bf!cal who's just asked you out before going onto a radio show and seems a little bit too giggly to pass as normal. the boys were sitting on the couch provided by the interviewers, lounging about with legs lazily strewn over each others and arms slung over the back of the furniture. but the man interviewing them behind a desk, as he's talking about their newest and first album, "5 Seconds of Summer", he interrupts himself to point out something to the listeners. "So, this being your first album, were there any challenges that— I'm sorry, I have to interrupt myself... uhm..."

The other boys, who already know what this is about, laugh a little and look around to the brunet boy. A knowing grin is plastered on his slightly flushed face and he looks down at the mic he's holding. "..for any of you audio listeners tuning in, Calum is looking very happy today. Calum, can you clue us in on whatever you're so smiley about?" He waves his hands in front of him, blushing and looking to the side. Ashton, who had been sitting to his left, slings an arm over his shoulder and shakes him a little, leaning into the microphone that Calum was holding low. "Ah, well!... Calum has just confessed to his crush and asked her out!.." Michael supportively ruffles the brown curls on his head and shoves him a little. "Can you tell what her response was?" Luke chuckles at Calum's flustered behavior. "Oh, wow! Awesome, man— that's great! Have you liked her for awhile?"

He decides to speak up finally and nods, raising the mic to his lips as he fixes the hair his bandmate had messed up. "Uh.. yeah.. yeah, she's been my best friend for awhile now. I've always kinda known we were gonna end up together, so.. today I just made the first move— asked her out on a date— and she said yes." Michael interjects and laughs a little, swooping his fringe out of his eyes, "He was so nervous, you should have seen it!" Calum throws his head back and covers his face, raising his mic as he just stares at the ceiling in disbelief. "Shut up— she's watching, you idiot!" "Well, y/n, thank you for saying yes. God— we probably would've had to hear him mope for the rest of the tour if you didn't!" Luke says as he glances over at the boy overcome with embarrassment.

bf!calum who is trying to get a snap to send to you to be cute, but his friends are interrupting him. luke is in charge of holding the camera and he keeps shaking it, michael is behind him doing perverted gestures to make calum laugh, and ash is interrupting his speech every other word.

"hey, babe. i'm here in Paris—" "who is this going to?" calum glances over at ashton, furrowing his brows a little. "it's going to y/n—"

"hi, y/n!!"

"hiya!!!"

"hey, y/n!"

he places his hands on his hips and huffs a little. "can you guys shut up? i'm trying to be romantic." michael snickers from behind the camera. "you're gunna get your lip cut by the thorne." under the camera, calum flips the boy off. "anyway, i'm in Paris as you can tell, wishing that—" "does the stem taste like the flower does? like, does it taste like roses or does it taste like stem?" ashton blurts out again, making the brunet groan and nod his head towards him to signal that he needs to shut up. A chorus of teenage boy giggles chime in and he finally breaks. "you can try it yourself after the video, shut up! and luke, hold the camera steady, jesus, and michael— for the love of god—, stop pretending you're jacking off, I can't concentrate!" but the outburst doesn't make their laughter and harder, and now he's just staring at Luke behind the camera with a stern "don't you join in" look, but even his lips are turning up into a little grin and at some point, calum just waves him off. "just send whatever you got, you're all hopeless."
