I think it says something about me and my love for this couple and show, when I am rewatching 5x12 and I realize that I know, word for word, FitzSimmons' wedding vows

I 100% forgot how amazing 5x12 is (AKA the 100th episode)!!

Like we got

Coulson being a dad to Daisy and telling her that she is the next leader of shield

Team freaking out when someone has to sacrifice themselves and then being angry at Coulson

High Key emotions when team finds out Coulson is dying (seriously everyone’s acting was phenomenal)

Another heart felt Daisy and Coulson moment

Daisy’s speech about how he gave her everything and there’s nothing without him

Coulson’s “you’ve always been capable of more than you imagined”

the HUG (seriously try watching that scene without crying)

Philinda!

May’s “it’s more than a team and you know it”

May and Coulson both trying to look out for Daisy who wanted to be a sacrificial lamb and her parents weren’t having it

Mackelena moment

Coulson being a dad to Fitz: sending Deke for wedding supplies, telling Fitz to find happiness even if he dies, and fixing Fitz’s collar before the wedding

FITZSIMMONS WEDDING 

Like seriously, this was a brilliant episode with incredible acting. Kudos to the writers for giving us such an amazing 100th episode!

hi so i just finished 5x12 of agents of shield and

---SPOILER ALERT---

i’ve been crying for like two hours over fitzsimmons getting married

There is so much to unpack in the scene where the team finds out Coulson is dying.

Of course May figured it out first because she was closest to Coulson when he made the deal with Ghost Rider; she finally realizes why they took the step back.

Mack asks all the questions the rest of them can’t get out; a little foreshadowing to the fact that he is fit to be Director.

Fitz; still in denial and trying to figure out how dangerous it is.

Jemma; looking exhausted (and honestly they better have gotten a full medical team in Season 6 cause playing Doctor was never in Jemma’s original job description.)

And Daisy.

Daisy is not an agent, or a superhero at the moment. She isn’t Quake, or the Destroyer of Worlds at that moment. She is just a scared girl who just realized her only true father figure is on a countdown and can’t process any of that.

Of course it’s Melinda who talks last, but seeing her also on the brink of tears hurts too much. And I think at the end, when she tells Coulson he made a mistake, it hurts him to have his field partner, his best friend, the woman he loves, not be on his side for once.

Today was a shitty day and this scene triggered a good cry.
