Here, different versions of Sonic and Shadow are inexplicably trapped in this big white room with strange properties…

How did they get here? How will they get out? All to find out!

For now, questions and other items are occasionally dropped from the ceiling! Let’s meet everyone, shall we?

Meet our main cast of Sonic’s!

*Snap is from a little bit after the Sonic Adventure 2 games. A reference… to something?

*Ego comes from the Sonic X Anime. Named for the weird confident way he talks.

*King Arthur is a “fanon” take on what a real King Arthur Sonic could be like from Sonic and the Black Knight.

*Classic hails from the older Sonic games, named after his era. He cannot/does not talk.

*Prism comes from Sonic Prime. He’s got a bit of experience with this alternate universe stuff…

*Pipsqueak is from the Sonic & Friends shorts and merch line.

*Bandi comes from the Sonic Boom universe, named after his Bandanna and Bandages.

*Latch comes from the Sonic Live Action Movie verse, named after his connected eyes.

*Eight originates from the Sonic IDW comics, placed just after the eradication of the metal virus, he spends most of his time catching up on sleep.

And now onto our Shadows!

*OG comes from the Sonic Adventure 2 games, noticeably Low-Poly along with Snap…

*Mania, bastard, comes from the Sonic X Anime.

*Sir Lancelot is from Sonic and the Black Knight: a version of Shadow who’s always gone by Lancelot.

*Little guy is from the Sonic & Friends shorts and merch line.

*Paradox is from the Sonic Prime universe! Out of everyone, he and Prism are taking the lead on finding out what’s going on.

*Boost heeds from the Sonic Boom universe. He is the most aggressive and grumpy of all the Shadows.

*Reeves comes from the Sonic Live Action Movie verse. Latch give him the nickname based on a so called “national treasure” whatever that means.

*Shade is from the Sonic IDW Comics. Likely one of the weaker Shadows at the moment unfortunately.

Tada!!! I updated Rose's design a bit!!! (She's one of my Sonamy fankids for those unaware.) The art in her old pic was like over a year old, so I figured since Elise got a small redesign recently, I might as well do Rose too! (I'll slowly do the rest of the Hedgehog Family and the Robotnik Family too, I promise.) I mostly only changed Rose's quills since I felt they most desperately needed an update. I kept her suit and boots the same since I love them so much. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I want to design Rose a casual outfit at some point. We'll see if I actually get around to that.

For those unfamiliar with Rose, I'll go over her personality and such under the cut!

Rose Hedgehog is the middle child in Sonic and Amy's family. Her older siblings are the twins Joy and Lux, and her younger siblings are Elise and Chip.

Rose is 12 years old. She's very spunky, ambitious, and tends to get into trouble quite a bit by accident. Her dream goal is to become a hero by the time she turns 15. So she's only got 3 years to go! Better hurry up!

Rose can summon a weapon much like Amy can summon her Piko Piko Hammer. Rose's weapon is a staff! She can increase it's length, but not excessively. It maxes out at like a few feet.

Rose has a bit of a passion for design! She designed her suit and boots all by herself and then took the designs to Uncle Tails, who made them a reality for her. She has quite a few notebooks filled with sketches of clothes. Some people have suggested she become a designer when she grows up, but Rose has dismissed those ideas every time. This is just a hobby! She wants to become a hero like her parents!

Sonic's parents (movie verse) and how Sonic came to live with Longclaw.

I've been thinking about my own ideas involving Sonic's biological parents (movie verse), and I wanted to share them.

I had some different ideas, but recently I've reworked them and here is what I have so far in my notes:

- Sonic's mother was a free spirit, and loved to travel. She came from a small village, but would often take off with little a word. She didn't have much family, only a father who was old and set in his ways.

- Her name was Azolla.

- She loved nature, and the freedom of wandering. Being on the road meant experiencing new adventures everyday.

- While on one of these travels, Azolla stopped off at another small village and met a rugged and wild male hedgehog called Myo. The two hit it off immediately and spent a night together, before parting ways.

- Only a month or so after that encounter, Azolla found that she was pregnant. Knowing that Myo had also left that village and would be impossible to track down now, Azolla had to swallow the fact that she was going to have to raise her baby. One thing that made her fight through anything was her unwavering personality.

- Azolla travelled back to her village so she could give birth (as was expected for their group).

- Meanwhile, Myo, unable to get Azolla out of his mind, was determined to find her. Azolla may have been brash, but Myo was arguably the most stubborn hedgehog on the darn planet! He travelled back to the village they stayed at, asked for which direction Azolla had gone in, and followed the trail. His journey was long, with numerous stops and asking at other villages and settlements if they had seen a beautiful sky blue hedgehog.

- Some months passed and Myo finally made it to Azolla's village. Desperate to find her, he tried asking around, only to unintentionally meet her father, who cursed and attempted to drive Myo away.

- Azolla arrived to stop her father, and the two lovers finally saw each other again after months. Myo was more than shocked to discover that she was pregnant. It all got digested in milliseconds, but Myo assured Azolla that he would be there for her and support their baby.

- The two settled into a small hut together in the village. Myo learnt about Azolla's village and culture, and Azolla learnt more about Myo's life - that he had been a lone wanderer all his life, from when he was very young, he was free as the wind, and he had never settled.

- One night, Azolla told Myo that she believed they were having a boy. She couldn't explain why, just that she had a feeling.

- Some time later, close to when the baby was due, the two of them started to discuss the idea of going off and continuing their travels. This time as the two of them and their child.

- Azolla's father was against this, but grew to understand his daughter was old enough to make decisions. However, part of him really wished that she would reconsider.

- The village was also once acquainted with the owl tribe from many years ago. The last one left, Longclaw, was seen as a protector and friend of the village. Azolla saw her as an elder to confide in.

- Azolla gave birth to a healthy baby boy, with Myo by her side.

- Shortly after their son was born, the couple decided to leave. As was true her nature, Azolla left with very little word to anyone, even her own father, but left a goodbye gift.

- On the road once again, the couple and their child flourished. The child proved to have a love for nature just as much as his parents, little hands grabbing up at every small animal and plant they came across. Tiny ears twitching at the sounds of the wind and the grass. Azolla would show him plants up close, and her son would look on in delight and wonder.

- Not even before his first birthday, their son started showing signs of his powers. One minute he would be crawling, the next he would zip away then be back again in a millisecond. Myo and Azolla had no idea what caused this, but they both agreed it would just be another thing they had to handle.

- It became clear though, that rumors were spreading about their son's abilities, and things started to get wary. At first it started with questions from residents of wherever they spent the night. But it became clear that they were being followed by whispers.

- Azolla looked more into this and learnt that it was to do with Chaos Energy. Something her son possessed and would be sought after.

- The two agreed to keep moving and protect their son whatever the odds. Unfortunately, one day, the couple were pursued and cornered by bandits looking to claim the power. They never saw their faces, but their stature looked to be lizard like.

- Myo told Azolla to run with their son, while he stayed to fight the bandits off. He did not make it out...

- Azolla ran as fast as she could, clutching her crying son to her chest. She found herself at a fast flowing river, with no safe way to cross. Knowing the bandits were on them, and knowing they wanted her son, she made a decision to use a woven basket she carried in her supplies to send him down the river.

- Her eyes filled with tears as she kissed him goodbye and sent him down the rapids. Just then the bandits arrived. Before she could act, they struck her over the head with their weapon, and she fell into the water.

- The baby, still crying, drifted down the swollen river, until he ended up on the shores of a bank, where a certain owl discovered him.

ROSE & RASCAL ( dangerous newcomers) — These new enemies appeared on the scene without warning, and, for reasons yet unknown, are focused single-mindedly on killing Sonic and Tails! Could the mad Doctor Starline have anything to do with it? As if the murder attempts weren’t enough, Sonic can’t quite shake the feeling that Rose is vaguely familiar…

Amy (renamed Rose by Starline after rebuilding her) and Cream (renamed Rascal by Starline after rebuilding her) were relatively normal people before they were kidnapped and memory - wiped by Dr. Starline — and all for the purpose of replacing Sonic as the world's hero. Rose's existing strength was heavily augmented, making her outright superhuman; additionally, she can match Sonic's speed, making her a dangerous enemy indeed! Starline gave her the hammer as a "gift," and it weighs roughly three tons. Rascal was designed to be the agile to Rose's strong and, additionally, has a mental link with a chao - shaped drone that can assist her in attacks. Unknown to Starline, Amy and Sonic exchanged letters as children, though they never actually met.

SURGE & KIT ( old friends ) — Heroes and longtime friends of Sonic; Surge met Sonic when both challenged Metal at Little Planet and they've been rivals and best friends since! Kit met Surge later and joined the group. Both want to help Sonic deal with Rose and Rascal, but they have different ideas of how to do it…

Surge and Kit are longtime friends of Sonic et al; Surge and Sonic may bicker like they hate each other, but underneath their playful rivalry is sincere affection for one another — they're besties! Kit's been one of the gang nearly as long. Surge has impressive speed at her disposal, but not to Sonic's extent; her primary strength is her innate manipulation of lightning! While Kit may not consider himself a combattant, he can control water, and he and Tails worked together to build a technologically advanced backpack that that would ensure Kit always has water to work with. They don't know all the details about their friends' would-be copies, but they've made sure Sonic and Tails know they're there if either needs a hand. That being said, Kit really wants to see the newcomers saved, while Surge just wants them beaten by any means necessary.

11, for all your OCs?

11. Does your OC smile often? What's their smile like?

Silkie is very bubbly and is pretty much always smiling! Even if she's upset, she does her best to keep up a happy appearance.

Lapis's smile is very self-assured and a little bit challenging. They smile often, whether they're fighting, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing on its own.

M.A.R.C.Y. doesn't have a mouth, but whenever she's happy, she closes her eyes so she can smile with them as best she can!

Red also has a very self-assured smile, but they don't smile as much as Lapis does. Their default expression is more of a bored glare, but they still smile when around friends.

Emmy has a lot of energy, and that comes across in her frequent smiles! Hers isn't as bubbly as Silkie's, though, or as much of a smirk as Red and Lapis's; hers is more of a devilish grin.

Verse's mouth is covered most of the time, but like M.A.R.C.Y., he smiles with his eyes a lot. Rather than closing or squinting his eyes, though, he opens them wide and lets them shine!

Hyper also has a very bubbly personality and also tends to smile a lot! Like Verse, though, she smiles with their eyes open and sparkling.

Coffee is smiling most of the time thanks to her job in customer service. Even outside it, though, she makes an effort to do what she loves and spend time with people she cares about, so she ends up smiling a lot naturally. She tends to keep her mouth closed when she smiles rather than grinning.

Rift's smile is very similar to Lapis's; it's very self-assured and daring. He doesn't smile as much as Lapis does, though; he smiles around friends or after sending a climbing route, but most of the time, he keeps a relatively neutral expression.

Chaser very rarely smiles. Not only does he tend to be rather irritable naturally, but also he uses his annoyed frown as a defense mechanism to keep people from bothering him. When he does smile, though, it's small, but very genuine.

OMT!Tails: Good morning, speedsters and music lovers, loud and proud from the Blur HQ, and you're listening to SEGAVerse Blur Bangers! I'm your host for today, Tails from Dimension MP-2021!

OMT!Mina: And I'm your co-host, Mina Mongoose from the same place!

OMT!Tails: And boy, have we got some exciting things lined up for today! Today is June 23rd, the official anniversary date for Sonic the Hedgehog, which kickstarted all of us, in a way.

OMT!Mina: A lot has happened in the past 33 years, and it's those 33 years that brought us as the Blur Gang together today. We've undergone a lot of adventures across different worlds in our image, and met tons of amazing friends in general!

OMT!Tails: Before we continue, I wanted to thank my fellow Blur Gang teammates in the recording studio today for helping set up the whole operation for us!

Nine: Heh, you got it, Tails! It's a pleasure to be doing this today with you all.

OMT!Tails: Now, you might be wondering; "Tails, why have you and your team started a radio station today?" Well, partly because of the anniversary, and also because of the radio venture the Sonic and Tails from Dimension GB-2024 have done. You guys, if you're hearing this, keep going strong with Spin Dash Radio!

Nine: That's why he came to me today. I set up the radio station since I finished preparing the Blur HQ for us, but it hasn't gone into use until today, in part thanks to all the craziness we endured in the last 8 months, and I'm happy to get it going! And so here we are, bringing you the music that keeps the SEGAVerse's heroes going strong over the years!

OMT!Tails: Brilliant! Come on up, Sonic!

Sonic Prime came onto the recording stage.

Sonic Prime: Hey, everyone! The original Sonic the Hedgehog here! Fastest thing alive, Blue Blur, speed demon, yeah, you get the idea. Thanks for inviting me onto this event, guys!

OMT!Tails: No problem, Sonic!

Sonic Prime: Heh, the popcorn on the way in was sweet! The chilli flavour's gotta be my favourite.

OMT!Mina: So, Sonic. We called you here for a small interview for the audience listening out there! Just a bit of a sum-up about how you've been doing as of late.

Sonic Prime: Ah, sweet! Not too different from the Sonic Takeovers on Twitter and TikTok, huh?

BK!Amy: C-Can we still call it that?

Sonic Prime: I'm definitely still calling it that.

OMT!Tails: Anyways! So, what's your latest outing been like?

Sonic Prime: Well, of all things, Eggy's been trying to stop me with these strange figurines of us and my friends and rivals. Not sure what he planned out about it, but it was quite the fun trip down memory lane, and I hope you guys out there will have fun checking it out on your mobile devices!

OMT!Mina: Sounds pretty interesting! How've your friends been doing back home?

Sonic Prime: Well, just the same as ever, of course. Tails, Knuckles and Amy have definitely grown a lot since I last saw them. Tails has been doing plenty of solo ventures, Knuckles has been seeing the world, and Amy's definitely been doing well in sharing her love to the world.

Mini Sonic: And I'm guessing Baldy McNosehair's barely changed much?

Sonic Prime: Eh, you could say that. Hey, didn't you say there was one region of Little Planet I somehow skipped out on entirely?

OMT!Tails: Dubious Depths, right?

Sonic Prime: Yeah, that's the one! Only thing I remember about it was avoiding a pit trap laid there, and I quickly got on my way after that. I'm sure the Time Stones quickly undid any meddling Eggman did there.

OMT!Mina: Mhm.

OMT!Tails: So, last question before we let you get back to your daily routine of running around; what kind of advice do you have to share to the audience out there?

Sonic Prime: Well, I say keep your will to achieve your aspirations high, fellow speedsters! The road to get there is a tough one, I'm not gonna lie, but if you believe in yourself and have the drive to overcome the hurdles in your way, you can do anything!

OMT!Tails: Excellently said, Sonic!

Sonic Prime: Well, guess that's my time to get back home!

Amelia: Mhm. Her name's Rose, and I've had her since I was a little girl!

BK!Amy: Aww, that's such a nice name!

Amelia: Thanks, Amy. I named her after my late grandmother, Rosemary Walten.

OMT!Tails: Rosemary, huh? I'm guessing you saw the tapes and files your mom had, right?

Amelia: Yeah. It's... really tragic how low the Bon's Burgers stuff fell when those who would've been my uncle and auntie got killed by accident.

Mini Sonic: Man, that sounds nasty. I'm sorry to hear that, ma'am.

Amelia: It's alright. I'm sure they would've wanted me to stay strong for their sakes, like how my mums did when they adopted me as a baby.

OMT!Tails: Heh, that was such a sweet start. Well, time for a bit of a cool-off after all those exciting songs before. As fun as it is to have a blast from the past in our previous two mixes, it's only fitting that we shift gears into the here and now of music.

CR!Sonic: Yeah. I only just got here, but I felt it'd be fitting for us to start the next mix with my introduction. Running's great and all, but when I'm not doing that, I see myself on a beach or under a tree's shade chilling out and watching nature thrive. So this next mix will comprise of some more tranquil melodies, both from our games and from SEGA as a whole.

CR!Sonic: Well, I'm sure many of you are no stranger to the upcoming port of Sonic Generations with that Shadow sidestory, right?

OMT!Mina: Mhm! With the Shadow costume Superstars Sonic got the other day, this is definitely the Year of Shadow at the moment.

Wacky: Too right. I'm proud of the guy for coming this far already!

Hog: What's so hype about Shadow, anyway? Well, aside from what I saw him pull off during EggOmega's madness.

CR!Sonic: Well, he's proven a match for any Sonic, sacrificed himself to stop the ARK destroying a world, and even pulled off attempting to redeem villains in different dimensions!

Hog: Now, that's pretty impressive stuff there.

Nitro: Isn't there also that new Super Monkey Ball game coming out on the Switch in a couple of days?

OMT!Mina: Ah, yeah! I really like how it's still respecting the roots of the stuff while not being a remaster of a prior game.

Wacky: Me too. The story's pretty neat as well, with all those cutscenes and dialogue to do with them. I'm looking forward to seeing how it comes along!

OMT!Mina: Me too!

BK!Amy: You know, why don't we have some more calming songs to continue the relaxation period?

CR!Sonic: Aside from discussion on the latest SEGA releases, nothing much.

OMT!Tails: Ah, well. This is definitely a fun endeavour thus far! I'd say we're really hitting our stride!

EX!Alice: Yeah. I'm still getting used to audio mixing, but this is absolutely fun! Who knew working under some pressure would be a bit more exciting?

Mini Sonic: And thanks to the support of our listeners out there, there's no telling how far we can get to.

OMT!Tails: With that, where do we go next for our event today?

Mr. NM: Yeah. I heard you were all up here doing this, so I thought... why not?

OMT!Mina: Fair enough.

Nine: Don't tell me you've gone and smashed that vase in the living room again.

Mr. NM: Er, hehe... Whoops.

Nine: Rats. This is, like, the seventh vase I'm gonna have to replace. Next time, I'm getting one that's nowhere near as fragile as the others.

Mr. NM: So, we're celebrating the 33rd anniversary of the guy that inspired my design? Awesome! What are we doing next? A rematch with the Ring Racers?

OMT!Mina: Ah, yeah. That reminds me about the game's release based on them. It wasn't received all too well upon launch, and even with its patches to fix issues, people have still been bashing it for how technically-complex the vehicles are compared to your run-of-the-mill kart racers.

OMT!Tails: It's a shame, really. The game's been in development for a whole five years, and I get the contentions people had with it, but it didn't deserve that much backlash.

Mr. NM: Not even with the cheating CPUs and the difficulty of the... you know.

Nitro: Those points aside, the art direction is really good, porting Genesis levels into 3D no problem, and downgrading the Dreamcast levels with little to no issue. If anything, the single-player content made it more than worth the wait.

Lilac: Considering my past discovery of me and Sonic having those connected ties, this is something I couldn't miss out on.

Lilac: Heh, thanks, Trip!

BK!Amy: So, I take it you've been hearing the past mixes we've been throwing out?

Lilac: Yep. And I recognised the last one in the previous mix as being composed in the past by the lady who had a hand in making my game's soundtracks. That's why I decided to come straight here!

OMT!Mina: We're honoured!

Trip: So if you're a dragon, and I've been meaning to ask this for a bit, but are you able to breath fire?

Lilac: Well, that's a bit different. I'm a water dragon, so I'm not really capable of it. I'm really good at swimming, though!

Trip: Cool! I can breathe little fireballs out! Watch this!

She puffed and blew one into the air that went out very shortly after.

OMT!Tails: Woah! I never knew you could do that! Great work, Trip!

Trip: Heh, thank you.

Lilac: Well, how about another set of songs? Sonic himself has definitely inspired other developers to make their own games based on the high-speed he's often involved with, so I thought this next mix could be dedicated to any indie games that have top speed as the aim of their game!

OMT!Tails: You had a whole 25 minutes to get yourself sorted out. Plus, you're a cartoon. Can't you flip yourself back into shape easily?

Mr. NM: Oh, yeah! (does so) Why didn't I think of that before?

OMT!Mina: I mean, any cartoon with those physics is capable of doing that.

CR!Sonic: Alright. So, we're nearing the end of the event now, and there's only one more mix we've got lined up.

OMT!Tails: Before we do that, though, it's time to give today's Gallop Lotto numbers a spin! Mighty, could you fire up the machine?

D-Sides Mighty: You got it!

He leapt into the Gallop Lotto warper as the lotto machine dispersed the balls that rolled around. The winning numbers were deposited out one-by-one.

OMT!Mina: Alright, folks. Today's winning numbers are... 04, 05, 2X and 03! And the winnings are 24 rings to whoever got the numbers today!

CR!Sonic: They stayed at home to listen to the radio, but they've both been rootin' for me today.

OMT!Tails: Sweet! Well, I guess that wraps up the main event. I know not all of us could be here for the event itself, but it was definitely a great time all around!

EX!Alice: We should definitely find a way to make more room for our radio station. More comfy seats, a green room for guests, catering from across the multiverse...

Lilac: And we could definitely invite some of our friends from the Quill Society to have interviews from time-to-time. Heh, Carol would be geeking out just thinking about being on radio.

HI SO I'M THINKING ABOUT MY ECLIPSE'S FAMILY MEMBERS DARKLING OCS AGAIN. AND I THOUGHT OF SOMETHING.

What would Doleon think of Nebula, Deimos, and Solstice? Specifically I'm wondering what he'd think of Nebula since she and Black Doom have such an. Interesting relationship. She's the Darkling he deemed worthy enough to mother his second son. She's the only Darkling who's ever come CLOSE to talking back to him and lived to tell the tale. GAH I HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE I'M JUST FASCINATED BY THIS IDEA. HOW WOULD DOLEON REACT TO HER AND HER FAMILY. 👀

I’m thinking with Nebula, he’d for sure find her an interesting case. The way she seems like so much of a nervous wreck in his eyes (which is good, she’ll do what she’s told,) but at the same time, have the confidence to even dare to speak up against her universes Doom (or Doleon himself, if you mean it like that) And for some KIDS, nonetheless? She’s weak. Yet he can’t fully understand her. Maybe it’s because he’s forgotten what it’s like to be willing to do anything for those you love. He’d be keeping an eye on her for sure.

With Deimos, I think it would be interesting if the first thing Doleon finds out about is his rebellious nature. Thats bad. He might just become a problem and Doleon REALLY doesn’t need any more of that. He led a whole thing against that universes Doom, it seems. Unworthy little brat. Blinding him wasn't enough, someone should put him in his place.

Solstice for him is simple. Stupid baby child thing 💀 Isn’t even of any worth yet. But she isn’t a problem, as of now, so not much of an opinion other than that has been formed.

Long story short : Nebula confuses him a little, Deimos needs to be watched, and Solstice is just there. On the other hand : I now want Terios to meet the Darkling’s

I was thinking about your post of Shadow saying what the fish and it made me think of Prime Shadow saying it.

The scu boys either think it's hilarious or that it's sad that his dad doesn't let him swear either 😔

XD I love this so much. Sonic W is dying of laughter every time Shadow says it and Little Silver feels bad that he's not allowed to swear.

He blinks after coming to a stop a few moments ago, turning and looking, peering slightly before his eyes widen before zipping on over.

"Shadow, didnt expect you to be out here." out here being somewhere in the wilderness man it do be crazy how often he bumps into people.

"you out here for sightseeing." he says with a light smirk. "or are you out here doing essential shadow things"

The ebony hedgehog looked up at Sonic's approach, the blue blur wasn't anything particularly new, but he could sense that this was not his zone's Sonic, it was clearly someone else, even if the blue blur himself hadn't noticed that this wasn't the same zone's Shadow just yet.

Umbra gave a huff, "I didn't come to sightsee, and I'm not sure what you mean by essential Shadow things, but it's not that either. I just needed a space to think." He gave a reply in a grumble.

"Which you are currently dutifully interrupting... as per your usual." The ebony hedgehog can't resist tacking on the more obvious statement, as Sonic coming up had broken him off his train of thought regarding the vivid dreams he'd been having since the White Space. Even while helping handle the Metal Virus, he'd been having them consistently, and it was beginning to bother him that he couldn't figure out why beyond that he existed in that space for a while.

"Since I asked Shadow I should ask you- What's your favorite memory with Longclaw?"

“Ooh.. hum.. good question buddy, lets see..”

Sonic hums, and puts a paw to his chin in thought. He even has to sit down- which he usually hates doing- to actually think of what his FAVORITE memory could be. He seems conflicted, quills sparking from his heavy thoughts, which could.. probably be seen as a bad thing. Afterall sonics quills lit up and sparked when he was mad or feeling negative, or usually in a fight. It was just.. the bad thoughts of remembering some things he rather wouldnt between the good memories. Finally, he speaks up.

“Okay, i cant pick JUST one. So i have afew..

The oldest one i have is one where i had both of my owl parents— yeah believe it or not? Longclaw had a mate awhile back! Thats how they found me. My mother abandoned, or tried to eat me? Cant remember the specifics. And the two found me. Her mate, and my dads, name was Sharpshooter. He was REALLY quick in the air and was almost like a flurry of feathers when he started flying! Hes why i always wanted to hone my speeds, to be like him. Sharpshooter and Longclaw had this really fun idea, since i was always complaining about how i never look like them because im a hedgehog. They both collected their feathers they’d preen from eachothers fur and ones that’d fall out, and they started decorating me with them! I looked like a feathery hedgehog, covered head to toe in feathers and given little sharp hooks to wedge between my pawpads, safely, to mimic talons. They called me a special little fledgling.

Another time was when i’d participate in owl traditions! We’d got up to the canopies and start collecting dying leaves from the trees before they fell and also from the floor, then we’d decorate our home and help the nearby owl neighbors aswell! Leaves of all colors strung up like how humans string up party streamers, it was to help eachother find our tree-homes in the midst of all the cold snow and white blindness.

And.. Sharpshooter was alot more cuddly than longclaw, believe it or not. They werent like the typical mating pair. Mom would go out and stay vigil and watch the trees for echidnas and snuff them out if they got too close, while i’d stay in the tree with dad, and we’d make little toys out of the peeling-off bark from the walls, he’d also teach me how to defend myself incase i was ever caught by an echidna alone. But i.. i feel like i.. failed him and his teachings because.. i forgot how to do the moves he taught me when knuckles attacked.. i- i dont blame knuckles, he was fooled by that egg-butt— i just.. i guess i still feel guilty.. for.. more reasons you proobably dont need to know, lil buddy.

But.. yeah, those were the best memories i can recall of them. I wish you guys could’ve met them.. they’d really like you guys, im sure of it. Well.. eh.. mmaybe not knux.. but uh, im sure if they were aliive i could convince them? But.. yk ow their not so uh- yeah thats just- i should probably shut up now.”

Sonic huffs and rubs the back of his quills with a semi nervous little grin that dies out. Somethings clearly on his mind talking about his parents but he.. doesn’t think tails needs to hear it. Its too dark of a subject for a little fox. Especially a little fox with an echidna as their oldest brother.
