Just something I wrote up. I had this scene in my head and I couldn’t not write it. It’s based on a New Gods AU which I’m not sure I’ve talked about but it exists in the group chat.

“Fetch your brothers. Return to the Manor immediately.”
---
Dick hummed all of the top 40 tracks under his breath as he walked along the edge of a highway. He believed he was somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, given the trees, the mountains, and the slight tinge of magic that wasn’t his. There were old beings sleeping under him, older than humans and the concepts that they had used to create godlings like him.
They weren’t the reason he came here, though.
He was here for a much newer god.
He sniffed the air like a hunting hound and stopped abruptly.
A truck clattered past him, not stopping, not seeing.
Dick searched along the grass and found his telltale, a small roadside memorial in the form of a white wooden cross was tipped over to the side. Its paint was peeling off, sloughing off in fat chunks. The wood underneath it was molding into black. The forgotten husk of a teddy bear decomposed into the ground beside it. Artificially coloured flowers that would never get the blessing of decomposure lay partially buried in the dirt. A faded picture of a girl, brown-haired and big-smiling, was nailed to the cross, and it fluttered slightly when another car passed. Written on the photo, in faded pen and running ink, the second half of a sentence could just barely be read: “-was last seen here”.
Dick snorted.
Tim was nothing if not predictable.
He turned off of the road and went into the forest beyond it.
He doesn’t know what happened here; it wasn’t his jurisdiction. Tim could probably tell you. Talk to you about how that girl’s car had been broken down, or maybe she had stopped to help an ‘innocent’ bystander, or maybe she had met a secret boyfriend for a drive. He could tell you about the days before, how she was in life before it was cut short, what innocuous things were the dominoes stacking up before the whole thing tipped over.
It was a conversation that Dick had had with Tim before, but not one that interested him much, given that she hadn’t become the center of America’s media circus. Instead, her story ended here. In a forest, with a wooden cross and a cold case sitting in some podunk town somewhere.
Dick’s gaze flicked through the foliage, across a tattered piece of fabric caught in a bush’s branches, across the loose threads from torn clothes that would have been too small for the human eye.
Around him, the forest chattered and whispered, quietly saying what had happened in a way that he couldn’t quite hear. It told the entire story if you knew how to listen. Tim did. Bruce did. But Dick didn’t. He only knew the clues enough to follow them to the edge of a lake.
The bright blue lake was like a hole in the forest’s coat. Trees parted to make room for it, and it reflected the sky back on itself. It was a pristine blue, except for a blotch out in its middle.
There, amongst the endless sky water and the sparkling ripple of waves, was a body.
It floated in the suspended reality of the water, bobbing with restless motion despite the stillness in its limp form. It was completely naked, revealing pale and pasty skin to the world. The colour was greyer than any living human should be and unnaturally mottled with green and blue. All the warmth of life had been leached out by its watery grave, leaving only a grisly shadow of what it had been. The knobby ridges of its spine jutted into the air. Its neck stuck at an unnatural angle, and there was an occasional peek at a slash of raw, exposed flesh. Little chunks of meat, bitten and pulled off by fish and birds, floated next to the corpse.
Dick waited, his foot tapping against the shore of the beach.
The body kept floating there, buoyant from the bloat of gasses captured in its stomach. Long hair rippled with the waves.
He sighed, put two fingers up to his mouth, and whistled. The sound pierced across the lake and hung in the air for a few seconds.
Then, the body twitched, limbs locking back into physical control. It shook and then moved its arms to sit itself up, raising up on the water like someone awakening from a nap. It sat up, and Dick could see the remnants of her face. It was torn, like someone had dragged it, and let pieces of it come off like ribbons to then be eaten by the water. Skin hung. The eyes were gone. Her jawbone was visible through a large gaping hole in her cheek. Flesh had been picked apart by fishes and other creatures. It was a portrait of a death. Her death, he supposes.
The face of her stared at him until suddenly it wasn’t her’s anymore.
In between two of his breaths, the figure on the lake had changed into something Dick recognised much more.
“What?” Tim snapped from his seat on the water, legs tucked close and looking very much like a teenage that had been interrupted from his twin bed. Waves lapped at the edges of him, but they might have well been blankets and sheets. Dick is pretty sure he’s seen Tim in this exact position at the Manor, comforter knotted up all around his legs with his laptop balanced on his lap.
He gave Dick the same annoyed, haughty, ‘you’re bothering me’, look that every younger sibling seemed to have mastered.
“I’m here to pick you up,’ said Dick, his tone bouncing. “Dad wants us. It’s time to come back.”
Tim’s eyes narrowed, and the temperature of the air turned down a few degrees. “I’m not a kid that needs to get fetched from his room.”
Dick snorted and shrugged. “Trust me. I’ve been trying to use that argument for centuries. A millennium before you were even thought up. It doesn’t work.”
Tim stayed staring for a few moments before he groaned and collapsed back into the water. The movement exposed a weeping gash on the body’s side, the flash of her ribs was poking out from the meat. There were bruises on her belly and up her chest. Tim laid on his back, staring up at the sky and rocking with the slight ripple of the lake.
“I guess telling him I’m busy won’t dissuade him?”
“Nope.”
Tim sighed and rolled to hop off of his makeshift bed. His legs splashed into the water, but only raised halfway up his thighs. He trudged his way towards Dick, and as he did, the memory of the dead girl shed off of him. His body healed over the gashes. His neck clicked into the right place. A baggy hoody and jeans manifested onto himself. His hair dried, shortened, and any caught leaves or twigs fell out of it. By the time he reached the shore, the only remnant left of the girl was the slight corpse tinge on Tim’s skin. It was a little too pale to be alive, a little too blue and green not to suggest decomposition, but even that was being erased away.
“You figure out your little mystery?” Dick asked, watched Tim shake the last of the lake and the girl off of him. ‘You’ve been out here for a few weeks.”
“Not really,” said Tim, as he grabbed an Airpod out of his hoodie pocket and shoved it into one of his ears. “Finding the body is easy. Filling in the holes in the middle is always harder.”
He also drew a maroon beanie from his hoodie pocket and stuck it on his head.
“And floating out there in the middle of the lake is essential?” Dick teased and Tim gave him a venomous frown. It wasn’t the first time Dick had found him in a rather deathly position despite Bruce trying to ban it multiple centuries ago.
Tim drew a beat-up white sneaker from the hoodie pocket and then another. “Living through the last moments is very informative.”
Dick grinned and Tim’s glare dropped. “Wait, you’re not telling Dad are you?”
Dick hummed with a smirk, and Tim looked like he wanted to throw something at Dick’s head. “I hate you, you know.”
“Alright, alright, maybe I won’t tell him.” He raised his hands in surrender and gave Tim a smile that usually made people fall in love with him. Usually. But Tim wasn’t people, and he sure as hell knew that behind all the pretty grins, Dick’s teeth were sharpened and his tongue could give the most beautiful lie.
His gaze remained suspicious, but eventually he shook his head and changed the subject, apparently done with Dick’s game.
“What the hell are you wearing anyways?”
Dick blinked, taking a second to remember exactly how he was appearing at the moment. It was his normal body in its normal shape. He double checked to confirm he was male, and yep, in the male configuration. All of this was stuff Tim had seen a million times before, so it wasn’t something with the body.
It must be the outfit.
It took a second but he remembered he was wearing a glittery, blue sequined leotard that cut high up on his hips and had large hearts emblazoned on it. Matching the leotard, he wore a glittery cowboy hat and a pair of heart-shaped glasses that did little to hide the bright blue shadow on his lids. He also had on gold cowboy boots that went to his thigh and gloves that stretched toward his elbows. A row of beaded tassels hung from the leotard and this shimmered when he breathed.
He had been at a concert when he saw the text from Bruce to retrieve Tim.
Concerts were more his speed than all of Tim’s moody floating in the woods. Modern concerts were a spectacle and he lived for spectacle. He didn’t really care about the music or the artistry; he always found those to be the most boring parts, but he loved the sheer grandeur of their shows. He adored the way the pulse of the crowd rocked into his bones and filled his lungs. He reveled in how the thrum consumed you into a part of itself. He drank the fizzy pop of power that came from a thousand people all chanting the same sounds. It was intoxicating. It was thrilling. It was a vestige of him.
How he was.
Back when humans filled coliseums and circuses were the center of the world.
It came close to satisfying the vicious yearning he still had for blood sprayed across Roman sands and the clatter of chariot wheels.
No more though. He had to get his fill from a different type of spectacle now.
“I was at a music thing,” Dick said with a waved hand. “Some little Missouri girl is calling herself a princess and people are eating it up.”
Tim raised a curious eyebrow, eyes going over Dick’s outfit. He knew the rules of Dick’s god hood, generally the bigger, the flashier, and the more flash in the pan, the better. “That seems like a boon for you.”
“It’s fast,” said Dick with a shrug. “It’s fun. But it's music, which always means it's only half a meal for me.”
After all, he wasn’t a god of music. He didn’t care about the melody or the words, if anything it was competition for what he truly wanted. He wanted something much more primal. Much more ancient.
Ironic that most of it lived in the moments and flashes of social media. The newest technologies to satisfy the most basic of needs.
He had to adapt if he wanted to live, and this is where that got him. He knew Tim understood because he wanted something similar. Something that was ugly to most of the modern world, and yet survived with each new revolution.
Sure enough, Tim nodded and walked towards Dick’s side.
“Are we going straight to the Manor?” He asked, eyes looking forward and momentarily tabling the mystery in the lake. His mind was already turning on something new, trying to figure out why Bruce had called them all back.
It wasn’t… unusual for Bruce to call them all together back to the Manor but the timing was odd.
They had mostly recently been called back a few months ago and Bruce usually let them have a couple years in the field before he was itching to have them back again. It was a deviation of their pattern and given that Bruce was an ancient god with ancient habits, it took a lot to break their patterns.
Something was up.
Something that required all of them to be home.
“We have to go get Jason,” said Dick, the world already changing around them. “Then we will go home.”

The Odyssey | 0.3 | Bradley Bradshaw x Reader
Previous Chapter | Next Chapter | Masterlist
You meet an old friend of your professor’s, you learn some things about yourself. Tomorrow is going to suck.
warnings: enemies to lovers, power imbalance (professor / student relationship), age gap (22 / 33), will be smut, virgin reader, swearing, infidelity. warnings to be added on a chapter by chapter basis. 18+ minors dni
…
Bradley was born in the South. Shitty little town on the cusp of North Carolina and Tennessee. He doesn’t remember much about it other than his neighbors shooting at tin cans in the morning and his cousin Lucas, four years older than him so maybe eight at this time, teaching him how to catch lightning bugs. After that, after his dad hadn’t returned from what was supposed to be just a six month deployment, they went back West.
He remembers California. His grandmother’s mid-century three bedroom with two orange trees and a lemon tree in the yard. His cousin Jessica, only two years his senior but twice his size back then, pinning him down on that almost artificially green grass and squeezing lemon juice on his grazed knee. He remembers learning to ride his bike alone at that house, out of pure spite after watching a kid on his baseball team learn the skill with his father on a sunny day at the park down the street.
He remembers being so angry in that house. He hated Jessica, he hated that his Mom let his grandmother parent him. He enjoyed the citrus, and the sun, and the freedom to ride his bike as far as his legs would let him. His mother hadn’t been super attentive back then. She was angry too. But never with him. When she could manage to look him in the eyes, she would stare for so long, and remind him how much she loved him. It didn’t happen too frequently in that house.
After his grandmother’s house, then there was Phoenix. His first big city. He spent a stretch there from middle school until the end of his freshman year. He did okay there, but he hated the desert. He loved the person that his mother was while she was there. Working again for the first time since she had been pregnant with him, it felt like she had been reborn. He had missed her so much until they had gotten to Phoenix. It was there that he had found out what had really happened to his father.
Engine failure. Freak accident. Nothing ever found to bury. It hadn’t felt like the closure he had wanted, but it was something. He was grateful for the answer nonetheless. He started to resent his father a little less, now knowing that it wasn’t his fault. At this age, Bradley had wanted to write draw for comics when he got older.
By eighteen, he didn’t recognise anything about that short kid that stuck to his mother’s shadow in Phoenix. By eighteen, he had grown a foot and a half, he’d lost his mother and he was back in that fucking mid-century with the lemon trees. Only for a month, and then he was at basic training. His early twenties belonged to the government, and after that — after he was out, it all belonged to Natasha.
“Natasha.”
“Bradley,” She beams, her arms extended as she walks confidently towards him and drapes them around his shoulders. He hugs her and turns his head. She smells so much more expensive now than she had that first summer. He misses when the backseat of his car smelled like her, solely her. “You look so great. I’m so happy to see you.”
It’s unclear whether this is true. He never really knows where he stands with her. They should hate each other after everything that’s happened, everything they did. But, nonetheless, his arms still fit just as securely around her waist as they had almost a decade ago. It still feels so right. But it would be wrong for him to tell her that he’s missed her.
He has — he misses her constantly. But not her, not this woman that’s in his arms now. The girl from the beach who kissed the scar on his shoulder and told him that he didn’t have to keep on making himself so miserable. God, he misses her.
“Your hair is shorter.” He says it without thinking as she lets him go. Shit, this was what they had argued about last time. He always does this. He reaches out, taking the dark locks between his fingertips and exhaling. “I like it. It looks grown up.”
It’s not untrue. He likes the style, and it does look grown up. It’s just not what he wants of her. Not that Natasha has ever cared about that, and he still adores that about her now.
Classier now than she had been then, she gives him a polite smile and a curt nod rather than calling him an asskisser and smacking his chest. Her lips aren’t glossed, they aren’t matte, they sit somewhere between in a perfect shade of burnt rose. They quirk softly at him as she studies the same face she knew so well.
“Where are your students?” She asks him.
For the most part, his students are already headed downstairs, dressed and beyond curious about this party that Bradley was talking about. It hadn’t been on the itinerary and they’re excited that Bradley wants to introduce them to his friends.
There’s just one of his students that, as usual, isn’t following the crowd. You’re sitting on your twin bed, tapping your foot anxiously against the carpet as Malcolm chats along on the other side.
This room is less dusty. A twin bed with blue striped sheets and your suitcase at the foot of it. The window wide open, Robin’s palms had spent the afternoon braced against the wooden framed window as she leaned her top half all the way out of it to look outside. It’s sunnier here than Turin. Cleaner too. It feels infinitely further from home, somehow.
Hearing his voice should be calming you down but if you have to listen to one more detail about how his golf season is going then you might just start gnawing on your nails again. A habit your mother had trained out of you early on. One of many.
“And then that idiot snapped the driver clean in half! — Titanium my ass, those things were costume jewellery in club form.” Malcolm rattles away.
You hate golf. The sport itself is tedious and you’ve grown to associate it with being lectured by your father. Sitting in the buggy with a good book or a friend with good gossip though — that’s a sport you’re willing to invest your time into.
“So, I tell him—“
There’s only so much of this story that you can bring yourself to listen to, truly. It’s rare that you interrupt him. Your mother wouldn’t dare interrupt her husband, but your husband-to-be is nicer than hers. Your life won’t be like hers.
“I’m really nervous about this party, Mac.”
You’ve had this conversation before. Back in December. You’re only reminded of it because he laughs, just like he had back than.
“Honey, you’re going to have a great time. I know it.”
God, you’d gotten so wasted that night. You don’t even remember getting home. It was someone’s birthday, maybe Miranda’s. With limited drinking experience, a new dress and surging confidence, you’d had high hopes for the night.
You had woken up alone and in your childhood bedroom, and Malcom hadn’t returned your calls for three days. Reassurance from him now doesn’t exactly make you feel much better.
“You there?” He prompts.
“Yes.”
“Honey,” His voice is so warm, fond and almost teasing. You can see his smile behind your eyelids, imagine him reaching out and stroking your jaw with the tip of his index finger. “You’re alone there, right?”
Brows knitting closer together for a moment, you glance around you. Robin left a while ago. You’re definitely alone.
“Yes…?”
“When we’re on our honeymoon, and we’re laying in bed together — I’m going to want to hear all about my new wife’s wild life before she was all mine, alright?” He tells you, and suddenly there it is. The comfort that you were looking for. You close your eyes and his voice envelops you like a hug. “Go out there and make some memories. I love you.”
Savouring his voice like the last bite of a rich cake, you take a few moments and exhale softly.
“I love you too.” You tell him. The longing in your voice translates, crossing the Atlantic without issue. You smooth your dress out across your knees. “Now stop thinking about our honeymoon, we’ve got to make it to the wedding first.”
“Well, if you’d like me to think about our wedding night then—“
“Malcolm, you animal.” You scoff, and he grins in response, offering a breathy chuckle. Both of you know he’s not half as bad as he could be. You’ve seen his friends. The kind of misinformed animals who grope at their girlfriends chests and drool over their backsides — you’d never marry anyone who thought like that. “I should go. I’ll call tomorrow.”
You’re not walking with any kind of urgency after the phone call. You know the time, you’ve just got no real desire to be there. Glossed wood under your fingertips, carefully crafted molding bracketing the ceiling, the floors hardwood and dressed with neat, cream coloured runners.
This place is somewhere you would actually consider staying. A long shot from the dingy hotel back in Turin, this place seems a little out of Bradley’s trip budget. The cream runner is plush enough to pillow the sound of your footsteps, allowing you to pass along the halls almost silently.
Silently enough that you’re able to round a corner and bump almost right into a woman exiting a double-doored suite. You adjust yourself quickly to stop yourself from actually hitting into her, taking a few steps back, blinking as you take in the stunning white of her dress.
It has a deep drape in the middle, revealing deep olive skin, and ends just above the knee, revealing toned long legs. She’s not that tall, just slender enough that she seems longer. Stunning in a way that renders you quiet for a moment.
“Sorry! Didn’t hear you coming, you’re like a little mouse.” She’s smiling at you, and she’s American. Your lips press together into a polite smile.
“Sorry.” You murmur.
Dark brown eyes feel heavy as they start at your heels, powder blue sandal things, then trail your calves, examine the skirt of your dress and take their time roaming upwards. You’ve been looked at like this before, but never by a woman. You squirm under her gaze and force yourself still.
She’s stoic, poised — so classy. You envy her immediately, wondering if her mother was as cruel as yours could be, if it all paid off and that’s why she’s like this now. She doesn’t move and so you don’t either. You mirror her unintentionally. Lips pursed into a soft, polite smile, shoulders squared and spine straight.
“You’re one of Bradley’s students.” She tells you. Not a question by any measure, just an acknowledgment. She doesn’t give you time to answer either. She just tells you your name, then watches the way your face changes to discontentment. “He told me about you.”
If this is supposed to please you, it doesn’t. You know that whatever he has said won’t have been kind. It wasn’t. And yet, Natasha’s smiling at you anyway.
“Walk with me.” It’s an instruction by anyone’s measure, and you comply easily. She’s impressed, but not surprised. She had known from her conversation with Bradley that he must have pissed you off pretty well for you to have lashed out and hit him this morning. Well-reared young ladies aren’t known for socking guys in the nuts.
You’re quiet, pliant — seemingly waiting for some kind of approval from her. She knows that she looks different from Bradley now, that they don’t look like they could have ever loved each other. She wonders if you wrote Bradley off the first time that you looked at him. She wouldn’t blame you if you had; she had too.
He hasn’t ever dressed his age. When she knew him he was primarily shirtless, rarely wearing shoes, usually covered in sand. Some kind of sun kissed, sea-salted teenager who was actually twenty-four. Now that he’s an adult, he still doesn’t dress like an Ivy League professor should.
Bradley hates being told that first impressions matter the most. He thinks it’s bullshit. Every woman who has ever fallen in love with him hadn’t liked him at first glance. Maybe that’s why he’s so laid-back, so aloof.
“He’ll grow on you,” Natasha decides, shoulders straight and her chin pointed in front of her, her hair glossy and falling behind her shoulders. You know immediately that she’s talking about Bradley, you’re just uncertain as to why. She glances across and looks you over once more. “You’ll get used to him, rather. He won’t always be so annoying.”
“How do you two know each other?”
Natasha smiles. Looks across at you, lips quirked like there’s some kind of inside joke on her lips that you aren’t privy to. “Just old friends.”
“Do you work in history too?”
“Don’t call Bradley’s class history,” She corrects you quickly, still smiling. “But, no, actually. My husband and I are in the hotel business. I hear you’re getting married too.”
This brings you to a complete stop. Natasha can see the confusion on your face, standing there and wondering why you could have possibly been the topic of conversation long enough for her to know this.
“Anyway, did he tell you about the trip out to the other side of the lake tomorrow?” And with that, she’s done sharing — and you just have to live with that. It’s a kind of conversational power that you strive to have. You want what she has. Or, in this moment, you believe you do.
She leads you in, but you quickly lose her at the party. It’s hers. You notice this first when you catch glimpses of her shaking hands, like everyone in this room’s just waiting to meet her. Then, you see her picture hung behind the bar. Her and a handsome man with dark hair, their arms around each other and beaming, pictured standing out front.
This place belongs to her and her husband. She must be pretty fond of Bradley to let him come back year after year. You think that now, but you’ll grow to know that that’s not true. She hates him in a way she hopes you’ll never know.
It’s tough, being at a party so similar to the ones you’re used to, and being stuck with people that you truly wouldn’t rescue from a burning building. You sit opposite for a while too long, listening to their boring chatter, sipping on a glass of wine — just the one — you don’t want Natasha to think you’re sloppy.
Then, you make the mistake of speaking up. Just a comment, you barely remember it was, but Robin decides that it was dull. And then, she turns her attention to you.
“Y’know, I’d like to be a fly on the wall when you and Ashworth are getting down and dirty,” She leans back against Luke’s chest and swings her legs across his. He leans in and mumbles something, maybe for her to ease up on you. “I just can’t imagine you…”
Robin trails, then cocks her head like a spaniel. You try to straighten out whatever hurt expression must have given you away, but it’s too late. This was a bad idea, you should be halfway across the room, stuck to Pasquale’s side like a scared child.
She sits up quickly, eyes blowing wide open in excitement, “Holy shit — you’ve never fucked him!”
Quickly, the group acts in unison — a sharp look in her direction, and then their heads whip in your direction. The silence lasts seconds, too long, strange amongst the bustle of the party.
Exactly as fast, you’re sitting there, cursing your father’s name. Surely no grade is worth this ridicule.
Robin leans forwards, lips quirking up into a dimpled grin, “Have you ever fucked anybody?”
“Oh, grow up.” You bite back. They watch as you throw yourself upwards and storm away from them. Their laughter comes in whoops from behind you, you walk as far and as fast as you can until it finally drowns under the music. Out of the events hall, down one of those long, carpted hallways and into double glass doors.
You push at their wood frames and let them clatter shut behind you, stepping out into the fresh, evening air. There’s a chill to it that’s even more sobering than being made fun of by your peers. You cross to the stone railing of the balcony, bracing your palms against it and letting out a deep breath.
Ridiculous, really. That if you’d just laid back and parted your legs for the man you love, or even some loser that may have come before, they think that you would be different somehow. Fucking ridiculous. That she thinks encountering the male form makes her any different from you. You know intimacy. You’ve seen the man that you love cry, you’ve seen him delighted and you know his fear.
All she knows is physicality. That’s the easy part. She knows nothing like the things you know.
Movement in your peripheral breaks you from your grumpy stream of consciousness, making you lift your head and making you privy to a secret that you have absolutely no business knowing.
Bradley and Natasha stand on the balcony opposite you. There are four, bracketing the courtyard below. It’s not well lit out here, but not dark either. You can see them well, illuminated through the glass panes by the hallway light inside.
His hand’s on the back of her thigh, nudging her dress up ever so slightly. It’s not doing anything too incriminating, but for some reason, your brain fills in the blanks for you. You can picture it so clearly. His hand disappearing under that dress, her slender frame fitted against his broader one. Them, together.
Her plump, reddened lips parted and breathing his name. His brows knitted together, cheeks flushed and his skin hot, blushing and stretched taut across his muscles.
Briefly, your brain reminds you of where you are, and who this is — and what you’re seeing, and you almost move. Like cement has dried around your ankles, you’re stuck there, half perched behind a stone pillar, eyes trained in on the view seriously.
You think of her husband. You think of yours. You could never betray Malcolm like this. The elegant, intelligent woman from the hallway earlier fades in your mind like red wine splattered on a white rug. She’s not who you thought she was. He’s exactly as awful as you’d hoped he would be.
Just wait until the Dean hears what Bradley gets up to on these trips.
His other hand abandons her hip, coming up to clasp firmly around the nape of her neck. There’s a sharp, strong tug and she’s closer, his tongue is in her mouth and she hums against his lips.
You’re so caught up in him for a moment that your eyes almost forget to follow the movement. You’ve thought about this before. How Malcolm would touch you. If he would be gentlemanly and slow, or brash and sudden. If his fingers would sprawl the length of your nape like Bradley’s do hers, extending up into her dark roots and curling deeply into a fist.
Finally, you blink and catch the movement. Her manicured, slim fingers trailing downwards along the blue striped shirt covering his stomach, onto the khaki of his shorts. Her fingers extend and curl too, and suddenly you’re much more of a voyeur than you had intended to be. She squeezes her hand around the length of his manhood and you instinctively take a step back.
And yet — you can’t look away. It’s shameful to realise that you’re more intrigued by what’s before you than you had thought you would be.
All of those deep kisses, crawling into Malcolm’s lap, letting his hands explore under your shirt — nothing has felt quite as scandalous as this. Your eyes are fixated on her hand, on the outline through his shorts and the groan that she draws from his throat.
It moves forwards like a routine, he presses her backwards into the wall and pushes his hips forwards into her palm. As this happens, as her back touches the stone, they’re interrupted. Abruptly, enough fo make them pull away like they’ve been shocked by static. Not by you.
Abigail twists the handle on their side and swings the door open, flushed and stumbling. You had been looking right that way and hadn’t even noticed her rushing down the hall. “Bradley!”
Bradley turns and looks at her quickly, putting some distance between himself and Natasha. The moment has passed and been forgotten, both of them appear to be watching Abigail at first, concern coating their warmed features.
“Zoey’s throwing up.” She hiccups at the end and wobbles. Bradley takes a moment to just stare. Each year he regrets not making this a seniors only opportunity, and winds up dealing with some nineteen year old who got fucked up on cheap wine.
The vein in his throat strains. Perhaps embarrassment, from almost being caught. Shame, from kissing the girl he has tried to stay away from for almost a decade now. Frustration, from how badly he had wanted to go further.
The chill has disappeared now. You’re not cold anymore. You’re warm. You’re glad that you don’t flush the way that he does, or you’d be given away. Eyes on you, it’s a distinct feeling — especially when that person is staring. If your skin flushed half as much as Bradley’s does, Natasha would know just how badly you had wanted to keep watching.
Curiosity, you tell yourself. It’s just something new, exciting. It’s not the way his hands flexed in her hair, the way his jaw ticks now as he tries not to look at her again.
Natasha stares across at you, standing still, almost as statuesque as the pillar beside you. She knows that you just saw that entire thing. She glances across at Bradley, and finds that your eyes have widened when she looks back at you again. Her reddened lips quirk as Bradley rushes away from her, amused by you and the scared little look on your face. You think she’s going to tell him that you were watching.
Then, you straighten out your features and lean your palms forwards, calm. You’re going to tell her husband. Her smile just grows. You’re so much like her.
Bradley spends his evening arguing with one of Natasha’s employees about the cleaning fee for the stained carpet, and routinely checking on Zoey to make sure she’s sobering up.
Natasha’s on his mind the entire time. He’s not sure he’ll ever get over it. He’s still so angry with her. He feels it in the way that she kisses that she’s still pissed off at him too.
By the time he’s headed to bed, it’s almost three, and his mood is plummeting. His hand curls around the handle and he pushes the door to his room open, freezing in the doorway.
“Luke! God fucking damnit!”
Luke scrambles, knees slipping against the sheets as he tries to cover both himself and Robin. He’s over her, they’re both clearly naked — Bradley has already turned his head away, trying not to scream.
“Shit, I — I waited til 2am, and you hadn’t come back to I figured—“
Bradley doesn’t give him a chance to finish, slamming the wooden door shut again. He stands there in the hall, pinching the bridge of his nose for a few seconds, trying not to lose his shit.
Natasha’s probably wrapped up in her husband’s arms, secure in the knowledge that she made the right decision — that Bradley wasn’t ever going to give her this.
He glances from one end of the hall to the other, his gaze landing on the room next door. Pulling the master key Natasha graced him with, on the condition that he wouldn’t abuse his power, from his pocket, he turns and lets himself into your room.
You bolt upright in bed. It’s dark, so really he can only see your silhouette. He waves you off and closes the door behind him. It’s not like you don’t know what’s going on next door, you’ve heard every squeak of the mattress for the past twenty minutes.
“Don’t say a damn word, Mrs. Ashworth. I’m going to sleep, and in the morning, every single one of you owes me an apology.”
“You can’t just—“
He stops walking and even through the dark, you can feel the seriousness in his stare. He unbuttons his shirt and kicks off his shoes, then slips into the other twin bed.
Silent, laying on your back, you allow yourself one glance over at him. His bare shoulders, chest, extended from the blankets. He’s still wearing his shorts. You swallow softly, thinking about Natasha’s hands on him earlier, the way he’d pushed so eagerly into his touch.
“Stop staring at me.” Bradley tells you sternly.
“I wasn’t!” You bite back, turning sharply away from him and pulling your covers up to your ears. The second that your eyes are closed, all you can see is his hand inching up under her dress once again. You sigh. “It’s not my fault that Luke’s getting laid and you’re not.”
Bradley doesn’t answer.

BAD FEELING part. 11
HERE WE ARE. Sorry, I started working and it's not the easiest thing for me to describe action. But here we are!
The gif is not mine but also this time, due to the lack of Haymitch, the gif is Perla!
MASTERLIST
11. A katniss to die
You didn’t calculate you would have to walk that much. You think once or twice that maybe - maybe - the shark wasn’t the worst option.
Or the careers.
Or Clark.
Or you could just ask Perla, who you can feel is slightly irritated by your slow walking pace, to end your misery. It is not actually your fault if you don’t have a muscular bone in your body and she is a tall, fit, beautiful girl.
Stupid promise to that blue eyed devil he is waiting for you at home. You hope you don’t risk this blue eyed girl, or she doesn’t betray you.
«I wonder where Lora is.» You really wonder. You can’t help but remember her big eyes. She is little, she is younger, she needs to be protected.
Just try to hold on for the first few days. If this is true, you can save them too, and that means you have to find Lora, and stop feeling guilty because Perla could be better off without you to slow her down.
«We will find her.» She tries to reassure you. You don’t know why Perla is so patient with you, it can’t be only because Finnick said to her to form an alliance. Perla is the perfect career: she is beautiful, resourceful and a great character. You ask yourself why she wants to be in an alliance with you. Is it because her mentor and your mentor are friends? They didn’t seem so friendly before, at the parade.
The caves are not the right place to walk, you decide, and she must agree because District 4 is full of beaches and not mountains. You see she trips and stumbles sometimes, and she is still faster than you. So you don’t complain and you drag yourself behind her.
Mom must be watching, and Haymitch, Portia and Effie too. Given that there is probably a camera down there, you wave and stop Perla.
«We want to find Lora because we formed an alliance.» You explain. She looks at you like you are crazy, of course she already knows what you are trying to do.
«Who are you talking to?»
«Capitol.» You point at a weird light, that is most probably a hidden camera. She frowns. «They want to know what we are doing!»
You are not sure, and nobody in the history of the games has ever done that, but you think it’s a good idea. You tend to empathise with someone who tells you a story, and you already are Princess Daisy.
«…And find water.» She convinces herself. «We want to find water. Caves tend to fall.»
Especially artificial ones. You know if there won’t be an entertaining plot in the caves they will make a shake. They may do this if you don’t meet any other tribute for days, they want a blood bath.
«She is great. Fitter and faster than me!» Well she is. Perla has used to swim all her life, and it shows. You wonder if everyone in District 4 is stunning or just her and Finnick Odair. You think about how you never saw Mag’s games, you have never seen her young.
«She is resourceful.»
She gets it. She gets that people are watching and you have to put up a show. It is good to have her as an ally, she is intelligent. Maybe too intelligent, you have to consider you could be the only two alive sooner or later.
After a long walk, you finally spot a trickle of water and you both run to it. Something, maybe Holly at home, maybe your brain, immediately tells you to stop right there.
«Water!» Perla yells, but you are more cautious. Everything could be a trap. In Haymitch’s games all the beautiful flowers, the grass, the trees were poisonous, and that was a Quarter Quell too.
You did your research between kisses.
«Perla wait!» You take her by an arm just before she could touch it, you have a very, very bad feeling about this. «Let’s try something that is not our body first.»
You take a piece of fabric from your t-shirt and you toss it in the water, only to watch it burn almost in the blink of an eye.
«Well… shit.» Perla says astonished, making you laugh. It could have been her arm, or at least her finger.
«Shit indeed.» You roll your eyes. It’s clear you have to go to the ice if you want to drink, so you huff and proceed to walk again.
«Now we are even.» The brown haired girl adds after a minute. You don’t get it at first, but she keeps going. «I saved you from the shark, you saved me from the water. Now we are even.»
She looks different from the bright girl you saw the last time. She was almost happy, always smiling. You wonder if Snow paid a visit to her too, if he made her something she didn’t want to do. A killing? Or the thing Haymitch feared the most at the first party?
Why are you not so affected by the death of a man? He was a terrible person and you honestly think he is better off, but you killed him, you became a murderer. You literally had blood on your hands. It really doesn’t affect you? You are that cold blooded?
«If we have to keep a score we are not allies. I like you Perla, I want you to win if I can’t.» You clarify, and it’s true. You want Perla or Lora to win, if there is a winner. You can’t shake the words of Prim, Effie and Haymitch, tho. Maybe something will happen, maybe they know something they can’t share. What does it mean “You are not collateral damage anymore”? If there is only a single chance to get out of the arena alive you need to bring the girls with you.
«To win we need water.» She changes the subject. Of course, she doesn’t want you to win. She wants to win and you can’t blame her, she probably has a family to keep alive too.
«We really need water!» You reclaim, maybe Haymitch is listening. If he is not giving you water there are two possibilities: either the water is near to you or he wants you to say or do something before it. Or, but you try not to think about that, you don’t have any sponsors and he doesn’t have any money.
You don’t even comprehend how the sponsors could get something in a cave, but you trust there is a way. Sponsors give too much money not to be used, it’s a great part of the hunger games.
«Maybe we need to find Lora. If she is in danger…»
«She is cunning, you know? She’s little, but she’s courageous.» You don’t know, you realise. You have been caught up in your perfect romance fantasy and you didn’t put enough attention on the other tributes.
Not that your life depends on it.
«We don’t have anything better to do, let’s find Lora.»
After hours you two didn’t find her, or anyone for what matters. It seems a little odd.
«It’s impossible to lose the road, right?» You ask her, a puzzled look on your face. She must have the same thought, because she doesn’t know what to say.
«I think so?»
You can spot something between the rocks. It’s a flower… a plant? Plants. You run into them and you watch them clearly.
«That’s Sagittaria. It’s edible. Do you have something we can use to cut it? We can eat them. It’s a water plant. I always liked the flowers when I was little.»
«A water plant? In a cave?» Perla looks at you like you are a talking dragon. She is not wrong.
Holly used to lecture you about plants, she was obsessed about them. Every day after school she dragged you in the woods and explained to you every use for them, what plants are poisonous and which you can eat or clean wounds with. And she used to say “Find a katniss and you will never starve”.
Sagittaria, a katniss plant.
A Katniss plant.
«They must have… put that in there.» You take a step back.
The plant looks okay, like any other katniss that could be in the water, the flowers are white and light pink, it’s like always. Still.
There is no way this is not a trick, and you don’t know much, but you strongly suspect it’s from President Corioulanous Snow in person. A Katniss to save, a katniss to kill. It’s a strong message: she couldn’t save you, she killed someone and what a coincidence the girl from her district. Snow is definitely laughing right now.
You would have done that, if you were him. It’s a coup de théatre.
«We should come back later.» You suddenly say, forcing a smile. Maybe you are paranoid, but you don’t want to risk it. «To eat the plant.»
You are not eating that, but you remember well how your mentor ended up with no family and no girlfriend because he was smarter than Capitol.
Perla, truth to be told, is witty. «When we will have a backpack.»
«When we will have a backpack!» You assure.
Less than five minutes of walking to the ice later you hear a scream and a gong.
Now, is stupid to run into the screams, you are well aware, but the voice is Lora’s voice. You are sure of that.
You run faster than life, your fear of the caves forgotten, and Perla is right behind you.
«Lora!»
In front of you there is a scene so gore you almost cannot watch it. The other tribute from District Eleven is dead in a pool of blood that comes from his mouth.
Lora still has the plants in her hands, and you take them from her to toss it on the ground.
«Are you okay? Did you eat something?» You ask her frantically, watching her and touching her face in suspect of something weird on her body.
She looks shocked, maybe she was friends with the other tribute, but she shakes her head. «No, I was about to but… no.»
You almost faint in relief. «Dear Heavens, girl. You scared me to death.»
You put her in a hug. She takes your embrace gladly. «He died so quickly…»
«Lucky him.» You can’t help but comment.
You almost miss the sound of something in the rock. When you look closely at the wall you find a little box.
«It’s a gift!» You say enthusiastically to the other girls. You open it and there is a bottle of water and a note.
Genius, pretty girl.
H
You pass the bottle to Perla and you mouth a silent “Thank you” to your mentor. You really, really want to add an “I love you” for the sake of the comedy, but you think he could just have a heart attack in front of the television.
«So it’s real?» Perla asks, around the small fire. It’s so so cold in the caves, so it’s mandatory to have a fire. You have a rock in your hand just in case someone will spot the light, which is a very real possibility. You know your mentor is shouting at the television right now, but you don’t stand a chance without a heat.
Lora somehow managed to take a backpack with her, she survived the bloodbath. Crazy girl. But in the pack there are matches, and that might save your life, so Lora is saving your life. That little, younger girl with a heart shaped face and big eyes is saving your life.
«What is real?»
«You and your mentor!» Lora adds, smiling like a baby. You tend to forget she is younger, brighter than you, not already broken.
«Yeah, kind of… Please.» You blurt out, your face red like a tomato due to the embarrassment. You don’t know what you can tell, it’s not like you are having lunch with your friends in a pause from work in the District, this is national television. Haymitch is watching. Dear Grace, your mother is watching.
«I think you are cute! C’mon, I probably won’t ever have love, let me dream! You found it in the Hunger Games! Must be a District 12 perk, you people are really romantic.»
You scuff. Yes, very romantic.
«Maybe you will, maybe you will win.» You run your hand through her hair, feeling a little protective towards the young adult. «Let me see, what could I say to you without embarrassing my mom… he is really strong. When you, well, when I kiss him or hug him I feel so protected, like he is a shield from the world. I like his beard, he is so sexy. And he smells like the woods!» And liquor, but you don’t feel like sharing that part.
«So he is like a tree!» Perla comments, making you laugh.
«Like the most handsome tree in the whole forest.» You daydream in a light voice, and when you realise what you just said in front of all Panem you blush and try to hide your face.
«Ooh, you are really in looove!» They make fun of you, almost like the three of you are friends and not competitors.
That is so embarrassing. You pictured your games to be ruthless, to be cruel, maybe more blood but you weren’t sure about the embarrassment part.
«Oh, shut up.» You put yourself better against the wall, since you are taking the first turn to guard. «Do you have anyone?»
Lora shakes her head, looking a little sad. Given where she is she has all the rights to be. «No, I am kinda busy in the District. And I’m only nineteen years old, so… I guessed I had time.»
You will, you really want to say. Instead you watch Perla, who has a guilty face on her.
«Can’t really say anything.»
Finnick Odair? You hope, he is handsome. Not quite as Haymitch, but certainly a good looking man.
«You can’t let me die with a secret!» You argue, but she dismisses you with a laugh, and the two of you share a meaningful glance.
Maybe we won’t die.
«Time to sleep little one.» You scold Lora and she closes her eyes, like she is not as adult as you are. Maybe she enjoys someone who mothers her. You quickly remember your mentor’s voice that recommends not to be a hero for someone weaker than you.
You mouth “I miss you” to Haymich, and you realise you almost survived the first night.

What drinks da2 characters order
In absolute fuck it we ball energy, I am replaying da2 here is a post for any of u who are still here from when I made this blog in high school
Yes this is modern / our world i dont care
Hawke: coronas. No, coors lite. Idk the beeriest college beer there is. Hawke is a ferelden farm boy this dude doesn’t even do mixed drinks he buys 6 packs only. Catch hawke in the club with one of those pitchers of beer thats like 64oz. If he must, whiskey soda(cola), and his go to shots are jameson
Varric: old fashioned is his go to, gin and tonic if he’s slowing down, and guinness if he’s really taking it easy, he doesnt really do shots
Fenris: he’s from tropical tevinter so must be tequila and mezcal, he usually does traditional tequila shots with salt and lime, but he’ll take a traditional margarita, salt rims on everything, he also likes tajin and will do mango if it’s spicy. Wine is a whole other ball of wax but he doesn’t really fuck with anything white or rosè he’d drinks cabs
Isabela: she’s a pirate so she likes rum, rum&coke is her go to, but she’ll do piña coladas, daiquiris, mai tais, and corny stuff like jello shots, blowjob shots, isabela only really likes shots if they’re this big communal event you make everyone do, she doesn’t do shots on her own, she’s the queen of mixed drinks and is low maintenance, if no rum she goes to vodka cran
Anders: white claw queen, trulys, high noons, go to mixed drink is long island iced tea, maybe screwdriver, but he will send things back if they’re not sweet enough and makes a terrible sour face every time he does a shot. This does NOT mean he does not do shots. He just has no preference bc he has no taste for liquor. He will order those ice blended drinks that are gross fake sugary, he drinks artificial shit like green apple flavored vodka, he brings malibu to every house party
Carver: he’s cut from the same cloth as hawke so he also drinks 6 packs. they order gallons of beer at a time and split them often, he’s always sipping mini fireballs out of his pocket as if he’s not surrounded by alcoholics, and he orders hennesy shots flat with no special flair
Bethany: cosmo, lemon drop, sex on the beach, sangria, she rejects beer because of her brothers, but she’ll do whiskey shots with them. she also likes ceremonious shot rounds like isabela
Aveline: ok so she’s obviously not down at the bar getting fucked up with everyone else, she mostly drinks beer and wine, she likes ipa’s and can get surprisingly sophisticated about beer, she doesn’t feel she has the refined palette of good wine choice (but she’d probably pass up many others) if she must order a mixed drink she’ll have whatever her friend is having, and if they’re doing shots she takes them like a pro
Merrill: oh boy this one’s hard. I think they just feed her drinks until she likes one and the ones she picks are so random to them they can’t follow the pattern. In reality, she has a preference for an herbal taste where she’ll like anything that tastes like she’s eating the forest or a garden, gin because it’s piney, garnishes with sage or basil or rosemary but she always eats the garnishes out of her drink whole, and she also likes to chew on the ice afterward. She’s a huge lightweight and gets drunk after two drinks but she really doesn’t mind the taste of them bc she would eat grass so she slurps down many a hard drink and then shes wasted
#if u read this i love u#please send me asks and engage with me#i love u more than anything kirkwall#city of addicts criminals and constant arson apparently#theyre party people what can i say#da2#dragon age#companions#dragon age 2#dragon age headcanons#hc#bioware#hawke#fenris#isabela#varric#anders#carver#bethany#aveline#merrill

Lime Slushie
I told y'all I'd write a sequel to that last piece, and yes, it's hornier. In fact, from a literary standpoint, I probably should have broken this into multiple chapters, but I didn't, because I wanted to keep my promise about this being the smut chapter. You're welcome :D
Place yourself in a verdant field, with the distant sounds of children climbing on a playground, a handful of ultimate frisbee players being a little too competitive about it, and the distant sounds of traffic, all seemingly muted by the quiet hum of life itself growing at its calm and everlasting pace. Time stretches on a day like this, but it never thins. There's shade under the trees, for those who want it. Vendors hawking various snacks. And in one particular patch of grass, bathed in sunlight...
A gnat buzzed in my ear, and I shooed it away lazily, drowsy in the sun. God, how I loved the sun. To think I'd ever seriously considered giving it up… the idea felt absurd to me now. The cheap beach towel under me, ratty as it objectively was, felt luxurious pressed between my tan skin and the freshly mowed lawn of La Vista Park. Late spring felt like my birthright, and I soaked it in with the casual entitlement of a queen.
There are certain emotions you eventually give yourself license to, when you get old enough to let go of the bullshit. Certain kinds of confidence, an unwillingness to live by anyone else's standards. My airbrushed purple bikini was starting to look a bit out of date these days, and my body wasn't perfectly trim like a magazine model - but nobody stealing glances at me seemed to be bothered, and neither was I. It wasn't so bad to look younger than I was. Let them look, and let them blush. I didn't mind.
I was laying there like a reptile when I heard him. Even still, there are moments where I think the footsteps are his - my eyes opened a little quicker than I would have liked. But it was just… some guy. Some guy who was clearly attempting to summon a lot of borrowed courage from any generous god or demon willing to oblige. I gave him something that bordered on a smirk. I leaned forward, and broke the ice directly.
"I don't bite, you know. Missed my window for it." I gave him a sweet smile, a generous tableau of canines and incisors.
He sputtered nervously, disposable paper cup shaking in his hand, and the straw shaking even harder. For a moment, anyways. He regained his composure well, and earned a tick more of my attention by doing so. Not just prey, this one. Interesting.
"I was wondering if, maybe, you'd like a slushie from the cart over there. The piña colada's really good. Like…", he struggled visibly with his words, "really really good."
I reached down and picked up a half-empty cup of my own. "Oh, I've got it covered." I took a sip of the bright green slush. "Lime flavor. That's pretty good too."
"Ooh!" he leaned down to examine it. "I didn't see that flavor on the sign."
I winked. "It's my favorite. Reminds me of home. Doesn't taste like actual limes though, it's the artificial, candy kind of lime. When it's sour enough, it makes your mouth water, so it's extra refreshing, you know?" I took another sip, drawing the cup back from his prying eyes, and savored the sensation washing over my tongue. "That's the good shit."
"I'll make a note of that. Especially since summer's just about here. Which… you're definitely dressed for." He blushed a little. Cutie.
"Who am I to argue with the weather? It's a hot day, I might as well dress for it. Life's too short - or, maybe too long - to worry what people think." I leaned forward a little, looked him in the eye. "If anything, I think they like it. If they allow themselves to admit it, that is."
He blushed even redder, but didn't look away. He looked me up and down, like he'd granted himself some permission to do so. "I… I'll admit it, yeah."
I held out my hand to shake. "That makes you more honest than most men I meet. And still polite, in a world where it seems like every guy is just one or the other. Congratulations on riding the line, Mr. ….?"
He seemed to shake out of a trance, a little bit. "Shaw!" He reached out with his slushie-holding hand, caught himself, swapped it to the other hand, and tried again with his now-icy right hand one more time. "Alan Shaw. Pleased to meet you."
I took his hand lightly, and shook. "Elizabeth. Just Elizabeth."
"You don't have a last name?"
"Oh, I do." I grinned at him. "I have it, and I love it, and I'm fiercely protective of it. That's why I keep it all to myself." I realized we'd stopped shaking, and I was still holding his hand. The gentle dappled shadow of the sugar maple leaves swayed over us and back again. He felt so alive, and I felt alive with him.
"Elizabeth, No Last Name Given. Alright." He seemed uncertain, but intrigued. "How about a phone number?"
I laughed. "Nothing in service. You got a phone, though?"
"Yes?"
"Good. Help me up." He lifted me to my feet by my hand. I was unsteady for a moment, I felt like I'd softened in the sunlight, all rubbery-legged. I shook it off, and held my other hand out. "Phone?"
He handed it to me hesitantly. "Who are you calling?"
I didn't look up at him, focusing on the screen. "Nobody. I need to check something, real quick, while I have the chance…" These days everyone's phone was pretty fancy and different from each other, which is not an ideal combination if you're always borrowing phones, but I figured out how to do a web search. I frowned.
He stared at me. "What?"
I shrugged. "Nothing."
He popped his head over before I could stop him. "Wait, what? You a sports fan?"
"Me? I couldn't care less. But my best friend is."
He scratched his head. "Eagles, huh? I don't exactly follow sports myself. I had no idea they were taking off this year. Your friend, are they from Philly?"
I handed back the phone, screen privacy now entirely pointless. "Originally."
He looked at the screen himself. "They must be real excited. A shot at winning the Super Bowl, huh? That's gotta be a huge deal for them."
I pursed my lips and stared off into space. "Couldn't be bigger, honestly."
He finally looked up. "Shit. Sorry. I feel like I just invaded something personal."
I held my arm and looked down. "A bit, yeah. But you can make it up to me."
He stuffed the phone in the pocket of his shorts. "Anything! You name it. I really didn't mean to step in your private life or anything like that."
I looked up a little, at the markings just visible at the edges of his sleeves. "Anything, huh?" My mind raced, and I answered recklessly. "Then take me home with you."
"…what?"
"Not tonight. Not some scheduled date night you'll never show up to. Take me home now, or nothing." I had to look like I wasn't concentrating. Beach towel. Lime slushie. Hold in position. It was no wonder to me now why I'd felt a magnetism to this man. The risk and the reward were both astronomical, and I was going to chance it. If I was very lucky, this Alan guy would think with his dick. If not…
"N- now?" Come on. "Literally right now?" Yes. Just say yes. "With me?" You're the one, pal.
I shrugged and started rolling up my towel, putting it under my arm. "It's a one-time offer. If you're not interested, that's fine…" I was cursing profusely in my head. "But I'm heading home either way. So better make up your mind fast. I'm a busy woman, not lacking in options."
I think I saw him sweating. The towel wasn't so hard to maintain while I was touching it. I gave him a few seconds to look me over, and picked a direction for "home" in case I needed to take the bluff further. I slurped down the rest of my slushie, and began walking to the nearby trash bin. "Last chance," I said, tossing the empty cup in.
He looked around, debating with himself. "Fuck it. My place isn't fancy, but it isn't far either. Come on." He wasn't even parked far away. Cheap little beige sedan. Perfect.
The buildings passed by out the window, familiar to me by now after a long residence. I watched them go by, then turned to smile at my driver, who was stealing glances at my body. I winked, pulled down my top briefly, and told him: "that's all you get until we get there. Don't crash."
He grinned and saluted me. "Yes, ma'am!" And then turned his attention to the road just in time to slam on the brakes for a red light. God, I couldn't wait to see him naked.
His apartment was a basement with outdoor steps. It smelled damp and earthy, with a bit of fresh grass poking through the mud of the "lawn" that had long since become a walkway to the concrete stairs. There's a musty smell that all basements have, that got stronger as we walked down, and while I didn't mind it, it made me very glad I hadn't died in a basement.
He fiddled with the keys, until they jangled the lock open, and he rushed inside. Good boy. I walked in, and couldn't help but grin. I'd come to the right place, and it was obvious by the… decor. The books left open, the posters with sharpie corrections. I shut the door quietly behind me.
He was frantically trying to clean the place at the last second, apologizing for the mess, and I put my hand on his shoulder. He looked up, and I guided him to standing face to face with me, my finger on his lips. "It's alright. I like the mess. Leave it be."
His breath caught. "Okay."
I leaned in and I kissed him, tongue snaking around his, exploring him. His hands, somewhere between the roughness of a gardener and the softness of a scholar, started tentatively at my hips, then up my torso along the sides, then touching my breasts. Every second he was more urgent, or confident, or both. I reveled in it.
He broke free to breathe. "You taste like lime," he said, almost second-guessing his senses.
"And you taste like piña colada." He had scruffy brown hair, a little too long and shaggy, and I brushed it away as I caressed his face. "You were right. It's really, really good."
He gasped, and worked his fingers under my bikini top, grasping and groping, massaging my nipples. I began to unbuckle his belt with my hands. I soon had it free, and I broke off from kissing him again, and got on my knees for him. I prayed a thank you for the knockoff Persian rug beneath us, softer than the concrete below it, and slid his shorts down.
He was already hard, and I hadn't even done my due diligence of stroking him through the fabric. I knew I'd make up for that in a moment. At least from the waist down, his body was on display for me, and I liked what I saw. He was thin, and his cock was an average length and girth, but his legs had some tone to them, and the scratches on them… yes. I gave him one last look, and I think I must have been adorable, looking him in the eyes as I slid my tongue from his scrotum, up the shaft, all the way to the tip. He shuddered and leaned back against the bookcase behind him as I slid my lips down the length of him. He was salty and delicious.
And by god did I make it worth his while, and mine. I felt him on my whole tongue every time I got all the way down to the base. Up, down, up, down, feeling his fingers entwine in my hair. Hearing his sweet moans. I stopped halfway down, and worked him with my tongue inside my mouth, and I felt him grab a shelf of the bookcase to avoid crumpling to the floor. Emboldened, I pursed my lips for stiffness, so he wouldn't feel my teeth, and I sucked hard, and began bobbing my head like that. I wouldn't have cared if I made him cum then and there. I was lost in it.
His grip tightened on my head, and I knew what was coming next. I reminded myself that the need to breathe was an illusion for me. I couldn't get deader, at least, not this way. Fellatio is always an act of service, but it can seamlessly switch back and forth who's in control, and that's the beauty of it. Alan took control, and started forcing my head down onto him, fucking my face in its pretty little hole. I let myself go limp, even gag. I let him have his way with me. I became an object for his desire. If I'd been alive, I might have stopped him, but by now I'd had some practice pushing my limits.
When he finally pulled me off of him, I had tears running down my face, and a river of spit running out of my mouth and down my chin, with little threads still connecting to the sloppy drench of saliva on his penis. And I was smiling. I was proud. I looked up at him, messy and beaming. My voice was a bit hoarse and wet as I told him: "You can fuck me now, if you want."
He wanted.
He picked me up, hands under my armpits, and threw me against the bed so that I tripped and fell backwards onto it. He towered over me, with that look in his eyes. Knowing he was doing something wrong, something I wanted, something he could barely admit to wanting himself. I should have known he'd be rough with me. He peeled his shirt off, and I gasped. He truly was exactly what I was looking for.
I untied my top and threw it off, and was working off my bikini bottom when he put his hand on my chest and pushed me flat down on the bed. It was only when I went limp for him again that he took the hand back off, and used both hands to slide my panties off of me. He caught me by surprise by burying his face in my pussy, and I put a hand over my mouth to catch my own scream as his tongue slid inside me. His nose was rubbing my clit, and I used my other hand to grip his cotton sheets - a few weeks overdue for washing, and rich with the smell of him - writhing as he tortured me with pleasure.
He just kept going deeper, and then he started using his fingers… he crooked them upwards, finding that spot on the roof, and he stroked along the ridges. He moved his mouth to suck gently on my clit while he fingerfucked me. My body felt like it was on fire, and I moaned loudly. I was helpless to him.
Time seemed to stretch, I don't know how long he did that to me, but it was heaven. But when he stopped, he wiped his face on his arm, like he'd just finished up at a drinking fountain. He scooted me back on the bed. I looked up at him, feeling almost dizzy, so hungry for him to be inside me. He teased my clit with his cock once…. twice…. and then slid all the way in.
He'd lulled me back into a false sense of security with that detour into oral. His lust was greedy and aggressive, and he fucked me like he was trying to fuck the life out of me. I stared up into his eyes, my own glassing over, my brain being rattled into a submissive haze. He held me by the shoulders and drilled himself into me over and over and over again. At one point, he grabbed one of my breasts and fondled it, but the other kept bouncing with the power of his thrusts.
His breathing became harder, more jagged. I tried to nod, but my head was already being shaken up and down too much for it to be noticeable. He was going to cum inside me, and I wanted that so bad. Not for any plan, or ulterior motive. Just for me. Just to feel him do it. He fucked me harder, faster, pushing himself. I felt overstimulated and beyond the reach of reality. He took me for his own. It felt like a flood inside my pussy. I wasn't surprised that he was pent-up, but jesus. It lubricated him further as he kept fucking me, until his muscles spasmed with the roll of the orgasm, and he collapsed onto me, his weight cementing me under him, his cock plugging me full of his seed and preventing a single drop from escaping.
The sudden ending set me off in another orgasm, and I wished I'd been counting, but I'd got lost in the whirlwind of it all. I shook under him, and wrapped my legs around him, holding him even tighter. As close as a person can be. The thought flitted briefly in my head that maybe, just maybe, I'd underestimated my own loneliness. I didn't allow that thought to stay long. I just held him inside me.
We stayed like that for a long time. Interlocked, intersected, whole in a way we couldn't have been individually. We rested like that. When he finally pulled out of me, I lost control of my muscles again for a moment, shivering with stimulation. He rolled over next to me, wrapped his arms around me, and held me from the side. I looked over at him.
He couldn't look me in the eye, even as he held tight to me for comfort. When he finally spoke up, he said, in a simple statement of fact: "they don't sell lime flavor at the cart."
I shook my head. "No." And after a pause: "You've been carving runes in your skin, haven't you?"
He sighed and nodded.
I smiled. "I can show you the memory if you like. And you tell me what you're up to. Just… get dressed first."
He sat up, looking out a thin and pale-blue window of his basement home. "You say that like we both haven't made some huge mistake."
I put my hand on his shoulder blade. It lived up to its name on a thin guy like him, angular and defined. "We haven't. Or at least, I don't think we have. I think we've laid the groundwork to a very mutually beneficial partnership."
"Oh yeah?" he said sarcastically, pulling on a pair of jeans that had been crumpled at the foot of the bed. "Not getting any results in the Ghost4Sorceror section of Craigslist?" But there was a bit of playfulness in the tone. That's how I really knew. Got 'em. I knew you couldn't say no.
"Don't be an ass, hear me out. You tell me your thing, I'll tell you mine. We help each other. Friends with extensive benefits, what's not to love?" My towel and bikini had disappeared… probably an hour ago. My concentration had been elsewhere. I stood up, closed my eyes, and remembered:
SUMMER DAY. AUGUST. LATE 80'S. I WAS WAITING IN LINE AT THE BANK. I WAS WEARING A-
I opened my eyes, dressed in a red skirt and frilly orange top. The outfit had made me feel like a marigold flower, and made enough of an impression that I could remember it clearly, down to the shiny black heels. I felt fresh and clean.
Alan blinked. "That's fucking spooky."
I shrugged. "I'm a spook. And, well, you did just fuck me."
He wrestled his way into an uncooperative graphic tee, boasting a faded and pockmarked Led Zeppelin logo. "True and true. And for the record, I have no problem with spookiness. Obviously. I'm just trying to figure out which kink I've gotten myself into - interspecies, or necrophilia."
I waggled my finger in front of him. "Nuh-uh. Monsterfucker."
He stared at the ceiling in thought. "I can live with being a monsterfucker. Ah, crap, shoes…."
I laughed and offered my hand. "Don't need 'em! But… hold on.'"
He stared at me warily. "Why? Is it like, I'm gonna fall down the vortex of space and time, or fly across the city, or…"
I grabbed his hand. "No, dumbass, it just doesn't work if you let go." I closed my eyes and called up the same memory I had hours ago, when I was settling in at the park this morning.

I've been thinking about this idea that came to me after Florence and the machine released Mermaids and then I watched The Lighthouse. I wanted to write a dark Mermaids story and my protagonist was a solitary man, dealing with grieve, sounds familiar?
Even if I didn't planned as a fic but an original story, Joel Miller inspired it (maybe also the fact that I've been playing tlou part 2 and there's a ton of scenes dealing around the coast) and I think the sea is a great setting to explore pain. I got stuck, you can figure that out just knowing I wanted to be done for merMay and well... it's August. So in order to bust my ass to write, I wanted to share some snippets with you. I want to publish it here and Ao3 sometime this week. If by next Monday I haven't, you can come scream at me (thank you).
Themes and what to expect from it: this is weird story, dark and eery sea vibes, grieving lots of pain, tension, smut (duh), and very important, Joel Miller continues to be little spoon on this.
The siren will be described( as fins and tail and color and her not human features), but the "girl" version of her will not, she will be nameless and addressed as "she, girl, siren etc" but it can be read as as a f!reader.
"They say the sea has some power over the souls. It understands something that lies underneath flesh and bones and it sings a song that appeal to those who are wounded.
The sea is a welcoming mistress for lost souls. At land, all he did was bury himself in pills and alcohol. He numbed his head so his thoughts would stop being her fast breathing, her cries, his shirt wet, warm and sticky over his chest.
(....)
I know, baby, I know.
I gotta get you up, babygirl
He remembers getting her corpse up of the ground, and all he was, was left in the puddle of her daughter’s blood on the grass."
(....)
"They were so far away; the radar never showed any passing ship. The sky was so bright, Joel saw the Milky way for the first time. That white spur of cosmos full of stars brighter than any artificial light he had never seen before. The sea was so calm the light draw silver lines over the soft waves, the soft push of them crushed against the boat, when he saw it. A shadow, barely a head above water. If it weren’t for those silver lines, a glitch on the reflection of the sky above, he wouldn’t have seen it."
(....)
"She cradled his head on her lap, her sharp nails combing his greying hairs, again and again. And she sings.
Her voice is soft, and deep. She hums sometimes, or just vocalises, others she speaks in a language he does not understand. Long syllables, soft words. Even if she does use unknown words or just her voice, Joel understand. She sings about longing, death, lost and love. Sometimes he cries and she shushes him like a baby. With her voice and her hands, she caresses his wounds and his heart.
In the night, they lay, and she tangles herself to him. She's warm and soft and smells like salt and sand. It's like she keeps the warmth of the beach on her. Her heartbeat is steady. If she notices that sometimes he touches the skin on her leg, from her ankle to her thigh, the one leg she tosses over his hip, she does not say.
Sometimes she turns and grabs his arm, cuddling herself with him, as if he was a blanket over her. She keeps his hand between her breasts, her slow and steady breath should calm him. But she pushes against him, her back on his belly, her hips between his hips.
If she notices that his painfully hard and cannot sleep, she doesn't say.
But when he does eventually fall asleep, the nightmares start.
"do not cry, Joel" she kisses the tears running down his cheeks. And she sings, and he cries more. Until he's empty and exhausted, until he can fill the sea and drown.
The siren sings every night and he begins to forget why he's crying or that he should try to get back to the land"
Let me know if you wish to read it once I upload it 🥺

This is my review of 100 gecs discography including their respective solo and side projects, which means that this list will include the following discographies:
CAKE POP (Dylan Brady side project)
Dylan Brady (member of 100 gecs)
Laura Les (member of 100 gecs)
osno1 (an alias for Laura Les)
100 gecs
This is also a very diverse discography, including studio albums, remix albums, live shows, DJ sets, and what are commonly referred to as The Minecraft Shows, which were digital concerts that were hosted in Minecraft due to Dylan and Laura living in different states at the time, money constraints, and quarantine, but I will be referring to them as the Digital Shows as some of the shows weren’t actually hosted in Minecraft, but they were all held in some way digitally. I will label what each release is with the following indicators:
[S] - studio album
[R] - remix album
[L] - live show
[DJ] - DJ set
[DS] - digital show/Minecraft show
I will be laying thing out like this:
Year - Album title - artist name [I] 6/10
1 - Song 1 1/10 \\note about the song
2 - Song 2 7/10 \\note about the song \\dog
3 - Song 3 6/10 \\note about the song
Album description/explanation of review
2013 - tape 1 - this town makes me sick sometimes - Laura Les [S] 5/10
1 - friends drive by 4/10 \\I was overall uncomfortable while listening
2 - i wanna try cocaine 5/10 \\this would probably get a better rating if it weren’t so amplified
3 - cheif keef cant breathe 4/10 \\no comment, it’s just loud
4 - i just wanna go home 5/10 \\it’s cool I guess
5 - random act of violence 5/10 \\there’s just so much noise
This is a very bizarre EP, it was deleted almost immediately after it was released and I can see why, I don’t think it’s really meant to be listened to, I think it was more of a personal thing, because the version that was released is extremely over amplified to the point it’s hard to even understand, but from what I could make out it sounded more like Laura was just venting and getting stuff out of her head than anything else.
Something to note is that while it was released in 2017, it was recorded "some time in 2013".
2014 - APPROPRIATE - Dylan Brady & Death Grips [R] 7/10
1 - BURN THROUGH IT (Lil Boy) 7/10
2 - PIRATE (Anne Bonny) 8/10
3 - ON MY WAY (TWO HEAVENS) 7/10
4 - BOUNCIN (Stockton) 7/10
5 - FUCK WHOS WATCHING (Whatever I Want) 7/10 \\it’s only 56 seconds
6 - FEELING IT (Takyon) 6/10
7 - TRAMP (You Might Think He Loves You) 6/10 \\strangely calm and chaotic at the same time
8 - FEEL ME NOW (Black Dice) 6/10
9 - ICE GRIPS (Artificial Death) 6/10
10 - I'VE GOT SOME SHIT TO SAY (Lock Your Doors) 6/10
This whole album is just Death Grips remixes, it’s honestly kind of interesting when you listen to something for the first time and you already know all the words, it’s interesting
2014 - Zero Halliburton - Dylan Brady [S] 5/10
1 - Zero Halliburton 6/10 \\I love the Daft Punk sample in this song
2 - Fizzy Lifting Drinks (Interlude) 4/10
3 - Box Car // Jug Of Wine 5/10
4 - Mountain & Beach 5/10
5 - Knives 5/10
6 - Pyrotechnics 5/10
7 - Give Me Back My Phone 6/10
8 - Fedex 8/10
9 - Ice Grass 5/10
10 - Yoda 4/10
11 - Sam Rothstein 5/10
12 - You Were Crying (Bonus) 5/10
13 - Look How Far We’ve Come (Bonus) 8/10
The instrumentals on this album are alright but the’re nothing in comparison to APPROPRIATE
2015 - Iff Itt Mmakkesss U Happyyyyy - osno1 [S] 4/10
1 - Iff Itt Mmakkesss U Happyyyyy 4/10 \\this was deleted
It is just weird ambience and slowed down audio of Laura saying “if it makes you happy.”
2015 - Better Get Sharper; Better Change Yr Name - osno1 [S] 4/10
1 - Better Get Sharper; Better Change Yr Name 4/10 \\this is 25 minutes long
Like tape 1, this was also deleted soon after it’s release, but unlike tape 1, there is only 1 song and it’s 25 minutes long, this also seems to be Laura’s first time going as osno1. This single is just as noisy and amplified as tape 1 and it is pretty hard to sit through, it feels a lot slower than tape 1 though. It seems that certain parts distort over time and eventually fade out as the same vocals loop over and over again throughout the song… it’s very unnerving. The end has a very weird, loud guitar.
2015 - All I Ever Wanted - Dylan Brady [S] 5/10
1 - Piano Prelude 5/10 \\this song makes me laugh because it sounds so dumb
2 - Let Go / Enemies feat. Nok from The Future & Night Lovell 7/10 \\the drums that start about halfway through the song are really good
3 - Little Bando 5/10
4 - 314 feat. Night Lovell 5/10
5 - Trailing Some New Kill feat. Ravenna Golden & Kevin Abstract 5/10
6 - All I Ever Wanted 4/10
7 - Yee feat. Nok From The Future 4/10 \\the bass is good
8 - U>Them feat. Ketema 4/10
9 - Gold Teeth 6/10 \\I often wonder who the kid in the intro to this song is and how he’s doing now
10 - Unknown Caller PT. 2 feat. Saputo 5/10
11 - Finale (Marvin Gaye Cover) 6/10
My rating will likely be somewhat biased as this is a hip hop-esque album, and I’m personally not a huge fan of hip hop. This album just feels empty, it’s alright but I don’t really get anything out of most of it.
2015 - fuck art #1 [sorry grandpa, im gonna wear a dress if i want to] - osno1 [S] 7/10
1 - fuck art #1 [sorry grandpa, im gonna wear a dress if i want to] 7/10 \\this song is so chaotic and I love it \\dog
There is a dog barking sound in this song, which is somewhat significant since at some point after 100 gecs was released Laura and Dylan said that they would put a dog bark in at least one song from every album, at the time of this songs release none of this had been said yet but from now on I’m going to be mentioning a dog bark in the notes of the songs if I hear one.
This song seems to be a bunch of songs by other artists mixed together and sped up.
2015 - Cake Pop - CAKE POP [S] 7/10
1 - Birthday Party (ft. Dylan Brady) 7/10
2 - Midnight Boys (ft. Dylan Brady & Adam Newcomer) 7/10
3 - I Love Cheeseburgers, Apples Pies 7/10
4 - Poison (ft. Lewis Grant) 6/10
5 - Do You Think I'm Mean? (ft. Dylan Brady, Robel Ketema & Night Lovell) 6/10
6 - 757 Remix (ft. Calvin Lewis, The Kid Devo, Robel Ketema & Dylan Brady) [Bonus] 6/10 \\this song is in no way related to the song 757 by 100 gecs released 2023, this is a remix of another song with the same name
7 - Do You Think I'm Mean? (Five Star Hotel Remix) (ft. Dylan Brady, Robel Ketema & Night Lovell) [Bonus] 7/10 \\I love when one song is significantly louder than every other song on an album
It seems that around 2015 is when both Dylan and Laura really started refining their skills.
2016 - Sticky Fingers - CAKE POP [S] 6/10
1 - Sticky Fingers feat. Lewis Grant, Dylan Brady & osno1 6/10 \\this is the oldest song I can think of that features both Dylan and Laura, which leads me to believe that this is the collaboration that helped inspire them to make 100 gecs
2016 - No Sleep Nun Days Coming Soon - osno1 [S] 1/10
1 - No Sleep Nun Days Coming Soon 1/10 \\My ears hurt :(
this song is indescribably loud, I actually had to lower the volume so that I could tolerate it
2016 - 100 gecs - 100 gecs [S] 9/10
1 - dog food 8/10
2 - gum 9/10 \\dog
3 - bloodstains 10/10 \\this is legitimately one of my all time favorite songs
4 - fuck teeth 10/10 \\this is the song that got me into 100 gecs \\dog
5 - 25 bands and a geccco 8/10 \\dog
2016 - Choker - Dylan Brady [S] 5/10
1 - Lbvs 5/10
2 - Coming Down 5/10
3 - Seattle 5/10
4 - Marlboro Man 6/10
5 - Go Away 5/10
6 - Will You Look for Me When You Need Someone 5/10
My opinions on this album are very neutral
2016 - hello kitty skates to the fuckin CEMETARY - osno1 [S] 6/10
1 - ditch a body in the laundry (feat. Dylan Brady) 8/10
2 - gone with a knife; given all wrong 6/10
3 - nothing just hangin out 6/10
4 - cemetary 4 6/10
5 - there are a lot of things wrong but i dont hate the world only myself maybe 5/10
With the exception of ditch a body in the laundry, the songs on this album aren’t very good on their own, but it’s good as one piece
2017 - dead serious and out of options - osno1 [S] 5/10
1 - dead serious and out of options 5/10 \\dog
The song is goofy
2017 - Dog Show - Dylan Brady [S] 7/10
1 - Lately 7/10
2 - Hit Me 8/10
3 - 127 Hrs in Bed 7/10

5 - My First Time 6/10 \\S O M U C H B A S S
I like it but it would like it more if it weren’t so loud
2017 - sticky glue+ - osno1 [S] 7/10

Laura is just talking about sticky stuff

1 - how to dress as human 7/10
2 - dumb pics 8/10 \\dog
3 - darkest part of day 8/10 \\dog
4 - creep 4 yr bones 10/10 \\dog
This is honestly just a really good EP, it shows major improvement from Laura’s other works.
2017 - A Conversation I Overheard - osno1 [S] 8/10
1 - A Conversation I Overheard 8/10
In this song Laura takes a more rock-esque approach to her music, this song seems to be about her struggles with an eating disorder
2017 - Date Night ❤ - Dylan Brady [S] 6/10
1 - date night !! 💎🎀 6/10 \\who puts emojis in their song titles
2 - i hope its ok !! (dinner w my parents) 6/10
3 - u can find me here 💙 6/10
4 - will u go 2 the dance w me 6/10
It’s alright but not my favorite
2017 - LETHAL POISON FOR THE SYSTEM - 99jakes, Black Dresses & osno1 [S] 7/10
2 - Paper Planes (osno1 "i Want The Laugh Cry Emoji On My Tombstone" remix) 7/10 \\dog
This is the most annoying remix on the EP and of course Laura did it, it’s like a bomb is going off in my head and honestly I enjoy it.
2017 - laura les drops HEAVY BIRTHDAY BASS - Laura Les [DS] 7/10
1 - dog food (osno1 puppy chow remix) 8/10 \\dog

This is genuinely one of my top ten albums, I listen to it regularly. It’s also a nice break from what I usually listen to, as this album is not super serious. This album is very fun and lighthearted, and not too silly, just the right amount of goofy.

This is honestly a pretty good show but it takes a while to get used to because of how powerful the bass is, sometimes it starts to drown out the music
2020 - Square Garden - 100 gecs [DS] 8/10
1 - THX Intro 2/10
2 - TIGER 9/10 \\how the hell did they make such a good song out of eeny meeny miny moe

17 - 3DS (interlude) [Live at Terminal 5]
18 - hand crushed by a mallet (Live at Terminal 5) 9/10
19 - new york, new york (Frank Sinatra cover) [part 2] {Live at Terminal 5} 6/10
20 - billie knows jamie (Live at Terminal 5) 10/10 \\I love the improv in this version of the song. Something to note about this track is during this show they play the studio versions of the songs in the background for the instrumentals and they also have the vocals in the background for the effects that they can’t do live, the vocals aren’t in the background for this song which implies that the vocals hadn’t been recorded yet, this also explains why there was an improv part in the middle of the song, they hadn’t finished the lyrics yet.
21 - rare intersection (interlude) [Live at Terminal 5]
22 - mememe (Live at Terminal 5) 10/10

30 - poll/thank you/last one (interlude) [Live at Terminal 5]
31 - 800db cloud (Live at Terminal 5) 10/10
I listened to this show everyday waiting for 10,000 gecs to come out. I genuinely love this show so much, I really wish I could get to actually see them live. I watched the recording of the show on the night of the album's release… I might’ve cried when it came out.
2022 - Snake Eyes - 100 gecs [S] 10/10
1 - Hey Big Man 10/10 \\I don’t care if the lyrics are cringy, the song goes crazy and the bass is amazingly intense
2 - Torture Me (feat. Skrillex) 9/10 \\they took out the part that I liked in the original version :(
3 - Runaway 10/10 \\when I first listened to this song I was so scared that it was going to be one of those shitty heartbreak songs and then it kicked and I absolutely lost my mind because this song is so fucking good.
So one night I decided to look up if any new info had come out about 10,000 gecs and there was an article that was 2 minutes old saying that this was released, I immediately bought it while sort of crying with joy because I really wanted new music and I finally got it.

1 - Dumbest Girl Alive 10/10
2 - 757 10/10 \\I love the Star Wars noises \\possible dog bark here

4 - Frog On The Floor 10/10
5 - Doritos & Fritos 10/10
6 - Billy Knows Jamie 10/10 \\I really like how aggressive this version is
6 - Billy Knows Jamie (physical version) 10/10 \\I honestly prefer this version but the other is just as good
7 - One Million Dollars 10/10 \\the guitar on this song is amazing
8 - The Most Wanted Person In The United States 10/10 \\dog, the dog bark is realistic this time
9 - I Got My Tooth Removed 10/10 \\if you pay close attention, after the second time Laura says “I got my tooth removed” you hear what sound like a small moan, if you slow the song down to about 40% of its original speed you can hear that the “moan” is actually some voice saying “I know” which is a really cool easter egg
10 - mememe 10/10
This is by far one of my favorite albums if it wasn’t apparent, it was well worth the wait. I still get chills whenever I listen to this album, it’s just so good and such a leap in quality from their first album. I wonder what 100,000 gecs will be like.
This is 32,124 characters long and took my around 4 days to do
Sorry if it is kinda rough, I don’t do this very often, but if your interested I’ve also made a review for Death Grips and Rammstein
I would absolutely appreciate any feedback I can get

If pondering about this question is too painful just delete it, but if its bearable, what specific things do you consider that would help you reduce (or drop?) the artificial feminity habits you partake in to a level it is genuine? I have a female friend who i believe is doing this, and as a guy i don't get it but i'd like to help if i can, i just dont know how
I don't think it's really a man's place to get women to drop artificial femininity tbh. Artificial femininity as a social standard is largely upheld by other women (even if it's ultimately also expected by men). If you tell a female friend that you think she should stop the artificial femininity, you'll just be another man trying to tell her what to do on a subject he doesn't (and honestly can't) fully understand. You can avoid contributing to the pressure by treating her like a regular human being, but that's about where your part ends.
My general advice for dropping artifical femininity essentially just comes down to "touch grass". Expose yourself to situations that will make it clear that hanging on to femininty just isn't practical (although yeah there will always be women who pride themselves on wearing a full face of makeup to their blue collar job, which is sad). Go camping, spend time around GNC women, build something, get sweaty, go to the beach (salt water on freshly saved legs = so much pain). I've honestly noticed I wear makeup way less often when I'm spending time with my bf because I don't want to have to keep my distance from him just to avoid smuding my makeup, and when you're Actually Living Life it doesn't take very long to notice that it's not worth worrying about to begin with.
The non-cosmetic aspects of femininity are a lot harder to unlearn because it truly does just seep into your personality. Spending a lot of time around people who make you feel okay about being an unfiltered version of yourself (GNC women in particular) helps but IMO nothing fully "fixes" it.

One of the primary reasons artificial turf is favored in these areas is its ability to conserve water. Natural lawns require significant amounts of water, particularly in the warm climates of Palm Beach and Pompano Beach. With artificial turf, the need for irrigation is eliminated, drastically reducing water consumption and contributing to environmental sustainability.
2. Low Maintenance and Durability
Artificial turf is a low-maintenance solution that requires no mowing, fertilizing, or pesticide use. This not only saves time and effort but also reduces the environmental impact associated with lawn maintenance. In Palm Beach and Pompano Beach, where harsh sunlight can damage natural grass, artificial turf remains green and vibrant throughout the year, offering long-lasting durability.
3. Aesthetic Appeal
Artificial turf provides a consistent, well-maintained look that enhances the visual appeal of any landscape. In residential gardens, commercial properties, and public spaces, it delivers an aesthetic charm that is both functional and beautiful. With its versatility, artificial turf can be used for a variety of applications, including gardens, playgrounds, and sports fields.
To sum up, artificial turf in Pompano Beach offers numerous environmental and practical benefits, making it an ideal landscaping solution for homeowners and businesses in Palm Beach and Pompano Beach.

🌸 PERFUME and 👠 SHOES for the random WIP ask game!
Thank you for the ask, Nopal! 💕
🌸 PERFUME: Describe the setting of your WIP using the five senses.
Let me give you a feel for the city of Harmont, the setting for Agent Ace:
SEE: Cloudy gray skies over busy, bustling streets and towering skyscrapers, with the Watchtower standing taller than the rest. The upper neighborhoods have a view of the bay and beyond. Other parts of the city may seem gloomy, drab, or even shady, especially in the winter, but there's still a surprising amount of greenery flourishing about, and graffiti on the walls help to provide pops of color. When the sun goes down, the liveliest parts of the city come alive with colorful neon lights HEAR: A chaotic combination of street traffic and live music from the night clubs and concert venues. When the light rail is near, the track rattles and clangs, and if you listen carefully, you can hear seagull cries and the crash of waves from the neighboring bay. It seems like there's a lot happening all at once, but strangely, it all harmonizes and gives the city a calmer atmosphere. SMELL: Saltwater, pine trees, freshly-ground coffee, and the thick scent of brand-new rain. Alleys reek of paint fumes and cigarette smoke, and there's always the faintest hint of something vaguely, artificially sweet that no one can ever seem to pinpoint. Nevertheless, it mingles with everything else in the air and never seems to linger for long. TOUCH: Lots of metal, glass, and rough stone, all of which is abundant in the most urban locations of the city. In the parks, you'll feel dew or frost on the grass and the soft dirt beneath. Maybe the tree bark is rough and prickly, and leaves remnants of pitch on your fingers. Maybe the leaves crumble to bits in your hand, or maybe they tear apart like wet paper (it all depends on the season!). The beaches are pebbly with coarse sand, slimy seaweed, and bits of driftwood and shells that wash up on the shore. The water is shockingly cold, leaving a numb but pleasant tingling sensation in your fingertips. TASTE: You can probably taste the salt in the air; it'll be stronger depending on how close you are to the bay. Otherwise, the air tastes almost forest-like—fresh, cold, and clean, as long as you steer clear of places that attract sketchy characters. Being a coastal port city, seafood is a delicacy, but Harmont is home to a number of flavors and cuisines. There will always be something to sate your appetite!
👠 SHOES: What is transportation like in the world of your WIP?
Most people own cars, though it's not uncommon to get around on foot or bike, especially if you live in a heavily populated area. Bus routes and cabs can take you between districts, and the light rail spans across the whole city and beyond, taking you anywhere else you'd like to go.

Factors That Impact The Quality Of Your Synthetic Turf In Palm Beach, FL
Synthetic turf enhances the beauty of the corner it's been a part of. And the ambiance gives stronger and more positive vibes. But somehow, not all synthetic grass comes with excessive quality. When property owners purchase artificial turf, choosing a reliable, extraordinary product is of utmost significance as high-quality synthetic turf is often more long-lasting than its lesser counterparts. However, many options can be challenging to identify which synthetic grass is superior if you need to know how to pick one. And you can also hire a synthetic turf installer in Palm Beach, FL.
What Are The Factors That Affect Synthetic Turf?
Synthetic turf is one of the products that help enhance the beauty of the roof and balcony areas, and most homeowners prefer to place it in their homes. But when purchasing one, you should consider some factors to have quality synthetic turf.
1. Material Of The Grass Blades
The material with which the many artificial grass blades are made reckon your synthetic grass should be flexible and muscular because of its vital role in supporting the shape of your surface's durability. Having firm turf blades helps deal with factors that may impact an artificial turf's longevity, such as heavy use and weather. The most durable synthetic turf is generally made of either polyethylene or nylon; both are famous for their strength and severity.
2. Use Of Durable Material
The material of artificial grass must be highly qualitative and incredibly durable. Therefore long-lasting synthetic turf is commonly made from sturdy materials such as nylon and polyethylene. And these materials surely have a long lifespan no matter what they're up against, whether it's intense weather or access usage, letting your surface resume functioning as intended. If you take, the help of any landscape companies in west palm beach would be a great idea.
3. The Infill
An important aspect of any synthetic turf surface is its infill. The best infill will preserve the turf blades upright and increase the resiliency of the artificial turf. There are numerous infill alternatives, and the suitable choices for you depend on the characteristics you value and your purpose in using the surface. Many high-quality synthetic turf products feature a hygienic infill that aids in keeping the development of bacteria, and mold, preserving the surface's structural integrity and ensuring a safe ambiance for those who utilize it.
4. Installation Quality
Installation quality is key to the success of any artificial grass surface. Long-lasting synthetic turf is hardly possible to achieve with a vital installation that will leave you with a surface at the time of immediate repairs and with poor drainage, all factors that may ruin the longevity of your artificial turf. Install your artificial turf carefully by hiring a synthetic turf installer in palm beach, FL, to ensure a first-class surface that lasts many years without any problem.
5. Excessive Weight
Heavy weight can damage the unity and structure of your turf lawn. Moreover, this may cause myriad issues and endanger the condition and functionality of your lawn. It must be remembered that your synthetic turf will not be ruined simply through walking on them sometimes or with moderate use. But the excessive weight on it will damage it. Also, installing a landscape design in west palm beach will help you.
Make Your Lawn Area Appealing With Synthetic Turf!
Synthetic turf plays an important role in making the roof, lawn area, and balcony extra beautiful. But choosing quality synthetic turf is also vital. If you are searching for a synthetic turf installer in palm beach, FL, you can contact Pura Vida Landscape. They offer services of landscape installation and design, landscape lighting, synthetic turf, and others. You can directly reach them via their website.
