Tada!!! I updated Rose's design a bit!!! (She's one of my Sonamy fankids for those unaware.) The art in her old pic was like over a year old, so I figured since Elise got a small redesign recently, I might as well do Rose too! (I'll slowly do the rest of the Hedgehog Family and the Robotnik Family too, I promise.) I mostly only changed Rose's quills since I felt they most desperately needed an update. I kept her suit and boots the same since I love them so much. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I want to design Rose a casual outfit at some point. We'll see if I actually get around to that.

For those unfamiliar with Rose, I'll go over her personality and such under the cut!

Rose Hedgehog is the middle child in Sonic and Amy's family. Her older siblings are the twins Joy and Lux, and her younger siblings are Elise and Chip.

Rose is 12 years old. She's very spunky, ambitious, and tends to get into trouble quite a bit by accident. Her dream goal is to become a hero by the time she turns 15. So she's only got 3 years to go! Better hurry up!

Rose can summon a weapon much like Amy can summon her Piko Piko Hammer. Rose's weapon is a staff! She can increase it's length, but not excessively. It maxes out at like a few feet.

Rose has a bit of a passion for design! She designed her suit and boots all by herself and then took the designs to Uncle Tails, who made them a reality for her. She has quite a few notebooks filled with sketches of clothes. Some people have suggested she become a designer when she grows up, but Rose has dismissed those ideas every time. This is just a hobby! She wants to become a hero like her parents!

Sonic's parents (movie verse) and how Sonic came to live with Longclaw.

I've been thinking about my own ideas involving Sonic's biological parents (movie verse), and I wanted to share them.

I had some different ideas, but recently I've reworked them and here is what I have so far in my notes:

- Sonic's mother was a free spirit, and loved to travel. She came from a small village, but would often take off with little a word. She didn't have much family, only a father who was old and set in his ways.

- Her name was Azolla.

- She loved nature, and the freedom of wandering. Being on the road meant experiencing new adventures everyday.

- While on one of these travels, Azolla stopped off at another small village and met a rugged and wild male hedgehog called Myo. The two hit it off immediately and spent a night together, before parting ways.

- Only a month or so after that encounter, Azolla found that she was pregnant. Knowing that Myo had also left that village and would be impossible to track down now, Azolla had to swallow the fact that she was going to have to raise her baby. One thing that made her fight through anything was her unwavering personality.

- Azolla travelled back to her village so she could give birth (as was expected for their group).

- Meanwhile, Myo, unable to get Azolla out of his mind, was determined to find her. Azolla may have been brash, but Myo was arguably the most stubborn hedgehog on the darn planet! He travelled back to the village they stayed at, asked for which direction Azolla had gone in, and followed the trail. His journey was long, with numerous stops and asking at other villages and settlements if they had seen a beautiful sky blue hedgehog.

- Some months passed and Myo finally made it to Azolla's village. Desperate to find her, he tried asking around, only to unintentionally meet her father, who cursed and attempted to drive Myo away.

- Azolla arrived to stop her father, and the two lovers finally saw each other again after months. Myo was more than shocked to discover that she was pregnant. It all got digested in milliseconds, but Myo assured Azolla that he would be there for her and support their baby.

- The two settled into a small hut together in the village. Myo learnt about Azolla's village and culture, and Azolla learnt more about Myo's life - that he had been a lone wanderer all his life, from when he was very young, he was free as the wind, and he had never settled.

- One night, Azolla told Myo that she believed they were having a boy. She couldn't explain why, just that she had a feeling.

- Some time later, close to when the baby was due, the two of them started to discuss the idea of going off and continuing their travels. This time as the two of them and their child.

- Azolla's father was against this, but grew to understand his daughter was old enough to make decisions. However, part of him really wished that she would reconsider.

- The village was also once acquainted with the owl tribe from many years ago. The last one left, Longclaw, was seen as a protector and friend of the village. Azolla saw her as an elder to confide in.

- Azolla gave birth to a healthy baby boy, with Myo by her side.

- Shortly after their son was born, the couple decided to leave. As was true her nature, Azolla left with very little word to anyone, even her own father, but left a goodbye gift.

- On the road once again, the couple and their child flourished. The child proved to have a love for nature just as much as his parents, little hands grabbing up at every small animal and plant they came across. Tiny ears twitching at the sounds of the wind and the grass. Azolla would show him plants up close, and her son would look on in delight and wonder.

- Not even before his first birthday, their son started showing signs of his powers. One minute he would be crawling, the next he would zip away then be back again in a millisecond. Myo and Azolla had no idea what caused this, but they both agreed it would just be another thing they had to handle.

- It became clear though, that rumors were spreading about their son's abilities, and things started to get wary. At first it started with questions from residents of wherever they spent the night. But it became clear that they were being followed by whispers.

- Azolla looked more into this and learnt that it was to do with Chaos Energy. Something her son possessed and would be sought after.

- The two agreed to keep moving and protect their son whatever the odds. Unfortunately, one day, the couple were pursued and cornered by bandits looking to claim the power. They never saw their faces, but their stature looked to be lizard like.

- Myo told Azolla to run with their son, while he stayed to fight the bandits off. He did not make it out...

- Azolla ran as fast as she could, clutching her crying son to her chest. She found herself at a fast flowing river, with no safe way to cross. Knowing the bandits were on them, and knowing they wanted her son, she made a decision to use a woven basket she carried in her supplies to send him down the river.

- Her eyes filled with tears as she kissed him goodbye and sent him down the rapids. Just then the bandits arrived. Before she could act, they struck her over the head with their weapon, and she fell into the water.

- The baby, still crying, drifted down the swollen river, until he ended up on the shores of a bank, where a certain owl discovered him.

ROSE & RASCAL ( dangerous newcomers) — These new enemies appeared on the scene without warning, and, for reasons yet unknown, are focused single-mindedly on killing Sonic and Tails! Could the mad Doctor Starline have anything to do with it? As if the murder attempts weren’t enough, Sonic can’t quite shake the feeling that Rose is vaguely familiar…

Amy (renamed Rose by Starline after rebuilding her) and Cream (renamed Rascal by Starline after rebuilding her) were relatively normal people before they were kidnapped and memory - wiped by Dr. Starline — and all for the purpose of replacing Sonic as the world's hero. Rose's existing strength was heavily augmented, making her outright superhuman; additionally, she can match Sonic's speed, making her a dangerous enemy indeed! Starline gave her the hammer as a "gift," and it weighs roughly three tons. Rascal was designed to be the agile to Rose's strong and, additionally, has a mental link with a chao - shaped drone that can assist her in attacks. Unknown to Starline, Amy and Sonic exchanged letters as children, though they never actually met.

SURGE & KIT ( old friends ) — Heroes and longtime friends of Sonic; Surge met Sonic when both challenged Metal at Little Planet and they've been rivals and best friends since! Kit met Surge later and joined the group. Both want to help Sonic deal with Rose and Rascal, but they have different ideas of how to do it…

Surge and Kit are longtime friends of Sonic et al; Surge and Sonic may bicker like they hate each other, but underneath their playful rivalry is sincere affection for one another — they're besties! Kit's been one of the gang nearly as long. Surge has impressive speed at her disposal, but not to Sonic's extent; her primary strength is her innate manipulation of lightning! While Kit may not consider himself a combattant, he can control water, and he and Tails worked together to build a technologically advanced backpack that that would ensure Kit always has water to work with. They don't know all the details about their friends' would-be copies, but they've made sure Sonic and Tails know they're there if either needs a hand. That being said, Kit really wants to see the newcomers saved, while Surge just wants them beaten by any means necessary.

Zeros heart was racing. The worst of it was over, he had escaped that.. horrifying hedgehog and by now, night had passed. The jackal found himself alone. Scared. He had ran until his lungs gave into the pushing of his body and had slept as hidden as he could be in the rain and downpour that came that night. Now, he was traveling. Tired and soaking wet, the smell of blood still lingered on his fur as he shakily trudged through the grass, a very light limp to his walk after spraining his leg when he’d been running, safe to say.. the jackal was roughed up and scared shitless. He’d escaped the scene and everything. But now? He didnt know what to do. He was alone. Hungry. Terrified. He was halfway to crying as he already longed for the warm embraces of his parents snd siblings. How they’d pile to warm up and the warmth of their paws and tongues running over his fur to clean him. He just wanted them back.. he longed for anything close to that experience right now. Desperate, the jackal lifts his head and lets out puppy-cries and broken howls from his still-recovering vocals. Trying to see if he could gather the attention of any canines, or, hopefully, maybe someone from his squad survived and would hear the crying and come to his aid. He was desperate and trying anything, even if making noise could most definitely put him in more danger then staying quiet.

I do think he's got a crush on you. You ever hear about how some people can't handle their feelings very well so they tease/fight their crush instead? I think that's what's happening with Shadow. He's great at logical stuff, but emotions aren't as easy for him.

You really think so? I suppose that would make sense. The only emotion i’ve ever seen him feel is anger, so I suppose he might not know how to deal with other emotions like that.

I dont really know how to act when someone has a crush on me. Amy has a crush on me, I’m pretty sure, but i dont really see her the same way, so i just act like i don’t see it. I just see her as my good friend. But Shadow is my rival, i dont even know if what you’re saying is true, but if it is then it sounds really complicated

I’m best at being friends with people, but for all my trying, Shadow doesnt seem interested in a friendship. This whole thing would get really confusing if he did have a crush on me, but I’m really not all that convinced

11. Does your OC smile often? What's their smile like?

Silkie is very bubbly and is pretty much always smiling! Even if she's upset, she does her best to keep up a happy appearance.

Lapis's smile is very self-assured and a little bit challenging. They smile often, whether they're fighting, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing on its own.

M.A.R.C.Y. doesn't have a mouth, but whenever she's happy, she closes her eyes so she can smile with them as best she can!

Red also has a very self-assured smile, but they don't smile as much as Lapis does. Their default expression is more of a bored glare, but they still smile when around friends.

Emmy has a lot of energy, and that comes across in her frequent smiles! Hers isn't as bubbly as Silkie's, though, or as much of a smirk as Red and Lapis's; hers is more of a devilish grin.

Verse's mouth is covered most of the time, but like M.A.R.C.Y., he smiles with his eyes a lot. Rather than closing or squinting his eyes, though, he opens them wide and lets them shine!

Hyper also has a very bubbly personality and also tends to smile a lot! Like Verse, though, she smiles with their eyes open and sparkling.

Coffee is smiling most of the time thanks to her job in customer service. Even outside it, though, she makes an effort to do what she loves and spend time with people she cares about, so she ends up smiling a lot naturally. She tends to keep her mouth closed when she smiles rather than grinning.

Rift's smile is very similar to Lapis's; it's very self-assured and daring. He doesn't smile as much as Lapis does, though; he smiles around friends or after sending a climbing route, but most of the time, he keeps a relatively neutral expression.

Chaser very rarely smiles. Not only does he tend to be rather irritable naturally, but also he uses his annoyed frown as a defense mechanism to keep people from bothering him. When he does smile, though, it's small, but very genuine.

After being rescued earlier, Little Guy can’t help but gravitate toward Prism.

The scu boys either think it's hilarious or that it's sad that his dad doesn't let him swear either 😔

XD I love this so much. Sonic W is dying of laughter every time Shadow says it and Little Silver feels bad that he's not allowed to swear.

Silver W: I'm sorry your dad won't let you swear. Ours won't either. We have to pay the swear jar.
