Nemona and Penny have one child that they conceived through surrogacy (Nemona is the one that got pregnant because it was the one compromise to her parents to stop pressuring her into getting into an "actual relationship" so she can have a heir in case anything happens) and she's the battle studies teacher. She often works with Eri for her classes though. Still battle crazed, but a lot better at reading a room and responding accordingly. Penny is still general IT support at the academy but she often helps the league too. Passes down to her child the secrets about painting hair, pirating anime and having crushes on their best friend's mom. They live in Mesagoza.

Arven and Juliana have two children and they conceived the first fairly early. (By complete accident mind you but I imagine they were ready to tie the knot as fast as possible) Arven is the home ec teacher that kids with difficult home lives flock to like birds, although he also published a study about herba mystica that was successful enough to guarantee him a spot as a researcher to carry them on further (that and nepotism) which he refused. Juli still works with the League, being strongest champion and all that, but she also works on a lot of side gigs, since her main work gives her a lot of free time. But her second favourite thing in the world (her entire family is tied for first place) is gardening. They live in a nice little home in cabo poco.

At first I couldn't decide if I preferred Arven x Mc or Kieran x Mc because they're both super cute couples and they just... They just make sense to me...

HE WAS SO INSANE FOR THIS!!!!

People do talk about this moment, but nowhere near as much as they should. I know that Arven is a big boy and he calls Juliana his little buddy for a reason, but this scene right here threw me off so much in the absolute best of ways and it's been playing on loop in my mind for the past several hours.

This scene alone is worth a whole tank of shipping fuel.

I mean, there's Arven and Juliana's hands reaching for each other, and then the way his hands are on her waist and how he almost sets her right in his lap??

And did you notice how Miraidon doesn't turn their head until she's properly seated on their back???

And Arven is grinning the entire time like this is the second happiest he's been the entire game - he's about to go somewhere he hates that has held nothing but bad memories for him.

And yet here he is smiling and holding his little buddy by the hand (and then waist) the way there.

Not only does this moment not appear enough in fanart or go mentioned in fanfics, but the game itself doesn't acknowledge how crazy bonkers that was of Arven to do that afterwards.

I do see some Japanese fanart where Arven totes Juliana around with his big boy arms, though...

“M-Mabostiff! Help me out will ya!”

Juliana cast another glance over shoulder where despite his initial protests Arven had nonetheless opened his bag anyway And was distributing Poke’ treats to the absolute lovestruck spectral puppies, who were also obediently now sitting and waiting their turns as Mabosstiff sat at his side resuming order with a single Deep Woof.  

“The biggest.” She murmured

Arven is so used to taking care of himself that he doesn't know how to let others care for him when he gets sick.

He gets very emotional with dog movies.

Omg this is good ❣️ i think that he’d like to be taken care of, its just so hard to let people in. He’s struggling with feelings that he only ever held his parent back from their true dream. He’s not used to being anyones priority. But at the same time, something like being sick, being so vulnerable and needing care brings him back to when they did care. When his parent was there for him. It makes him deeply happy really

And YES i think Arven is definitely super emotional ab that sort of thing for obvious reason
