I want Hanni and Danielle to go on a nature walk in Australia and look for various Huntsman spiders, the Sydney funnel web, the peacock jumping spider, and show us Eucalyptus trees (to name a few). Bonus for kangaroos and koalas! Bonus if the other girls join. Who do you think will be less afraid of the creepy crawlies? 😂
Just imagine Hanni or Danielle like:
This video made me have this thought. 😆

DETAILS ABOUT SOME OF MY DC DR'S ! ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡
Hi luvs! I'll admit I've started writing more DC scripts even though I will only be talking about 3. Initially, I had 3 Batfamily DRs, but I added 2 more, so now there are 5. I still have just 1 Teen Titans DR and 1 Young Justice DR, but I also made another DC script with Wonder Woman as my amazing mama, bringing the total to 8. Does that make sense? LMFAO MOVING ON! I Hope you enjoy this post!
⋆⛧┈┈┈┈﹤୨♡୧﹥ ┈┈┈┈⛧⋆
FIRST BATFAMILY DR ♡ //
OKAY, so I already briefly mentioned this in my other post, BUT in this DR (Desired Reality), I’m a vigilante being raised by my aunt. My parents, who were brilliant and successful scientists, tragically passed away in a lab explosion caused by an experiment gone wrong. They had been working on a groundbreaking (and dangerous) project, and their deaths were tied to its failure.
My aunt, who wasn’t particularly close with my parents, became my guardian because she was my only living family member and didn’t want me to end up in the foster system or an orphanage—she knew how tough those places could be. She’s an incredible person: highly skilled in martial arts, hacking, and technology. She also has a long-standing connection with Bruce Wayne (Batman). They became friends when she attended university in Gotham at 18, where she met him. She lived in Gotham until she turned 29, then moved to the outskirts of Alaska for a quieter life but stayed in contact with him. She even helped him track down villains in her spare time.
Growing up in Alaska, my aunt trained me rigorously in 10 different martial arts styles, starting when I was very young. She wanted to ensure I could protect myself. However, when I turned 15, everything changed.
I was bitten by a genetically modified, radioactive hybrid creature—a bizarre fusion of traits from various insects, animals, and plants. This hybrid wasn’t from our universe; it came from an alternate dimension. It originated from a different version of Lex Luthor, who had created the hybrid as part of an experiment to grant himself immense power by being bitten by it. However, during a test run, his device malfunctioned, creating a ripple across multiple universes. This accident transported objects and beings from his dimension into our main DC Universe—including the hybrid creature and Lex himself.
Unluckily for me, the hybrid creature bit me instead of him, granting me powers and putting a huge target on my back. Once Lex and his allies—the other beings brought into this universe—realized I had inherited the powers meant for him, they began hunting me down. This put both me and my aunt in immediate danger.
As their attacks intensified, my aunt made the difficult decision to send me to Gotham to stay with Bruce Wayne for protection. She couldn’t come with me because she needed to stay in Alaska to divert attention away from me and keep the threats occupied. She also wanted to use her hacking and tech skills to gather intel on the alternate Lex and his plans.
At the time, I was super confused—like, who even is Bruce Wayne, and why am I being sent to live with him of all people? Eventually, I found out his secret: he’s Batman!
For my DR self, I took inspiration from Peter Parker, Black Widow, and Miles Morales. With the powers I gained from the hybrid bite, I became a one-of-a-kind vigilante. The hybrid creature that bit me was a crazy combination of:
Scorpions
Deathstalker Scorpion (Leiurus quinquestriatus)
Indian Red Scorpion (Hottentotta tamulus)

Yellow Fat-tailed Scorpion (Androctonus australis)

yikes right? I know what you're thinking "how tf would you mix all that together to make a hybrid creature" well uhh idk ask lex luther ... (jk i haven't scripted the exact how but i dont gotta worry coz I'm not the one making it lex luther is, whatever my subconscious will take care of it!) it did give me a bunch of cool powers tho lol anyways, living in Gotham, I worked with Bruce and his allies to take down the beings and Lex from the alternate dimension. It was intense—fighting enemies who weren’t just physically powerful but also had technology and strategies far beyond anything we’d seen. Together, we managed to eliminate the threats one by one, ensuring Gotham (and my aunt) was safe again.
When the fight was over, I realized something important: Gotham felt like home. The city was chaotic, dangerous, and dark, but it was also full of people worth protecting. I decided to stay in Gotham, both to continue using my powers for good and to train further under Bruce’s guidance. My aunt supported my decision, knowing I’d found my place in the world.
Now, as a vigilante in Gotham, I use my unique abilities to take on its criminals and threats. Whether it’s dealing with supervillains or protecting innocent people, I’ve found my purpose in this city that never sleeps. PERIODDDDD.
BEING WONDER WOMANS DAUGHTER DR ♡ //
guys my writing here is a little corny and cheesy pls no judging like yes ik ik...
╰(‵□′)╯
Origins and Creation
I was created by Wonder Woman, sculpted from clay by my mother, Diana—the warrior of Themyscira and a beacon of strength, compassion, and justice. Diana sought to give me life in a way that honored both Amazonian traditions and her deep love for humanity. Blessed by the gods, I was infused with extraordinary gifts and destined to be a protector of the world.
While I was being formed, Ares, the God of War, struck with malicious intent. He viewed my creation as a threat to his dominion of chaos and conflict. Diana’s vision of peace and balance, embodied in me, was antithetical to everything Ares desired—a world consumed by war, ruled by the strong, and devoid of harmony. In an act of defiance and vengeance against my mother and the gods who opposed him, Ares cursed me before I could take my first breath.
A bolt of war energy, laced with fury and chaos, struck the clay, embedding a volatile force deep within my soul. This curse was designed to ensure that I would be a weapon of destruction, a pawn of war, and ultimately, a tool Ares could manipulate to spread his influence.
Gifts of the Gods
Despite Ares’ curse, I was still blessed by the gods, each granting me a piece of their power:
Zeus (King of the Gods): I inherited cosmic strength and the power to manipulate storms, granting me the ability to summon thunderstorms, control weather systems, and wield unmatched physical strength. However, this immense power came with the risk of destruction if I lost control.
Athena (Goddess of Wisdom and War): Athena blessed me with tactical genius and the ability to manifest divine weapons. My combat skills became unparalleled, and I gained the ability to analyze every possible outcome in a fight.
Artemis (Goddess of the Hunt): Artemis gifted me perfect precision, foresight in battle, and a connection to nature, allowing me to blend into shadows, anticipate attacks, and command the wild.
Hermes (God of Speed and Communication): Hermes granted me divine reflexes and the ability to manipulate time, enabling me to react faster than the eye could see and navigate complex situations effortlessly.
Aphrodite (Goddess of Love and Beauty): From Aphrodite, I gained the power to heal emotional and physical wounds and a charm that could influence even the most hardened hearts.
Hades (God of the Underworld): Hades bestowed upon me dominion over shadows and the ability to summon the souls of the dead to fight by my side. This power came with a moral weight, forcing me to tread carefully when wielding the forces of death.
These gifts made me a symbol of hope and strength, but Ares’ curse twisted them, amplifying my anger and bloodlust, constantly pulling me toward chaos.
The Curse’s Effects
As I grew, the curse began to manifest subtly. Though my mother taught me to channel my gifts for peace and justice, there was always a storm brewing beneath the surface—a simmering anger I struggled to control. At times, I felt like I was walking a razor’s edge, unsure if I was a protector or a weapon waiting to detonate.
Diana was devastated by Ares’ interference, but she refused to give up on me. She trained me rigorously in combat, strategy, and diplomacy, teaching me not only how to fight but also how to lead with compassion and integrity. My mother believed that my strength lay in resisting the rage within me, using it to protect rather than destroy.
The Awakening of the Curse (Age 15)
On my fifteenth birthday, the curse fully awakened. A sudden surge of anger erupted during a sparring session on Themyscira, and I lost control. A bolt of lightning tore through the sky as my emotions triggered an uncontrollable storm. My strength, amplified by the curse, became a destructive force, and I nearly injured those closest to me.
It was then I realized that the curse wasn’t just a mark of Ares’ malice—it was his way of testing me. The more I resisted, the stronger the pull toward chaos became. This realization terrified me. What if I couldn’t control it? What if I became what Ares wanted me to be—a harbinger of war and destruction?
Ares’ Motivation
Ares’ interference wasn’t just an act of spite. It was calculated. He believed that by corrupting me, he could turn the gods’ blessings into instruments of war, using my powers to shatter the fragile peace my mother fought to protect. He wanted to mold me into his champion—a warrior who could rival even Wonder Woman herself, but loyal only to him.
For Ares, I represented a paradox: the potential for ultimate destruction or the greatest resistance to his reign. By cursing me, he aimed to tilt the scales in his favor, ensuring that the legacy of peace my mother envisioned would never come to fruition.
Ares’ Confrontation (Age 16)
At sixteen, Ares appeared to me for the first time. He offered me control over my rage, promising unimaginable power if I embraced my destiny as his champion. He painted himself as a misunderstood force of nature, arguing that war wasn’t inherently evil but the only true path to strength and freedom.
For a moment, I wavered. The temptation was overwhelming. But my mother’s teachings and unwavering belief in me pulled me back. I rejected Ares’ offer, vowing to fight his influence no matter how powerful he was.
Enraged by my defiance, Ares swore that he would break me, promising to return when I was at my weakest. His presence was a chilling reminder that the battle for my soul was far from over.
The Ongoing Struggle
Every day since, I’ve walked the line between chaos and control. The curse remains a constant shadow, but so does my mother’s guidance. She reminds me that true strength isn’t about overwhelming power—it’s about using that power to protect and uplift others.
I’ve learned to channel my rage into focus, turning the chaos within me into a force for good. The struggle is far from over, but I’m determined to prove that Ares doesn’t define me. My destiny is my own, and with my mother by my side, I’ll continue to fight for a world where peace can prevail—even if it means facing the storm inside me every single day.
(IM SUCH A MAMAS GIRLLL STOP I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET DIANA SHES SO MOTHERRR I LOVE HER)
YOUNG JUSTICE DR ♡ //
OKAY OMG im really excited for this one yall! (acting like im not equally excited for the others lol dont mind me) my inspirations when writing my dr self was wanda maximoff (wifey fr), jean grey, my queen and mother (in this dr too MUAHAHAHA) wonder woman!! GUYS WAIT ALSO i know the start is similar to the top one (AND THIS IS ALSO CORNY ASF) but it gets different towards the end tho trust me!!!! >:(
Origins and Creation
I was created by Wonder Woman, sculpted from clay on the shores of Themyscira, a land where strength, wisdom, and love reign supreme. My mother, Diana, sought to create me as a symbol of hope and balance for a world fraught with chaos. She petitioned the gods to breathe life into me, and they blessed me with their divine gifts, imbuing me with extraordinary power and potential.
But it wasn’t just the gods who noticed my creation. In an unexpected twist of fate, the cosmic Phoenix Force—a primordial entity of rebirth and destruction—was drawn to the spark of life within me. The Phoenix, recognizing my untapped potential, merged a fragment of its essence with my being, granting me unparalleled cosmic abilities.
As if the blessings of the gods and the touch of the Phoenix Force weren’t enough, a surge of Chaos Magic intertwined with my soul. The magic, wild and unpredictable, was not the result of a curse but a mysterious gift bestowed by unknown forces. It made me a conduit of untamed potential, an enigma even to the gods who had helped shape me.
Blessings of the Gods and Goddesses
Each deity granted me a piece of their strength, wisdom, or grace:
Zeus (King of the Gods): Zeus granted me the power of storm manipulation and divine strength. I could summon lightning, create hurricanes, and command the skies with ease. His blessing made me a force of nature, capable of shaping the heavens themselves.
Athena (Goddess of Wisdom and War): Athena bestowed upon me unparalleled intelligence and foresight. I became a master strategist, able to see through deception and outthink my enemies before they even acted.
Artemis (Goddess of the Hunt): From Artemis, I gained an unbreakable bond with nature. Her gift gave me supernatural agility, precision, and an uncanny ability to track and anticipate movement, no matter how subtle.
Hermes (God of Speed and Communication): Hermes’ blessing gifted me with superhuman speed and the ability to travel between realms. With a thought, I could move faster than the eye could see and traverse dimensions with ease.
Aphrodite (Goddess of Love and Beauty): Aphrodite granted me the power of emotional healing and a radiant aura that inspired hope and unity. Her blessing allowed me to calm even the most turbulent hearts.
Hestia (Goddess of the Hearth): Hestia gifted me with the power of fire manipulation, specifically tied to protection and sanctuary. I could summon flames to shield myself and others, creating impenetrable barriers of warmth and light.
Hades (God of the Underworld): Hades gave me dominion over shadows and the ability to commune with spirits. I could summon phantoms to guide or defend me, but only when my intentions were pure.
The Phoenix Force
The Phoenix Force, drawn to the spark of my creation, merged a fragment of its essence with my soul. It gave me cosmic energy manipulation, allowing me to harness raw power capable of creating or destroying entire realities. With this gift came the ability of rebirth, granting me near-immortality and the power to rise stronger from every defeat.
The Phoenix Force also awakened a cosmic awareness within me, letting me see the threads of life and energy that connected all things. However, this connection came at a price—the risk of losing control if I let the power consume me.
Chaos Magic
Chaos Magic flowed through me like an unpredictable current, amplifying all my other powers and allowing me to warp reality itself. I could bend the laws of physics, manipulate probabilities, and reshape the very fabric of existence. But Chaos Magic was as dangerous as it was powerful—it demanded mastery and restraint, for its influence could easily spiral out of control.
This magic made me a nexus of possibility and uncertainty, a being who could defy even the gods' will if I chose.
The Trials of Power
Growing up, my powers were both a blessing and a burden. My mother taught me discipline, balance, and the importance of humility. She guided me through rigorous training, not just in combat but in understanding the weight of my abilities.
At times, I felt overwhelmed. The Phoenix Force burned within me, urging me to transcend the boundaries of my mortal form. The Chaos Magic crackled unpredictably, threatening to tear through reality if I didn’t keep it in check. Even the gods’ blessings occasionally clashed, creating moments of inner turmoil.
But through it all, my mother stood by me. Diana reminded me that strength wasn’t just about power—it was about control, compassion, and the courage to do what was right, even when it was difficult.
Joining Young Justice: My Story
By the time I turned 15, life on Themyscira felt... too serene. Don’t get me wrong—I loved the island, the sisters who raised me, and, of course, my mother, Diana. But there was always this feeling deep inside me, like a storm brewing beneath calm waters. I knew my gifts weren’t meant to stay confined to our shores. I was meant to do something more, something that mattered beyond the safety of paradise.
The turning point came when I joined my mother on a mission with the Justice League. It was supposed to be a simple diplomatic endeavor—convincing world leaders to work together in the wake of rising tensions. Of course, things didn’t go as planned. A rogue faction threatened to level the city, and the League stepped in to stop them. I wasn’t meant to fight, but when the chaos escalated, I couldn’t stand by.
The First Step
I remember the moment like it was yesterday. Buildings were collapsing, people screaming, and the air thick with smoke. My mother told me to stay back, but something inside me refused. The Phoenix Force burned bright within me, and the Chaos Magic surged, itching to be unleashed. Before I knew it, I was in the thick of the battle, shielding civilians, pulling people from rubble, and using my powers to stabilize collapsing structures.
The Justice League noticed. Batman gave me that sharp, scrutinizing look of his; Superman smiled with approval. But it was Kaldur—Aqualad—who approached me afterward.
“You have a gift,” he said. “But gifts like yours need guidance and focus. Have you ever considered joining a team?”
At first, I hesitated. “I’m not sure I belong on a team."
“We all are,” he replied. “But Young Justice could use someone like you.”
Why I Said Yes
The idea stuck with me for days. My mother wasn’t thrilled about it. She worried about the dangers, about how my powers—especially the Phoenix Force—might overwhelm me in high-stakes situations. But she also saw the fire in me, the need to step into the world and make a difference.
“You’re my daughter, Astraea,” she said, placing her hands on my shoulders. “And I see so much of myself in you. But remember, with power like yours comes responsibility. If this is what you want, I’ll support you—but promise me you’ll stay true to who you are.”
I promised.
Joining Young Justice
When I first walked into the team’s headquarters, I was nervous. These were the protégés of legends—Robin, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Superboy, and the others. But they weren’t what I expected. They were flawed, funny, and just as unsure of themselves as I was.
The first few missions weren’t easy. I had to learn to work as part of a team, to trust others with their strengths while managing the chaos inside me. The Phoenix Force was a blessing and a curse; its overwhelming power made me a powerhouse in battle, but it also drew attention—from enemies who wanted to harness it and from my teammates, who sometimes looked at me with fear.
It was Miss Martian who helped me the most. She understood what it meant to carry immense power and to fear losing control. Through her guidance, I learned to balance the Phoenix Force with the divine gifts from the gods and the unpredictable nature of Chaos Magic.
My Mission
I am a child of gods, cosmic forces, and wild magic, but more importantly, I am my mother’s daughter. Diana created me to be a protector, a beacon of hope, and a bridge between worlds. I carry the wisdom of the gods, the fire of the Phoenix, and the untamed potential of Chaos Magic.
My mission is to use my gifts to bring balance to a fractured world, to heal its wounds, and to protect those who cannot protect themselves. The path ahead is fraught with challenges, and the temptation to lose myself in the chaos is ever-present.
But I will not falter. I am not just a vessel for power—I am the wielder. And no force, no matter how wild or destructive, will define me.
EEEEKKK HOPE YOU ENJOYED MY NOT SO LITTLE RANT ABOUT SOME OF MY DC DRS !! and again yes i know some parts are corny and cheesy BUT WHOO CARESSS HAVE FUN JESUS ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ ALSO IF YOU'RE ALSO A DC SHIFTER PLS TELL ME I WANNA BE FRIENDSSS GOD PLSSS

can i get some spiders that DO have very strong venom? not because i want one to be mean to but because i think spiders are really cool!!
Spiders ARE really cool.
The Sydney funnel-web spider (Atrax robustus- found only near Sydney, Australia), and Brazilian wandering spiders (genus Phoneutria - found throughout Central and South America) are, as I understand it, considered the most deadly in the world.
But both of them only have something like 13-15 recorded deaths attributed to them from around the beginning of the 1900s until antivenoms were created for them in the 80s and 90s respectively, so it's not like they're out there killing people left and right.
By comparison and depending on the source, 0-1 deaths are attributed to the brown recluse in the United States. As for black widows, zero deaths have been reported since 1983, but it's hard to find reliable data from before that. Honestly it's hard to find reliable spider bite data at all because bites are often misattributed.
Either way, spiders in general are not nearly as deadly as people seem to think they are.
Let's admire a Sydney funnel-web spider!
What a kissable little face!
Ope maybe not :') Photos by thebeachcomber
And a Brazilian wandering spider, Phoneutria fera:
Cutie pie!!
Look they want to be picked up and kissed :) Just kidding that's a threat display and it means you better back up or you'll regret it.

I'm fighting for my life to make even just two more fakemon, so let me share some random ideas that popped into my head that anyone can take for themselves.
A couple abilities are either exclusive to mega pokemon or very rare outside of mega pokemon. Aerilate, Pixilate, Refrigerate, and Parental Bond come to mind. I think a pokemon that's not Mega Kangaskhan with Parental Bond would be fun. Would Population Bomb stack with it? That would be ridiculous.
Same goes with a lot of other signature abilities like Long Reach, Merciless, Dancer, and Triage. There is a whole laundry list of moves Triage would hypothetically affect which Comfey does not get access to. A pokemon with priority Leech Life would be amazing. Something based on hirudotherapy, probably.
The remaining unused type combos are normal/bug, normal/ice, normal/rock, normal/steel, fairy/ground, fairy/fire, ice/poison, bug/dragon, and rock/ghost. I was already working on having at least one of each when my health started to get in the way of creating art.
The German name for moles is maulwurf, and they are called moldwarps in Middle English. That's begging for a mole that mauls people, or a mole that's covered in mold and fungus.
The Sydney Funnel Web Spider's scientific name is Atrax robustus and it belongs to the family Atracidae. Those sound a lot like the word atrocity, so you could make an atrocious Atrax named Atraxity or Atrocidae or something along those lines.
A lot of invertebrates are unrepresented. Orthworm was our first and only annelid. There's an entire world of polychaete worms rich with inspiration. We also do not have a sea sponge or a water bear or a velvet worm.
That Twitter post that's been circulating about pineapple skin resisting a heated metal ball. Some sort of creature with pineapple armor that's immune to fire. A knight that fights dragons, perhaps.

A (Very) Brief Overview of The Spider Tree of Life
Let's start with the basics. All spiders fall into the following classification, from least to most specific:
Kingdom: Animalia (animals - cannot produce their own food, can move voluntarily, and are multicellular) Phylum: Arthropoda (animals with jointed exoskeletons made of chitin) Subphylum: Chelicerata (chelicerates - possess feeding appendages called chelicerae) Class: Arachnida (arachnids - eight legs with an additional pair of appendages, fused head and thorax, and several more unique traits) Order: Araneae (spiders - chelicerates that possess spinnerets for silk production, and have special male copulatory organs that we'll get into some other time)
Okay, so we've reached the clade that includes all spiders: Araneae. This is the order level. Just below order, spiders have a level called the suborder ("sub" meaning "under"). Here, spiders split into two suborders: Mesothelae and Opisthothelae.
Mesothelae is an incredible group of spiders with only a few extant (non-extinct) taxa. The defining characteristic of its members is an abdomen that's segmented by plates called tergites. This is a trait that was also present in the ancestors of spiders, so we may consider the Mesothelae to be "primitive" since they possess ancestral traits. All other spiders (the Opisthothelae) have abdomens that are fused into a single unit, which is the derived (non-ancestral) trait.

Okay, so now we know the two suborders of spiders: Mesothelae (the "primitive" segmented spiders) and Opisthothelae (the non-segmented spiders). But we're not done yet! Opisthothelae divides into two infraorders ("infra" meaning "below" or "further on"). These infraorders are Mygalomorphae and Araneomorphae.
Mygalomorphae shares some common features with the Mesothelae - namely downward-facing chelicerae (mouthparts) and two pairs of book lungs (meaning four total). The araneomorphs, however, lack these ancestral features, instead sporting chelicerae that move in from the sides (causing the fangs to appear horizontal or "cross-acting") and fewer book lungs (only one pair or even zero!). Most araneomorphs also have tracheal systems, not unlike insects and myriapods (though the spider tracheal system evolved independently!).
Left: Atrax robustus, a mygalomorph with downward-facing chelicerae (photo by Tirin). Right: Cheiracanthium punctorium, an araneomorph with cross-acting chelicerae (photo by Rainer Altenkamp).
Finally, within the infraorders Mygalomorphae and Araneomorphae exist a myriad of diverse spider families. Araneomorphae is by far the more speciose and diverse of the two, but they both have their own unique charms. As of April 2023, there are a whopping 132 spider families recognized!
Follow for future posts about the many different families of spiders!

Okay! My Spidersona OC comes from another Earth, Earth 2020-6-2 (This is a nod to when the game was released). They go by their call sign, Arachnis and they’re an agent working for a secret organization, The Valorant Protocol.
Their Earth is set in the near future somewhere in the 2030s - 2050s and houses an element called Radianite which is a power source used in almost everything and everywhere. There are others like Arachnis who are called Radiants which when exposed to a certain amount of Radianite, these people would develop remarkable powers (It’s basically explaining some of the game’s lore). That’s how the Valorant agent got their Radiant powers, not getting bit by a radioactive spider.
Arachnis has the usual abilities like the other Spiders. Sticking/climbing onto flat surfaces, Spider sense, faster healing factor, enhanced strength (while not using the full percentage), increased reflexes, etc. However, what sets them apart from the others is they also have fangs and are able to inject venom that is highly lethal that contains a neurotoxin called delta-hexatoxin. They’re based off of the infamous Sydney Funnel Web spider (Atrax robustus).
Their fighting style tends to be more aggressive when dealing with anomalies and luckily not eliminating them due to their line of work as a Valorant agent where they have no “No Killing Rule” like Miguel (O’Hara had to reprimand them for almost killing the anomalies). This, and some behavioral traits of the Funnel Web when feeling threatened/provoked. They also know how to operate guns and always carry their signature Karambit knife with them. Despite their work background and field history, they’re actually a chill person to hang with when not working on missions/training the Spiders at the Society.
They don’t wear the traditional tight suits like everyone else. They’re styled in battle gear based on Techwear fashion.

Arachnis also wear a customized mask covering half of their face where the fangs are and engineered to protect from hurting anyone due to prevent leftover venom from leaking everywhere. It also collects the said venom in a compartment of the mask where they can donate vials of the venom to non-profit medical organizations to create antivenom.
Oh yeah! They still have the standard web-shooters swing around when visiting their New York, capturing various anomalies and enemies from their home universe.

YO DAMN, THEY LOOK AND SOUND SO AWESOME !! ngl i think miguel would like having them on the team (save for the almost killing anomalies bit) bc they're a little closer in generation and their traits are a little similar, i noticed ! (the venom and fangs thing, they can relate to each other, i BET)

Spidecember day 20
Character: Frank
Series: Back to the Outback
Species: Australian funnel web spider (Unspecified Atracidae, Possibly Atrax robustus)
Anatomical accuracy: 7/10
Another mygalomorph.
"Back to the Outback" is a 2021 netflix exclusive movie following a group of some of the more dangerous Australian species escaping from captivity to live in the wild after they tire of being feared and hated by humans.
Frank is a funnel web spider, though I cannot find a source on which specific species he is. Though, given what I do know, I'd suspect he's meant to be the Sydney Funnel Web, due to their notoriety of being one of the deadliest species of spiders.
Indeed, robustus is rather dangerous to children, with one recorded fatality occuring within 15 minutes. Even to adults a bite is agonizing, though rarely antivenom is needed. Since 1981, there have been zero recorded deaths. Before this however, the recorded deaths are around...
thirteen within a nearly 50 year period.
I don't think that factoid helps with your sister's cynophobia.
The main reason bites happen is that during the mating season, males will wander around to find a female in her burrow. During this time, they're easier to encounter, which means more bites.
I bring up the mating season since the film is directly stated to take place during this time.
Oh yes.
Though I don't think funnel webs do such elaborate dances, that's more of a jumping spider thing. Funnel webs have simple eyesight, being a more subterranean species.
Speaking about his anatomy, Frank is... interesting. Color aside, he oddly enough has pedipalps, but is missing a set of legs. This is a stylization thing, as the other spiders we see also have 6 legs.
The other named Spider is Legs, a Redback spider.
Finally a specific Latrodectus species.
Frank and Legs both have human-ish mouths, though all the Redbacks are given fangs and the Funnel Webs have massive chelicerae, so its fine. Only two eyes per each, but eh. Its toony.
I do appreciate how the Redbacks are smoother than the funnelwebs. Mygalomorphs versus Araneomorphs.
FINAL RATING
His 6 legs and palps amuse me.
7/10

Coccinella Septempunctata
Maya- A red skinned tiefling with blazing orange eyes- slipped through the halls of the Easton police station, struggling to balance arms full of paperwork, a bag of cheap fast food, and her overflowing coffee mug. She barely managed to maneuver her arms just enough to sip at her coffee, coming to a stop at a door reading Detective Padison Clief. After a solid minute of struggling to open the door, she entered to the sight of the white tiger being startled awake at his desk.
“Hey Paddy.”
He blinked dumbly for a long moment before groaning and rubbing at his eyes- the vibrant green always seeming out of place above his deep eyebags. He yawned, paused, and sighed, “I told you not to call me that.”
The tiefling rolled her eyes, a smirk on her face as she closed the door behind her with a swish of the tail,”Mhm. Whatever. ‘Got ya somethin’.”
Padison stretched, tail swaying behind him. With a sigh he reached for his coffee to sip at it- the stiffness of his normal expression fading under the warmness of the brew, “Lunch?”
Maya let out a snort of a laugh, dark and harsh,”I wish,” She dropped the pile of paperwork on the desk to rifle through it, setting her mug down and holding her bag of food with her teeth until she found what she was looking for- holding up a thin, yellowed folder to hand to the man, “New file came in.”
A grimace spread across the tabaxi’s face, whiskers twitching,”Another one?”
“Pretty gruesome sight. More bugs.”
He traced his fingers over the cursive writing on the outside of the paper folder, Atrax Robustus: CONFIDENTIAL- ink smearing onto paw pads,”This is the third this month. How many more will there be?”
Maya nodded solemnly, pulling up a chair to her friend and partner’s desk to sit down and take her burger from the bag.
The detective flipped open the folder, moving through paperwork with tired eyes and an unphased expression at the sight of the gorey photographs, “Let me guess, more ‘magic’?”
“You’ve seen the photo,” She took a bite from her burger,”A knifghe canbt do thatd.”
“Swallow, you freak.”
She rolled her eyes and finished her bite,”A knife can’t do that- Victim was another magician, too,” She flared her hands for him dramatically, “The Magnificent Showman!”
Padison leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes as exhaustion settled in. This was a man who would stay up night after night to break a case, even if he made it seem he had not a single interest in helping anyone at any given time, “So we have a pattern and a madman with a gun. That’s not magic, just a lead to follow.”
Maya stood, waving her burger at him, “Padison, look.”
He raised a brow, “What?”
She took another bite, paused long enough to chew and swallow, and casually dropped the greasy item on his desk to make a point, “This is a killer on the loose, not a scientific debate. Trust me on this.”
He was silent for a long moment, emerald eyes glaring at her without a hint of backing down. His tail flicked aggressively against the ground, ears pinned back against his head and whiskers crooked. He crossed his arms, a deep hiss coming from him. And then he sighed deeply, tension easing from his tight muscles, “I don’t know shit about magic shows, Maya.”
“Then find a lead who does, jackass.”
Padison returned to his silence, looking down at the papers before him- eyebrows creased in tension. The only sound from him was the tapping of his fingers against the table.
“Don’t pout.”
“It’s called thinking,” He sighed, standing up, “I know, it’s hard for you.”
Maya choked on air, a blush heating her cheeks and causing her ears to flick in embarrassment, “Rude.”
“That’s my job,” He walked over to grab his coat and slipped it on, ear twitching,”Besides, I already said we had a lead.”
She paused before grabbing her coffee mug and nodding, “You did.”
He grinned, showing off his yellowed teeth, “Then trust me on this.”
Padison walked through the streets of Easton, fresh snow crunching under his pawed feet. January in the country of Krey was a vicious battle of snowstorms and blizzards- as any season was, really. It snowed fall through spring and rained all summer, making it a gloomy, miserable place to live.
The alley ways were lined with posters of the city’s grand attractions and famous magicians, ranging from Faye the Great to the now deceased Magnificent Showman. He caught himself reeling back his lips in a snarl at one of the egotistical, glamorous posters showing off the magician's talents. He was never a fan of the ridiculous belief that magic was real- just a bunch of party tricks is what it was.
In the distance was a large crowd, gathered around something in the middle of town square. Races of all sorts, people of all kinds. Laughing in wonder. Standing above everything atop the town square fountain was a dark skinned drow with short hair and a sparkly white dress that fit her curves oh-so-perfectly. She clapped twice before opening her palms to let dozens of shiny white doves fly from her gloved palms, receiving a roar from the crowd.
Padison hissed under his breath, ears pinned back as he shoved his way through the tightly-knit mess of people. He yelped as his tail was stepped on. Grunted as someone shoved into his ribcage. And finally he made his way to the front, clearing his throat loudly, “Miss Faye Sielle?”
The drow looked over with an amused expression, cocking a brow at his unimpressed tone.
He pulled out his badge, the shining gold glimmering in the afternoon light, “I’m Detective Padison from the Queen’s Royal Stand. Can I talk to you for a moment?”
She paused in confusion, colorless eyes glancing around at the murmuring crowd. It was a tense moment, Padison’s tail flicking in annoyance behind him. And then she grinned, tilting her head and putting a knuckle on her hip, “Don’t care for the show?”
“Not entirely, no.”
Faye paused for a long moment, genuine surprise on her face- before a giggle slipped through her lips, followed by a loud, genuine laugh at the poor man’s expense.
“What’s so-” He turned around to see the crowd of fans now turned to him, mixes of hurt and anger on their expression. He swallowed roughly, backing up until his ankles thunked against the fountain’s edge, “…funny…?”

Dangerous Spiders in the World
Source: timesofindia.indiatimes.com
Spiders are an extraordinary species in the entire animal and are known for their complex webs and unique behaviors. These spiders can bring fear into your mind because of their venomous nature. Though spiders can be harmless to humans there are a few species that possess which could cause critical harm. In the following article, we will uncover the most dangerous spiders in the world, and explore their habitats, venomous potency, and the risk they can pose.
1. Brazilian Wandering Spider (Phoneutria)
Features:
Venom: The venom contains neurotoxins that can cause intense pain, loss of muscle control, and in severe cases, respiratory failure.
Appearance: Brown body with distinctive black spots on its legs.
Behavior: Unlike most spiders that build webs, this species is a hunter that roams the forest floor in search of prey.
pictureinsect.com
Human Interaction:
Accidental encounters occur when these spiders take refuge in clothing or shoes. Immediate medical attention is crucial for bites, particularly in children and the elderly.
2. Sydney Funnel-Web Spider (Atrax robustus)
Features:
Venom: Venom targets the nervous system, leading to symptoms such as muscle spasms, elevated heart rate, and in extreme cases, death.
Appearance: Glossy black body with robust fangs.
Behavior: Found in moist habitats, it hides in burrows lined with silk.
dictionaryofsydney.org
Fun Fact:
Before the development of an antivenom in the 1980s, bites from this spider had a significant fatality rate. Today, fatalities are rare, but its reputation as one of the most dangerous spiders in the world remains unshaken.
3. Black Widow Spider (Latrodectus)
Features:
Venom: The venom contains a neurotoxin that causes muscle cramps, nausea, and severe pain. While bites are rarely fatal, they can be excruciating.
Appearance: Small, glossy black body with distinctive markings.
Behavior: Prefers dark, undisturbed places like basements and sheds.
inaturalist.org
Human Interaction:
Black widow bites are often accidental, occurring when humans disturb their habitats. Prompt medical treatment, including pain management and antivenom, can alleviate symptoms effectively.
4. Brown Recluse Spider (Loxosceles reclusa)
https://enterprisewired.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1.4-Brown-Recluse-Spider-Loxosceles-reclusa-Source-researchgate.net_.jpg
Features:
Venom: The venom contains enzymes that destroy cell membranes, leading to skin necrosis.
Appearance: Light brown body with a violin-shaped marking on its back.
Behavior: Found in secluded areas like attics, closets, and woodpiles.

Prevention Tips:
To avoid encounters, seal cracks in walls, keep storage areas tidy, and shake out clothing or shoes before wearing them.
6. Six-Eyed Sand Spider (Sicarius hahni)
Features:
Venom: Contains cytotoxins that cause severe skin and muscle tissue damage, potentially leading to organ failure.
Appearance: Flattened body with sand-like coloring, aiding camouflage.
Behavior: Burrows under sand and ambushes prey.
inaturalist.org
Fun Fact:
Despite its potent venom, there are few confirmed cases of human bites, earning it a mysterious yet deadly reputation.
7. Redback Spider (Latrodectus hasselti)
https://enterprisewired.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1.7-Redback-Spider-Latrodectus-hasselti-Source-australian.museum.jpg
Features:
Venom: Causes pain, sweating, nausea, and, in severe cases, seizures.
Appearance: Black body with a red stripe running down its back.
Behavior: Constructs tangled webs in dry, sheltered locations.

Medical Advances:
The introduction of antivenom has significantly reduced fatalities, but its bite still warrants respect and caution.
How to Stay Safe from the Dangerous Spiders in the World?
While encountering one of the most dangerous spiders in the world is rare, taking precautions can minimize risks:
Maintain Cleanliness: Regularly clean storage areas and basements where spiders may hide.
Seal Entry Points: Use weather stripping and caulk to prevent spiders from entering your home.
Wear Protective Gear: When working outdoors or in areas prone to spider activity, wear gloves and closed-toe shoes.
Educate Yourself: Learn about the spiders native to your region to identify and avoid potentially hazardous species.
Conclusion
These dangerous spiders in the world come under a small portion of the global spider population. These arachnids play a vital role in our ecosystem despite their fearsome reputation by controlling pest populations and contributing to biodiversity. We can coexist with these fascinating creatures in peace by understanding and studying their nature and habitats and ensure to reduce the risk they pose.
Knowledge can be our biggest weapon against fear. So whenever you come across a spider, appreciate it from a safe distance and respect their role in our ecosystem.

Hey!! I think I’ve seen a relative of your around recently their home was like a trapdoor. Do you have a big family? Or small one? (^-^)?
Oh! There are many Thraphosidae to go around! I'm guessing you perhaps live somewhere in Australia, yes? Or perhaps in a warmer country, outside of Europe? Trapdoor-spiders, like the atrax robustus for example, often live there! But those are also much more venomous and deadly than myself. Theyalso are quite vicious and aggressive, but not any less beautiful! So yes! I guess, that gives me a pretty large family! 🕷️❤️🥰😍😘☺️😉😌😁🥳🥹🥺✨👉🏻👈🏻
