✪ most likely to have some sort of sugar daddy/baby kind of a relationship

✪ they spend r i d i c i l o u s amount of time together

✪ Arnold is always cooing over Bugsy, which include praising him after every battle and giving him (stolen) presents

✪ Bugsy acts more selfish in this relationship, giving he's a spoiled brat in adult body, he won't let anyone be close with Arnold if he's somewhere nearby. Andhe always somewhere nearby.

✪ Even though, he will try to act mature onse he see Arnold exhausted or sad

I’m slowly working through all the wonderful prompts folks have so kindly sent in! MASSIVE thanks to @appelsiinilight for the proposal prompt! I actually have written a fanfic snippet to go along, but I want to edit it a bit more before I post it! I do have one fic for them ( all-audiences friendly ) on A03 but I don’t know if Tumblr likes links very much. If you want to read it, my username is the same on there, too. >^ a w a ^< Times are kind of scary right now, so I’m putting as much happy fluff into the world as I can to mitigate that! <3

In which Bugsy gets them lost.

Tw: hints of cannibalism, teeth, implied zombies.

"Bugsy..? I think we might've taken a wrong turn..."

"Nonsense, I know exactly were we are."

"Do you?"

"No..."

Arnold sighed and clung to Bugsy's arm, they were supposed to be going to the cinema for date night but they'd gotten lost after Bugsy decided he wanted to walk. They'd missed the movie by now and all Arnold wanted to do was go home, but they were lost.

Little known fact about Bugsy is that he's scared of the dark, but Arnold is a lot smaller and easily breakable then him so he's decided that he won't be scared- he can't be scared. He has to protect his tiny husband.

They seem to be going down an alleyway now, Bugsy pulled Arnold closer, giving him a kiss on the forehead. "Arnie are you cold? You're shaking?"

"You know damn well why I'm shaking you bastar-"

Arnold froze.

He felt something cold touch his leg, his eyes went wide and he slowly looked down to see...a hand. He looked back at Bugsy who instantly picked him up, pulling him away from the person.

A figure dressed in torn and flithy clothes, pale and thin. Dark and sunken eyes stare up at the duo, hands blackened from the cold reach up and grasp at Bugsy's suit jacket.

Bugsy backs away, clutching Arnold close to him, he backs into a wall and looks down in horror as the figure gets to it's feet. Bugsy spits at it and kicks it back into the other wall. "Leave us alone!"

The thing can't be human, it seemed to bend inward at the kick. When it stands back up it leaves black muck on the wall. It slowly steps towards them, baring greying teeth. It paused, staring at them for a beat before lunging.

Arnold cried out and buried his face in Bugsy's shoulder as the creature broke skin, biting Arnold in the arm.

Bugsy saw red, he took a pocket knife from his pocket and slashed at the creatures face, distracting it for a moment and using that time to run as fast as he can. He pulled Arnold closer and whispers hushed comforts between breaths.

They managed to get into the main street, people were walking around now, Bugsy still refused to put Arnold down. His heartbeat was in his ears and his head was pounding. Arnold on the other hand was quiet, he was shaking and whimpering. Bugsy couldn't feel how cold it was anymore, he was overheating from the adrenaline.

He glanced behind him, the creature was staring at him, clearly scared of being seen in the bright lights. Bugsy took comfort in this but he wouldn't let himself relax until he got Arnold safe at home.

He continued to run, although it was slowed to more of a jog at this point. He wasn't the fittest guy but he was willing to risk pulling a muscle to keep his husband safe.

After a while Bugsy finally got to the apartment, half an hour of jogging and he was exhausted, he still didn't put Arnold down for even a second until he was able to lay him on the sofa. He grabbed the first aid kit and saw to the bite mark on Arnold's arm, his eyes went wide as he saw that the flesh had gone black around the wound.

He did his best to clean it, going super gentle with the alcohol wipes as he knew Arnold had a really bad pain tolerance. Arnold didn't saw a word throughout the entire time, it was just Bugsy comforting him and assuring him it was going to be fine.

After he'd finished, he pulled Arnold into a big hug, he pretended not to notice the tear droplets landing on his shoulder. He gave him a loving kiss on the forehead and picked him up again, taking him to bed and bringing him some tea of help calm his nerves.

He sat next to Arnold in bed and watched him nervously, putting his hand over Arnold's own. "Arnie? Cupcake? Are you alright? I know that was scary but please talk to me, I'm worried."

Arnold sighed and put his tea down on the bedside table. "I..." He paused and rubbed his face with his hand. "I'm sorry... I'm just...in shock I guess..."

Bugsy nods and pulls him close, readjusting so they were both comfortable. "It's alright, I've got you now. You're safe with me." He gently stroked Arnold's hair, gazing at him lovingly.

Arnold let himself relax, smiling a little and not there minutes later falling asleep curled up in Bugsy's arms.

Bugsy smiled, he was so glad that Arnold was safe. That was all he wanted, he hated to think that maybe this was his fault. So he didn't. He ignored the doubt tugging at the corners of his mind and drifted happily off to sleep besides his love.

Later that night, Bugsy woke up to a sharp and throbbing pain in his arm, he glanced down to see a bit missing. The flesh around it slowly going ashen and black. His eyes widened and he glanced around in panic, he looked besides him to see...

Then he woke up again to the sound of his alarm going off and sunlight streaming through the window. He smiled a little, he hated that Arnold always opened the curtains first thing but it was a nice change from last night.

He got up and stretched, going into the kitchen to find Arnold happily humming to himself while making pancakes. Bugsy smiled and hugged Arnold from behind, nuzzling into the smaller's hair.

Arnold chuckled at this. "Good morning Bugsy darling."

"Mhh...g'mornin'..."

This just made Arnold chuckled more, he pushed Bugsy off of him and went back to making breakfast. "Your coffee's on the table love."

He smiled and nodded going over to drink it. "You're my coffee~"

"Oh shut it you big oaf."

Bugsy grinned. "You love me really~" He took another sip of coffee and stretched his arms again, happening to take a glance at one and noticing...bandages.

Arnold placed the plate of pancakes in front of Bugsy with a smile, kissing him on the cheek. "Don't forget we're robbing that mall tonight, did you remember to wash the uniforms?"

Bugsy paused the nodded. "Uhh...yeah! I think i did!" He frowned and looked at Arnold with a frowned.

"Is something wrong Bugsy? Is it last night? Don't worry" Arnold smiled, placing a hand on Bugsy's cheek gently. "I don't blame you for getting us lost."
