 Akshay Kumar turned 54 today. The entertainer's mom, Aruna Bhatia, inhaled her last yesterday (September 8). Fans requested that Akshay stay solid in their birthday wishes.

Akshay Kumar's mom, Aruna Bhatia, inhaled her last yesterday (September 8). However, the entertainer is going through a difficult stretch; his fans confer solidarity to him through their inspiring messages via online media on his birthday. Khiladi Kumar turned 54 today.

   A fan requested that Akshay stay solid and shared the entertainer's photos. He expressed, "Happy Birthday @akshaykumar stay solid."

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar shared the news of his mother Aruna Bhatia’s death on Wednesday morning as he shared an emotional note on his microblogging page.   She took her last breath  after battling an illness.  Aruna Bhatia was admitted to ICU in Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital after her condition deteriorated. 2.0 villain  wrote on Twitter, “She (Aruna Bhatia) was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at very core of my existence. My motherSmt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.”

On Monday, Akshay reached Mumbai from the UK after hearing about his mother getting admitted to the ICU. He was shooting for his  upcoming film Cinderella  which is progressing at the brisk pace in the UK for 15 days which he left midway.

Aruna Bhatia is survived by daughter Alka Bhatia and son Akshay Kumar. Akshay’ father had also passed away a few years ago.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the lead role in  Satrangi Re co starring Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush, Prithviraj opposite Manushi Chillar,  and Ram Setu with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha.
