The front will bring more rain and thunderstorms from the Great Lakes into Texas. Probably just gusty storms along the front and limited severe weather. TS Rafael is in the Caribbean and will move into the Gulf this weekend. Shear will probably weaken Rafael prior to nay landfall so heavy rains may be the main impacts.

I recommend rewatching Brothers Bloom with Rian Johnson's "in theater" commentary. He basically goes into all of the little details, motifs, symbols, and amazing things that he strung throughout the whole thing. As a film person, it's incredible.

Check out "The Primer Universe." It explains the film pretty well. Also Carruth has stated that an explanation for Granger isn't directly in the film - the general idea is that in some iteration of the timeline, either Abe or Aaron told him about it. He got out of it too early and thus created a paradox which is what caused the coma. The confusion over him is intentional because they have no idea how that happened, but that's the moment when they realize it's gotten out of control. Cheers :)

Thanks much for the clarification.  That's essentially what I've come to conclude about Granger, too (sometime around my third viewing, I realized that he must have changed something, and there was a timeline we didn't see.  Man, it's tough to follow that dialogue sometimes).  Before I understood what was going on, I assumed that the coma was a result of trying to travel back too far without enough nutrients.  Now, though, I'm embracing the idea that it's due to the paradox.  Slowly embracing, because I don't get why Aaron has such a bad reaction to Granger and Abe doesn't.  Unless Aaron and Granger are causally linked somehow due to events that happened in the timeline we never saw.  Or it's one of the mysterious, unexplained side effects of time travel, like loss of dexterity and ear bleeds.  This is actually something that I deeply appreciate about the movie; like, yeah, if time travel were invented by two guys in a garage, they would experiment on themselves, and there would of course be side effects, and until they got some more people working on it they would have no idea why those side effects were occurring, and wouldn't be able to predict what they might be. [Hey, followers: if you're like me and still struggling (or if you're smarter than me, have figured it out, and want to see what someone else thinks), here's a blog that's compiled the book to which he's referring:  http://theprimeruniverse.blogspot.com/

There's a nice summary a few posts down from the top, and then the whole thing a little later.  My limited research suggests that the book is currently out of print, and the blog may have been compiled by the original author, so I'm not feeling incredibly terrible about not funding an Indie author right now.  Also, there's an extremely rabid online community about this movie and its timeline and THEY FEEL STRONGLY ABOUT THINGS.  Who knew.  I'm just here because of xkcd.]

Though since they made Adler a love interest, they may make Mycroft his father, just with the same traits. Mycroft would work well being switched from brother to father anyways, the way he acts.

Good point. And I agree, Sherlock definitely brings it up a few times with no indication that he might not be his father. Of course there's probably a story there, judging by all the tension. This was such an intense episode!
