“Dang lightning-bugs done bit me on my sit-upon. Somebody's gonna have to suck out this poison. Don't everybody jump up at once” Jebidiah Allardyce "Cookie" Farnsworth was such a fun cosplay. Easy, fun and comfortable. Atlantis: The Lost Empire is one of those Disney movies that is wholly underappreciated. It does stray away from the musicals that Disney was known for.  Pics by More Cosplay [Web]

Childhood movies that have inspired my writing
I don’t really have anyone to talk about this with, but there are a lot of amazing movies that inspired my current WIP (most of which are cartoons that were ingrained in my head as a child and have had an effect on my interests ever since) so I thought that I would share and maybe someone else would like to share their inspiration. So here goes!
Tumblr media
1. Atlantis: The Lost Empire
So, my story is actually about the lost city of Atlantis, and I think it’s safe to say that my fascination began with this movie. It was probably a little violent for a 3-year-old, but it was exciting and had interesting, and diverse characters. A+ for diversity and character motivation.
2. The Road To El Dorado
This one is second on the list mostly because it’s pretty similar to Atantis (searching for a lost mythical city, falling in love with it, greed) and because I watched it recently. Let me tell you, the jokes are a lot funnier when you aren’t 4 years old and can actually understand them aaaaand this movie is underrated.
3. The Prince Of Egypt
This movie is probably too serious for kids, but as a child it always left me in a trance and it still does. The art and the music is beautiful, the story is moving even if you aren’t religious, and it has fueled my obsession with Ancient Egypt for two decades now.
4. Quest For Camelot
So you might notice a theme here; cartoons that are somewhat historic but mainly based on myths, which I think sums up by WIP and my general tastes. This one is of... less quality, but it’s still funny and it has great songs.
I think I’m going to leave it at that, but I would love to know what has inspired your stories and I think I might share some more in the future. Thanks for reading!
