Woww thank you for the accident fic I was one of the fans who asked for it 😄 maybe it was not fun for you as much as other but I really enjoyed it (guess I'm a huge fan of those kind unexpected drama and sacrifice lol) Tbh, I don't want to bore you, or mess your schedule and attention but I can't help myself! Well, ok, I admit I'm a drama-addict and love to read other's reactions to it. Sorry for insisting!!
So it's just a tiny request, it really doesn't have to a fic-long as usual (if you want to write that way of course it's way better for me lol) I'm just curious about how would Isiah feel and think when he found out about the accident. I understand that this kind of trauma can be healed easily for wolves and not a concern, and Hex&Arnie got through it well, but it could be worse, right? Idk maybe Arnie would feel stressed about it afterwards and worry about Hex even though he's already healed. He might also blame himself for what happened as he was driving? Anyways, would you consider write another part stress sick Arnie and caretaker Isiah?
-🛼
I mean, this is fitting, since Arnie doesn't get stress sick, but he gets stress migraines. And we didn't have him with Isaiah as caretaker for a while...here you go🥰🤗
Stress migraine
Arnie really wanted to have fun today.
Hector was sleeping third day in a row already, tyring to get his shadow back up after all the healing. Nobody really knew, since Hector wouldn't want the pack to know and refused to call anyone.
Arnie understood. It was usually just the two of them, when something bad happened to either. Hector never let himself or Arnie find out if they had other people they could trust.
But now they had someone like that back. Someone they could call.
Other thing was that there wasn't really much to tell. Hector was fine, the car was getting fixed, Arnie wasn't hurt very much. What was he supposed to make a scene for, when there was no proof something even happened?
He caught himself looking for the little wound in his hair in the mirror just to make sure he didn't dream the whole accident up.
They had a scheduled meeting with Isaiah on Saturday though and Arnie figured it was a good opportunity as any to get out and distract himself.
He wanted to stop waking up to the fear he was back at the car or keep checking Hector every 30 minutes like he would start coughing blood out of his sleep all of sudden.
No, this was good.
Isaiah took him on a tour around Vienna. He said it was a scandal Arnie didn't get to see the center yet and that he didn't know all the sights by memory now.
Isaiah definitely did. They took Tram D around the main ring of the first district. Many important things were all after each other, parliament, city hall, the two giant museums of natural history and art history right across each other, the giant theater, the Butterfly House...
Isaiah refused to take a car, when everything was so well-connected and they spend the day on foot, from one park to another, one big street to another.
Isaiah seemed to have a thought out plan of switching between greenery and impressive buildings, talking all about the style of architecture, how many times they were rebuild, who famous lived there.
Arnie was so overwhelmed with all the information he stopped putting it together halfway through. He took comfort from just Isaiah's relaxed mood, his zealous voice and ardent expression.
Everything was all good with the world again. One could believe it, listening to him.
Somewhere around midday they went to get lunch near the Schonenbrun castle and gardens, Isaiah treating him to schnitzel and cake for good measure. He never let Arnie pay for anything when they were together.
"I have the same inheritance as you do," Arnie objectdd as he took a sip from his cold brew coffee.
Isaiah smiled. "Yeah, but we will start this talk once you make your own. Rich or not, there is nothing like getting a paycheck for the first time. Your effort, you decision."
"So you want to pay for everything with what you earn?"
"The assistance job I got at the uni pays well. I also helped out with a city planning project last year that had very good funding."
Arnie leaned back in the chair. "That's cool. What about your whole wolf helping activities? Hector says you get called to things all around the city. Do you get any pay from that?"
Isaiah took a spoonful of his chocolate lava cake. "No, I don't do that for money. I like helping out."
"You shouldn't be doing that for free though, when it takes so much of your time. Or is it the contacts and favours you gather that way?"
"Isn't it worthwhile and helpful when you can give people things without having them pay for it?"
"Yeah sure, but that's sustainable if you actually use all the money you were born with. If you were born with it." He was getting the impression Isaaih didn't like relying on anything that came from their father. "Besides, don't people take skills and advice more seriously if they have to pay for it? If you give it for free, they might not take any interest at all. It's a way to show them something is valuable."
"What exactly would I call it? Hello, I have experience that your shadow is entirely manageable with the right kind of training, but your pack doesn't seem to know, so come and listen to me?" Isaiah shook his head. Way to insult the pack and trivialise the wolf's problems.
"You have expert training from leading packs of the West. If you wanted to make that systematically accessible through courses or stuff, I think people would find it easer to find you. You could even prevent most of the problems the packs and human authorities call you to."
Isaiah chuckled. "You aren't the first one to suggest something like that. Matthew said something similar. Even Seline said I could make it a job. I don't know. I like working in the academic environment as well."
"It's not like you would have to choose between one or the other. Plus academic jobs are pretty instable I hear."
"You didn't even start uni yet and you are hearing about uni conditions?"
Arnie shrugged. "Lots of protests about the Mittelbau and the time constrained chain contracts around lately." Apprently 80% of the academic workforce that didn't have safe professor status worked under conditioned contracts, always afraid if they were going to be prolonged or not and if they wouldn't have to move to another town just to get a job they specilized in.
"It's impressive you can understand it. You still thinking about law school?"
"Yep." Hector was very careful about not mentioning it too much so Arnie wouldn't feel pressured, but he knew Hector would find it useful. Even wolves had to respect the law.
And Arnie would love to feel a bit more powerful around them.
"You are still studying it too?"
"Additional classes and courses, yeah. It's not my main subject, but it's useful in practice."
Arnie hummed, satisfied with the prognosis of that. He wanted to know useful important stuff.
They talked some more about law and different teaching styles of different faculties.
Everything was going well, except the sun was becoming a bit too much and Arnie's temples were starting to pulse.
Why now? He finally relaxed, finally forgot about what happened at home...
His stomach flipped at the reminder. He was pleasantly full just a minute ago, but now it felt like too much.
They paid and strolled around the gardens, when Arnie said: "Let's sit in the shade for a bit?"
Isaiah gave him a puzzled look that they barely got up and Arnie wanted to sit down already, but complied.
For such a historical sight, there were lots of people chilling on the benches in the shadows. Lots of trees planted for that purpose aside all the magnificently styled flowers everywhere.
"It's really hot today," Arnie said, tugging at the collar of his buttonup. Short sleveed, but still.
"There is a good ice cream stand nearby. I'll get you some." Isaiah patted him on the back as he left.
Arnie slumped back on the bench, relieved to be out of sight for a bit. He didn't want to ruin the tour that Isaiah planned out so carefully, but his head was positively pounding.
He didn't get a headache after the accident. That was weird in hindsight. Usually, when something stressful like that happened, he would absolutely get one.
He must have been too worried for Hector to let himself relax enough for it to set in. Veins must have finally opened from their tense contraction, and that's what made it painful.
Cold sweat was gathering at the back of his neck. His right temple felt like someone was putting a drill to it, while the other was held in a crushing grip.
The sunlight was so blinding, even though he was in a nice shade. He felt goosebumps on his arms, as his lovely lunch churned inside him.
Arnie leaned forward, planting his elbows on his knees as he swallowed heavily against the saliva pooling in his mouth.
His stomach let out an angry whine, cramping up. Arnie hid his face in his hands, taking quick shallow breaths. Not now, not now, not now.
He groaned as his lunch roiled inside him, sniffling. There weren't many people around him in particular but this was still a public space. Beautiful gardens under a tree with a view of the castle, no less.
A burp snuck its way past his lips. His upper lip was covered in sweat now too. He could taste the salt as he licked his lips.
Arnie knew from experience it would only make him more miserable to fight it. The pain in his temples pulsed in synch with his heartbeat.
When he looked up from his hands, the sunlight pierced his eyes even stronger. The pain in his left temple spiked and Arnie heaved, pulling his feet more apart.
He swallowed the first retch down, but the second almost made him choke. Letting his head hang between his knees, he burped, the third wave bringing up the cake and the cold coffee onto the ground.
His brain was buzzing in his skull, so he kept his eyes closed, completely giving in to the sensations. Another wave of puke landed between his feet. Arnie only hoped his shoes wouldn't get dirty.
"Aww kiddo. What happened to you?" He felt Isaiah's cold hand against his nape. Isaiah discarded the two scones of ice cream on the ground at the sight, sitting down gently next to him.
That's when another wave of yellow brown puke found its way up, tasting of the potato salad and meat. Arnie groaned, back arching as he vomited up the longest stream yet.
Isaiah held his shoulder to steady him, rubbing up and down with his thumb. "What happened? Did you feel sick suddenly? Or before? Is it the sun?"
Arnie burped emptily, spitting at the pool between his feat. The smell was making him nauseous still.
"I thought we took enough breaks in the shade. Maybe I miscalculated. You are sweating all over."
Arnie sniffled, his nose running. He kept his eyes closed still, the pounding in his head worse whenever the tried to open his eyes. He tilted towards Isaiah's voice blindly.
Isaiah obediently filled in the spot, letting Arnie lean against his shoulder. "Shhhhh. All good now. We will cool you down and you will feel better in no time."
Arnie sniffled again, curling into Isaiah's clean cologne, probably leaving a trail of snot behind. "Head hurtsss."
"I know, buddy, I know."
"...wanna go home."
Isaiah nodded over his head. "I'll call a taxi. We can go to my place too..."
Arnie shook his head. "Home." He wanted his own bed, his curtains, his medicine, though it would probably take a bit for his stomach to settle enough for it.
Isaiah was quite as they waited, only wrapping his arm around Arnie and helping him up when the taxi came. It was more or less a blurr for Arnie, who was glad Isaiah took over so eagerly, masterfully, despite not even knowing what was wrong.
As they sat in the back of the car, Arnie buried his face in Isaiah's chest, trying to muffle the sounds and light as much as possible.
"You will be okay. Just breathe."
"I'm sorry I ruined the trip."
"You didn't, you didn't. Should have chosen a later hour. With this heat-"
"Not the heat," Arnie sighed. "Migraine."
Isaiah tensed underneath him. "I'm sorry, what?"
"Miragine. It's fine. Not...not your fault."
"Since when do you get migraines?" Isaiah said in a strangled voice.
"Since I was 12? Or 13? Something like that." He moaned quietly as the car took a turn and jostled him.
Isaiah tighed his grip around his torso. They sat in silence for a while before he spoke again. "How often do you get them?"
"Not regularly anymore. Something...usually something triggers it."
Isaiah's hand went up his arm, gently sneaking into his sweaty hair. When Arnie leaned into the touch, Isaiah started rubbing at his temples gently.
"What triggered it this time?" Isaiah asked softly.
The car jostled them again, making them both jump up and down on their seats. Arnie tensed up, then buried his face against Isaiah's neck with a moan.
Isaiah held him as tight as he could without making it painful. Arnie fought against the growing pressure behind his eyes, lips pressed together.
"Arnie?"
Isaiah's voice was so soft and concerned in his ear it got the tears spilling down Arnie's cheeks. "I-it's nothing. Nothing really happened. We-we just-" He sobbed quietly.
"Shhhhh."
"We-we were in a car accident with Hex. Three days ago." He felt the coldness wash over them as the car came into the underground parking place of their apartment complex. Arnie blinked, leaning back, blinking his eyes open in relief at the darkness.
He looked at Isaiah with teary eyes. "I-I was driving and it wasn't my- but Hex, he- protected me and got super hurt and, and he is fine now..."
Isaiah watched him carefully, green eyes of the same shade meeting his. They seemed to have a glow in the dark from how intensity he focused on Arnie.
"But I was really scared, you know? And it's stupid to be upset about it, cause nothing h-happened-"
"It's not stupid. It was scary and horrible, no matter the outcome. I'm sorry."
"B-but I shouldn't be upset, right? Cause we are fine, we are both fine-" His breath hitched with another sob as another tear ran down his cheek. Some part of his brain wondered how the taxi driver didn't say a thing, waiting for Arnie to cry his eyes out on his backseat.
Isaiah brushed some sweaty blond hair away from Arnie's forehead. "And that's important that you are both healthy and okay. But it makes perfect sense you are upset too. You are allowed to get scared and worried."
Arnie's face twisted with another sob as Isaiah petted his hair gently, carefully watching him for any signs it was making the headache worse. But the pressure was really going down as Arnie let the emotion go, through words and tears.
"We didn't have to go out today if you were upset," Isaiah said.
"I wanted to see you though. And we had it scheduled..." so it was the best opportunity.
"If you called me, I would have come. We don't have to just meet when it's 'scheduled' or when you need help with something serious, you know?" Isaiah was still combing Arnie's hair away, when he started to look through his pockets with their other hand, manifesting a paper towel out of nowhere. "Here."
Arnie wiped his face and carefully blew his nose.
"I want to know when something happens in your lives. Good or bad, big or small," Isaiah said, no trace of reproach in his voice, though he sounded firm. "I want to be in the picture."
Arnie felt better hearing it somehow. It was like a permission to call him, even when the trouble wasn't real. Even if it was just Arnie wanting to talk.
The younger boy took a shaky breath, offering Isaiah a shy smile.

Curses Pt3
• Fear Street . 1978 - "I swear, if I could I would change their story, I would try to make them live" That's what she said to herself
Tumblr media
Again I apologize if my English is bad, as it is not my first language I have a little difficulty. I'm happy for @amazingori and other people liked the story. :)
It's been a week since I arrived at Camp Nightwing. I'm currently helping with the food that will be served soon but my schedule will soon end and I'll have to steal Tommy from Cindy so we can clean the cafeteria together. I finish using the knife and place it in the kitchen sink. — " Can someone tell me what day it is?! " I ask anyone in the kitchen, I hear someone leafing through the calendar papers and then respond. — " Today is day nineteen! It's color war day! " My smile falls from my face and I let the fruit bridge fall to the floor, which makes me startle myself. I crouch down and start picking the fruits and putting them back on the bridge, my hands are shaking, the day I feared most has finally arrived. The day of the massacre at the camp. After finishing placing all the fruit, I leave the kitchen, making the excuse that I had already given my schedule, which in this case, is not a lie, outside I start trying to catch my breath so I can calm down. I have to do something, I need to change this story, stop some people from having tragic endings, like Jeremy, Alice, Joan and others, they didn't deserve to go through all this, Tommy doesn't deserve to go through this . After returning to reality I start walking towards the bathroom so I can find them, but halfway there I see Ziggy walking and trying to wipe the blood from his nose. — " Oh, holy shit. " I let it out in a good tone from my lips, Ziggy looks at me and makes the silence sign with his finger, I give a slight roll of my eyes and walk back towards the bathrooms, close enough to me putting it in front of the doors that are open and I come face to face with Tommy and Cindy kissing.
— " Wow! I think I came at a bad time. " I caught them by surprise as I was too. When I saw that scene of the two kissing I genuinely felt a pang of jealousy, something I'm embarrassed to admit. — " Y/n! You took us by surprise! " Cindy answers me, letting out some nervous laughs, there's no need to worry, dear Cindy, I know they were cleaning before I arrived. — " Sorry, it was my mistake, but shouldn't you be in the company of Alice and Arnie? " I ask Cindy as I start to walk around and open the doors of the cabins realizing that none of them were there doing their work. — " Where did these two go? " Cindy asks herself irritably. — " I'll go after them both while you and Tommy can do your job. " Cindy turns her head back looking at me. — " Okay, in fact I think today is not your lucky day. " I whispered so she wouldn't hear. The tanned girl starts heading towards one of the cabins in search of Alice and her boyfriend, leaving Tommy and me alone, the blonde turns to me and looks me up and down, which makes me feel confused. — " I like the outfit, the skirt suits you. " Tommy says, my eyes slightly widen in surprise, I close and open my mouth several times before saying. — " Ah, thank you! " My blush is clearly visible. We're both already in the cafeteria. I'm cleaning the floor while Tommy is cleaning the tables. We both start to get into random things to talk about, like things about each other, what it was like meeting some of the counselors, some complaints, but nothing else. — "What were you trying to say when you said that today is not a good day for Cindy?" Tommy asks me, his question takes me by surprise which makes me nervous, it makes me scrub the floor faster and faster, I look at your direction before responding. — " Well, soon she'll tell you what must have happened but I saw Ziggy hurt, her nose was bleeding. " I left out part of the story. I know what happened to her, what she did, but I wasn't really there, so I can't say that. I feel my hands separating one from the other, an action that almost made me fall face down on the floor. I look at my hands and see the sponge split in half, knowing what that means makes me shiver from head to toe. — "What the fuck..." I hear Tommy laughing, I turn my face towards him. — " Not even sponges escape Y/n's swearing. " Tommy comments, which makes me let out a weak laugh. — " I'm going to get a new sponge. " I say as I get up but before I go towards the equipment room I turn around and say to him. — " Tommy, please don't disappear. " I tell him worriedly and with my breath a little unregulated, upon hearing and seeing my expression he gets confused but responds with an "Okay".
Something enters the room and I start looking for the sponge, I look everywhere on the shelf until I go down and find a sponge, while removing the plastic wrapped around the object in the corner of my eye I notice a figure passing by. I look around and don't find anyone, but now knowing who it is, my anxiety starts to attack. — "Tommy!" things are in the same places but Tommy isn't here, he's NOT here! You idiot, why didn't you stay here like I asked?! My breathing starts to accelerate more than before, I'm holding the sponge tightly. — "Tommy!!" I call his name more rigidly, my voice comes out shaky because I'm so nervous. — " Y/n? " I hear his voice behind me and quickly turn around seeing that he is alive and intact, I automatically calm down and a smile of relief appears on my face, Tommy was going to say something but was interrupted by the sounds of footsteps , when looking in the direction of their origin we see Nurse Lane, my smile quickly disappears from my face but the curious thing is that she is not looking at Tommy, no, she is looking at me. — "Nurse?" I call her confused, I see her face become sadder than it already is. — " I'm sorry, I can't save you.. " she begins, my blood runs cold, I'm frozen in the place where I am. What is wrong? — " It can't be... " I let it escape my lips in a whisper. The older one starts walking closer to me and I respond by walking backwards to keep my distance. — " I saw your name on the wall. One way or another, you're going to die tonight. " After she finished we could see the knife she was holding in her hand but she was quick enough to advance towards me. I'm stuck on the table while the nurse tries to stick a knife in my throat! I hold on as much as I can to prevent the knife from going through me, my back hurts from the grip of the table and the grip of the woman on top of me, I quickly use one of my legs to punch her in the stomach which causes her to drop her knife and allow me to push her! Before I could move away, the nurse came back on top of me and started to choke me. God, you can reserve a place for me today and I will certainly not return to Earth. When I started to feel like I was close to losing consciousness I felt the woman being brutally taken from me. The first thing I did was move away to the wall of the cafeteria and put my hand on the painful area. I have never been so happy to be breathing again. I look up and see Tommy close to the nurse's body, he took her away from me, Tommy if I could I would hug you right now. The blonde comes close to me and asks. — "Are you okay?! "He puts his hand on my cheek making me look in his direction, I don't answer him, the first action I do is put my hand behind my head and then I see that my fingers are covered in blood , God, this isn't right at all.
The police were called, I see the nurse, unconscious, lying on the stretcher being placed inside the ambulance. I can't stop asking myself, why me? It was supposed to be Tommy! I changed the story too much.. — "Did you have a problem with her? Did she have something against you?" The police officer in front of me takes me out of my thoughts, I look at him and shake my head in denial before speaking. — " No! She treated me very well, it even seemed like I was like a daughter to her! " I respond, still unable to swallow everything that happened. — "That doesn't make any sense, why would she do something like that?" Tommy asks the police officer. — " She must have been crazy, like her daughter. " I roll my eyes when I hear such a response, these incompetent police officers, always using the same excuse of it being an outbreak. — " Nurse Lane never seemed to be crazy and never was. " I say to the officer with a slight irritation in my tone of voice. — " That's what she said about her daughter. But sane people don't cut up their friends. Tell me again what happened. " The police officer orders, I again start to explain the entire scenario that occurred, I look to the side and see that Sheila I already went to tell Ziggy what happened in cabin five, I shake my hands in anger, then Ziggy runs to see what happened in her cabin while being called a witch. The police officer who was interrogating me finished everything that was supposed to be done and left, Tommy looks at me and says. — "I'm going to see Cindy, I'll be right back, ok?" He says as he leaves, I just respond with a nod. Nick had originally chosen the name Tommy, which was supposed to happen, but something changed for me, he chose me as the victim for his murders! It makes no sense! I can't say that I didn't do something against him as an example because Tommy hadn't done it either, Nick, you mysterious bastard. My thoughts are interrupted by the sound of the bell for us to go to the cafeteria.
Already sitting at the table I can hear the students talking about what happened, some act like idiots blaming the Shadysides, others wonder if they are going to cancel the activities, the rest are the least of it. — " She said that one way or another, Y/n would die today. " I return my mind to the topic at the table which is Tommy clarifying what happened, — " Sinistrooo!! Uaaaggh!! " Gary mocks the situation. — " The boys are right, this is, like, a total witch thing. " Joan says, taking the situation a little more seriously but still using the idiotic thoughts of the rest of the camp. — " It's just that, there has to be some explanation. The witch isn't real. " Cindy speaks calmly but seriously, being one of the few to take this whole situation seriously. — "Like which one?" Tommy asks. — " You'll see... you'll see, she was wearing something. " Cindy suggests looking at her friend putting marijuana in a joint. — " Shiiii! Drugs are peaceful, not violent! " Joan tries to correct. — " I'm not talking about marijuana. " Cindy replies somewhat irritated. — " Why don't you admit that you're jealous because witchcraft wanted your best friend JUST for her. " Gary scoffs as he tries to hug Tommy but the blonde pushes him away, Cindy rolls her eyes. — " Why would Nurse Lane do something like that? Why? Why would she want to kill me? " I ask them after a long time without saying anything. — " Huh? Not her. " Gary says. — " But maybe the witch wants to! " Joan joins in on Gary's joke, making me roll my eyes in anger. — " They're just joking. It was nothing, I swear to you. " Cindy tries to comfort me seeing how stressed about the situation I already am. — " You saw her eyes, I don't know, there was something in them, something wrong! " Tommy says while looking at me, I had really seen her eyes, now I understand you perfectly Tommy. I am taken out of my thoughts by the sound of clapping coming from behind me, when I look I see that it is Kurt trying to get people's attention to start an irritating speech that only increases the rivalry between the cities. I put my head on the table covering my ears to try to muffle the sound of his voice. I feel a hand stroking my head but I don't try to look at who it is. — " Deflagrate, damn it. " Gary says. — "It's dumb, but it's kind of charming." Joan responds while licking the paper of her joint, when I heard this girl saying that for the first time I felt like ripping my ears out. — " Complimenting? You praising? " Gary asks indignantly, soon Joan leaves the table to also present, she begins by thanking him for the speech with many quotation marks "nice", I see that Cindy also left the table to go after her sister, Tommy He also notices his girlfriend's escape but does nothing.
After everyone left the cafeteria I went to spend some time alone, after the attack I was released from my duties for two days, for someone who hit their head to the point of bleeding I believe that's not enough. I observe the insects and animals trapped in aquariums. I carefully observe this place, so simple but it will make great history, at least it did for the fans. I feel a headache hit me hard, making me put my hand on the area and let out a groan of pain. I start to hear a strange noise, as if I were in a forest with strong winds and I hear someone calling my name, no! I can't let myself give in to this! I don't want to hurt anyone, I shake my head trying to get myself out of this trance. I leave the room before I could do anything against everyone, when I leave the cabin I notice the condition of my clothes, my blouse is a little dirty and wrinkled, my long skirt is wet in some parts and with a little dirt on it, Luckily my coat didn't get dirty in all this, I start patting my skirt so the dirt can come off it and I start walking around the camp again. I hear the music being played on the speakers, I see several children painting their faces and doing different hairstyles for this war, Kurt is explaining to the citizens of Sunnyvale how to protect the flag that belongs to them, in the background I see Tommy with ours in his hands and explaining to the children, I give a soft smile as I witness the scene but again the pain hits me harder, I grimace with the pain but I return to normal. I continue walking but this time the pain insists on continuing, I look towards the lake and again the noises start, the voices get louder and louder, I shake my head strongly to get out of the trance again, I look back and I see that Cindy is talking. With Tommy, this is strange, Cindy had gone looking for answers before because of Tommy but I didn't imagine that she was still looking for any answers with me being the victim. I've been walking in circles for a few minutes or hours to see if this pain goes away but the opposite is happening, this is the most unbearable pain I've ever felt, I'm genuinely thinking about going into the infirmary and stealing some headache medicine.
I'm a few meters away from the infirmary, hiding against the wall of one of the cabins. Cindy and Tommy have just entered the infirmary, and in a few minutes Alice will appear. I can see a little through the windows what the two are doing. I start to hear footsteps and look in the opposite direction where I find the owners and also the owners of the laughs, Alice and Arnie, it's a little longer before they reach the nurse, again having the same headache but much stronger than the previous ones, I let out a grunt of pain but quickly compose myself seeing that Alice and Arnie noticed that the door is open and entered, Now it's time for me to go, I start to walk slowly towards the infirmary while I'm trying to warm my arms as a way to calm myself. to calm down. Already on the stairs to the nursing entrance I can hear their conversation from here, my hands are already on the doorknob and before I open the door I hear Cindy answering stuttering. — " No! I'm trying to find an answer! AS/n is very stressed about this! " She says in a desperate way so she can leave as quickly as possible, when I enter I answer her. — " I'm not, I'm perfectly fine. " This makes the rooms startle at my sudden appearance. — " Y/n! What are you doing here?! " Cindy questions me in surprise and follows me by looking at me, seeing me enter Lane's office, I start going through some drawers and find some bottles and finally find what I was looking for. — " Looking for medicine for a headache. " I answered her with a gentle smile while already taking a pill. — " Are you okay? " The tanned woman asks me worriedly and I shake my head in response. Arnie quickly grabbed the notebook that was in Tommy's hand, Tommy tried to get it back but Alice managed to catch it. — " She emerged near the meeting house. One hand amputated, lost forever. We hanged the witch, the body chained and buried. But without the hand, she still controls all these lands. Uuuh! " Alice recites the text and in the end laughs. — " This shit is about Sarah Fier. " Alice says mockingly. — " Alice! Please. " Cindy scolds her trying to get the book back but the blonde avoids it. — "When she walks near, blood is spilled. The curse will last until finally her body and hand unite." Alice adds. — " Alice.. This is Mary's diary, let's return it! " Cindy again tries to scold the girl. — " It's not just a diary, it's a map. "
— "It's what?" Cindy asks in surprise. — " The crazy nurse made a crazy map. " Alice responds, walking towards one of the beds and placing the book on top and starting to analyze it. — "It's the camp, but it looks like she wrote it over it." Alice lets out a soft laugh and puts her finger on one of the marked spots. — " Union 1666. " Alice reads. — " Union? It's Shadyside. " Cindy says making Alice look at her. — "What?" Alice questions. — " I mean, the colony before it was divided into Shadyside and Sunnyvale. " Cindy explains to the two. — " Really? " Cindy looks at Alice, indignant at the question. — "If you would only go to class." The tanned woman argues. — " So the camp was built in the same place as the colony. " Tommy connects the dots, Cindy looks at him and then goes back to looking at the map. — " Oops! Look! Look! Sarah Fier! " Arnie points out on the map a part that was written in the name, Alice and Cindy look at the indicated location. — "Look, are you thinking it's her house?" Alice asks, ironically. — "What are these X?" I ask them, looking in my direction, then Alice responds. — " There's only one way to find out. " With a mischievous smile she takes Cindy's notebook and bag and runs off with her boyfriend. — "Hey! Wait a minute! It's my bag!" . — "Are you okay?" His voice shows concern, I look at him and force a gentle smile. — " Yes, the headache is better than before but it's still here. " I answer, Tommy makes me go through the door first than him, the blonde starts to wear his red plaid blouse but before I start to go down I hear the sounds of the voices calling me, eyes to the fire and it seems more striking than normal. — " Y/n! " Cindy breaks me out of the trance by calling my name. — "Come on! They took everything!" I quicken my steps trying to follow them on their journey.
We've been walking through this forest looking for this hiding place for a few hours now, there are already two mosquitoes circling me, it's only getting worse with each passing minute, I need to be quick. Being distracted by the mosquitoes I didn't notice that a branch grabbed my skirt and I continued walking, which resulted in me almost falling and my skirt now leaving one leg exposed. I feel strong arms catch me before I could fall, I look up and see it's Tommy. — "Were you hurt?" He asks worriedly, I shake my head saying yes. — " Yes, I think I need more medicine for this pain. " I take the bottle that's in the pocket of my cold-weather shirt and take a pill. On second thought, I think it's best if I give a warning, in a discreet way. — " Tommy. " I call out to the boy, making his attention return to me. — " Yes? " He asks. — " If something happens from now on that requires sacrificing someone, would you kill them? " I question him, Tommy looks at me in shock at the question, the boy thinks before saying something. — " I don't know, why are you asking me that? Do you think something is going to happen? " He answers me with a new question, which makes me think of some way to answer him without seeming suspicious. — "We're going to Sarah Fier's possible hiding place, anything could happen, especially with those two of us leading." I respond, Tommy lets out a weak laugh before saying. — " It's true, but don't worry, nothing will probably happen. If it does, I promise I will protect you all. " He tries to bring me confidence and comfort but that only makes me more doubtful. — " Even if it's me? " Taken by surprise with this question, Tommy looks at me and stops, looking into my eyes he questions me. — "What are you trying to insinuate?" He asks me scared, I look around before answering. — " I just.. I don't know... Tommy, but if something happens and I have to, I want you to kill me. " I say it seriously, I try to hide how scared I am about the situation. — " Y/n, it's going to be okay, I promise you. " Tommy insists on getting that thought out of his head, it's better to agree, if I insist it will look more suspicious. — "Okay, you're right." I say with a fake smile.
Returning to the focus of the walk, I hear Cindy calling Alice's name looking for her. — "Alice! It's disgusting in here!" The girl says as she walks. — " We're almost there! Hang in there, Berman! " Alice responds, trying to get Cindy to relax. with the branch and looks at the hole in his clothes, swearing. — "Oh shit! Now it's ruined for good!" The girl regrets her blouse. — " Another swear word. " Tommy comments. — " Do you want me to kill you? " Cindy says threateningly in response to her boyfriend's sarcastic comment, I roll my eyes and close them tightly because of the sudden headache I feel. — " Y/n, are you okay? " Cindy asks me worriedly, I quickly open my eyes trying to hide it. — " It's okay, I'm fine. " I respond directly, I pass by the girl trying to continue going after Alice and Arnie but we are surprised by Alice's scream which leaves us worried, Cindy enters in front of everyone running after the girl screaming your name. — " Alice! " The girl runs desperately looking for the blonde, I quicken my steps trying to keep up, when we find her the blonde was coming out of a newly dug grave. — "Watch your step." Alice warns us as she cleans the dirt from her clothes and body. — "Did someone dig a grave?" Tommy questions, getting closer and analyzing the hole. — " Tombs. " Alice corrects, pointing the flashlight at several tombs scattered around the place. — " Mary... oh! Where is... " Tommy remembers and picks up the book that is lying on the floor. — "The x's, look! Look! Look! Here! She was marking where she dug." Tommy points out an assumption showing the arguments on the map, Alice comes closer and looks where it is being pointed out, she takes the notebook and turns the sheet over. — "But without her hand she can still control all these lands." Alice remembers what she had read earlier. — "The curse will last until finally the body and hand unite." Alice finishes and looks at Tommy. — "Maybe Mary was after the hand." The blonde suggests and turns the page to one with the image of the witch cutting off her hand. — " To break the curse. " Tommy adds. — " The curse that made her daughter go crazy. " Alice adds even more and then Cindy interrupts. — "Guys, come on! This is ridiculous!" She argues, laughing. — "Yeah. I'm going to take a piss." Arnie agrees and leaves the place. Tommy walks away from Alice, thoughtful about the conversation. — " Lend me that. " Alice asks but before Tommy can hand it over, Cindy enters the middle, taking the book, standing in front of her ex-friend. — " You can stay. But first, return the drugs. " Cindy puts a condition on the situation.
— "If Mary took it and went crazy, these drugs are very dangerous!" Cindy defends herself, making Alice laugh mockingly. — " Good God! What happened to you? Remember when we had fun? Before you became a snitch. " Alice starts to get closer and her tone changes to a little threatening. —" Forget that story. ", Cindy orders. — " It's easy for you to say, you lying traitor. " Before Alice could say anything else, Arnie appears saying he found something. — " I found the witch's house. " He says with a smile on his face as if he had just found a treasure. We went towards the place and found a chapel and stairs that led to somewhere underground, Arnie plays with almost making Alice fall which causes him to get pushed in response. — " Hey Sarah! Do you have candy down there? " Alice asks mockingly. — " We're high and hungry. " Alice says. — " Sarah Fier!! " The blonde screams making my ears hurt. — " Enough! We've seen enough. " Cindy tries to end the walk here but is not heard. — " So go home, Berman, look, I didn't come all this way for nothing, okay? " Alice responds, feigning false sympathy and then gives Cindy the middle finger, the girl starts to go down the stairs. — "Are you crazy?! " Cindy asks, indignant at the blonde's attitude. — " Alice! " Cindy calls her for the second time and tries to call her again but is ignored. When she enters the place she finds several candles, plants, hanging objects, and finds a candle that was recently lit. — " It looks like someone was down here! " She tells us, Cindy is the first to go down and the rest of us followed. — " And it's been a short time. " Alice adds after touching the candle, we begin to analyze the place, seeing things stuck and disorganized. When I enter the cave, I started analyzing all the places in this cave, hanging things, herbs and other things that I don't know about, Alice finds a small entrance. — " Hey Sarah Fier! If you're here, say something! " Alice shouts trying to get the attention of a person who is already dead, she looks back before entering and says. — "Maybe she's shy" she says jokingly, Alice sneaks in, Cindy catches her attention and goes after her. — " Alice! Damn! " Cindy runs towards the blonde making the rest of the group go along leaving me alone. When I look to the side I find the ax with other tools next to it, I better sit far away, it seems that the amount of mosquitoes has increased. It's close. I sit a few meters away from the tools, this cave doesn't give me many options. I touch the wound on my head, it has stopped bleeding but it still hurts, the headache is back and now it is stronger than ever and none of these medicines will help! Crap! Please Tommy, Cindy,
— " Come on Alice! I hope Joan fucking still has herbs if we pay. " Arnie calls Alice, shit! Arnie you idiot! I don't know if this urge to punch you is my anger or if I'm already starting to get possessed. Arnie leaves on the other side of the cave while Alice stays. — " We're leaving, let's go, man. " Arnie says to me, getting closer, I don't respond with my eyes closed so as not to lose concentration, I hear Arnie getting closer to me. — " Hey! Are you okay, man? " Arnie tries to get my attention again. — " Hi? " Another attempt but I don't respond, I failed, it's too late. Arnie claps his hands in front of my face. — " Hi? " He tries a second time. I continue my focus on the conversation in the cave next door. — " I have to show you something. " Alice says. — " This place... it has no end! " Cindy tries to show something but Alice interrupts saying that it was for now. Alice starts saying the names of the Shadyside killers that are written on the cave wall. — "Mary's daughter.." Cindy says. — "Yeah, I don't need to go to class to know these names." Cindy is silent so Tommy responds. — " The Shadyside killers.. " He says, realizing. — " Taking one. " Alice points with the flashlight at my name written on the wall. — " Y/n? " Cindy questions showing indignation. — " Alice, that's not funny! " Tommy scolds her. — "Do you think I carved our friend's name into the solid stone with my nails?" Alice argues, leaving them both silent. I feel my body lifting even though I haven't thought anything about getting up, oh no, shit! Please let's go quickly!! — " Y/n? " Arnie calls me for the third time and I still don't answer him, in fact I can't answer him, I can't speak, something stops me. — " Hi?.. I don't know what you used but I could share. " Arnie taps my shoulder and that makes me finally open my eyes, passing my hand through the tools I remove the ax and analyze it as it arrives. closer and closer to Arnie, no!! No no!! How do you make it stop?! How do I stop walking? I hear Tommy calling my name but I unintentionally ignore him, Arnie looks back seeing me with an ax in my hands which makes him confused. — "What are you doing?" He asks me, still mocking, with each step I take I get closer to him and hold the ax tightly, upon realizing such an approach his smile fades and he calls my name worriedly but I use all my strength my strength stops pulling the ax and hitting him right in the head, drops of his blood fly to my face, even with his body lying on the ground I hit him again opening a second gap in his face and once again I hit him, third, I feel my stomach drop seeing the scene I'm causing. I can hear the girls scared and Tommy trying to pull them away, when I look back I see that the flashlight is pointed in my direction, I turn completely towards the three of them making them see my face covered in blood. Alice is in shock looking at the body of her dead boyfriend, Cindy looks at me completely terrified and Tommy is bewildered and with his arms only around the two girls, Cindy lets out a scream when she sees my face so Tommy pulls them both to enter again the cave full of names. My steps are faster than normal, I'm walking towards them who are knocking over the bookcase to open an exit, Cindy, seeing my face again, screams, Tommy starts shouting for the two to come in, pushing them to make it go faster , but I'm also quick, when Tommy comes in I grab two of his legs with hatred and pull them towards me, he starts to struggle and the girls try to pull him back, in the middle of our fight Tommy kicks my face hard, making I let go of him and hit my head against the wall and that made me retreat back as thousands of rocks started to fall towards the entrance.
After all the rocks fell, I realized that I managed to regain half of my consciousness! I can have a little control over my body but I don't think it will last for long. I wipe the blood from my nose, I never imagined I would get kicked in the face, especially by Tommy. — "Did you hear that?" Alice said from the other side, managing to hear my heavy breathing. — "Is she still alive?" Tommy asks, looking relieved but at the same time worried. — " She's trapped. " Alice says, trying to calm down, trying to calm down. — " She's trapped. " She says again, I pick up the ax that's just beside me and look at the blood that's on it. — " I.. I'm a monster. " I whisper in a tone loud enough for them to hear, but I'm not talking to them, I need to get out of here and kill Nick Goode. I'm sorry Ziggy. I leave the room of names and quickly go up the stairs with the ax in my right hand. I just stop climbing to catch my breath, I don't have much time, and I feel like I'm being possessed again.

When The Omnivores Scream - Chapter twelve: The first trophy
Tumblr media
Breathe in, breathe out. There's no reason to panic, not now. Stay calm and collected. All she needed to do was let the shape strike, sounds illogical, yes, but she already striked first and hard. If she wastes energy by swinging the fire extinguisher around, she could slip up or have her defence down. She can't risk that, not now when the guys are with her. As Eva-Maja steadied herself in the dimly lit second-floor hallway, her grip on the cold metal of the fire extinguisher tightened. The ominous presence of Michael Myers loomed closer, a shadow draped in malevolence, driving a slight chill in her body, making her suddenly shake for a second. With no time to consider her options, she braced herself for the imminent attack, every instinct screaming to strike back or flee. But just as the hulking figure lunged toward her, her teammates sprang into action, filling the corridor with a surge of courage and reckless behaviour.
Joselito was the first to react, his martial arts training kicking in as he deftly wielded the pair of knives he'd snatched from the kitchen. The glint of steel caught the eerie glow of the hallway lights as he moved with precision, aiming to distract and disarm the relentless killer. Malik, ever resourceful, wielded the makeshift weapon—swinging it with fierce intent to create a barrier between Eva-Maja and the threat. His heart raced, but he focused on the task at hand, knowing that every second counted.
Anders, despite his age, summoned an unexpected reserve of strength. He stepped forward with fists clenched, embodying a raw willpower that belied his frail appearance. Each punch he threw was fueled not just by the urge to damage but by a fierce overprotectiveness to the younglings. Together, they formed a formidable front against Michael. It was unfair, being that it was four against one. The odds were stacked heavily against their solitary target, yet in the horror reality of Haddonfield, such a showdown seemed almost inevitable. Michael Myers, the infamous boogeyman, had haunted the town's people for far too long, casting a shadow over its streets that no amount of light could dispel. While the group understood the principles of fairness and honour, they also grasped the gravity of the situation they faced. It wasn't just about a simple confrontation; it was an all-or-nothing gamble against the embodiment of recent darkest fears.
Each member of the group was acutely aware of what was at stake, even if they hadn't realised it at the beginning. They were not just fighting for their lives; they were battling to reclaim the town from the clutches of a monster who had revelled in blood and terror. Justifiable as it seemed, the weight of their decision lingered heavily on their shoulders. They knew that in the annals of Haddonfield, this would not be merely another encounter; it would be a defining moment, one that would etch their names into the town’s lore forever. Yet, the reality of confronting a figure whose very name invoked horror made them question whether any sense of fairness could ever survive in the face of pure evil. Could they really justify their actions when pushed to the brink? Or would this fight only deepen the darkness that enveloped them all?
To say that Joselito could have attacked Michael in that small, long hallway all by himself was an understatement. His mastery of arnis transformed every narrow inch of that cramped space into a deadly theatre of movement, where his swift strikes flowed like water around jagged rocks. The unpredictability of his attacks made it nearly impossible for Michael to anticipate or counter each blow effectively. Every time Joselito advanced, Michael found himself scrambling to block or parry, his frustration mounting with each failed defence. Despite Michael's formidable reputation, he couldn't touch Joselito; the agility and finesse of the arnis fighter rendered him untouchable.
As their skirmish unfolded, it became clear that not only was Joselito a force to be reckoned with, but the coordinated efforts of Anders and Malik added another layer of complexity to the encounter. Every small pause—each moment where Joselito's agility momentarily forced Michael to defend—became a window of opportunity for his allies to strike. They honed in on Michael with grim resolution, inflicting injuries that only deepened the aura of rage that surrounded the masked killer. It was an irritating antithesis to his usual dominance; every hit he failed to land and every wound inflicted by Anders and Malik chipped away at the facade of invulnerability he had so carefully constructed. This relentless assault fueled an anger in Michael that made the situation even more volatile, as he struggled not just against Joselito's prowess but also against the mounting disadvantage inflicted by teamwork.
Eva-Maja stood frozen at the edge of the disarray scene unfolding before her. Her heart raced as her eyes darted between the two men and Joselito, who seemed to move with a precision born of desperation. They struck Michael with a relentless barrage, each blow resonating with a sickening thud against his chest, forcing him down to his knees. It was as if they were trying to ground a creature born of nightmares; each strike caused him to stumble slightly, but somehow, he remained upright, clinging to an unyielding resolve. The boogeyman’s eyes burned with fury, reflecting the shadows of the surrounding battle field, a testament to his refusal to be felled by mere mortals. Eva-Maja knew that Michael was formidable, but witnessing the struggle ignited a strange mix of fear and admiration within her.
The air was thick with tension, and her pulse echoed in her ears as she weighed her options; should she intervene, or was it best to remain a bystander? She felt an urge to help, to perhaps turn the tide in this confrontation, yet she hesitated, unsure of what she could contribute against such an evil foe. Each collision reverberated around her, drawing her deeper into the spectacle, and she clenched her fists, grappling with her feelings of powerlessness. The disorderly scene unfolded with a raw intensity, as Michael took advantage of Anders’ defenselessness. With no weapons to defend himself, only his knuckles, Anders was at the mercy of Michael’s aggression. The dull thud of Michael’s elbow against Anders’ face echoed in the cramped space, drawing gasps from bystanders as blood spurted from the old man’s nose. Pain coursed through Anders, causing him to stagger back and clutch his face in shock.
“Look out, Anders!” Eva-Maja shouted, her voice slicing through the tension like a knife, desperately trying to warn him of Michael’s next move. She felt a surge of helplessness as she watched the brutal scene unfold, her instinct to protect kicking in while Malik muttered curses under his breath, grappling with his own anxiety. He instinctively stepped in front of Anders, hoping to shield him from further blows, but the havocc of the skirmish made it hard for anyone to intervene effectively. The air felt thick with tension, the fight spiralling out of control.
Eva-Maja's heart raced as she watched the mess unfold around her. Joselito, with his agile Arnis skills, had already managed to shove Michael Myers backwards in the narrow confines of the second hallway. The menace of horror was momentarily distracted, grappling now with Malik, who skillfully parried Michael's knife with the leg of a nightstand, a makeshift weapon holding its ground against the relentless killer. The sight sparked something within her. In her mind, a plan began to take shape; if she could rally Joselito’s expertise once more, they could exploit the cramped space to their advantage.
“Joselito!” she shouted, her voice cutting through the tension, “Help Malik push him towards the rails!” It was a risky manoeuvre, but with clear teamwork, they could force Michael backwards, away from them and closer to the edge. Every second felt like an eternity, and through the blur of movement and adrenaline, Eva-Maja caught a glimpse of her cat, Alfons, perched on a nearby railing. His wide eyes reflected a mix of curiosity and trepidation. She felt a surge of hope; if they could drive Michael towards the railing, perhaps they could trap the evil in this unnerving game of survival. With her heart pounding, Eva-Maja steadied herself, ready to play her part in this dangerous dance, trusting that Joselito and Malik would follow her lead against the relentless threat before them.
With Michael Myers preoccupied with Malik and his fierce strikes, Joselito seized the opportunity. He lunged at the masked figure from behind, delivering a blow so forceful that it sent Michael stumbling forward, unprepared for the sudden assault. Malik, quick to seize his own opportunity, swung his leg-stand bat with precision, landing another hit that propelled Michael deeper into the fray. The situation spiralled as Michael attempted to regain his balance, but the malevolent force he embodied was momentarily compromised. With a fierce resolve, he swung around to retaliate, but time was not on his side. Clumsily, he began to fall backwards against the stair railing, a flash of orange darted across the floor—Alfons, the curious cat, deftly manoeuvred to avoid the encroaching danger. Just in time, he leapt aside, avoiding any mishap as Michael crashed down behind him. The wood groaned under the unexpected weight of his descent.
The moment Michael fell off the second floor, Eva-Maja felt time stretch around her, a surreal silence enveloping the chaos as her instincts kicked in. Without a second thought, she sprinted towards the railings, her heart pounding in her chest. In one fluid motion, she leapt atop the railing, the rush of air igniting a fierce determination within her. With a swift flick, she unsheathed her mother’s blade, its polished steel glinting ominously in the dim light, a reflection of her resolve. Off the edge she went, descending alongside Michael, the ground rushing up to meet them both.
As they plummeted, the world around them distorted, a blur of shapes and colors blending into a cacophony of adrenaline. Eva-Maja felt the weight of gravity pulling at her, yet her focus remained razor-sharp. She surged downward with purpose, propelled by a fierce desire to confront him. Despite the mayhem of his backwards fall, Michael could sense her fierce presence, the blurred outline of her determination drawing closer with each passing moment. His eyes widened with a mix of surprise and recognition; she was never a potential victim but had transformed into a formidable adversary. Then, in a chilling instant, it happened. The biting edge of her blade met flesh, slicing through the air with deadly accuracy. A sharp gasp escaped Michael as the cold steel kissed his throat, the warmth of his own blood soaking through his skin, a vivid reminder of the peril he had underestimated. In that moment of clarity, he realised the extent of her commitment, that this was what she had intended all along. The surprise faded, replaced by an unsettling acknowledgment—Eva-Maja had embraced the fight, harnessing her fear into a powerful weapon against what he stood for. As they fell, the lines between predator and prey blurred, intertwining their fates in a dance as old as time itself.
Eva-Maja collapsed to the ground, her knees sinking into the gritty earth as pain shot through her limbs like electric needles. She cradled the severed masked head of Michael Myers, its lifeless eyes staring blankly at the horizon, and felt an overwhelming mix of triumph and despair wash over her. The knife that had ended his reign of terror still gleamed in her hand, slick with his blood, as if still buzzing with the violent energy of their final confrontation. Her heart raced, a wild drumbeat that matched the chaotic symphony of her thoughts. For just a few fleeting seconds, she closed her eyes, surrendering to the throbbing ache in her legs and the weight of her actions. But as she gathered herself, the metallic scent of blood permeated the air; it was an unwelcome reminder of the darkness that had enveloped her life. She opened her eyes slowly, the world coming back into focus as a horrible awareness settled in her stomach. Something cold and hard dropped into her lap, the remnants of the dissaray swirling around her. The visceral reality of what she had done knotted her insides. In that haunting moment, Eva-Maja understood that victory could be as suffocating as defeat, and the battle within her soul had only just begun. It was quiet, too quiet, the kind of silence that seemed to stretch on forever in the dim light of the room. The air was thick with tension as Eva-Maja turned around, her heart pounding in her chest. At the foot of the stairs, Anders, Malik, and Joselito stared at her in shock, their faces a mix of disbelief and confusion. What they had just witnessed was incomprehensible, a stark break from the reality they shared just moments before. Eva-Maja's lips trembled as she tried to gather her thoughts, the weight of the moment pressing down on her. All that would escape her mouth were odd, strained sounds—"I's"—fragments of words that wouldn't materialise into an explanation.
Then, as if time itself had fractured, she caught sight of the familiar figure of Doctor Loomis stepping hurriedly into Tommy's home. Panic surged through her veins like ice water. She glanced around helplessly, her mind racing as a desperate instinct took over. In a flurry of movement, she clumsily sprang up and hurled herself through the broken window, crashing through shards of glass and stumbling as she landed outside. As she darted away, weaving through the backyards of Haddonfield, a cry rang out behind her. Malik was screaming her name, his voice laced with a mix of anger and fear, but she didn't dare look back. Poor Alfons was meowing at his owner when he saw her running away, the cat knew she didn't leave him intentionally, but it still hurt. All three males' eyes met briefly, and in that fleeting moment, all of them knew that there was no time to linger. The authorities were closing in, and they had to flee, even if it made them incredibly suspicious in this world, but it wasn't as if they were going back. So they might as well throw that concern out of the window.
They went their different directions, the younger duo scrambled towards the room where Laurie was hiding in the closet, as they went to the second-floor window of the house, their adrenaline surged. The moonlight glinted off their faces as they peered into the cloak of night, weighing their options.
"Left or right?" Joselito hissed, his voice laced with panic.
“Right!” Malik shouted, instinctively darting down the narrow alley that snaked behind the house. It was dimly lit, cloaked by overgrown bushes—a perfect cover from the prying eyes of law enforcement. They sprinted, their sneakers barely making a sound against the damp concrete, hearts racing, not just from the exertion but from the thrill of the chase. As they navigated through the alleys, they exchanged glances filled with an unspoken bond. They had become unlikely partners in crime and now partners in flight. The muffled sounds of distant sirens reminded them that time was of the essence.
Meanwhile, as Joselito and Malik raced away, their older companion, Anders, chose a different path. At sixty-two, Anders embodied wisdom etched into every line of his face. True, his athleticism had waned, but his mind was sharp, filled with memories of times gone by and lessons learned. Rather than join the frantic escape of the two young men, Anders paused, allowing them to dart away into the night. He caught his breath for a moment, evaluating the situation. He understood the gravity of their choices, and while he once lived for adventure, he was no longer willing to embrace disharmony. Instead of fleeing toward the uncertain safety of the window and alleyways, Anders turned his gaze to the dense woods bordering the property. The trees stood like ancient sentinels, their branches offering a sanctuary far from the fray. He moved deliberately, knowing that in these quiet woods, he could find solace from the noise of sirens and chaos. He made sure to scope up Alfons as he swiftly made his way down the stairs without letting Loomis have a chance of capturing or being rational to him, fleeing from the back door as he could feel his back ache a bit from the fast movements, he was so out of shape.
Reflecting on the choices that had led each of them to this moment, Anders felt a profound sense of responsibility for the reckless youth. He wanted to mentor Joselito, Malik, and Eva-Maja, teaching them the art of survival in a world fraught with pitfalls. Yet, he knew a life prioritised by thrill would ultimately come at a cost. Eva-Maja never thought that her evening would turn into a frantic sprint through the back alleys of Haddonfield. The vibrant nightlife had lulled her into a false sense of security, but now she was engulfed in andreline, clutching a severed head wrapped in her dark green cardigan—an absurd sight that would haunt her memories for years to come.
Everything transpired so quickly: the sound of beaten flesh, clumsy actions, and then a suffocating silence, punctuated only by her ragged breaths as she navigated through the darkness. The alleyways were her only refuge, their maze-like structures both a hindrance and a sanctuary. Taking a path with no woods nearby, she had resorted to these narrow paths, driven by sheer instinct to reach safety. Every step felt like a betrayal of her own sanity, yet she pressed on, fueled by a tumult of adrenaline and anxiety. The streets were a blur, the distant sounds of the town fading into a background hum, replaced by the urgent thumping of her own heart.
Finally, she emerged onto Chestnut Street, a flicker of hope igniting within her as she spotted the taxi parked at the curb. It was a beacon for her, a promise of escape from the event she had stumbled into. She rushed forward, tugging anxiously at the front seat door, only to find it locked. Panic clawed at her throat. It made sense, but she didn't want it to right now. She wanted to leave, escape! But just as the dread threatened to swallow her whole, a reassuring sound broke through the tension: the click of the car doors unlocking. She turned to see Anders, his face etched with urgency, sprinting towards her. Relief coursed through her veins as he slid behind the driver’s seat, ready to embrace the perilous escape that awaited them.
“Get in!” he shouted, urgency lacing his voice. As she rushed into the back seat, she could see Malik and Joselito approaching, their expressions mirroring her own blend of anxiety and determination. Anders placed Alfons in his own lap, knowing that it wasn't smart placing a body part with the animal. The taxi roared to life as Anders slammed his foot on the accelerator. The town blurred past them, becoming a smattering of lights and shadows as they raced away from the scene. Eva-Maja could hardly process what had just happened; her mind wrestled with the surreal reality of clutching something so horrifying in her arms while trying to keep the world from crashing down around her. As the townscape evaporated behind them, Eva-Maja glanced down at her cardigan, stained crimson with the remnants of her nightmarish ordeal. This night would change them all irrevocably, intertwining their destinies in ways none of them could have anticipated. At one moment, Joselito wanted to question the group about how they were supposed to get out of this world. But before he could let out his full sentence, the moment they passed the welcome to Haddonfield sign on the road. The light that had taken them to the Entity's realm for the first time had swallowed them whole once again.
Tumblr media
When we wrote this fanfic, we decided to stick to the original timeline of Halloween, which is the curse of thorne storyline. It was a difficult decision to make because we didn’t want to make Michael too powerful, yet also too weak. So we decided to make a more realistic approach to how the group was going to deal with him. And if you think it was a poor execution of it, honestly, say what you want, but this is how we decided Michael's fate needed to end in Haddonfield. And yes, I did write in Haddonfield. Michael's presence isn't over yet. If anything, it had just begun.

Chapter 29 of Roneo and Kimliet
Chapter 29
(Feb. 15, 2006, 4:49pm)
It was now time for the fifth and final scene of Act I of Romeo and Juliet . And Kim feared this scene as the worst one of the act, for she had to kiss Ron on the lips...without any Moodulating chip.
It is not a BF/GF kiss in any way, shape or form . she thought to herself, You are doing this only for a grade, nothing more.
Lord Capulet, played by Reeger, came on to the stage first. This was followed by Tybault, played by TJ (who doubled as one of the Chorus members and who Barkin gave to since he didn't announce who played the character), Zita as Lady Capulet. Kim, of course, came in as Juliet, and the Nurse, played by Ashley A. Half of the class made up the Capulets when not as the chorus
They then saw Ron, Felix and Arnie as Romeo, Benvolio, and Marcuito, respectively.
Kim gulped upon seeing Ron, while Ashley A gave an evil smirk.
Just you wait and see, Possible...
Reeger then proclaimed, "Welcome, gentlemen. The ladies who aren't shy shall dance for you! Ha, my ladies, which of you will refuse to dance now? Does this hit close to home? Welcome gentlemen. Come on musicians, play music!"
Amanda sighed from her desk and put out a CD player with a CD that says, "Lame-o 16th Century Elizabethian Music" in permanent marker. She put the CD inside the player and started to play it. She had been instructed by the Glee Three to stop at certain intervals in the scene.
The students on the stage began to dance to the Shakespearian music.
To one of the Capulet's Cousins, played by Earwin Lawson whom was a senior at the time of Middleton High and played defensive end for the Mad Dogs football team, Reeger then added.
"Ah, sir. These unexpected guests are welcome. No, sit, sit, my Capulet cousin. We're too old to dance. How long has it been since you and I last wore masks?"
Earwin replied, "I'd say about 30 years."
"What? No, it hasn't been that long. It was at Lucentio's wedding. No matter how quickly the years fly by, it's been just 25 years since we last wore masks.
Ron went to a servingman, played by Mikey Blumberg. Mikey, as well as his other friends from 3rd Street School from their youth, were all juniors at Middleton High.
He was looking at his longtime friend.
"Who is the girl on the arm of that lucky man over there?" Ron asked, trying to keep himself in character.
Mikey replied, "I don't know, sir."
"Oh, she shows the torches how to burn bright! Her beauty is too good for this world; she's too beautiful to die and be buried. She outshines the other women like a white dove in the middle of a flock of crows. When this dance is over, I'll see where she stands, and then I'll touch her hand with my rough and ugly one. Did my heart ever love anyone before this moment! My eyes were liars because I never saw true beauty before tonight."
Inside Ron's head, there was Joyous Ron, Angry Ron, Fearful Ron, Disgust Ron, and Sadness Ron.
"I don't know if we should do this..." Fearful Ron replied, "I don't know if we should kiss Kim. It could impact our friendship with her in a negative way. He's known her for almost 13 years!"
"Look at it this way..." Angry Ron said "...it's either this or getting an F on the course and not graduating on the stage!"
"But shouldn't we celebrate that we are actually going to get Ron to finally, for real, kiss Kim?" Joyous Ron asked. "It would be like getting the largest chimmerito that Bueno Nacho has ever made! Covered in sweet and spicy Diabo sauce!
"No...Kim's going to get mad at him...her parents are going to get mad at him...and he'll get grounded for life by his parents!" Sadness Ron whined before breaking down in tears.
"Ewww...I think she would totally use the wrong lip gloss to kiss Ron on the lips." Disgust Ron said.
Tybault, played by TJ, then came onto the scene glaring at Ron.
"I can tell by his voice that the man is a foul Montague!" Looking at the Page, played by Gus, who also was doing double-duty as one of the chorus members, he added, "Get me my sword!"
With his eyes back at Ron, TJ continued, "What, does this peasant dare to come here with his face covered by a mask to sneer and scorn our celebration?"
Gus gave TJ a styrofoam and grey plastic sword.
TJ added, "Now, by the honor of our family, I do not consider it a crime to kill him!"
Reeger intervened and asked "Why? What's going on here, nephew? Why are you so angry?"
"Uncle, this man is a Montague-our enemy!" TJ exclaimed, "He's a scoundrel who's come here out of spite to mock our party!"
"That must be Romeo, right?" Reeger asked.
"That's him, that villain Romeo." TJ exclaimed.
"Calm down, cousin. Leave him alone!" Reeger insisted, "He carries himself like a dignified gentleman..."
Ron was also picking his nose while waiting for his line.
"...and to tell you the truth, he holds a reputation throughout Verona as a well-behaved young man. I wouldn't insult him in my own house for all the wealth in this town. So calm down. Just ignore him. That's what I want, and if you respect my wishes, you'll look nice and stop frowning because that's not the way you should behave at a feast."
"It's the right to way to act when a villain like him shows up!" TJ countered, "I won't tolerate him!"
"You will tolerate him! What, little man? I say you will. What the...am I the boss here or you?" Reeger exclaimed "You'll start a riot among my guests! There will be chaos and it will be your fault.
"But uncle, we're being disrespected!" TJ shouted.
"Go on, go on..." Reeger mocked, "You're an insolent little man. Is that how it is, really? This stupidity will come back to bite you. You're a punk, get away! Keep your mouth shut or else!"
"More light! More light!" Reeger then called out to the lighting crews to intensify the stage lights. They did so.
Turning back to TJ, he added, "I'll shut you up!"
"The combination of forced patience and pure rage is making my body tremble!" TJ insisted, holding onto the plastic sword, "I'll leave here now, but Romeo's prank, which seems so weet to him now, will turn bitter to him later."
As TJ left, the other students on the stage resumed the coordinated dancing. Amanda then whispered something to the head student of the lighting crew to focus on the attention of Kim and Ron, whom were also dancing as well up to this time. This was also when Amanda turned the video camera to focus on the pair as well as zooming in to make sure she got some grade-A footage for Bonnie and her co-horts.
When the lighting focused on them, Kim gulped as she held both hands with Ron. Both of their cheeks began to blush at the fluttering language of the next few lines.
"Your hand is like a holy place that my hand is unworthy to visit." Ron said to Kim with his cheeks blushing. "If you're offended by the touch of my hand, my two lips are standing here like blushing pilgrims, ready to make things better with a kiss.
Kim gathered the strength to read her next line, despite her nervousness.
"Good pilgrim, you don't give your hand enough credit. By holding my hand, you show polite devotion. After all, pilgrims touch the hands of statues of saints. Holding one palm against another is like a kiss."
Amanda meanwhile focused the video camera on them.
"Don't saints and pilgrims have lips too?" Ron asked, leaning in closer to Kim.
"Yes, pilgrim!" Kim replied, "They have lips that they're supposed to pray with."
It's only a play, Possible. It's only a play.
"Well then, saint, let lips do what hands do" Ron replied with his cheeks blushing even more. "I'm praying for you to kiss me. Please grant my prayer so my faith doesn't turn to despair.
Kim replied nervously smiling, "Saints do move, even when they grant prayers."
Ron then replied, "Then don't move while I act out my prayer."
As he said this, Ron leaned in, took a deep breath and kissed Kim on the lips for a small six seconds. Amanda zoomed in with the camera with glee.
"Now my sin has been taken by your lips." Ron said with a slightly higer voice over this act.
"Do my lips now have your sin?" Kim asked, her cheeks just flush with red.
"Sin from my lips?" Ron wondered, "You encourage crime with your sweetness. Give me my sin back."
And with that, both he and Kim kissed a second time on the lips. This time, it was a five second kiss.
"You kissed like you studied how." Kim replied after composing herself upon kissing her best friend twice in that span of 15 seconds.
Ashley A, upon seeing that Amanda has done her job in capturing both kisses of Team Possible for Bonnie, pushed Ron to the side and said to Kim while slightly pulling up her bib down overalls. The pin to her belt broke earlier in the day and it was no good in doing up the strap since she manipulated both buckles so Ashley A was forced to hold them up by the hand.
"Madam, your mother wants to talk to you."
Ron then asked to Ashley A, "Who is her mother?"
Ashley A said with a slight grin, for she and the rest of the Mean Cheers agreed to meet at Bonnie's house at 7:30pm tonight. Bonnie also texted that she was at ballet practice, for that was her routine every Wednesday.
"Indeed, young man, her mother is the lady of the house. She is a good, wise, and virtuous lady. I nursed her daughter, whom you were just talking to. Let me tell you, the man who marries her will become very wealthy."
Ron then stood alone and said, "Is she a Capulet? Oh, this is a heavy price to pay! My life is my enemy's debt."
Felix then came to Ron and said, "Come on, let's go while everything is still perfect.
Ron replied to Felix over what had happened. "Yes, but I'm afraid I'm in more trouble than ever."
Reeger came up to the pair and said, "No, gentlemen, don't get ready to go now. We have a little dessert coming up. Is that really true, Well then, I thank you both. I thank you honest gentlemen. Good night. Bring more torches over here. Come let's get to bed. Ah, my man, I swear it's getting late. I'm going to get some rest"
And with that, almost everyone left the stage except for Ashley A and Kim. Kim's blushing from those two kisses had faded away.
"Come over here, nurse." Kim insisted to the Mean Cheer member, "Who is that gentleman?"
Ashley A replied , "He is the son and heir of old Tiberio."
Kim then asked, "Who's the one who's going out the door right now?"
Ashley A then said, "Well, that one, I think, is young Petruchio."
"Who's the one following over there?" Kim then questioned, pointing, "The one who wouldn't dance?"
"I don't know his name." came Ashley A's reply.
"Go ask." Kim insisted. Ashley A ran off the stage while holding up her bib-down overalls.
Kim thought to herself.
It's a good thing I didn't see the MC Honey-Britina video. My parents would freak if I wore them like that. And Ashley A needs to get herself a belt.
"If he's married, I think I'll die rather than marry anyone else." Kim said while the blush returned to her face.
Ashley A returned. This time, she managed to refasten the left overall strap, leaving the right one undone.
"His name is Romeo. He's a Montague." Ashley A replied, "He's the only son of your greatest enemy."
Kim turned to the audience, which consisted only of Amanda, Barkin, and a few of the Drama students, including the Glee Three, plus a scientist and one of the Golden Dancers awaiting her ride because she ended up in detention. Her name was Lisa.
She said. "The one man I love is the son of the one man I hate! I saw him before I knew who he was and learned it too late! What a monster love is to make me love my worst enemy."
Ashley A then asked, "What's this? What's this?"
"A rhyme I learned just now from somebody I danced with." Kim replied.
Gus called from off-stage, "Juliet!"
"On our way! Come on, let's go!" Ashley A insisted, "The strangers have all left!"
The two girls exited and mercifully ended the first act.

almost every time i rewatch fear street i keep thinking if camp nightwing was just like 5 min from shadyside
or
the expansion from 1978-1994 was CRAZY FAST to have a big ass mall, and the tunnel from the mall to the goode’s MANSION in ‘94, when just 16 years prior it lead from the camp dinning hall to a shack in the woods (far enough from the camp and sunnyvale that there’s was nothing around it, andcindy, alice, tommy and arnie had to walk a lot to get there)

『What's Eating Gilbert Grape』PART2~The best work of art! Life is filled with a few tears and a little laughter~
Tumblr media
12.What happened to the affair
Gilbert visits Betty's husband's office, fearing that he will be accused of cheating on her.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty's husband:
"Aren't you restless?"
"I understand that."
"I'd panic if I were you."
"I looked into you."
"You don't even have medical insurance."
"Disaster insurance and life insurance"
"Gilbert, are you prepared for anything?"
"What if an unexpected disaster occurs?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert was startled by the ringing of the phone.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty's husband:
"What will happen to your remaining family?"
"Have you ever thought about that?"
"You should think about your family more than yourself."
"Do you want them to get lost on the street?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert thought Betty's husband would blame him for cheating, but it turned out to be an insurance solicitation.
The call was from Betty.
Gilbert feared that Betty had revealed the affair out of anger.
Gilbert and Betty's husband head home.
Because Gilbert left her,she was so shocked that she couldn't turn off the oven, and the whole house was filled with smoke.
Betty's hysterical husband forces his reluctant child to eat a burnt cookie.
Gilbert tries to escape from this funny and jokey mess as quickly as possible, but starts the engine of his car, but it just doesn't start.
Then Betty approached.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty:
"I could have chosen any man."
"But I chose you."
Gilbert:
"Why me?"
Betty:
"That's because you wouldn't leave town."
ーーーーーーーーーー
For Gilbert, these words were painful.
It's like being told, "You will live your whole life in this town at the expense of your family.''
Betty's husband has a terrible temper and loses his temper easily.
It's interesting to find out why Betty cheats and why her children don't get attached to her husband.
That night, Betty's husband was so excited that he suffered a heart attack and unfortunately drowned in a plastic children's pool, even though it was shallow.
The area around the children's plastic pool was divided into squares with criminal crime scene no-trespassing tape.
This scene, which has a horror feel, childishness, and comicality, is the best.
Gilbert, Tucker, and another mortician friend, Bobby, talk about it at a cafe.
Bobby uses the spoon as Betty's husband, bends his knees and neck, dips his face in the ashtray, and explains the circumstances of his drowning.
It's like a horror comedy novel by Stephen King.
Tucker suspects that Betty may have killed him.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"I don't know. I think it's possible, but…"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert has no love for Betty.
13.Becky's Counseling
Gilbert, Arnie, and Becky were relaxing by the river.
Unfettered by conventional wisdom, Becky entered the river and seemed to find peace.
Arnie is doing his favorite tree climbing and dancing nearby.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie:
"I'm not there. I'm nowhere."
"Where's Arnie? "Say that."
Becky:
"Go into the river."
Arnie:
" 'Where’s Arnie?’ Say that."
Becky:
"Where's Arnie?"
Arnie:
"I'm not here!"
"Please say it one more time."
"Say that and look for me."
Becky:
"Let's swim together."
Gilbert:
"He can't. He's afraid of water and will never go in."
Arnie:
"I won't go into the water."
Becky:
"What about you?"
Gilbert:
"I don't like it."
Becky:
"Why?"
"Are you afraid of water too?"
"Do not fit?"
Arnie:
"He's afraid."
Gilbert:
"Is this what I should do?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert calmly dipped his feet into the river.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Flashy?"
Becky:
"More."
Gilbert:
"Is this it?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert strode furiously across the river and came close to Becky, splashing in the water.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"How about this? Are you satisfied?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
It takes courage to challenge something.
And only by taking action, you begin to feel the meaning of that action.
People tend to think that the act of jumping into a river is frivolous.
They think it's meaningless from the beginning.
If you think something is pointless or nonsense before doing it, it will lead to nihilism.
In the end, you come to the conclusion that "living has no meaning.''
However, it is only through action that changes can occur in your heart, such as having fun, feeling lighter, being moved, or feeling different emotions than usual.
Rather than coming up with a meaning first, people gradually "feel" the meaning in their actions and absorb the energy for living into their bodies.
I think that your own meaning is created after your actions.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Think of what you want."
"What do you want?"
"Quickly"
Gilbert:
"Something new. A new home for my family."
"And some aerobics for mom."
"My little sister becomes an adult"
"A new brain for Arnie"
"After that…"
Becky:
"For yourself?"
"What do you want?"
Gilbert:
"I want to be a good person."
"I’m not good at things like this."
ーーーーーーーーーー
I think Gilbert has lived his life believing that he should not have his own desires and hopes.
I think he has suppressed his desires somewhere deep in his unconscious mind.
14.Mother Bonnie goes outside
Gilbert was relaxing and having a nice time with Becky, and forgot about Arnie.
Arnie ends up climbing the water tower again.
Gilbert doesn't get there in time, and an aerial vehicle comes out and pulls Arnie down.
Gilbert pleads with the police, but they don't accept him, and Arnie is taken into custody.
His mother, Bonnie, doted on Arnie.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Mother Bonnie:
"Give me a jacket."
"Quickly!"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Bonnie's large body had made her the laughing stock of the town, and she was so worried about it that she didn't go out for many years.
Still, she musters up the courage for Arnie's sake and goes to take him back to the police station.
Bulimia also means that she's also suffering from depression.
The outside world must have been many times more frightening than for a normal person.
Bonnie was once the most beautiful woman in town.
Shout out to the Chief of Police.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Mother Bonnie:
"Jerry! Jerry!"
Bonnie:
"Jerry, give me back my son."
Chief Jerry:
"There is a procedure."
Mother Bonnie:
"No, give me back!"
"Give me back my son!"
"My son! Give me back!"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Apparently she knew the police chief, and with Bonnie's sword, Arnie was released.
Maybe it was a former lover.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Mother Bonnie:
"My sunshine! Good!"
"Don't go anywhere now. Okay?"
"It's okay, let's go home."
ーーーーーーーーーー
When Arnie was released and Bonnie left the police station, a crowd of onlookers had gathered around her as they heard Bonnie coming out of the house.
People pointing, old people taking pictures, children laughing.
Inside it,close to family, Gilbert, Amy, and Ellen are so proud as they walk proudly as if to protect their mother, it's a scene that will bring you to tears.
Bonnie, her mother, is depressed when she returns home after being ridiculed by the townspeople.
It was a family dinner where only Arnie's happy voice could be heard, making the family dinner all the more sad.
15.Farewell to Betty
After Betty's husband's funeral, Betty comes to say goodbye to Gilbert at the general store.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty:
"To St. Louis."
"That house is leaving."
Gilbert:
"I really don't care about your husband…"
Betty:
"Everyone said I killed him."
"You think so?"
Gilbert:
"No."
Betty:
"He was a good husband."
"It's sad, but not sad."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty's hands were shaking so much that she couldn't light a cigarette.
Gilbert lovingly lit the match.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty:
"Gilbert, what are you going to do?"
"Aren't you thinking?"
"Do you want to stay here and give up on yourself to take care of everyone else?"
"Sometimes I think, someday, my children will be like you."
"I'd be happy if they grew up like you."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Then Becky came into the store to do some shopping.
Betty kissed Gilbert on the cheek one last time.
Betty said to Becky.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty:
"I'll give in."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty left the store with a dignified air and a cigarette in her mouth.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Don't you forget her?"
Gilbert:
"Ah"
Becky:
"Good."
ーーーーーーーーーー
I think Becky wanted Gilbert to cherish his memories and not erase them.
16.Tectonic shifts in a small town
A hamburger chain called 'Burger Barn' has arrived in the rural town of Endora, Iowa.
It's a mobile store, and it comes in a trailer.
As if to knock on Gilbert's closed mind, campers and mobile stores begin to visit.
At the opening sale, they will give out hamburgers, shakes, etc. to everyone.
Tucker gets a job there and works as a clerk.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Moderator:
"Thank you everyone for coming."
"A new era for Endora begins."
"I hope that ‘Burger Barn' will reflect on everyone."
"Our chain wants long-term relationships with our customers."
"Even though it's said to be in a recession, this town accepted us and welcomed us."
ーーーーーーーーーー
It's a good performance that gives the feeling that even in this town where nothing has changed, changes are starting to appear little by little.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Fixed, trailer."
"We're leaving tomorrow."
Arnie:
"Come to my party tomorrow."
Becky:
"I'm invited."
Gilbert:
"Okay."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky said, fighting back tears.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Do you want to keep me back?"
Gilbert:
"No, if you want to go, go."
Becky:
"So, is this goodbye?"
Gilbert:
"I have to go."
"Be careful"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert feigns indifference and suppresses his feelings.
Arnie hugged Becky.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Goodbye, Arnie."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie, who hates taking baths ever since, runs away from Gilbert and runs around the room.
As older sister Amy was carrying the birthday cake, he bumped into her, causing the cake to fall to the floor and become a mess.
Amy cries that she will never make it again.
Gilbert makes up his mind and goes to a rival supermarket to buy a cake.
Unfortunately, Gilbert ran into the owner of the general store the moment he came out of the store, and things got awkward.
17.Sibling fight
Preparing for a birthday party with the whole family.
Their mother, Bonnie, refuses to go out in public.
Arnie appears with cream on his index finger and mouth.
Arnie ate the cake that he kept in the refrigerator.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Do you know how much I paid for that cake?"
"Take a bath."
"Go take a bath. Don't be silly and take off your clothes."
"Take off your clothes, come on!"
"Freeze"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie, who doesn't like it, is forced to take off his clothes.
Arnie pulled Gilbert's hair.
Gilbert becomes furious and punches Arnie over and over again.
Gilbert came to his senses and couldn't stay there anymore, so he drove to the outskirts of town in his emotional state.
Thinking about it now, the portrayal of Betty's husband's hysterical personality may have been a factor that caused Gilbert's repressed things to explode.
I think Gilbert needed to let out his pent-up emotions.
Arnie was so shocked when Gilbert hit him for the first time in his life that he ran away from home.
Sister Amy and sister Ellen drive to find Arnie.
Arnie came to Becky crying.
After calming down on the outskirts of town, Gilbert returns after sorting out his feelings.
Gilbert then stops by Becky's place.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"It's okay, don't be scared."
"Arnie, don't be scared."
Arnie:
"Let's sing a song"
Becky:
"See? You're okay, right?"
"That's great, you're not scary, are you?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie, who is afraid of water, jumps into the river with Becky's gentle guidance.
It must have been very painful for him to be hated by his beloved brother.
Arnie may have been desperate to have his brother stay by his side forever.
Gilbert, who was hiding behind a tree, smiled and felt relieved at the sight.
Arnie, who received strength from Becky, became completely healthy.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie:
"I drowned, right?"
Becky:
"Now it's clean."
ーーーーーーーーーー
There older sister Amy Came to pick me up.
Becky finds Gilbert hiding.
ーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"I hit him."
"Take him seriously…"
Becky:
"Don't worry about it."
Gilbert:
"I can't believe I hit him…"
"I have to go home."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky gently hugged Gilbert.
18.Love and hate for father
Gilbert wanted to get into the camper and leave town with Becky.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"I can't go."
"I have to earn money for mom's food."
Becky:
"Is it your fault?"
Gilbert:
"Mom was in shock for years."
"My father suddenly disappeared one day without saying goodbye.''
"He was hanging himself in the basement."
"Mommy then…"
"She used to be beautiful"
"She was very beautiful."
"Merrily"
Becky:
"So, it’s your father’s fault?"
Gilbert:
"No."
"What was Dad thinking?"
"He've never shown any emotion."
"He has never played with children, and he doesn't smile or look happy, he doesn't get angry, and he has no expression on his face."
"It looked like it was dead from the beginning."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky laughed and said,
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"I know someone like that."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert laughs back.
Gilbert knows that he looks just like his father, Albert.
Gilbert hated his father who left them to die.
But at the same time, I think he loves his father.
The reason is that when he was told that he and his father looked alike, he didn't strongly deny it.
The other reason is that he didn't want to leave that house because it was a keepsake of his father, and it was his father himself.
So I think Gilbert unconsciously imitates his father's way of speaking and facial expressions.
I think Gilbert missed his father just like his mother.
When Gilbert was asked if his father should be blamed, he said no, I think it was because he still loved his father.
And he could change the environment in any way he wanted depending on his way of thinking.
I think it's because he realized that.
I think it's because he realized that if he had been able to face himself more head-on, he could have made his family happier.
I think it's because when he realized his own weaknesses, he was able to love his father and mother's weaknesses.
When he sees something bad about himself in another person, he hates that person.
This is because we see in the other person what we suppressed due to self-hatred and inferiority complexes.
I think when Becky and the general store owner told him that he looked exactly like his father, he was able to calm down and look at himself objectively.
When people realize what kind of person they are, they begin to accept themselves and revive themselves.
When things that have been unconsciously suppressed become consciously manifested, people become even stronger.
Gilbert and Becky spend the night together.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Today is Arnie's birthday."
"I have to go home."
ーーーーーーーーーー
19.Birthday parties that bring people together
There are many colorful balloons set up in the garden, and the guests are having fun talking and playing around.
The guest of honor, Arnie, also wore a tie and had fun.
The general store owner and his wife ask her older sister Amy if her mother is doing well.
When Gilbert came home, his young sister Ellen said sarcastically:
ーーーーーーーーーー
Young sister Ellen:
"Amy, we have a guest."
Tucker:
"What's going on, are you okay?"
Bobby:
"Are you alive?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie spots Gilbert, hangs his head for a moment, and then disappears.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Amy, where's Arnie?"
"Amy, tell me."
"How's he going?"
Old sister Amy:
"Why don’t you ask him?"
Gilbert:
"Where?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Older sister Amy was also angry with Gilbert.
However, Arnie climbs into the tree and begins playing hide and seek without Gilbert knowing.
Amy saw this and realized that he had forgiven Gilbert.
Then she laughs at Gilbert and says,
ーーーーーーーーーー
Amy:
"Where?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert smiles when he realizes that Amy is acting.
Gilbert made a troubled expression and yells loud enough for Arnie to hear.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Amy, where's Arnie?"
Old sister Amy:
"Weren't you together?"
Gilbert:
"No."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie was very happy and frolicked in the tree.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Arnie!"
"Has anyone seen Arnie?"
"Did you see my brother?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie jumps down from the tree, surprising Gilbert.
After making eye contact, the two look away for a moment and remain silent.
Gilbert and Arnie hugged each other tightly.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Don't startle me."
"Don't startle me, understand?"
Arnie:
"I'm not surprised."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie pushed Gilbert down and lightly slapped him several times.
His sister Amy smiled nearby.
His young sister Ellen took pictures of them with her camera, and his mother Bonnie kept the curtains slightly open and watched them warmly.
Gilbert went to his mother Bonnie.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Mom"
Mother Bonnie:
"What?"
"Poor child."
"On top of that, you disappeared."
"Terrible child"
"A truly terrible child"
"I thought you left home?"
"And even you."
"But you came back."
"Why?"
"Why did you come back?"
Gilbert:
"I don't know."
ーーーーーーーーーー
In a space just the two of them, Gilbert snuggled up to his mother, Bonnie.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"But I'm back."
"I'm back."
Mother Bonnie:
"You're back to the party."
"Gilbert, I made you feel really bad."
"Have such a burdensome mother."
Gilbert:
"Stop it."
Mother Bonnie:
"It's true."
"You feel ashamed of your mother."
Gilbert:
"Mom…"
Mother Bonnie:
"I didn't mean for it to turn out like this."
"I don't intend to become a laughing stock."
Gilbert:
"No way…"
Mother Bonnie:
"That's not what I meant…"
Gilbert:
"You're no laughing stock."
Mother Bonnie:
"Gilbert, please don't just shut up and disappear."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Bonnie cried and hugged Gilbert tightly.
Becky brought a present to the party.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Listen, I want to match someone."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert was ashamed of his mother.
He accepted his fate, accepted both his hatred and love, and grew to the point where he could introduce his mother to Becky.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Okay."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky is as important to Gilbert as his family.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Mom"
"There's someone I'd like to introduce…"
Mother Bonnie:
"I don't want to see anybody."
Gilbert:
"Please."
"For me"
Becky:
"Okay, next time."
Gilbert:
"I want to meet you."
"For me"
"She doesn't laugh."
"I'll never hurt Mommy again."
"Please…"
Mother Bonnie:
"Okay."
Gilbert:
"Becky"
"It's Becky."
Mother Bonnie:
"I've never been like this…"
Becky:
"I didn't used to be like this too."
ーーーーーーーーーー
The two both smiled.
20.Each farewell
It's time to say goodbye to Becky.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"It was fun."
Gilbert:
"I know."
"What should I say?"
Arnie:
"Say 'thank you.'"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert and Becky wiped their tears and laughed at Arnie's words.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Thank you."
Arnie:
"Goodbye"
Becky:
"It's not 'goodbye'."
Arnie:
"Okay, good night."
"I'm not ready for bed yet."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky left in a light-filled camping trailer.
Bonnie musters up the courage to meet Becky for her son's sake.
Then she scrambled up the stairs to her second-floor bedroom.
I think she wanted to change for the sake of her family.
Mother Bonnie said to Gilbert.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Bonnie:
"You're a prince in shining armor."
"You are shining"
"It's shining brightly"
Gilbert:
"Rest and sleep."
ーーーーーーーーーー
After a while, Arnie went to his mother's bedroom.
However, her mother died quietly.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie:
"Mom"
"Mom! Mom! Wake up!"
"Are you hiding?"
"I know."
"Open your eyes!"
"Mom! Wake up!"
"Mommy, stop!"
"Mommy, stop!"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Realizing that she was dead, Arnie came down from the second floor crying, hit himself on the head, and ran wild in the garden.
The camera in that scene is filming Arnie gently from a distance.
This is a very thoughtful and gentle performance.
I can understand that the Director wants us to empathize with Arnie.
It is a sad yet beautiful scene surrounded by the setting sun.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Maybe we need a crane."
Sister Ellen:
"People will gather."
"There were a lot of onlookers…"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert went into the basement, which he had never entered, and knocked down the pillars with all his strength.
I think Gilbert showed his emotions for the first time and cursed fate.
Gilbert poured out all the resentment he had suppressed against his father for his mother's sake on this house that his father had built.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Old sister Amy:
"She looks nice."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Amy smiled at her young sister Ellen.
21.Freedom and a new world
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"I won't make fun of her."
"I won't let her be laughed at."
"Arnie, you can help too."
ーーーーーーーーーー
The Grape family then decides to burn down their house along with their mother.
The entire family moved out the belongings, and Gilbert lit the match with family pride.
The family stood in the garden watching the house burn out.
It was the moment when they were released from the ghost that had consumed family.
They are now free.
Gilbert said to Arnie.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"From now on, you can go anywhere."
ーーーーーーーーーー
The following year, the two were waiting for the camping trailer to arrive, just like in the opening scene.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie:
"Gilbert, that?"
Gilbert:
"Not yet. Wait a little longer."
Arnie:
"When is she coming?"
Gilbert:
"She'll be right there, just wait a little longer."
Arnie:
"Gilbert, look."
In Gilbert's mind:
"Arnie is turning 19."
"19 years old."
"Older sister Amy is the manager of the town's bakery."
"Young sister Eren also transferred schools together."
"Arnie said, 'Where are we going?' ."
"I said, 'Anywhere.'"
Arnie:
"Becky!"
"Becky is coming."
Gilbert:
"Yes, we'll see her soon."
Arnie:
"Becky!"
"Gilbert, let's go get her!"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky sticks her head out the window and waves with a nostalgic smile.
Becky's hair was a little longer.
Gilbert and Arnie then pile into Becky's camping trailer and set off on their journey.
22.Conclusion
This work is a story of the growth of second son Gilbert's mind.
I liked how the two houses contrasted well.
One is a well-built camping trailer that is free and sparkling.
The other is an old house with a rusty roof and decaying wooden pillars that looks like it's going to collapse at any moment, making it look like a dark cave.
It can be read as both the future and the past.
It seems like hope and reality.
It can be associated with many things, such as movement and stillness, light and heavy, flow and stagnation.
Gilbert looked at his house from a distance and said,
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"I was surprised at how small it looks from far away."
ーーーーーーーーーー
It must have been a huge responsibility that Gilbert had been carrying since he was little.
When he suddenly relaxed, he realized that it was a small house.
The second son should feed his mother.
Shouldn't make his mother any more sad.
Shouldn't let his mother be a laughing stock.
Should raise his little sister into a fine adult.
Shouldn't put a burden on his sister either.
Should take care of his younger brother for the rest of his life.
Shouldn't let his young brother cause trouble to the people around him.
All these responsibilities still rested on the back of a young man, Gilbert.
What's great is that the people around him sense Gilbert's personality and are kind to help him.
Perhaps some people are trying to repay Gilbert's father Albert.
Looking back, none of the characters were evil.
It was a heartwarming and beautiful piece of work.
This is a movie that will make you laugh while crying.
The various props have meaning and play a role as a visual language.

What do you associate with it?
I think movies are a mirror that reflects yourself.
Even when looking at something, different people perceive it differently.
I think movies have a healing effect that is unique to you.
When I see apple pie, I think of my mother. (in my heart)
When I see a fishing rod, I think of my father.
When I see a blue mechanical pencil, I think of my lover.
Looking at the railroad tracks reminds me of a 2nd grade elementary school student.
I think these items can be woven into one story and take you on a journey into the past.
You can relive past joys, sadness, loneliness, jealousy, envy, comfort, etc.
You can then look at yourself from a bird's-eye perspective, compare yourself with your current self, and make good plans for the future.
You may also laugh at how small your current troubles are.
You can empathize not only with yourself, but with the feelings of your parents who are older than you, and the feelings of your friends and partners who are of a different gender.
You may be able to gradually sort out your feelings and come to a better conclusion.
This time, in particular, the role of such a movie is fully expressed.
I would appreciate it if you could watch it if you like.
It's a film about DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, and Juliette Lewis, who later became big stars, in their youth, so it's well worth watching just for them.
See you next time.
Good bye.

Bryan shrugged. "I don't really give a shit was Cindy Berman says, I'm not scrubbing toilets." that was, and always would be a Shadysider task, not a Sunnyvaler task. No, Bryan had already completed his task for today which had been meal prep, and all he had to do later is put the food on the heat and get everyone fed. He wasn't going near those toilets. "Bsides, didn't see allocate that shit to Alice and Arnie?"

Hiii, it's ☕ again! Before I ask a new question about your OCs, I want to say something for the previous one. First, thank you for the all comprehensive answers, it's very fun and nice to read and learn about them.
And secondly, I. Need. A. Movie. Date. With. Hector. LOL. I'm literally falling in love with him, Sol, helppp😂 we'd simply get lost in Troy and The Godfather's universe with him I'd totally be okay with that 💕 can't help it, Hector is becoming my fav character.. he officially has another winning here 👋🏻🤭
Umm, after all these, I guess I can drop a little question: Can you name something/s that your OCs afraid of? Does they have fears? If so, what makes them scare the most?
Hii ☕️anon!
Thank you for the questions, they are very fun to think about!
Haha I'm flattered Hector's getting another fan! He was not the character I would have guessed it for, but I love him so I love that you love him. 🥰
I have a list of more abstract list for the OCs here, so I was thinking about more specific fears/sort of phobias for this one.
Isaiah: Afraid? (More like a very strong aversion) of hospitals and doctors, but mostly in relation to himself and because he doesn't trust them. Way too much authority and require way too much obedience for people who let his mother die needlessly by neglecting her care. He is also very afraid he would be diagnosed with something serious so he would rather not get any tests.
Seline: definitely bees and wasps and everything that looks like them. She is the sort to run screaming when a wasp sits on her window. She also gets sort of paranoid during the night that someone will follow or hurt her in public spaces.
Matthew: he is afraid of people staring. He can do a lot of tough guy shit, but please don't stare at him, that's paralysing. He hates it the same way Hector loves it. Also he doesn't like hights or deep water places - both make him feel like there is nowhere to escape.
Hector: confined crowded spaces. Subways, planes, trains, crowded squares...he hates it. It's something most wolves would agree with, it's almost a physical repulsion.
Arnie: He is kind of getting a fear of cars and high speed. Highways are horrible, too much risk for an accident (this one I totally blame on you anons, lol, you gave it to him😜) But he was also taught from early age he would make a useful hostage, so he is also afraid of cars driving too close to him on the street in case they want to snatch him.
Dylan: he doesn't like open wounds and too much blood, needles...that's just gross and he gets repulsed by it quickly, okay? He is also not very good with vomiting, with others and with himself, he is super scared of it, bad experiences (sort of emetophobia?)
Rip: He is pretty afraid of police officers and any kind of officials. Wolf executioners aren't his favorite either, he got hunted by them pretty often as he crossed different cities.

v;; fear street 1994 - alice watson
alice watson is believed to be one of the many casualties of the events of camp nightwing. ziggy & cindy berman saw it with their own eyes and the shock of everything that happened was so much ziggy didn't question when they didn't find alice's body. she was presumed dead with no body left.
in reality alice was in shock seeing everything that had happened realizing her brother and arnie were dead she couldn't cope. she left in the woods unseen by anyone. she hitchhiked her way out of the state before finally being checked out by a medical professional. she lied about her name getting a new job and thinking if she just started a new life she could forget everything she had witnessed.
finally one anniversary she felt too guilty deciding to go back. she found out when she got back that nothing was the same the camp was torn down and families destroyed. her mother had taken her life thinking she had lost both her children that day. alice felt an awful sense of guilt she only stayed long enough to give ziggy contact information before leaving again. she tried again to forget this life and everything they had lost until ziggy called her to tell her it was happening again. now she has to face all her fears and guilt head on and end the curse on shadyside forever.
