Omgg the castings for jewels in the mariinksy are out!!! Apparently it's going to be a collaboration between the artists of both companies, bolshoi and mariinsky. As far as I recall kokoreva will dance with Kim in and sergeenkova with askerov. (The rest is emeralds for mariinsky and rubies for the bolshoi and so on) This is beyond exciting!!!! A fresh idea, I hope we get enough videos!

In our spiritual life, faith can also be seen as a type of bridge—one that links us, who were once far from God, to His promises (Isaiah 59:2). This span is foundational to our relationship with the Lord, offering hope on our journey. And the more we immerse ourselves in God’s Word and absorb His principles, the stronger this bridge of faith becomes. We can depend on it to provide safety as we navigate life’s trials.

As believers, we can find comfort knowing we’re connected to God’s love, grace, and redemption. Through faith, we can walk boldly on the path Jesus has laid out for us, safely traversing chasms of danger and doubt.

Whenever you see a bridge, let it serve as a symbol of how faith unites us with the living God and guides us to abundant life in Him. And keep in mind that a regular intake of Scripture reinforces our “bridge,” adding to its strength and stability.”

you got most of the castings right, just not the pairs 😭 it's okay i didn't expect these either! i'm just happy khiteeva gets her shot :)

Yes!! I’m so excited to see this! I suspected that Khiteeva would get a shot because she was in the premiere performance of Sergeev’s “Concert Dances” and she had JUST been promoted to 1st soloist with a fairly limited repertoire. Now, I hope they release more behind the scenes videos. And I’d like to see a more expanded cast list, not just the main roles.

I am also very delighted that Novikova is included! More to come, I hope!

Do you think the MT is having a shortage of male principals? I love Kimin Kim and Vladimir Shklyarov but other than that i'm not obsessed with anyone else :(

Also, would you happen to know why Kimin Kim mostly seems to dance with Tereshkina these days? I loved him with Khoreva!

Definitely, the Mariinsky male principals are at a vulnerable point right now, especially after losing Parish and Caixeta. I love Kim, Shklyarov, and Ivanchenko, but Ivanchenko is practically retired and Shklyarov only has a few more years in him. I'm also not a huge fan of Askerov or Yermakov. I've found Askerov to be kinda awkward in a lot of roles and I've just never gotten into Yermakov.

I think Stepin should totally be a principal and I'd like for him to be promoted to fill things out a bit. However, he's a 2005 grad, so he's not exactly on the younger side either.

I would say that it's likely that eventually Belyakov and Konovalov will be promoted to Principal as well as Korneyev a little later.

They also seem to really be pushing the recent joiner Even Capitaine. I haven't seen a lot of Capitaine yet though, so I can't really speak to him.

As for the question about Kimin Kim's partners recently, I'm not really sure about that. I also really liked him with Khoreva, but perhaps something personal happened between them 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. I don't know.
