Who Dreamed That Beauty Passed Like a Dream? (Arches Natioanl Park) by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: A portion on a poem I came across from Robert Frost...and with anyone who's seen the Delicate Arch, you've seen and taken in an amazing view, no doubt! As I looked across the morning landscape of this part of Arches National Park, I could see what appeared to be a large dynamic range. Nearby where areas caught in shadows while off in the distance, the sun shined brightly down on far off mesas, canyon walls and mountains. While I did try a few other techniques such as an in-camera HDR and working on exposures in manual mode, I found this HDR image best captured the hues and colors I'd seen that morning. To meter this image, I decided on a using a bracketed set of five TIFF images and then importing them into Aurora HDR Pro where I could work and then export for final processing in Capture NX2.
