Heroes' work is a dangerous business, but that doesn't mean every hero is prepared for that reality.

When the Teen Titans were formed originally there were 6 of them, Dick, Wally, Donna, Garth, Roy, and Danny.

They felt vindicated, to have their own team, to not be relegated to the role of "sidekick" anymore.

And then, before they had even made their debut as a team publicly, before they had really gotten used to each other a mission went wrong. The Justice League had been preoccupied with an invasion and the team had agreed to go to space to attack the aliens at their source.

Phantom was hit with a beam of unidentified origin, and he disappeared with no trace. Phantom, who was already dead. Phantom, who had protected his town alone for two years taking on JL level threats by himself. Phantom, who was only 16.

It was the first time any of them had had a teammate die, and they carried his second death with them. They never really brought it up to younger members, Danny would have hated being treated as a cautionary tale—a ghost story. The worldwide media had never known that Phantom was a hero, let alone an original Titan and the world kept turning.

Then one day, years later, Danny Fenton appeared on the Watchtower every bit as young, dead, and unworldly as the day he disappeared.

JUJUTSU KAISEN

genres: adventure, dark fantasy, supernatural

notes: jjk is hands down one of my fave animes. it just has so many cool characters and the growth that they go thru is so cool to watch, plus the power system is really cool (albeit a little complicated) and it really keeps you on your toes so i always rec this one

HAIKYU!!

genres: comedy, coming of age, sports

notes: hq is one of those feel good animes. gen always makes me so so happy and it always puts me in a good mood. v minimal sadness and v focussed on the character's growth and their relationships with each other. underlying themes of overcoming stuff and becoming a better version of yourself etc. and it focusses on other teams as well, not just the main team. i love love hq with my whole soul and it'll always be so so special to me, i can't not recommend it like i could talk about it for hours

ATTACK ON TITAN (SHINGEKI NO KYOJIN)

notes: aot has one of the best, if not the best, written stories in media, like not just anime. i think it's the best written thing i've ever seen in my life. some things you don't even notice unless you rewatch and you realise how much of what happens later has been hinted at since the very beginning. it's insane how well written it is. gen such an incredible piece of media and no one who wants to get into anime can not watch it, i think it's a must. it was the first anime i ever watched and it just hooked me straight in.

DEMON SLAYER (KIMETSU NO YAIBA)

notes: i feel like i don't commonly see demon slayer be recommended to people despite it having such a good story, which is insane to me. a lot of people put emphasis on other shows for being heartbreaking / devastating but no one ever mentions demon slayer and it broke me honestly. it's just so devastating in so many moments but that's what makes it so good! you get to see different perspectives, including some from the demons and it explores people changing their opinions on things and how this organisation works and people's motivations, and ofc follows tanjiro on his journey to save his sister and turn her human again.

FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD

notes: oh fmab my beloved! it's focussed on two brothers trying to get their bodies back after they messed the up trying to bring their mother back from the dead (they're alchemists). they're v young and also in the army so it's super interesting seeing the missions they go on and the other people in the army they're close / not close with. the enemies are also v well thought out and idk everything in this show is just done so well which shows why it's so highly rated on imdb and myanimelist. it also has such a good ending which is so rare with shonen like i do think hq and fmab are the exceptions to that lmao

HUNTER X HUNTER

notes: hxh is so good???? yes, it's kinda long but all the arcs are so different it's worth it. the way u get to see gon and killua grow so much from the beginning and how their friendship evolves and the skills they learn and the people they meet is so cool. the show is pretty lighthearted in the first few arcs but it gets darker the further you progress and it all comes to a head in the chimera ants arc. greed island is my absolute fave arc i just adore it sm u get to see killugon flourish! they have one of the best, if not the best, friendships in anime

BLACK CLOVER

notes: i gen never see anyone rec black clover except one friend who told me it was good and i gave it a shot. when i tell you i was hooked so fast???? yeah it's kind of a typical mc has no powers type plot but the found family is INSANE! the black bulls have such a strong bond and they're all outcasts who found each other after yami recruited them it's so cute. they also all develop and grow into their powers and grow stronger as the series develops and it's so cool seeing all the magic knight squads and the arcs are so good. so many arcs so much cool stuff and it's not even finished yet. the found family got me hooked and now im stuck here forever

FRIEREN: BEYOND JOURNEYS END (SOUSOU NO FRIEREN)

notes: one of the prettiest animes i've seen. the music and vibes really remind me of lord of the rings (one of my alltime fave movies ever). it feels so beautiful and fantasy-esque. also it gets quite sad when u think about it but somehow also maintains this really lighthearted whimsical vibe. it's so cool seeing frieren's journey with fern and stark and at the same time getting flashbacks from her original journey with himmel, heiter and eisen even though it was a long time ago but we still learn more about them. v cosy anime.

notes: bllk is the anime i've recommended the most to people i think. smthn about the vibe in s1 (s2 wasn't out atp) hooked me and then i went and read the manga and just fell more in love with it. idk maybe it was bc it's so crazy seeing an mc like isagi bc it isn't very common to see someone push for working alone and not in a team. maybe it was the bond and relationship he has with his teammates and friends and rivals but it just got me and i've recommended it to so many people and gotten so many people to watch it lol

FRUITS BASKET

notes: fruba is prob the only shojo on this list even tho i've watched other shojo's. fruba just hit the hardest. it's got elements of fantasy in it and really goes into exploring the backstories of so many characters, not just the main ones, and you learn about them and why they are the way that they are. it's so cool bc it's a story about not only romance, but healing and saving people and friendship! so much friendship! the mc, tohru, is one of the sweetest girls ever i adore her.

KAIJU NO 8

notes: kaiju no 8 reminds me of attack on titan a lot: the whole becoming a kaiju thing and also wanting to protect the people around him plus building bonds w the people in the defense force with him and being surrounded by strong people. the character designs are also so cool and the kaiju are so interesting. also super refreshing to see an mc in his 30s bc i feel like that's not very common but it's cool bc he's like everyone's dad and OFC FOUND FAMILY yk the drill it's like my fave trope ever you'll see it's a common theme

WINDBREAKER

notes: i actually have two posts on windbreaker, u can read pt 1 here and pt 2 here! anyways yk the drill: found family. that's out the way now, let's talk about our mc. his name is sakura haruka and he's super strong and ofc he's been thru shit. he doesn't take affection v easily and people being nice to him makes him flustered so he's shy and blushes a lot bc he's not used to it. it's cool seeing people supporting him and his friends being there for each other and how they protect the town and all the enemies or enemies turned friends. it's cool seeing all the kids help each other idk. i've seen it be compared to tokrev a lot but i really don't see the comparison lol

YURI!!! ON ICE

notes: you're prob noticing a theme with the sports animes but what can i say, a girl needs a break from the sadness shonen hits u with lol. okay! yoi is so good; first of all animation, it's mappa so ofc it's good come on now, they've done aot (s4 onwards), jjk, csm and hells and bf. this anime got me so interested in figure skating like it's gen so cool seeing all the routines people come up with and how it goes from a mess of a routine at the start of the season to the end! also super inspiring seeing a character like yuuri who struggles with anxiety bc it makes it feel more real to see a fictional character go thru that like yk he still goes out there and skates despite it all idk it's cool

notes: the best way to describe link click is mindfuck. it's INSANE. so much happens and stuff links back to other things in ways i didn't even think was possible. it's abt these two guys and one of them can go into photographs into the body of the person who took the photo and they use this to solve people's questions and find stuff etc and ofc it evolves into more serious issues but it's just super cool. so well written and incredible animation as well. idk if it classifies as anime bc it's in chinese but i couldn't Not put it here it's just too good

THE ELUSIVE SAMURAI

notes: i finished this kinda recently bc the episodes were just airing but it's so good! the animation is insane and again, found family!!!!! they're just a bunch of kids and the mc is the son of the shogun who is super good at being elusive and running away and the others are his retainers, or his most trusted guards. they're all kids but they're so talented and he's gathering more and more supporters to his cause and it's so cool seeing how they overcome their obstacles like enemies bigger and stronger than them but they still push thru to try and get his kingdom back

VIOLET EVERGARDEN

13 eps + 1 movie (movie sucks ass tho don't watch it)

genres: coming of age, steampunk

notes: so beautifully animated it's insane. every episode is done so wonderfully and it makes me so emotional. i think i cried watching every episode. it's about this young girl named violet and she's been a child soldier for most of her life but then someone close to her dies and tells her "i love you" right before he dies so she goes on a journey to find out out what love is basically and just meets so many people on her journey. it's really sweet.

AKAME GA KILL

notes: without saying too much and spoiling it, this is one of the most unexpected animes i've ever seen. there's a group of people who are all v strong and talented and they're classed as criminals. i don't remember everything that happened bc it's been years since i watched it but i remember it being so good and being unable to predict anything that happened bc it all came out of nowhere. all i can say is, don't forget who the series is named after (akame).

HIGH CARD

notes: high card reminds me of kingsman a lot and that's a good thing. it's such a cool concept to give different playing cards different abilities and people who have those cards get those powers. plus the fact that they're an organisation masquerading as a normal business makes it cooler (this plus them dressing all formally is what reminds me of kingsman)

TRIGUN STAMPEDE

notes: maybe some of the best animation i've seen in a series. vash and nai are so tragic i can't stop thinking about them even after it's been ages since i finished the anime and the other characters are so cool??? i love how vash has a skewed sense of like morality if that makes sense bc he wants to not hurt anyone but that in turn hurts people and it's just cool and nai is also so interesting. i don't want to spoil anything but the designs and everything are so on point AND THE MUSIC IS AMAZING! i haven't even talked about wolfwood but we'll be here all day if i start he's awesome

HELLS PARADISE

notes: hells is considered one of the dark trio with chainsaw man and jujutsu kaisen but i don't see as many people talk about it as they do with the other two which is such a shame bc it's so good. there's bits that fuck with you so much like i was convinced i was being gaslit at one point but it's just so good and the worldbuilding and fantasy elements on the island are so insane and well done. the mix of characters is also so cool bc there's so many different ones with different motives and they gotta work together it's just cool

SK8 THE INFINITY

notes: sk8 is incredible like idk how in 12 eps they managed to make me like so many characters including all the side ones like cherry, joe and miya but also introduce a villain and a conflict, make a fight and resolve it all and we even get a beach episode! the underlying yaoi makes it even better like that scene with langa and his mother and the "reki my love... for skateboarding" like they knew what they were doing. anyways incredible character building esp on reki's part. i love seeing how down he gets bc he's more relatable that way yk like he's the sunshine character who's outwardly so happy but he gets so self conscious as well idk i see myself in him a lot i love reki

notes: last sports anime i promise. free is prob the most emotional of all the sports animes i've seen and it's not even that bad. can i entice u with the one bed trope bc they fully did that in the show w 2 of the male characters. anyways it's a swimming anime and the mc is haru who loves the water and he only swims freestyle. he has a group of friends (one of them being his childhood bestie) and it all starts when his old friend comes back from school abroad and he's different. i love free a lot i feel like it's very realistic too

61. If you got into a physical fight, who would win? Would you let them win? in terms of playfighting, eren would win no problem... i'm simply a tiny person. eren is taller than me by a literal foot, not to mention all the working out he does. but i like to imagine he'd let me win sometimes <3

62. When you upset each other, how do you make up for things?

after an argument, we exchange lots of reaffirming words, kind touches, and... weed, most of the time. :p

63. Do you take care of each other when you're sick? Who's an absolute mess when they're sick?

when eren gets sick, he gets sick. he's always trying to be active while sick, insisting that he's fine. so i have to take extra care of him, reminding him not to strain himself. and of course i make him some soup hehe

64. How are you when travelling together? It can be in general or to a specific place. in general, i do not do so well in public, tbh. eren knows this, and does what he can to make me comfortable. if he notices i'm starting to break down, he's willing to pull me aside to a quieter spot so we can just enjoy each other's company and relax.

65. You run into your ex/their ex while you're out - how do you react?

if the ex was bad, we'd both react pretty similarly... but eren takes action a lot more than i do lol

66. If either of you got into any serious trouble, would you bail each other out? In what conditions? lol the previous question was a nice precursor! eren gets in trouble a lot. he's almost gotten arrested a few times but he's always able to get out of it somehow? but if he did get arrested, i would be pretty upset, yet still bail him out. i think we both would bail each other out unless either one of us did something completely horrendous.

67. Could you start a musical act together? How good are your musical skills?

eren definitely could!!! i don't have a single musical bone in my body, but eren is very familiar with guitars and instruments. in fact, he's so good, he can play almost any song on his guitar after listening to it only once or twice.

68. What Alternate Universes have you thought of for yourselves? Fantasy, royalty etc. seeing as how aot is an au in itself, i've spent a lot of time imagining an attack on titan/canon universe! in my au there's a LOT of convoluted and confusing lore, but essentially, my character is a soldier that ran away to a cabin outside of the walls once most of the titans were wiped out. (so around the end of s3)

in s4, they meet eren again after a few months of not seeing him, around the time eren escapes his cell after his attack on marley. i made a little comic regarding that.

69. How would you react if you swapped bodies? i'd instantly go into eren's titan form. i'm so curious what it's like to see the world from that perspective, to literally tower over everything. i want to feel like a dinosaur :D and eren's whole statement is redacted because it's not appropriate!

70. If the world fell into an apocalypse situation, would you stick with each other?

an apocalyptic situation would be difficult to live in, so i feel like we would rely and depend on each other more than ever before. we would hide out in houses for a few days at a time, then travel whenever it wasn't safe in our area anymore. constantly looking out for each other, constantly appreciating each other. it would be kind of romantic such in a dire situation.

Code Name: Megalodons the Unwanted Guardians of the Ocean

Object Class: Archon

Special Containment Procedures: Creatures of SCP-AID are to be avoided as much as possible by Foundation submarines and boats. They are also not to be attacked as doing so will place Site-AN at great risk. Any attempts to close the cave to SCP-AID will lead to the possible destruction of Site-AN and thus an XK Class End-of-the-World Scenario of unimaginable damage. As such the punishment for any attempt to do so will be the activation of Protocol “Legacy’s Downfall”.

Under no circumstances are any research or recovery drones allowed to be utilized within SCP-AID either. Any attempt to do so will lead to the demotion to D Class. There will be no exceptions. 

Description: SCP-AID is a hidden section below the mariana trench that extends an unknown length and to an unknown depth. Theoretically nothing should be able to survive however it is populated with a wide variety of thought to be extinct species as well as mutated creatures. Some creatures seem to resemble different evolutionary variants of Species of Interest: The Titans. Because Titans are normally found within SCP-ACS it is assumed that SCP-AID is possibly connected to SCP-ACS but due to the possibility of aggravating the creatures of SCP-AID there is no way to confirm this. 

The most common SCP-AID species that resides within are the megalodon giant sharks that grow anywhere between 60 to 100 feet large. Like normal sharks they are commonly docile and rarely if ever attack unless provoked or able to sense food nearby. Originally this was thought to the extent of SCP-AID’s anomalous properties, however observations of megalodons encountering SCP-AMZ instances have shown otherwise. SCP-AID have no anomalous abilities that make them stronger or better than normal sharks other than their size. Instead what makes them dangerous is their immunity to anomalous infection and effects. 

Normally SCP-AMZ instances are able to spread SCP-ANE infection to any and all living organisms. However, the megalogons do not get infected no matter how much the SCP-AMZ instances stab or bite them. In fact, megalodons can eat hundreds of SCP-AMZ instances and be perfectly fine. Other species within SCP-AID have been observed to be able to resist SCP-ANE infection as well, how this is possible is unknown though it is hypothesized to be thanks to the Gaia Radiation from SCP-ACS. Again, there is unfortunately nothing to confirm how true this is.

SCP-AID was discovered in 1940 after it was revealed that there were SCP-AMZ instances living and growing within the mariana trench. Site-AN was quickly created to be a defensive and research site for world ending threats like SCP-AMZ and SCP-[data expunged]. However, after the completion of Site-AN, SCP-AID revealed itself as the megalodons devoured a majority of the SCP-AMZ population. As such occasionally they are regarded as defenders of Site-AN. However, a majority of the species were discovered to be extremely territorial and hate contact with the Foundation. All of this has led to SCP-AID being labeled as Object Class Archon, as it is safer to leave it alone than to contain it.

Update 2018 - a single megalodon escaped SCP-AID and tried to attack a beach on the coast of [data expunged]. Shockingly Group of Interest: the Shark Punching Center teleported into our reality within a submarine. After firing Anti-Selachian Death Punch Torpedoes the megalodon was destroyed and its body parts were later eaten by regular sharks. The SPC force tried to punch them as well, but a Foundation submarine intercepted them and threatened them to leave. The cover story was that a whale corpse exploded before it could reach the beach. 

Later an SPC representative entered Site-[data expunged] with a desire to talk about the incident. MTF High Commander Riker happened to be at the Site and agreed to the interview, please see Addendum X-63 for details.

SPC Representative Striker: So, this is the SCP Foundation, you guys really don’t do much when it comes to decorations huh? I mean where is the wall paint? Where’s the aquariums? Where’s the friendly receptionist? And where’s the fighting rings and training centers? How are you supposed to get new recruits if you're not presenting a welcoming face?

MTF High Commander Riker: We don’t recruit openly, people in this world don’t know about anomalies-

SPC Representative Striker: Deviants.

MTF High Commander Riker: ANOMALIES… and we intend to keep it that way.

SPC Representative Striker: Alright fine, I’m just saying, sharks are the only hostile deviants we have to deal with, yet you guys have… screaming naked men that kill all in their path, statues that look like peanuts who strangle you to death, and giant shape shifting lizards! I mean we got one too, but we just killed it while you guys are keeping it around. 

MTF High Commander Riker: He has more uses alive, not that it’s any of your business. Speaking of business, how about we get to it, what the hell do you want?

SPC Representative Striker: Tch, always straight to business huh? Alright, alright, we uh… we just wanted to apologize.

MTF High Commander Riker: … Pardon?

SPC Representative Striker: Look we’ve been using your reality as a means to improve and test out our SPC’s to better punch down the shark threat. But we understand that you want to study deviants not punch them or weaponize them like we do. I mean it would do you some good, but I get that you don’t want to.

MTF High Commander Riker: We weaponize some anomalies, but we only do so for the ones that can be weaponized. We don’t just ask them all to punch sharks because we feel like it.

SPC Representative Striker: Oh seriously? Cool, well anyways we’ve been doing what we want with your reality, and we understand it’s kinda pissed you guys off.

MTF High Commander Riker: Kinda, is far too weak of a word.

SPC Representative Striker: … Ahem, right so anyways we wanted to both apologize and get a meeting together between ORACLE and your O5 Council.

MTF High Commander Riker: … why?

SPC Representative Striker: So, we can make the deal official! So, we can enter your reality more often and take care of your shark problem while you focus on other stuff. I mean, lord knows you guys need it.

MTF High Commander Riker: Not an excuse, a fact. It would be an excuse if I actually cared about what civilians think about me, which I don’t. Humans are animals, they should consider themselves lucky organizations like the Foundation give a fuck about them.

1. how many works do you have on ao3?

2. what's your total ao3 word count?

AO3 informs me it's 244,098, which feels like SO much and yet almost nothing based on the time I have theoretically been writing.

3. what fandoms do you write for?

Gonna call out ones where I've written more than a single fic and where I feel it is at least somewhat likely I'll return and write more: Animorphs, Naruto, Blade of the Immortal, and Shingeki no Kyojin, but there's loads of one-offs and smaller fandoms there too. I'd like to write more Gravity Falls, as well.

4. what are your top five fics by kudos?

With All Brightness (Lilo & Stitch), The Girl In The Water (Spirited Away), beauty, her artificers (Greek mythology), I've got Four Voices on the Line (the only one I hear is mine) (Animorphs), and love what you see in the mirror (TWEWY). Perhaps significantly, four of these were written for Yuletide, and one was written as a new year's resolution treat, so also for Yuletide.

5. do you respond to comments?

Yes, I try to.

6. what's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Ummm. Hmm. One of my friends once told me my fics were "gloomy" but I have a hard time calling out the angstiest ending. 😂Maybe it's Preludes (Naruto), a Kakuzu/Madara fic with Hashirama dying nearby? Or maybe it's On Moths (BOTI), a fic about Makie dying of tuberculosis back when it seemed like that might happen.

7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

With All Brightness (Lilo & Stitch) is so fluffy I think it has to be it.

8. do you get hate on fics?

I never have! Touch wood

9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?

Yes! I write the kind that feels right for the characters to me. I like smut as character study and I like insane mindfucks and fucking as another manifestation of a battle of wills between characters.

10. do you write crossovers? what’s the craziest one you've written?

Like, a little drabble of one back in high school, Invader Zim/Kingdom Hearts lol. I really respect authors who can do a compelling crossover, but I don't feel like I'm that good tbh! Crossovers I want: Machineries of Empire/She-Ra (I need to see Kujen and Horde Prime go toe to toe), Gravity Falls/Attack on Titan (Hange and Bill Cipher being buds), Revolutionary Girl Utena/Narnia (ANTHY IN NARNIA. THE PROBLEM OF ANTHY)

11. have you ever had a fic stolen?

I had a fic's framing device lifted! It was like. Not a songfic but a poem fic. It was that Monday's Child poem, and I had a line of the poem and then a short bit of writing after each line. Someone commented telling me they liked the Batman version more (lol), when I knew mine had come first based on publication dates. It was weird but I was a lot younger at the time and didn't really know what to say.

Yes, with an ex-friend.

14. what's your all-time favorite ship?

Hmmmm I don't have an all-time favorite! I'm not so much about the shipping, though I enjoy shipfic.

15. what's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

All my currently-in-progress fics are oneshots. The WIPs that are unfinished, I know I'll never finish lolol

16. what are your writing strengths?

Uhh... (digs toe in the ground) character voice and tone? I feel like I don't know my own strengths lol. I used to get praised for beautiful imagery and having a "simple" style (though people would say this and then hastily clarify that they meant it in a good way, which tickled me) but not for a while.

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

I wish I was better at snappy dialogue and twisty plot, I really admire authors who are great with plot and can write things that give the feeling of like... things going wrong in a way that makes sense, characters dealing with that in a way that makes sense? Hmm.

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I think it can be handled very well or very poorly. I don't know if I myself ever would if canon didn't model doing it, or if I couldn't find someone fluent in the language to check that I wasn't butchering it.

Hmm. Hard to pick just one, but here are some both old and recent that I especially like:

quelled and quenched in leaves (Stardew Valley) - a spooky fic I had a blast working on, very well received.

🐻🌠👋🗻FRIENDS🍦💎🔪🏄LEND💞🦆🕵️😲A👊👌🤟🙌HAND🤝🧙🔎💖 (Gravity Falls) - a doofy Gravity Falls casefic centered around some pretty rare characters. I jammed as many puns and gags into this as I could and tried some new things in general while I worked on it, and I'm still proud.

Chimera (Gemini) - exchange fic written for an obscure movie, another stretch in genre and tone that I still am proud of.

A Season Under the Kandrona (Animorphs) - fic about Aldrea and her family on an alien world. I just... love Animorphs so much

long still sea (Blade of the Immortal) - fix-it fic for the ending when I really needed that, written over the course of a single day in a borderline fugue state. I wish I could call on that productivity at will lmao

My health really got in the way this weekend, to the point I decided to put this off for tonight. As it was, things were going pretty smooth otherwise. So I felt like it made sense to just compile a lot of Cruel into a single log.

What's Working:

Jonathon is no liar! Cruel is going much more smoothly and quickly than Normal did. I'm easily clearing through content and bosses and I feel like I'm making quick progress towards endgame. I'm also still having fun. And not only did I find I could often still play during my health issues, but I constantly want to play more. I'm easily finding this game more compelling than Elden Ring, and possibly more compelling than when Path of Exile first really got its hooks into me in Legacy League.

I also just wanted to shout out a cool thing I noticed today. While fighting in the Azok Bog, I noticed the enemies were lighting their weapons on fire to do more damage or enhance their attacks. This is doubly cool since it also adds a strategic element to the fighting. If you destroy burning structures, they can't light their weapons on fire.

What I'm Struggling With:

I'm still feeling the size of these zones the second time around. I honestly do think many of them are just too big. I don't know if you can easily fix this with your procedural generation engine, but I do think that they should be made a little smaller. I'm dreading if they get bigger than this in later acts or maps.

As the acts go on and higher tier mods drops, finding gear with really low rolls or getting low tier mods from crafting is becoming more common and persistent. This is one of the reasons I hate drops in PoE1. I feel like if I drop a level 86 item or craft on one, I shouldn't feel like I'm far more likely to get a garbage roll than a good one. If drops and crafting are going to be meaningful, I have to feel like there's a point to picking up items besides, “If I don't get anything good I can sell it for gold to buy another piece of trash or disenchant it to get 1/10 of a Regal that will give me a garbage mod.”

I'm still actively crafting, but I just scrapped another project I'd put Exalts into today. Please make these systems feel rewarding.

On another note, I still can't figure out how the King in the Mists' thorn trap works.

What's Not Working:

The game obviously still needs a lot of polish. There are little bugs everywhere that need to be hunted down. I also found another quest dialogue and timing issue if you enter the Freythorn before finding the Ritual in the Hunting Grounds. Again, I'm reporting everything I find.

Zalmarath was particularly bad this time around. At one point I ended up on his head.

Hammer of the Gods seems to have some issues too. This is another one where X-Input seems to need a lot of help.
