Is Luck a threat to the visitors? On a scale from 1-10 how hostile is he to the members/visitors?

Well, Luck is always avoiding everyone, he lives in the back of the mansion, but he always seems to observe interactions, he seems to mainly observe conversations where people smile or laugh. No one has tried to talk to him yet, he himself hasn't opened up, so I would say a 6/10.

Also, can I just say I love how split the people are when it comes to the opinion of Casimir? Cause when I created him, I always imagined that if he were a famous fictional character he would have a split fanbase where people like and dislike him.. kinda like those famous complex fictional characters? Example; kokichi from Danganronpa or Blitzo from helluva boss? Some people hate them because of their personalities and what they've done but the others think they're,,, how do I say this,, interesting and what they're doing makes sense in a way? Or just like them cause they're attractive in general? Yeah, something like that. (Reminds me of Belos from "the owl house")

Casimir sat quietly on a bench in the NRC courtyard, reading over a collection of pages. He'd flip through a few at a time, reading and rereading them, until he would sigh, flipping back to the start of the pages...

Eventually, he would seem to give up on a stack, turning to another collection of pages, and repeat the process before returning to a previous stack.

Tolys: I'm not terribly religious, but there is a certain comfort in having someone looking out for you.

Just a brief overview of the saints Lovino and Tolys mentioned. St. Agatha of Sicily was a Christian noblewoman who was killed during the Decian persecutions. She made a religious vow of chastity that a Roman prefect attempted to break. As punishment for rejecting him she was imprisoned and forced to "work" in a brothel. When this did not break her, she was tortured, most notably by having her breasts ripped off with hot tongs. This is why she is often depicted in art with tongs or presenting her breasts. A miraculous earthquake prevented her execution and supposedly St. Peter appeared to her and healed her wounds, but she eventually died in prison of unknown causes. Among other things, she is the patron saint of victims of torture, rape victims, breast cancer patients, fires, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions (particularly from Mt. Etna). As Lovino mentioned, she is the patron of Sicily, as well as the Sicilian city of Catania.

St. Christopher was also killed during the Decian persecutions. According to legend, he traveled to find a king who claimed great power, only to find he feared the devil. When he found a marauder who claimed to be the devil, he found that this criminal feared Christ. Learning this, he chose to become Christian and serve people by helping them cross a dangerous river. In doing this, he helped a small child across the river who was much heavier than he anticipated, and almost died in the process. After crossing, the child revealed himself to be an apparition of Christ, pleased with his work. Christopher was eventually beheaded after travelling to Lycia to help his fellow Christians. Among other things, he is the patron saint of travelers, transportation, bachelors, athletics, and storms. As Tolys mentioned, he is the patron of Vilnius, Lithuania's capital (Riga as well!)

Since you have interesting side characters are there any more you’re excited to share with us? 👀

Thank you! I’m so honored that so many people seem to be interesting in my side characters… I adore them all, but I think the ones I’m super excited to introduce, even if it’s just for one scene, are the various shopkeepers within Avalon.

Casimir, or simply Cas to the people he’s close to, is one such character — he owns the local tavern/inn within Avalon; called the Royal Oak. He’s an elven man that is quite tall, with a muscular build, a tattoo sleeve on his right arm (with ancient elven symbols), three claw mark scars across his chest, silver hair that’s styled away from his forehead, and sharp indigo eyes behind his glasses that always seem to slip down his nose during his rounds as the barkeep.

I think he’ll be an interesting character to interact with! Even if it only once that you get to do so (as far as I know that can always change as I get deeper into the story).

On the current royal family, I don't think there is any (yet). On the inner circle, Charlotte's father is known to be a womanizer, that's pretty much a given.

Madame Mère, Marie-Joséphine, is also said to have had a sulphurous past, and is rumoured to be a lesbian. This would explain why she was pregnant only once in her life - it was suspected that she and her husband didn't love each other. But she never commented publicly on the subject.

I think Napoléon IV was the source of many rumors of political machinations, both true and false!

Also, I think everyone in Francesim wonders whether Hortense is as wise and innocent as she seems. Given all the commotion she's caused with Oliver over the last few months

#3 - How did you choose their name? 

Usually I like to mull around character's names and their meaning and assign something I think is fitting to them but with Casimir initially it was a name I just really liked the sound and flow of and happily found it was used in France (since that's his country of origin). It means 'to destroy peace/the world' so also a happy accident there. Elegant but also vaguely menacing.

#1 - What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)? 

Mary evolved from the nosferatu PC in Bloodlines since that was my favorite clan to play, and as a result a lot of elements already had the framework set up. I guess the first thing I can really remember fleshing out in my head is her personality and her values, thinking of how an Anarch aligned high humanity Nosferatu would perceive her world and the game's events, how she'd react to them, her reasoning for making the choices she does. Her appearance and backstory flowed out of that in a kind of reverse engineering thing of me trying to suss out what would cause her to be that kind of person. Her name was last and comes from the little shoulder spikes I decided on for her appearance!

now i have the itch to play through bloodlines again

OKAY SO... i've talked a little bit about them already but here's a more detailed rundown!!

casimir (cas or cassie for short) is part of a nomadic "faction" of bounty/demon hunters in the post-apocalyptic wasteland that is what was eastern bloc during the cold war. the hunters have a sort of love-hate reputation, on one hand they're one of the only ones capable of handling the danger that a lot of demons and spirits pose on everyday basis. on the other, they're not known to be particularly generous in spite of that (they do sort of have the mentality of "survival of the fittest"), not to mention their disdain for demons extends towards the non-harmful or neutral ones - a good demon is a banished one. also they aren't fond of the divine either, wishing to overthrow the status of the gods worshipped across the land

cas is more... divided on the matter. they don't jump at the opportunity to kill any demon that they encounter (more of a hassle than anything) but WILL be distrustful. as for gods - they do find their worship ridiculous because as far as they were taught they didn't do shit as humanity was literally at its end. they certainly won't give their offerings at the altars they come across on their journey. and it's a mentality they grew up with, as they were taken in by a group of hunters when they found them as an orphaned child in one of the abandoned(?) soviet research facilities

as the story starts they're 17 and honestly quite skilled, a prodigy of sorts. the hunters do find them to be a valuable asset. cassie doesn't care for it that much though - all they want is to find a way to get out of the walls to the outside world. maybe it's foolish to believe that the situation is truly better beyond the iron curtain but hey, better try that than to slowly rot with demons at every corner. which eventually leads them to lviv as they look for intel and MAYBE a way to pass the never ending storms that make traveling so dangerous AND make the road towards west practically unpassable

casimir might come off as apathetic and a bit selfish, seemingly only fueled by their own goal and seeing others as nothing more than means to an end. it was the mentality they were raised into after all. not to mention that they're still a teenager with some deep attachment and intimacy issues lol hunters make for SHIT family. believe it or not they do have good intentions. they have a STRONG sense of justice, which makes their disdain for the gods all the more understandable as well as them genuinely believing to be in the right about their attitude towards all demons and spirits. they're fascinated by history and what The Ancestors (ie people who lived before the nuclear war) were like. they love learning!! also they're big fan of white chocolate (don't ask how people managed to be able to still make it after the world ended in eastern europe of all places. soviets did some crazy shit here). they like krówki also- a sweets kind of guy :)

they have a hard time forming bonds though due to their messed up upbringing and what not. BUT they manage to find themselves two adoptive uncles hehe. nikolai and elias, two enigmatic brothers who seem to know a lot more than they let on... yeah spoiler alert they're actually the two leading gods in slavic faith lol. so it's kind of funny to watch them slowly growing to consider each other a real family while the two are something that cassie was taught to hate. they do get over that mentality though. kind of. everything is complicated

kind of crazy that they involved themselves with gods of all things. there's no chosen one in this story. however there is something about them that nikolai found... intriguing and concerning at the same time, hence why he continued interacting with them. long story short casimir may not be as human as they thought they were
