens to exile ashfur for this. the only reason why he doesn't is that ashfur is critically injured and despite the suspicions, there's no concrete proof of his murder of squirrelflight.

brambleclaw, in his grief probably would've attacked ashfur, not believing a word he said *AT FIRST* but leafpool is the one to murder him.

leafpool is having an awful time and after the murder of ashfur, she decides to come clean, to everything. she admits that the three were her's,not squirrelflights but she doesn't throw crowfeather under the bus. TC reacts...pretty good, no one blames her for murdering ashfur especially after ferncloud openly supports leafpool and squirrelflight. this becomes TC's little secret, as no one really sees the point in dragging out her 'betrayal'

BECAUSE no one knows crowfeather is the father, only the older warriors of TC, this makes breezepelt not a future villain to TC.

Some very old art of an au where Leafpool doesn't tell anyone she's pregnant, dies during kitting, and Squirrelflight is only able to find Hollykit and Lionkit.

Have a comic about my previous PO3 kittypet AU where Potato (Lionpaw), after he joins Thunderclan alongisde his siblings, decides to become a medicine cat after experiencing the killing-heatherpaw-nightmares.

After what happened in the mountains (him unlocking his powers and going ballistic on the invading cats), he fears he won't be able to control his powers and he might hurt someone he loves, so in order to counter that, he decides to change path !

Also in this AU, Jaypaw is a warrior apprentice and he learns to fight in tandem with Hollypaw !

More MoonSol au posting

A thought came into my mind a while back is that Moonkit/paw would frequently have dreams of badgers and Skyclan that she believes are prophetic and from Starclan. In reality, she's just experiencing Sol's memories from his perspective. She often goes to Jayfeather and Alderheart yapping away about her prophecy's and her destiny. Idk if I'll make this canon but I think it would be funny if she wanted to be a medicine cat but Jayfeather doesn't want anything to do with her because she bothers him so much.
