Could you imagine hoping that no one would ever ask you to do a custom Pearl order…? Could you imagine also being excited that someone finally challenged you to do a custom Pearl order…? I can say one thing about that good ole trial and error, and that’s that it didn’t hurt as much this time, I was smiling through the mistakes. As an artist, it’s very common to see something that I want to change, but no one else would ever know unless you told them. It’s also something about those rush orders that still brings out the greatness inside of me to execute the ideas stronger.

I didn’t really find the example pictures very helpful, but I did grasp the basic concept, and of course I had to implement the ONE in Emilien feels to them. Even though these pearls are still small they have a much more noticeable weight to them than crystals have. There was definitely not a comparison between the two materials, so developing a technique to tackle this challenge needed to happen immediately. If you really pay attention to my work, then two things that you will already know is that I have a thing for white midsoles, and details, Details, DETAILS! The main detail for this custom is now one of my new favorites, and that would be the tongue of the shoe. Most people may try to skip over the tongue because they feel as though nobody would see it so why bother, but as Artistic Brilliance, Miss ONE in Emilien, that feeling will not fly for me.

I desire my customers to choose me because they know that my customs are money well spent, without a doubt, and with nothing to question. So, with the tongue on this Kel Kelz Custom, I used the size pearls that I didn’t want to take up allz the room on the outside of the shoe, so I moved them to the middle. YES! It will take up more time, but I am young greatness and I don’t mind. YES! It does give the shoe a little bit extra weight, but now it’s sturdier. Overall, my concept for these were to gradually increase the various sizes of the pearls instead of having them drastically outsized and oddly placed. Again, as an artist, to go against that is my artistic opinion, so please carry on if your thoughts are to disagree. 😉 With that being said, to accept a challenge of any kind is what I’m here for, and I look forward to your ORDER.

These definitely represent a turning point in my definitely of advancing as a Designer, and expanding as an Artist. I’m excited to let my inspirations show, and to begin the introduction of my own releases. This is just a warm up example, but I will be creating more Kel Kel Emili Signature releases with a full size run separate from any other custom order ideas that customers will present to me. I had previously placed a hold on orders of all kinds for a while – with limited exceptions – so that I could have a reasonable amount of time to not only develop my own techniques, but to actually make quality products that WiLL withstand the rigorous environments that our feet are placed in. Nothing hurts more than to have paid a premium price for a designed pair of shoes all to have them crumble in public as they are displayed on your feet. That level of embarrassment would not only be on my customer, but it would be on me as a brand, and that is not something that I wanted to endure because not only am I passionate about my good name, but I’m passionate about the enjoyment that I get to witness on my customer’s faces when they see that what they paid for is well worth the price. You too can experience this for any occasion, or even as a gift for someone later or now – ORDER.

Now, in detail about the shoe presented: Nike Air Force 1 (ONE meaux: “G-Nikes” – a Seaux Neauxla thing) Low Top Lunar. These can easily be passed by because they have a different surface but the different face values of G-Nikes is what we should be use too by now. What i feel like people are missing out from on these is that they really are seriously comfortable and lightweight, truly a walking shoe now. When it comes to my given name : “What The Crystal Kel Kelz?!” – is directly from the inspiration of the releases of What the Kobes, and What the Lebrons. If you own a pair personally, then you would know that each section of the shoe is constructed of various releases of different best selling versions of the shoe, and fused into one now exclusive release of that particular shoe, for different numbers as well. So now this marks the beginning of what is to come from my Kel Kelz collection of designed shoes to be released, and I’m looking forward to you enjoying each one, or you can send me on my way to create a pair exclusively for you – ORDER.

Also, with these I began to pay more attention to the placement of colors enhancing bouncing off from others, so there’s definitely inspiration from these. If you haven’t noticed, I’ve included: an infamous mustache, the hello kitty bow, the converse heart character, the twitter bird, a lighting bolt, and just random additions to fully adorn the shoe. Also, if you look closely, I have filled in the “AIR and the lining around the midsoles from just a plain white to half red, and half blue. My main idea was just to go off from the royal blue tongue, and this is the result. Soon to come are the before and after pictures, as well as video to fully engulf these amazing masterpieces of art in motion.

When i see these finished masterpieces, i just want to take the time to acknowledge any and everyone who pushes me to levels, they have no idea how much they inspire me, and they have no idea how i will bring their ideas to life. This was my first time working with pearls, and although very hesitant, I’m now ready to create more pearly masterpieces. I will have to use another time to add in the other photos of what I was given to use as their inspiration, but I’m appreciative for the excitement that I witnessed upon delivery.

What I do know is that pearls are much, much, much harder to work with that crystals. Considering their weight, their various shapes, and various sizes, I had to first envision the layout before I began. From what I was given to preview, pearl designs seemed to be oddly placed without a method of repetitive cohesion, and for a mind like mines, it was harder to put something together that I believed my customer would approve of because I couldn’t make it make sense artistically. Regardless of the inspiration someone may show me, it’s up to me as a true artist to give the customer what they want concurrently making it obviously a unique Kel Kel Emili design – ORDER.

Also, I’m an advancing master with working with crystals, so depending on the size of the shoe, the artwork that is needed to be adorned upon the shoe, and the color(s) needed, I could give a roughly accurate estimate upon how much of what I need to accurately charge someone, but the pearls began a new challenge in itself that I’m already in the works of mastering – ORDER.

With starting off with some all white canvas and leather vans, i first had to decide if I was going to cover the Vans logo or not. Then, with only a limited amount of time, I originally would’ve did the colorway reversed – keeping the tongue and toebox the same – but since I’m great at what I do, I first decided upon a design, and got to work. I’m honestly more impressed with the toebox on these because I had to take a step back and give myself a hand clap because it looks neat AF. I’m so impressed with that WOW factor that I now want a pair just like that, and it looks so neat in fact that it looks as if I cut out and taped it in place or something. ORDER.

When it comes to the tongue of the shoe, I feel that 5 times out of 5 the tongue is neglected upon any shoe – but that’s just from my opinionated observation. With that being said, as an artist my mindset is to go that extra mile, and as an entrepreneur, my mindset is to make that customer feel that I undercharged them because overall, it’s my good name and the details that matter. And when it comes to the details, again, pearls are another challenge so i might do one shoe at a time, I had to do the shoe in steps to lessen any errors in my process. It was more work, but that’s what greatness takes. So, if anyone wanted to sit and figure out my process, it would basically be that I didn’t want to have the unexplainable oblong pieces randomly placed – that’s not appealing to my eyes. My intentions are to get people to stare so I had to strategize with the sizes and my design to overall let them be placed in angles that increased gradually. These like any other could’ve went a lot of different ways but I would love to hear you input, with the biggest being to ORDER.

This was honestly an amazing concept that almost didn’t even make it because the design just wasn’t coming out right. I’m quick to toss something out of the window and on to the next, but artistically speaking, it’s the only lane that makes me sit until I get it right. If you’ve never had a passion, then you would never be able to understand the calling, but this is just the beginning, so please stay tuned to the concepts that will come from ONE in Emilien.

Even with allz of the preparing, it’s still necessary to acknowledge how that good ole trial and error appeared. I am definitely about to start carrying a soft measuring tape inside of my pocket because numbers mean everything when you are constructing things. With that being said, this is a sample, but the actual release will be horizontal, not vertical. Besides that, a few ONE in Emilien trimmings, and this release will be posted for purchase, so please stay tuned for the release of the ONE in Emilien Seaux Neauxla Historical Street Edition.

I immediately fell deeply in love with the idea of showcasing a ONE in Emilien Kel Kelz custom for Secondline Sunday that was for someone wanting to blend with the club and their color scheme. I have yet to do anything this exclusive for myself, but I’m always excited when I get to push the limits on myself. What I did learn from that good ole trial and error this time around, was that seeing my completed ART in motion on someone is amazing, but nothing feels better than pricing your items right. It was at this moment that I knew that I was ready to open up for my customers to place send in the details for their custom ORDER.

It was in this moment that I was patient enough with allz the extra steps, that some customs may include, as well as keeping plenty, plenty extra Kel Kelz crystals on hand so that I wouldn’t have to stop for any reason, and to be prepared for all rush orders that may come through. Also, with super limited time given, this rush order had a blend of shimmer and crystals. to entirely cover the shoe besides where the Royal Purple adorned the shoelace outlets, the bottom sole of the shoe including the misole, the tongue of the shoe, including the shelltoe section of the shoe as well. This could very well be a ONE in Emilien Kel Kelz Custom release, because the outside looks great, but the inside of the shoe look a bit three day and the color matching is amazing. There are so many different ways to bring a leopard combo to a pair of shoes, but these would be a good look for the release of the ONE in Emilien Seaux Neauxla Leopard edition – stay tuned.

Blending my most favorite artistic aspects: Pics & Kicks! There are who may know me for being a photographer or videography, and then there are those who may know me as Kelz w/ the Kicks! It was a hard decision to make, but I knew that if I wanted to bring my vision to life, especially with footwear, and besides the sneaker events, then I would have to put allz of my attention into it. With that being said I gradually started to tell people: “No, I’m done with the camera.”

It was hard and still is passing up certain events, but as an ARTrepreneur, my tunnel vision is for my future. Money is a given, because my skills and opportunities has challenged me for all types of occasions and atmospheres to adjust myself too in order to attain larger levels. The thing is, I knew that my art, focusing on shoes first was what I was after because even during the terrible time I still wanted to do it. When it comes to my camera, being booked with difficult people, or playing bill collector, unorganized events, and tons of other problems, the aggravation gets to a point where it destroys the creative process and I no longer wanted to participate in a lane that I wanted to keep for myself.

With limited time as well, it really was easier to say NO!, because most events you will do editing. I’m into candid moments so I’m always seeking an opportunity to capture a moment – which in turn means more footage to go through afterwards as well. Even with a lot of pictures and or footage, if the event was boring, or lacked visual excitement, then it was not only torture to get through editing, but if I’m marketing myself, those pictures of that footage from your lackadaisical event does nothing to further what portfolio. With allz of the hours, and hours, and hours of being in tuned to other people’s events satisfying their need, my needs weren’t being met and I wasn’t any closer to bringing my artistic vision to fruition, so a NO! became necessary.

However, I love being behind my camera, I see art in many things and want to capture that and many moments. I think my next Kandid Kelz project will consist of Secondline Sundays, all of my Kel Kelz Customs, and events where I’m involved in some way. The photographic journey is still heating up, and when it comes to the Kel Kelz Customs, I’m waiting to see how you would like yours once you ORDER.

Believe me when I say that this will be a classic, and reconstructed in different ways and different aspects to be a part of ONE in Emilien merchandise. This concept speaks to my soul, and I haven’t yet begun to spread the word like I plan too. You should always expect me to bring up that good ole’ trial and error every single time I’m introducing a new concept. Any concepts that I originate will always be done in house, unless there’s a customer out there with an idea that want me to execute for their next custom ORDER.

I’m no textile specialist in any way, but I’m getting more indulged in the research as my progression continues. Knowing fabrics are very important for more than just knowing how to handle them when washing. This knowledge is very tedious to gather, but with advancing levels of education, there aren’t many people willing to be dedicated enough to become experts in their fields, and that’s the ultimate mission for ONE in Emilien. The front of the jacket has been left plain, possibly just something small embroidered on the front of the jacket but that’s it. The back is where the main attraction is happening, and it also sends a controversial message (copyright 2017).

(ONE copyright 2017) “The Divided States of America, Land of the Thieves, Home of the Slaves.” I may still be a truth seeker to the truthful history of the USA, and my brief statement basically sums up the history of the USA, no debate necessary when speaking facts. Contrary to believe, it was actually harder for the lettering to be placed than it was for the crystal artwork adorned on about 75% of the backside of the jacket. By the way, I really love the fit of this jacket, but it has a very complicated base material that I would not be making an official release, but it’s coming, unless you a remixed edition for yourself that you have in mind for another jacket that you want to use for your custom ORDER.

Officially, these are just samples and will not be actual releases, but close. That good ole trial and error will always make me tell a story, but with different materials and designs will come different results, and I mean every damn time, but such is an artist’s life. Both of the ONE in Emilien Seaux Neauxla Leopard editions gave me different ideas to decide upon the final look the actual release will be. ONE of the most tedious things is learning color schemes, because as you can see, when certain colors clash, that overshadowing puts the focus in the wrong areas, or for the wrong reasons.

The postcard is definitely being 86’d, however, The Pledge Allegiance to New Orleans, New Orleans Saints colorway is a definite go. Stay tuned for a few details switched around, especially the colorway of the headline, The Pledge Allegiance to New Orleans. (Copyright 2017)

This is another ONE in Emilien Seaux Neauxla edition that will not be released as is. I might consider comments letting me change my mind, but the style tank will definitely be used, but I have already switched up the original postcard concept soon to be released. Even if i did decide to keep this concept, the sizing is way too large, but overall, another idea has been worked out, and it will be added to keep life in the concept. The best concept that will be another classic is: What is LOVE if isn’t as celebrated like a New Orleans Secondline…?

A Secondline may be something that you have seen, even heard without visuals, but unless you have attended an original style Secondline Sunday Secondline, then you have no idea what true love really is – artistically speaking through my cultural Seaux Neauxla lenses. Attending an original New Orleans Secondline means that the club being represented represents history. You have the pleasure of attending for free, but I’m certain people would not hesitate to pay to join them. A rented Secondline – like for wedding or branding purposes – will never have the option of being even two hours long, whereas an original New Orleans Secondline could last about 5 hours on average. That is basically a parade, but you have the option to watch them pass by or to join them through their route. To dance along with them, to appreciate their celebration as you walk along with them, it doesn’t matter. The fact that people not only get their outfits ready to possibly sweat them out and to celebrate the culture, the electricity of good vibes in the moment through that time is something only to be felt, it’s mediocre even to explain. So with that being said, “The LOVE isn’t real if it doesn’t feel like an authentic New Orleans Secondline” babii.

This might be a very biased decision, but unless the release if for Men or children, I will not release anything for Women and I’m not in love with the way it fits on me. Such is life, but it’s worth trying out different brands, and styles so that I am able to develop ONE in Emilien merchandise as best as possible. Our own tags, both inside labels, and pop off labels will be featured upon our apparel with more details of branding to look forward too.

The hieroglyphic print is still a learning curve, so stay tuned because it will not appear on any releases just yet, but it will. The postcard concept might have a few releases, but it will not be a big run of them. Since I have made this one, the trial and error came came in adding details, placement, and concept. The overall concept of the shirt will remain, but it will be adorned upon garments in an entirely different way and color scheme. I really loved this style of shirt as well, but I have found other pieces that will better represent the vision that I will be shaping for ONE in Emilien.

Another day I was able to successfully feature ONE in Emilien merchandise adorned on myself from head to toe. The trial and error seems to be a progressive never ending procedure the more I want to showcase new ideas, but it’s what will keep me separated from the many copy cats, and allz the ones to come. Once Secondline Sunday season begins again I will already have fully customized outfits already ready to enjoy celebrations of branding.

From head to toe: when it comes to the featured ONE in Emilien black bucket hat, they might be sold in the future. Even though my Ray Ban sunglasses are prescribed, there will be ONE in Emilien sunglasses to be added to the ONE in Emilien merchandise catalog so stay tuned. I might order ten more pairs of the exact same shorts, I’m small so I appreciative when things fit, making it another inspiration to why I’m being taught how to sew. The jacket has to be one of my largest learning curves of trial and error, but it was a large hump to get over, yet massively exciting, especially for the responses given, so not this exact look on this exact jacket, but YES to the concept, so please stay tuned. Imagine that after a major event, you get home, take a look at your outfit – specifically your shoes – and you see that everything is still in great condition, your heart becomes happier, especially your feet. That moment is what I have been working towards, and at that moment is when the actually WOW! factor is obvious with ONE in Emilien custom ORDER.

Now, I wouldn’t need to tape that area of the shoe since I can pat myself on the back knowing that my skills have advanced a bit. 😉 On the other hand, at the time of this production and one of my cousin’s told me he just wanted a South Beach Miami theme like similar releases such as the Lebron South Beach 9s. The most difficult part was trying to clone a South Beach color match, and I learned even further about color matching, but also the techniques necessary for those colors to withstand normal wear and tear. Since I’m obsessed with details, I actually sat there and did a color change in every hole sculpted in the bottom of these Air Jordan Retro 7s. I would probably do it again, I’m just not sure when unless that’s a specific request in your ORDER.

The most favorite part for me on these are the granite shimmer adorned on the the entire back and side heel of these Jordan’s. It’s my favorite not because of the added spikes V-lined in the back against the 23 signature Jordan 7 emblem, but because that look blends the hot pink and teal colorway into a unisex release. As an artist, that section would change the entire identity of the shoe, the same way shoelaces does at times. I adorned this section so that you at lest get a peak of no matter what angle you view these Air Jordan Kel Kelz customs from. This colorway could’ve been recreated in many different ways, you may probably even have a special request for your South Beach ONE in Emilien custom ORDER.

Thank You! I love to show appreciation for the ones that go out of their way to support me, but I will definitely be beginning a #ThankYouThursday so that the ones who do things to uplift me may receive their flowers from me as many times as possible. A cousin of mines provided me the opportunity to do a ONE in Emilien Kel Kelz custom to a newly released pair of Retro Air Jordan 7s. He mentioned South Beach, and I came up with this combo, but there could be several meaux different versions, including the outcome of your ORDER.

I did a color match as close as possible to my limited released South Beach Miami Lebron 9s. When it comes to the trial and error stage, I definitely received a lesson on various types of paint, and techniques, because even shoe leather paint is not sufficient for me so I started making mixtures of my own to get the right affect I needed for wearable ART in motion. It’s great to have an amazing looking pair of customs, but I never want someone to have their pair customized and falling apart the very first time they put them on their feet. That unwanted tragedy kept me experimenting, because if you’re awesome enough to sport a ONE in Emilien Kel Kelz Custom, then your intentions are to come on the scene catching bodies, not to get bodied. I am unable to speak for other people out their customizing shoes, but I know for sure that I want repeat customers because they know they received more than their money’s worth when they received their ORDER.

Please do indulge yourself in allz of the details though. From every hole surfaced in the bottom of the shoe, to the mix matched reverse color scheme adorned upon the shoe, to the added granite shimmer and spikes angled on the heels of the sneakers. I never expected for them to come out this way, so please be aware that when you receive a ONE in Emilien Kel Kelz custom that you may be stopped by many people asking where you got those from, and just be flattered to share so that they too will come and place their ORDER.

Sneakerheads know about: WHAT THE releases including Kobe’s and Lebrons. For this Kel Kelz Custom concept, it wasn’t supposed to make sense, it was just to have colors that could compliment each other. The right side is on the softer side with the silver and pink additions to the toebox, and side midsole box. The left side is more on the more dominating side with the royal blue toebox, and the dark green side midsole box. Besides those different colored additions, I left the rest of the Retro Air Jordan 1s Last Shot releases exactly the same.

This to me would be considered one of the more simpler Kel Kelz Custom releases, but with the amount of crystals that it would take to neatly adorn the various sections of the shoes would change the price of these. Still reasonable, especially if this is the concept that you would like to replicate for your ORDER.

I put back in the original black laces, but I believe that these would have a different personality if I were to chose another color, and we shall see. Even the lightly added tongue of the shoe was a different look, and honestly it made the feel more comfortable compared to other versions of the Air Jordan 1s. Overall, I felt as though this was a hyped up release, and simple nonetheless, so I had to add some spice to it, and I’m more than sure there will be plenty other Jordan releases that needs to spiced up, and I’m here when you’re ready to place your ORDER.
