The grandmaster had only insisted on the sparring to assess Daedra’s swordplay in combat instead of just simple drills and formations. Atterria should have relented here attack when she saw Daedra struggling to keep up, but she hadn’t. The older woman had wholeheartedly believed that Daedra’s sense of self-preservation would ignite and find the weakness in Atterria’s attack to defend herself. Instead, Daedra didn’t block properly and Atterria’s wooden sword came into brunt contact with the redhead’s arm. “I feel terrible for pushing you so hard and hope that you can find it within yourself to forgive me.”

Daedra, who had taken the opportunity to adjust her sleeve as well as offering her wound a soothing rub, paused when her ears picked up on Atterria's tone. When the redhead turned her gaze, she saw the older looking almost downtrodden and guilty.

"Er... It's not a problem at all though," the smaller tactician replied. Daedra's large blue eyes blinked in confusion, really not seeing why the other was upset. "It was just an accident! We were training--getting bruised happens!"

While she didn't get battered around as much as when she first joined the Shepherds, Daedra still had her rough and tumbling days. Even if she was mostly kept away from the major fighting in battles, she was still expected to train and be ready.

"You don't have to feel bad! I'm not mad-- and like I said, it's only really hurts when I touch it. That's hardly an injury!"

FE7 and Path of Radiance really need rereleases at this point, it’s just getting absurd that the heights of the franchise are getting shafted this badly. At least FE2′s getting a remake, I never got around to playing that one bc you couldn’t make me suffer through the NES interface for an FE game with a gun to my head, and it gives me hope that maybe we’ll see a continuing remake sub-series under the Echoes tag (FE4 fucking when)

Hello, hi, greetings! Soul here.

Just dropping by to post (with granted permission, of course) a doodle that I commissioned from my good friend, Samu.

It was never a secret that I absolutely hate the original Grandmaster outfit from Awakening, so I decided to redesign it with some recent inspirations from FEH in mind. Thanks to Samu, this version now exists and I couldn't be happier. I hope you can appreciate Grandmaster Atterria almost as much as me~

"Oh...it-it wasn't so bad," Daedra said with a forced smile.

Except the injury to her elbow had been quite painful indeed. Even now there was lingering soreness. Thankfully, there was no break or even damage to the muscle tissue. All that remained was some severe bruising that lingered after the healers attended to her. Daedra was rightfully keeping it covered as even she didn't like looking at the green and purplish blemishes.

"It really only hurts when it's touched," she claimed, blending her arm up in display.

And immediately winced as her bandages and clothing pulled tight around it.
