There it was, me standing near the building of the future foundation, never would I have thought I'll see it again but here I am.

You were here to look after Makoto Naegi, it's rather funny how this world you once looked up to turned into such a despairing mess with a sigh you marched your way inside with your heels clacking onto the floor you took the elevator up you saw another boy when the elevator opened.

You entered, the silence filled the elevator and the only sound there was of the elevator going up, inside smelled like a mixture of perfumes and cologne, looking back at my phone you saw you got a message from the togami heir himself.

“ I don't want any mistakes, remember that ”

‘Typical togami’ you thought, the boy beside you was looking nervous as if he's going to die today.

you decided not to pay much thought to it.

as you got out, there was someone who told you there's a conference going on so you'll have to wait “okay then, I suppose I can wait for a while..”

you nodded and excused yourself to go to the washroom you freshened up as you were getting out you saw miss yukizome rushing somewhere, you decided to ask where makoto was but failed to as the lady rushed pass you, you placed your left hand on your hip as you leaned back on the wall, closing your eyes before inhaling and exhaling you were truly exhausted by stuff.

You saw miss asahino and decided to walk to her to ask if she knows anything, as soon as you went back to standing and about to walk towards her you saw her walking towards you so you fixed your posture and looked at her “Hey! You must be hm what was the name togami told me uh” she placed her hand under her chin and looked very lost in thought, a hand was placed on her shoulder followed by a voice which said “I believe the name togami told us was miss -y/n-?” you nodded “ Naegi is going to be here any mom—” as miss Kirigiri spoke Makoto walked beside her “ oh um who is this? ” “this is miss -y/n- she's sent to be your protection sent by togami” makoto nodded and looked towards you with a smile “ nice to meet you! I'm makoto Naegi the ultimate lucky student ” you replied with “the names -y/n- l/n- I don't have a ultimate nice meeting you sir”

“we were on our way to eat together so come on let's go” Aoi said with a hint of joy and since I was just there to protect I had no choice but to follow along they were sitting in rows, talking, laughing, smiling.

You were standing beside the couch “you should come and eat something too miss -l/n-” Naegi offered and miss Aoi and sir yasuhiro nodded, though you ended up decling the offer to join, multiple times actually.

You already had a small appetite plus you only had rice and curry today which was in the morning supposedly.

A few days passed till the “arrest of Makoto Naegi” the trial was suspended for a while and he was bought to care he wasn't as Injured because you took the major blows.

“are you okay sir?” you checked his face and arms for the wounds as you took the infirmary kit and started putting medication on the poor boy.

“I'm not as hurt compared to you” he whispered loud enough for you to hear, silence was all there was after that you just did your job and treated his wounds “I am extremely sorry for not protecting you fully, it was my mistake, I'll do my job properly” “you don't have to protect me—” makoto got cut off by the door opening and I saw miss yukizome, ‘I don't trust anyone in this foundation’ you thought as you looked at her “dear, do you mind taking a break I'll treat your wounds and his as well sit down next to him” miss yukizome smiled and sat down infront.

“thank you for the kind offer but I will treat my wounds myself” you spoke she nodded understanding your situation and treated the boys wounds.
