(In a nutshell: Some players abused the Philosopher's Stone/Gem bug because of players' desperation and of how ridiculous that gacha armor is very required to do endgame content. In frustration to see none of improvements in the game as AS team simply added more gacha content, not game content, they intentionally get banned to finally quit the game, including some of pro players.

You know it's bad when the pro players, the ones who spent dedicated time to play the gacha predatory game, finally had enough.

I love the story, characters and lore, but the gameplay content is bare bones. It's just gacha and copy-pasted event with useless accessory rewards. It was husk of its former self. What's the point anymore? AS team don't want to give reasons for us to stay. In fact, I would never ever recommend AS to anyone. I would want them to play Toram. They're losing global audience, so it won't be long before they will be in financial trouble before shutting global server down.)

Thoughts On Toram Banwaves & The Future of Mellorism.

I'll never regret creating Mellorism. I mentioned this before. But somehow, I do regret basing Mellorism off of another IP.

I realized, maybe I should've made it original, or loosely based on Toram Online at least. Because if Asobimo (the company that owns the game) majorly screws up or shuts down, Mellorism may just... become irrelevant.

Toram Online is notorious for their awful, awful customer support and automoderation. Players get banned left and right for doing literally nothing. Party up with cheaters accidentally? Banned. Use a skill too much? You're a bot now, because the system says so. You know where bots go? In the bin. It's so bad that a ban can happen randomly now, even if you're a player with an honest heart.

If you've seen the flurry of complaints from players, I can confirm it's real, and has been an issue for a while now. And the kicker is, getting unbanned never happens, even if it was a mistake on the company's part.

Also, before I scare anyone: I did NOT get banned. At least by the time I posted this, not yet.

However, if my Toram account does get swept away during a banwave, what will happen to Mellorism? Honestly, no matter what, I'm still determined to finish season 1. I want it done. I love the characters and the story that much. It's going to be hell gathering screenshots and refs for it though, but I'll manage.

I planned Mellorism season 2 since the beginning, but I'm seriously stopping the show to just Episode 10 (season 1 finale) if my account ever disappears. Season 2 will be discontinued then, even the little sidestories I planned, but this is a MASSIVE IF. To be honest, because of their constant automod mismanagements, it's possible that I (and even my friends who voice the characters) get wiped out of their servers one day. Let's just hope that day never comes.

Funny how an entire season of content is completely dependent on how my Toram account fares.

... Making fanworks is hard.

I did say semi-daily post, so it still works.

Anyways. Todays picture:

This drawing is like the last one based of SAO Integral Factor.

The run-down is kinda: MC is fighting a boss and struggling to dodge and block. Later on just attacks into attacks to deflect them.

This would be a normal scene, if my characters was using a sword, or other parry weapon.

I was using a bow and a thin rapier.

I thought it was kinda funny, so I drew the scene with the thought that it would work, but the rapier just snaps.

Boss depicted is a simplified design of Asura the Executioner from the game SAO Integral Factor by Asobimo.

A Homophobic Homosexual (Derogatory)

The newest addition to the Lesbian Magical Girl Cast (really need a proper name for these girls, not all of them are lesbians either), Lorraine is the amalgamation of various different plot threads and antagonists for Sabine to face. A classmate of Sabine and co, Lorraine hides her cruel and sadistic personality behind a sugar sweet, trendsetting persona. Skilled in science and biology, Lorraine takes a key interest in the nature of Curses, or more accurately Animal Curses and those who posses them. Her obsession with obtaining one of her own leads Lorraine down a very dark and sinister path, with her current target being Sabine. Although her eye would soon shift to another member of Sabine's friend group; the one who holds the more rare and elusive Plant Curse: Hanakawa Chiharu, going as far as to kidnap the girl to use as a test subject in her odd and cruel goal of obtaining what she believes she has been wrongly been denied

Lorraine is meant to be Sabine's antithesis. She dresses in a more modern, older teen look to offset Sabine's more (admittedly) childlike and cutesy appearance. She's meant to look like a girl who follows all the latest trends, or invents new ones (not to say that Sabine doesn't follow trends, she only tends to only adopt or experiment with ones that fit/can be fitted to her sense of style). The shade of green used to represent Lorraine's Civilian Appearance was originally a shade of blue similar to her Magic Color, but I ended up changing it to a light shade of green to differentiate them better. The similar shade to Vivika's Civilian Color is pure coincidence. Her hair is blonde because I don't have very many blonde OC's

Unlike the others, Lorraine's Magical Costume isn't based on a Dynasty Warriors character. There aren't a lot of characters that have similar personality traits as Lorraine, so I had to actually use what little skills in Character Design I have. Her weapon of choice is a baton, which she uses to summon and manipulate water. She can pull water out from the atmosphere, but she's at her best when next to a large body of it like a lake or river, as there is already a large supply of it, and it requires less energy to gather than precipitation. Lorraine doesn't like getting her hands dirty unless she needs to, and she is fully capable of using her baton traditionally. AKA she beats the shit out of you until you're unconscious (ASMR TO HELP YOU SLEEP)
