I know, 9/11 has passed, I know. But has it really? Seems like it is always with us.

This is another article I wrote as this 20th September percolated in my heart. It is an account of how I have traveled with 9/11 and how it has traveled with me. And the artmaking, thinking, and writing this journey has created.

I founded the Partition Memorial Project in 2008, to memorialize the human cost of the Partition of India in 1947. Find out more at partitionmemorialproject.org Today is the 15th of August, and is celebrated all over India as Independence Day. On this day in 1947, India finally got it's freedom from the British. Today is the 75th anniversary of India's freedom. The freedom came at a cost though. Colonial India was divided into two countries - India and Pakistan on the basis of religion.
