#Apollo justice ace attorney

One of my favorite twists in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, even if it's generally disliked, is that the court loses a bunch of time because a foreign witness keeps calling a ceiling hatch a window. Since the room also had a normal window and she doesn't know a different word for it, nobody notices they're not talking about the same thing.

I actually really like the thing when you're starting to get the hang of a new language, enough to understand and say simple sentences but you gotta get creative to get more complex thoughts across, like a puzzle. I remember a time in the restortation school when a classmate who wasn't natively finnish and did her best anyway dropped something and sighed, telling me "every day is monday this week. I have had four mondays this week." And I understood.

I don't think I speak much of spanish anymore, but in the nursing school training period I did there, I did manage to get by with making weird Tarzan sentences. I got a nosebleed at some point and startled another nurse. Not knowing the words "humidity" or "stress", I managed to string together: "This is ok. It is hot, it is cold, I have a bad day, I am sad, I have blood. This is normal for me." And she understood.

And sometimes you just say things weird, but it's better than not saying it. One time, I was stuck in a narrow hallway behind someone walking really slowly with a walker, and he apologised for being in the way. I was not in any hurry, but didn't know the spanish word for "hurry", but I did know enough words to try to circumvent it by borrowing the english "I have all the time in the world."

The man burst into one of those cackling old man laughters that they do when something in this world still manages to surprise them. He had to be somewhere between 70 and a 100 years old, and I guess if there was one thing he wasn't expecting to hear today, it would be a random blond vaguely baltic-looking fuck casually announce that he is the sole owner and keeper of the very concept of time.

I hold very dearly the idea that Phoenix just kind of adopted Apollo as his own kid among with Trucy posed by the Anthology, but I find weak that their (mainly one sided) found family relationship is the only real "justification" as to why Apollo suddenly holds Phoenix in such a pedestal in DD when he was clearly annoyed by him at best during AJ

Love the idea that people are still shipping Klavier and Daryan after 4-3. Like Daryan is in jail for MURDER but the “Klavyan truthers” or whatever are convinced Apollo somehow manipulated the evidence to get the wrong guy convicted so he could have Klavier all to himself.

I see everyone talk about the silly Klapollo/Gavinners interactions but what about the angsty ones, where because Apollo is dating Klavier (a celebrity) he's constantly under the same microscope Klavier’s under by Gavinners fans?

What about the interactions where someone on whatever Ace Attorney's version of Twitter is says something like "I don't get why Klavier would date the most average defense attorney ever, he could have literally anyone"?

What about Klavier, Phoenix, and/or Trucy having to restrict Apollo's access to social media because some of the shit Gavinners fans say about his relationship with Klavier get to him so bad?

I personally think it'd be "Klavier could have literally anyone he wanted" comments that would get to Apollo the most. Klavier could have anyone he wanted, and he chose Apollo, and seeing people bring it up as a "Klavier Gavin deserves better" type argument would kill Apollo. The only thing preventing him from a full-on breakdown is how defensive Klavier gets of him.

Like obviously there are Klapollo shippers in the Gavinners fandom, and I don't think either of them mind that. But statistically speaking, with how popular the Gavinners are, there are, almost guaranteed, people who would hate it if Klavier and Apollo started dating, whether because they think Klavier could do better or because they ship Klavier and Daryan or something.
