The BitterSweet polycule at last!!
It took me a bit to draw them all out but I'm happy how they turned out!
If you want to hear me yap a bit about my version of SugarBoo, feel free to read more below!
Trigger warnings before reading:
- Mentions of family members deaths
- Implied emotional abuse
- Physical abuse of a minor (e.g forced cutting hair)
- Harrassment
- Mentions of being homeless
My version of SugarBoo is named Devlin but everyone just calls him Dev for short. He's a transman that uses he/they pronouns!
He was born in California before moving out to Texas with his mom and dad, however when Dev was around 4 or 5 his dad passed away due to complications with his heart. Dev was very much a daddys boy when his dad was still alive however since his dads passing him and his mother grew closer up until she remarried when Dev was around 10.
His step dad and Dev had a really rocky relationship from the get go due to the fact Dev looks a lot like his bio father so he made him cut his hair short constantly while growing up. This is because Devs bio dad had really long hair and the resemblance between him and Dev were near identical.
Dev and his mother were very close however when it came to his step dad she didn't have the guts to really stand up to him. Dev loves his mother dearly, they used to tell each other everything and Dev genuinely believed his mom would have his back throughout anything but it came crumbling down whenever his step dad was involved.
What strained and nearly broke the relationship between him and his mom was when Dev turned 18 and got thrown out of his home. After years of his mother reassuring him and promising that he'd be able to stay there while going to college, it was all thrown out the window in an instant as soon as he turned 18. Dev felt betrayed by the one person he thought had his back because his mom did nothing to stop his step dad from throwing him out.
Dev was basically living in his dingy car his mom bought for him when he was 16 for almost a year before he was able to get back on his feet again. It was around 5 years later did he recieve any messages or news from his mom and it was from the hospital stating that his step dad and mom were both in a car crash. His step dad didn't make it but his mom was still clinging on so they called whoever she put down as her emergency contacts. And the only person she put down was Devlins number.
Despite how much Dev wanted to decline, he broke and ended up going back to see his mom again in the hospital. She was still alive but the doctors confirmed she wouldn't be able to live on without a proper care taker so Dev ended up taking that role.
Dev really wanted to hate his mom, he hated how she betrayed him like that all those years ago and a part of him still won't let it go. But, seeing the shit his mom went through and believing he was going to lose his mom permanently, it shook him to his core. After everything that happened, Dev still loved his mom and still wanted her in his life. The two ended up talking a lot when she was finally discharged, a lot of things came out and a lot of tears were shed. In the end, Dev ended up forgiving his mom however he made it clear that although he forgives her he won't ever forget what she did to him. It's something he needs to work out in therapy.
Dev took care of his mom for almost 2 years and within those two years he and his mom had been harassed constantly by his step dads family. His step dad was a very rich man and his family were harassing them for his money, assest, etc. The will was vauge and the court proceedings were long, even after it was settled that Dev and his mom would get majority of his assets and money they still kept hounding them for more.
Dev really tried to not let it effect his moms health, he was taking on a lot of responsibilities and fighting off his step dads family just added more to his plate. They made his and his moms life hell for nearly two years up until his mom passed away. Dev made a promise to his mom that he would live life well and wouldn't depend on anyone for anything and that started with Dev selling everything he could that didn't have emotional value after her funeral and dropping off the face of the earth to anyone who knew him in that god awful town.
He needed a fresh start, somewhere far away where his step dads family could never find him, somewhere he could build a life in peace and that landed him in the town where he met two men that would change his life for the better.
This is all I have for now but Dev is definitely my more well written out listeners and I adore him so!!

The Witch From Mercury: Tying Up Loose Ends
A look at the state of different characters, organizations and plot points after the epilogue of The Witch From Mercury.
Earth vs. Space, and Earthian Inequality
The crux of this conflict was the growing inequality between Earthians and Spacians, and that Spacians were exploiting Earthian labour and resources for their gain, while also pitting them in proxy wars. When Miorine dissolved the Benerit Group, all their assets were placed into Earthian hands, including all the resources the plundered from Earth and presumably a number of weapons. With this, the main driving force of the conflict is resolved, although tensions very likely still linger, especially among those who lost family and friends to the Benerit Group.
While it may not be a perfect long-term solution, it has definitely helped in the short-term. Gund-Arm Inc. has survived the transfer and we see Miorine working with Earthian protesters to solve lingering issues. And we even see that Sedo is now getting an education. Clearly, Miorine’s actions havehad a positive affect on Earthian lives. Suletta & Miorine changed the status quo in a far greater way for the better than many Gundam main characters manage to do in their own worlds.
The Benerit Group
The Benerit Group was dissolved, and all of the political and military might it wielded as an entity was destroyed. Obviously many members of the group found ways to continue working, and many will have had some assets stashed away not attached to the group, but they would lack the combined strength that the group wielding before.
We see that Delling and Sarius are under investigation in the epilogue, so even if they're still free as of the epilogue, they may not be so for very long. And for Delling, who formed the Benerit Group as a means to enforce a tyrannical "peace" upon the world, his life's work was destroyed by his daughter, and all the power that came with it.
We do see the Peil Ladies, who seem to have slinked away to some sort of retirement home in the aftermath of events. While some see this as a good ending for them, keep in mind they had just double crossed the BG in a play to be the next major power in the business world after the SAL wiped them out. Instead, they were left with nothing. No power, no super company. You can see how miserable they look in the epilogue.
The children of the Benerit Group all seem to have found a future, one way or another. Gund-Arm Incorporated is still around, with all it's Earthian and Spacian employees. Elan, Secelia and Guel are still kicking and running their own businesses, though it's unclear if they found positions with the new owners of their old companies or started over.
GUND Technology
The Prologue started with showing GUND as a means for humanity to travel into space, as well as conquering various other physical disabilities. The work of the Vanadis Institute is now continued by GUND-Arm Incorporated, which we see in the epilogue is producing medical technology to aid those with disabilities, like Petra and Ericht.
Shaddiq
I have talked about this a lot in the past, but Shaddiq doesn't have a bad ending. His goal was to dissolve the Benerit Group and transfer their assests to Earth to balance the powers, and Miorine successfully achieved his goal for him. Sabina and company came away from everything with their freedom and now work to better Earth. And as a cherry on top, since Shaddiq was already under arrest for Plant Quetta and Asticassia, he also took the fall for Quiet Zero as well, to protect Miorine’s new family.
Mercury & The School
We don't actually see Mercury in the series itself (except in a flashback of the Lfrith hanger), but we don't really need to. The planet itself doesn't have any relevance to events, and Cradle Planet (which does take place on Mercury) makes it pretty clear there isn't anything of interest out there anyway. And while Suletta is from there and wants to build a school there, she never once expressed a desire to return. We can pretty safely say that Suletta built her school there, based on the line "You're going to build another school here?"
Lingering Questions
The Space Assembly League
Quiet Zero not only shook up things in space due to the dissolution of the Benerit Group, but also the revelation that the SAL was directly supporting Earthian resistance groups and helping them carry out attacks against their own citizens, not to mention very publicly trying to wipe out millions of it's own citizens with a giant space laser. Presumably this caused a massive shake-up within the SAL, and between that and the Benerit Group dissolution, the entire political structure of space very likely changed significantly, but the epilogue doesn't really give much of a hint about what that looks like.
The Lfrith AI
A plot thread in the Prologue that completely disappeared afterwards. While I'm not personally convinced it was ever meant to be a plot point beyond the Prologue, I was convinced it was worth bringing up. It was meant to overcome the Gundam Curse and allow people to pilot Gundams without negative permet damage. However, by all accounts, it never succeeded. The show very heavily implies that Ericht's unique ability to coexist with the Data Storm is what allows her to connect to the AI and pilot a Gundam without harm, and it's never brought up again. Not to mention the Darilbalde used a new advanced AI that could pilot a mobile suit with pilot input at all, but not even that was seen as a solution to the Curse for the Schwarzette.
Elnora and the Covern
We know Suletta was the key. It was necessary for someone to pilot Aerial because Ericht couldn't. Whether it was Ericht's permet resistance that Elnore needed, or maybe just a close bond family bond to push permet scores, the solution she found was to clone her own daughter. Through context we might assume this isn't exactly unheard of in Ad Stella, given the lack of surprise about her origins from Suletta’s friends. But what about the Coven? We see that by the time Ericht "dies" and she is uploaded to the Aerial, Suletta was already born. Were they made before or after Suletta. Before implies they were clones that tragically could not survive and Elnora desperately uploaded them to the Lfrith to save them, unable to bear more loss. Afterwards implies that they were necessary for control of the Gundbits. Where they more repli-children uploaded, or did Ericht simply copy her data into clones to handle the bits more easily? There are so many questions about what Elnora did to make the coven.
Notrette
The woman of mystery. We never even see her face. Depending on who you ask, the mystery is a good thing and any more information would ruin it. We know she's from Earth, that she wanted to apply the evolutionary mechanics of plants to humans, and that Quiet Zero was the key to her plans. And that, for whatever reason, she left a backdoor into it for her daughter based on the genetic code of her tomatoes. Why did she marry Delling? What was her original goal with Quiet Zero and what did she intend with it? How exactly did she die? Did she have a love affair with Prospera that saw her help Elnora create a clone of her daughter?
The Future of Gundams
Perhaps the ultimate sequel hook: we do not know what the future holds for Gundams after Quiet Zero. The Ur is presumably still around, and even if it remains a forbidden technology, we've seen that there are those willing to sacrifice lives to use that power. On the other hand, is the original goal of GUND-Arm Inc. a possibly? Can GUND Format equipped Mobile Suits be operated safely and for the good of humanity, instead of as a tool for war?
Asticassia
With help from Guel, Elan and Secelia, Asticassia survives 3 years later. But what is it's purpose? Is it still a training ground for the spacian elite to train the next generation of oppressors, or has it found new life as a technical school that takes in students from anywhere, without prejudice.
The Three Kids
In the epilogue, we see Suletta playing with three children in the wheat field. Are these children that Suletta & Miorine adopted? Or simply some local kids who Suletta likes to play with? Due to the fact that they seemingly disappear for the rest of the scene, I'm inclined to believe the latter.

It's crazy how even in the Alpine F1 Team : Inside book, the relationship between Esteban and Pierre is being romanticized.
Of course the whole book isn't about them, it's mainly on the team behind the car, but even with these few lines they're competiting with fanfic writers :
"Esteban's father introduced him (Pierre) to karting by asking him if he wanted to try his son's go kart, ever since the paths of these two drivers in the making never stopped crossing, from their childhood to this day. "
They put a good effort on calling it a "healthy rivalry". It's mentioned at least three times.
When they both arrived to F1, their rivalry came back up in the media as expected. [...]
Time heals all wounds, a relationship normalized between two personnalities distinctly differents. As if one was the opposite mirror of the other.
"In the end, what happened (their rivalry) is positive because it motivated us even more to beat the other, emphasized Gasly. It's funny to see that we're both in F1, knowing where we both came from"
Given their history, is it so much of a surprise to notice that their journey in F1 have strong similarities ?
A number of starts virtually identical, a victory gained at the wheel of a car clearly out of the top 3, or yet the 2019 season stamped by the sceal of adversity and tragedy (dowgrading from RedBull to Toro Rosso for Gasly, year as a Mercedes reserve driver for Ocon, passing of their childhood friend Anthoine Hubert in F2).
Now established as solid assests in the F1 scene, the two teammates don't give each other an easy ride, each wanting to stay ahead of the other. But there's no doubt that this healthy rivalry reveal itself to be particularly precious at this time where Alpine aspire to take [the team] to the next level.
Pierre, how's your collaboration with Esteban going ?
"We both know that we need each other to take things further with the team. We have to work together, be open towars one another and sharing information. Thins happened quite naturally, especially as we both have similar feedbacks. We guide the team to similar directions, it's really positive for the future."
Because you're probably going insane just like me, there's a little bonus. I absolutely lost it when I saw this picture, WHY IS PIERRE SO SHORT???

[11.06.2024]
After the concert Apo shared quite a few IGs about their moments there together, but nothing about the first episode of his Siamese Assests Commercial series:
Then he posted two throwback pics of trips they did last year. Mama Rom didn't only like both (as she does with every post of his) but commented on the first:
Meanwhile Mile of course shared a lot about his concert as he should. One thing was about Apo's outfit again:
Then a group picture from the concert hall was posted with MileApo in the centre:
Yesterday Apo was at the BKK airport and took a flight to Paris for his Piaget trip. While he passed the fan photographers he asked them this:
How cute and smitten is he???
And fans noticed how there suddenly was a papaya/orange rimowa suitcase from their recent collection. May I remind you:
Hehe.
And a last thing worth mentioning IMO: Mile was online at the same time Apo posted a selfie from the plane, stayed up very late even by his standard and woke up late as well. Perfectly matching for Apo's arrival time and new timezone.

What Characters Were Planned For BBDW?
I finally got my hands on the BBDW game files. Like other people have mentioned, there are a lot of blank placeholder images, specifically as part of the character asset groups. While looking at the files, I thought I found a pattern, so I decided I'd see if I could figure out which characters were definitively planned to be added to BBDW.
We already know that all characters had a chance to be added, but these characters had actual evidence in the game's files- places prepared for where they would have been put.
Here's what I mean. Ciel is the first character listed- both of her images start with 0001. Then there's a placeholder for a character 0002. Next we have all of Jin's assets starting with 0003.
Considering the order that the following character assets go in, and the fact that Mori did end up releasing his character art, I'd bet money on that 0002 asset being reserved for Ragna. Let's look at a larger section.
Here, it looks like the characters are grouped up based on the games they came out in- we see the Calamity Trigger cast all next to each other. And we know they aren't numbered in order of when they were released- if that were the case, Hakumen would much farther down the list.
Considering that the order the characters are shown is almost the same order as they appear in Calamity Trigger's story select menu, I'm pretty sure that 0011 was meant to be Carl, and 0013 was going to be Nu-13 if I'm right, I love the detail that they managed to have her the 13th character in the files.
To keep track of which characters I've already found a place for, I'll be using the handy dandy icons from the wiki over here. So, here!
Obviously, none of these are confirmed. These are just my best guesses for who all of these placeholder characters would have been. If you have any ideas, I'd love to here them! For now, let's move on the next games. This is gonna be a long post.
The majority of the Continuum Shift cast is accounted for. Like with the CT cast, it's pretty easy to figure out who those two blank spaces were for. There are only two playable characters from CS that don't show up in BBDW- Relius as 0019 and Mu as 0020.
The Chronophantasma characters are next. I'm pretty confident that Terumi is 0027, starting the list of Extend character assests. I'm not sure who's 0022 or 0024 between Amane and Azrael, but I'm certain that those places are for them, in whichever order.
The interesting one here is Kagura. Kagura was in BBDW, and we have other assets for him, but we're missing one card art, and that's what that placeholder (where I put his icon) is for. You can tell by the fact that all four of those files- the placeholder, the NOL Kagura, the normal Kagura, and his max art- start their numbering with 0026.
And we actually do have a hint as to what would have been on this empty Kagura card. Somewhere else in the game files, hidden in another collection of character assets, we come across 002600 again- this time, it isn't a placeholder.
Unfortunately, this is all we can see of the art- there's almost undoubtedly a full body version of this somewhere (likely in the possession of ArcSys) but it definitely isn't anywhere in these files. I wonder if the, uh, Kagura Incident, and how that all went down, has anything to do with why they didn't finish putting in all his assets... There are other characters with a placeholder for some of their art but proper images for others (you can see Jubei, 0037, at the bottom there) but I haven't found any other characters who have a placeholder for an image in one group of assets and but no placeholder for the same costume in a different group of assets.
it seems like it could be a costume for Kagura based on his Academy look/his appearance in Amane's Astral Finish.
Continuing into the Central Fiction characters with Hibiki, 0030, at the end of the previous line. For the unknown characters/placeholder slots, I believe 0032 was for Nine as we know her in CF. Nine would have had multiple playable versions, much like Valkenhayn; who had a playable C-series and Bloodedge Experience version released for BBDW and a Phase Shift version in the files that we never got to play.
0033 would be for Izanami. Susano'o would be 0036, right alongside his fellow DLC character, Jubei, at 0037. Similarly to Kagura, Jubei was playable in game, but for some reason one of his assets was never added. Unlike Kagura, I haven't been able to find any sign of what that asset- presumably a costume- would have looked like.
Then we have two spots at the end of the CF list. We're out of playable characters from the mainline games, but thanks to Homura in the 0039 spot, we know that 0038 must have been a C-series Blazblue character, not part of the Phase Shift cast that comes next.
I was stumped on who 0038 could've been for a little while- Linhua was one thought, since she made it into the game, but she doesn't have any placeholder slots- she appears later in the files as 0092. Roy is also a popular enough C-series character but I didn't feel confident in that pick.
If I had to guess anyone, I'd say 0038 had been meant for Torakaka. She'd be right next to Jubei who she replaced in Tao's Astral when he was added to CF, and we know from Chachakaka's early implementation that the game seemed pretty eager to add the Kaka Clan cast- they even had some gameplay trends specifically associated with them. So, let's slide her right in there.
So there are all my best guesses for which characters were on the horizon for BBDW before its untimely end. I'll be stopping here, and will continue starting with the Phase Shift cast in a future post. I've taken a look over those sections, and I actually expect them to be much harder to figure out... We don't have any easy playable character rosters to compare to the empty slots anymore.

Crypto Token Development Types and Benefits
crypto token development creates a digital assests on a blockchain platforms, in this blog we learn about types and benefits.
What is crypto token development:
Crypto token development refers to the device of making digital belongings in blockchain technology platforms. These tokens constitute a number of residences or utilities and are frequently used in specific surroundings. The improvement process consists of designing the token’s functions, together with its software program, shipping mechanics, and safety protocols, followed by the actual coding and deployment on a blockchain.
The improvement of crypto token development is a complicated manner that calls for a deep know-how of blockchain generation, smart contracts, and cryptographic protection capabilities. Developers need to moreover take into account the criminal and regulatory frameworks of the jurisdictions in which the tokens may be furnished. This guarantees that the tokens look at criminal hints, particularly those associated with securities and anti-money laundering.
Role of Crypto Tokens in Blockchain Platform:
Crypto tokens are digital assets created and controlled on a blockchain network. Unlike native cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, which function because they are the number one currency of their respective blockchains, tokens can represent a number of belongings or utilities inside precise ecosystems.
Tokens can serve multiple functions, together with appearing as a shape of foreign money, representing ownership of assets, or providing access to precise services or features inside a decentralized application (DApp). The versatility of tokens has enabled blockchain technology to increase its reach into various sectors, facilitating the advent of latest economic devices, decentralized markets, or even digital artwork.
Types of crypto tokens:
Today’s cryptocurrency world is characterised through a large type of cash and tokens, from price cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and ETH to the famous NFTs . Knowing how to navigate crypto tokens is an important skill for navigating the Web3 space, that’s one of the key development areas of crypto technology and ideas that form a whole atmosphere. Below are the most not unusual varieties of crypto tokens, each with its very own specialty.
Utility Tokens
Utility tokens are digital belongings that companies issue to broaden their project ecosystems. In fact, these tokens are created explicitly so that users can access the company’s products. By purchasing a token of a particular project, investors gain advantages when using the company’s products. The purchase of an asset is necessary to start using the project’s advantages.
Security Tokens
Security tokens are digital analogues of securities that certify ownership and give the right to perform investment activities (e.g. dividends, profit shares, etc.). These rights are recorded in a protocol, and the tokens are traded on exchanges. Security tokens follow the regulations of financial regulatory bodies in various countries, such as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)
An NFT, or non-fungible token, is a certificate that proves which you own a unique object within the virtual area. Non-fungible manner precise and impossible to replace with some other item. Each NFT includes a digital signature that makes the token precise, which exists in simplest one copy. All facts approximately its creator, purchaser, and all transactions with it are securely stored on a blockchain. In other words, an NFT is a virtual certificate attached to a completely unique item.
Stablecoins
Stablecoins are a type of payment token whose price, in practice, should remain stable over time. These tokens are usually backed by real assets or funds (such as short-term government bonds, fiat currencies, commodities, real estate, and securities) or other crypto assets. They can also take the form of algorithmic stablecoins (with an algorithm used to stabilize the volatility of the token’s value). While some of these stablecoins may also qualify as financial instruments or electronic cash in step with a few monetary regulators , others may work past regulation and have a different fame.
Governance Tokens
Governance tokens are the cryptographic tokens used to symbolize voting on the blockchain, dispensing choice-making strength from a centralized entity to the complete community. For example, the famous savings protocol Compound problems a COMP token to all customers. This token offers its proprietors a say in the procedure of modernizing Compound. Logically, it follows that the greater COMP tokens the owner has, the more votes they may get.
Benefits of Crypto Token Development
Crypto tokens permit decentralized get entry to offerings, improve liquidity, and facilitate fundraising via ICOs. They offer stronger transparency, protection, and performance in transactions. Additionally, tokens can create new sales streams, foster community engagement, and unencumbered progressive enterprise fashions within virtual ecosystems.
Increased Liquidity
Global Reach And Accessibility
Fundraising Opportunities
Community Building
Conclusion:
Crypto token improvement services play an important role within the creation and deployment of digital assets on blockchain development networks. By leveraging these services, organizations and tasks can free up the energy of crypto tokens, enabling progressive use cases, fostering decentralized ecosystems, and remodeling conventional industries.

Delinquency for life
My civics tutor said an iconic quote today.
"Statistically speaking, Thursdays have the most number of absences."
It's only cuz thursdays are the longest days, and assest days lol. It's why me and my friend @whichawayay and i congratulate each other when we turn up to school. It's fucking hilarious when I get told "Omg you turned up to sch tdy! Good job."
And this boy in my class said ditching school on thurs shouldn't require mcs or paernts letters, cuz the civics tutor have a hard time on friday since the mc and parent letter piles are taller than our chem equilibrium notes lmaoo.
We laughed so hard. I'm in a class of rulebreakers, and I love them for it.

Anyway, apparently SEGA wants Yakuza, Sonic, and Persona to become annual franchises.
(Like a Dragon is Yakuza's Japanese name.)
Anyway, the site also lists a previous rumor about P6 being in 2025, but given Metaphor's development hell, and P5's previous development hell, I'm not too optimistic.
(Also don't expect SMTV designs haha.)
Among these, Sonic being annualized is not really news, though this is clearly meant to refer to 3D games I suppose, or at least including 2.5D games. Given the Sonic Heroes remake though, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Billy Hatcher remake as well, as it uses the same engine. Shadow the Hedgehog would require intense rework, but also a lot of its assests are actually external (you can look it up from Sonic Retro).
Yakuza sort of goes from annualization to biennialization like Sonic, and I'm not familiar enough with its extensive spin-offs to make a judgement (pun not intended).
****
The talk about remakes make me interested. In the case of Sonic, this likely refers to Unleashed, which given its Japanese name, World Adventure, and its overall themes, was basically the final Adventure title lore-wise.
Lost World, co-developed by Nintendo, would need to be remade from ground up to avoid legal issues, so it would be more of a reimagining, unless they make it exclusive to Nintendo consoles, but I think SEGA learned their lesson. At least I hope.
Forces also would need a more intense reimagining, though gameplay wise, the biggest issue was the level design, which, while taking time, can be dealt more easily.
A Sonic Colors Ultimate rerelease would be funny. It would be probably be done quickly, but it would be kind of admitting their own mistakes, so SEGA's stocks would be effected.
****
For Persona remakes, do not expect P4AU, since that wasn't developed by Atlus. PQ games were developed by Atlus themselves though, so those might get an updated rerelease for Nintendo consoles.
Of course, everyone is expecting the main numbered titles, but we will cross their bridge when time comes. Since every single one of them require a novel length post, especially due to P2-P3 connections, and rereleases of Aigis prequel, and P1 mobile spin-off, though we covered P4 briefly already.
For P6, the talk about semi-open world makes me immediately think of Lucifer, and co., or the Mothers from Strange Journey, since those are the only two groups large enough to sustain such a premise. Talk of more open Social Links makes me immediately think of Devil Survivor, so I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be thinly veiled Devil Survivor, or TWEVY plot in Persona mechanics.

[11] Enter Cheezebot
Noelani: "Alright, have we got our disguises?"
Ava: "Mhm."
Frogious: "Yeah, but I don't know if they'll be effective-"
Chantonsy: Dont sweat the disguises. We've had surveillance on a number of cargo ships. Lets just say this ship has been... very helpful in getting our allies off this island.
Frogious: "Well that's vague"
Noelani: "You'll see."
Ava: "There's also the matter of getting on the ship"
Chantonsy: "Yes, well here's where we use out most powerful assest. Tiptoeing"
Ava: "Ah."
Chantonsy: Now that the hard part is out of the way, we just need to act natural while we wait for the ship to set sail."
Ava: "Wow. Theres a lot of silly sausages in these boxes."
Chantonsy: "Funnily enough, it's one of western Tokais main exports. You see, despite the cold war going on across Ulina, Honeygoo still needs its silly exports! And so the silly must flow-"
Frogious: "SHHHH!-"
Cheezebot: "HALT, WHO GOES THERE!?"
Noelani: "(faint whisper) this is the fun part..."
Cheezebot: BE YE INTRUDERS???
Chantonsy: OH!!! My good man, do you not see our luxurious mustaches??? We are but the cream of the crop. President Vundabar has sent us as sand inspectors to visit the massive grains of Honeygoo!"
Cheezebot: "Oh. How ignorant of me. Ye be fine inspectors. Let me know if you see any intruders, especially the terrible Frogious Jones or his terrorist allies."
Ava: "Pffft-"
Noelani: Certainly my good sir!
Cheezebot: Cheezebot sends his bestest wishes.
Frogious: "What in the name of Gouda was that goober?"
Noelani: "That's Cheezebot. He believes that anyone with a mustache must be on sand inspection duty. He has singlehandedly let us cheese our way out of Vundabar's tokaroka for the last month"
Frogious: "What a guy"
Chantonsy: "No Frogious, what a cheese."
[The ship sputters into motion]
Ava: "I guess this means our journey begins. I hope you like vacations. Its gonna be a long time before we see home again."
Frogious: "If traveling the world means a future without Vundabar, then I'd travel to hell and back."
Noelani: "If by hell you mean the goofster capital of the world, then yeah. We're right on course."
"To honeygoo we go."

Yuri Norstein: A brief look at his background
Yuri Norstein is a Soviet and Russian animator. He is most well known for his short films 'Hedgehog in the Fog' (1975) and 'Tales of Tales' (1979).
He was born to Jewish parents and was raised in the village of Andreyevka of Penza Region, where his family was evacuated as Nazi troops advanced towards Moscow. They were eventually able to move back to Moscow two-years later.
He studied formally at an art school and was hired in 1961 at Soyuzmultfilm, which was the Soviet Union's top animation studio. However, Norstein wanted to quit animation and attempted to apply to art school several times, all unsuccessfully. “I met many brilliant directors at [Soyuzmultfilm], but my desire to quit was equal to my dislike of animation; I dreamed of painting pictures.” It also did not help that the films that were being made at this studio were either; cautionary videos for children or propaganda for the government. Yuri and his wife Francheska Alfredova, who also worked at the very same studio did not feel creatively fulfilled.
He directed his first film in 1968, however his 1975 film 'Hedgehog in the Fog' is what pushed him into worldwide acclaim. Winning 'best animated film at the 1976 All-Union Film Festival. And in 2003, 'Hedgehog in the Fog' was ranked number 1 in a poll at the Laputa Animation Festival where 140 animators from around the world voted for the 'best animated films of all time.'
Yuri Norstein famously is anti- socialist and actively rejected the style of socialist realism that was the predominant form of approved art in the Soviet Union. It is easily identified by its absence of ambiguity and were simple stories with clear meanings that were meant to display the virtues of the Soviet Union. While Yuri's and Francheska's films weren't overly anti-socialist they also weren't patriotic and all were ambiguous compared to the standard needed at the time.
Yuri and Francheska have different roles when creating their animations. Yuri as writer, director and animator. And Francheska creates the films visual assests, which is for both the background and foreground. Yuri does not work digitally instead uses multiple glass planes to create a 3-dimensional look. The camera is place above the glass and Yuri will move the planes whe he wants the character to move closer or further away.

Photo
The introduction of many colours I enjoy a lot as it has a way of introduing a more eyecatching content without the colours directing you to a certain idea for example if you were advertising a brochure about saving the planet you would likely use green colours or blues where as i feel like i could use a variety of boldlt different colours (blue red yellow purple white green) as a way of giving the event no identity which is similar to what a type event would be. although my idea of a type event brochure would be clean slick and encororating some cool graphic elements to do with type or slick look I wouldnt be able to associate a colour or particular set of colours with typography so i think many colours cold work well.
Colours create order as seen in the bottom photo as it is seperating the text and creating a cool effect once open. This can slo help with disdinguiushing the pages when the brochure is opened out all the way.
creating contrast with colours makes text easy to read as done by the sencond to bottom photo. Colours that are contrasting to the page colour can pop more than the traditional white text which could assist me in making information clearer. I can also use different colouring of pages to suite different type designers that are coming to the event.
The first photo is a cool way of linking pages together with overlaping larger numbers but where the page line is the colour is changed to a contrasting colour, this effect is great and i can see myself using this. This helps elements of each apge flow with one another and can help assests fit into the brochure.
Im keen to experiment with overlays of images or graphics that i could use.

Regression modeling Module 3 Assignment
Reminder (research problem and defined variables)
Study topic:
Primary topic
Suicide rate Vs. Income per person
Variables of interest:
suicideper100th: This data gives the number of suicide due to self-inflicted injury per 100,000 people in any particular country. This rate is calculated as if all countries had the same age composition of the population. The data is based on the “Global burden of disease study” from WHO.
incomeperperson: The data contains GDP per capita in US dollars divided by midyear population. This data is calculated adjusting the global inflation (without making deductions for the depreciation of fabricated assests or for depletion and degradation of natural resources). The data was provided by world bank.
Flow sequence for a python program
Steps:
Read the csv file.
Convert the datas of interest to numeric
Select only the readable data (exclude null or NaN)
Center the explanatory variable (by subtracting mean)
Merge the centered explanatory variable and response variable into a subset data
Fit Response variable vs. Explanatory variable into a linear regression model
Introduce other explanatory variable and Fit Response variable vs. Explanatory variable into a multiple regression model
Construct Q-Q plot, standardized residual plot, regression plot and leverage plot to evaluate the model fit
Python program

==============================================================================
Discussion: Even though R2 increased to 0.023 it is still a very weak model fit. The p values for all the variables (incomeperperson, incomeperperson**2, employrate, and polityscore) are above the significance level. This means that all the variables are statistically insignificant.
Confidence intervals:
#Q-Q plot
fig1=sm.qqplot(reg3.resid, line='r')
Q-Q plot clearly shows how poor the model is. The model is especially worse when the explanatory variables are very high or very low.
#Standardized residual plot
stdres = pandas.DataFrame(reg3.resid_pearson)
fig2 = plt.plot(stdres,'o',ls='None')
l = plt.axhline(y=0, color = 'r')
plt.ylabel('Standardized Residual')
plt.xlabel('Observation Number')
print(fig2)
Discussion: The standardized residual plot clearly shows that the couple of data above three standard deviations away (meaning they are outliers). Also there are many datas above 2.5 standard deviations away meaning the model is a poor fit. There are however no data on the lower bound meaning there are no data below -2 standard deviations away.
#Regression plots for incomeperperson
fig3 = plt.figure(figsize=(12,8))
fig3 = sm.graphics.plot_regress_exog(reg3,"incomeperperson",fig=fig3)
Discussion: The residuals are significantly high when the income values are lower. Partial regression plot shows there is significant prediction error.
#Leverage plot
fig5 = sm.graphics.influence_plot(reg3,size = 8)
print(fig5)
Discussion: Similar to standard residual plot, leverage plot also shows there are some outliers above 2 but not below -2. However, the outliers above 2 are of smaller significance or influence. The data with high leverage are not seen to be outliers.

This background was being used in the original game in late 2020/early 2021, and was very likely added to the game files much earlier than that (since it's normal for assests to be added quite far ahead in advance)
Reminder that Dall E Mini was still only capable of creating absurd, barely-comprehensible monstrosities in mid-to-late 2022, around 2 years after this background was already being used in OG OM.
Yes this OM background looks scuffed, but that could be due to any number of legitimate reasons - like artists doing a rush job to meet deadlines, or understaffed art teams having a higher workload than they can handle, reusing and/or painting over existing assets or stock images - rather than AI.
No one is stupid for being suspicious of AI art, and it's 100% understandable why people are so wary of it. And we should be! I'm just offering some info that could help anyone who might still be unsure 🫶
i don't wanna get called stupid again for thinking they've used genAI so im just gonna say this is one slop of a background work
