twst anime news!! (finally, lol)

The Twisted Wonderland anime is confirmed to be an adaptation of the main story!! The animation will be handled by Yumeta Company x Graphinicia and can be streamed on Disney+.

Seasons 1-3 have been greenlit. The first season, Episode of Heartslabyul, airs in October of 2025!! 🌹

Seasons 2 and 3 are dedicated to Savanaclaw and Octavinelle, respectively. No dates have been announced for those yet.

UPDATE: According to this tweet from Yana, it sounds like the anime will be an adaptation of the comics/manga adaptation.

After events that occurred in the celestial kingdom, Captain was punished for his actions and sent on an impossible mission, not even having time to rest from the last mission… After a risky battle, he managed to complete at least part of his mission, but had to flee as he was seriously injured. He ended up in a forest in the region of humans, coming across an honorable paladin, using his last strength he tried to possess the paladin, but he ended up hitting the necklace with an imprisoning stone

Captain: …Great, who would have thought that damn paladin would have an imprisonment crystal right in his chest… Ah… I'm finished… Destiny did it… finally… just wait… for him to arrive and I'm-

Captain: …I felt a presence… And it's not the paladin…?

Captain: …Boy, the arrow is wrong… And your posture sucks…

Captain: It doesn't even seem like you want to do this… Are you trying to end my "suffering"?

Captain: Well… Assistant always says "not to refuse help"… I'll listen to him this time... Thanks boy, I appreciate it... Because I'm tired of so many people trying to kill me for no reason… And I also thank you because…

Captain: If that Paladin keeps you here and you're so weak… it means you're important to him…

Seeing the drawings of Pacót/Louie dancing Capoeira really inspired my inner Brazilian self to draw some poses too u.u

Aqui estão algumas versões do desenho que ru gostei bastante, uma com o pequeno detalhe da calda de pavão, e outras duas versões apenas com o png das silhuetas e o fundo porque eu achei muito maneiro kkk

Alguns detalhes e referências que eu também gostaria de citar são que, pelo fato da Capoeira ser uma dança de origem afro-brasileira, eu também tentei trazer alguns elementos de matriz africana no design da roupa do Louie.

Eu pensei em roupas e bijuterias inspiradas em alguns orixás da Umbanda/Candomblé, principalmente me baseando nos desenhos acima (Retratando, rspectivamente, Exú e Iemanjá).

No entanto, é engraçado porque fiz a paleta dele mais puxada para as cores de Ogum kkkk

Outro detalhe, na maquiagem, é que apesar de tentar me inspirar mais em maquiagens afro-brasileiras, consegui ter a ideia de encaixar o rosto de um pavão nela kkkk

Enfim, eu só queria contar essas curiosidades sobre os detalhes porque fiquei bem empolgada na hora de desenhar kkkk De novo, espero que goste!! ❤️

I've been forgetting to post here and I had no idea so I decided to do a little rant about the things that are happening lol

But that's it, there's not much to say. I finished the Enem (Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio/National High School Exam), my grade probably wasn't good and now I just have to keep busy finishing the 4th semester and finishing high school. :D

Also, I have an idea of how to continue the story and Amy's origin if you guys want.
