well trying to find hellsing community has oddly failed once more. as a result i have the deadly need to write grounded, humans-are-the-threat hellsing prequel fanfic with Daniel Silva vibes and leaning into the 2000s emphasis on hellsing as an actual operative with social repercussions for existing.

gotta say im still a bit surprised [positive] at how much attention Zafira initially [and still] received. Not to 'Make It Deep' but its kinda a well known fact in fandom that male chars will get more positive attention in comparison to female chars. I kinda accepted it at a point, but then the conversation of appreciating the attractiveness of viasible aging (how gray hair, wrinkles, age spots are sexy) started up and most posts where very pointed at men. Not saying ones pointed at women wasn't/isn't out there, but it was rare to see. So when I made a visibly older woman who also has a more monster look, I didn't expect much attention. This didn't affect my motivation to draw her and do more with her at the time. But it did mean the attention she got took me by surprise, and I gotta say it still does. Very much appreciate all y'all that still leave thirst comments on my art of her, along with just enjoying the small bits of lore and story I've shared of her on here <3
