His tendency to linger around you even when he knows that you can handle yourself. He can't help himself from constantly reaching out for you. This adoration obvious to everyone that watches the two of you stumble about town looking for spices or buying pumpkin bread. The two of you considered a certified duo.

What really give him away however, isn't that he always has a hand hovering over your lower back, it isn't even how his frame is always leaning towards you or how observantly his eyes follow you . . . No if not for that, then it's very evident from how he treats those trying to flirt or make a move on you . . . Trying to woo you away from him. He gets extremely irritated when they get so bold as to do it right infront of him. Getting from short and curt to downright showing his disdain for them, and when that doesn't work . . . He changes tactics.

When a wandering tourist, the one who tried to get a bit too friendly with you in the market, enters the shop. Asra finally slithers out from the backroom. Although he had reserved himself to spending all day fiddling around with new trinkets for the shop. He all of a sudden doesn't mind taking a break . . . Leaning into you from behind. Pressing his chest into your back as he gently wraps an arm around your front to rub your other shoulder or his hand on your hip rubbing his thumb in soothing circles. Eyes gleaming at the stranger with a sly coy smile as he listens intensively to what you say. His chin perched on your shoulder with you none the wiser about his intentions. Watching you work, knowing just how awkward his blatant display of affections is making your soon to be ex-customer uncomfortable. He knows the tourist knows what he's doing. He just doesn't care. Maybe even presses a loving kiss to the back of your shoulder to make you stutter and fumble with your words.

You've never seen a customer leave quicker and Asra returns back to the backroom. Only now, sulking at the fact that you scolded him about PDA during work.
