You had just arrived back at the LA house. Holding food bags from McDonalds. You went over to Matt’s room and dropped his food off. Realising the boys were on stream, but Chris was in his room.

You headed down to the bottom floor, Chris’ room. You knock on the door then open it.

Chris looks over and smiles “hey chat, my meal is here.” He smirks and made sure to hide his actual food from the camera. As you walks over and sat in the spare chair. Chat blew up.

‘OMG HEY Y/N!!’ ‘EW CHRIS U JUST CALL HER UR MEAL LOL’ ‘CHRIS NO AHAH 😂’ ‘y/n is not his food guys she went to McDonalds 😭’ ‘omg Y/n on stream with the boys’ ‘cuties!!!’

You smiled at the camera “hey guys, imma hop on stream with Chris and Matt.” Chris smiled and placed his meal out on the desk “chat should Y/n take over while I eat??” Matt joked “yeah, she better anyways.” Chris playfully gasped “absolutely not!!” You laughed. Taking the controller from Chris. You started to play Fortnite with Matt.

As you played, Chris watched and read chat as he ate. He’d giggle at some comments. He asked “hey chat?? Should I feed Y/n/n a nuggie??” You laughed. Chat obviously agreed. You joked “the fucking edits are gonna go wild…” he laughed “perfect!”

He held a nugget to your lips, you took a bite. Then he fed you the other half. You thanked him then handed over the controller as he was done eating.

You talked with everyone who was watching the stream as they played. Chris glanced over and chuckled “chats asking ass or tits…” Matt replied “personality, then heart..” Chris smirked “exactly…” you pulled a ‘ok, did he just agree to that’

Then Chris added “then ass.” You gasped “I was fucking waiting for that!!” You added “I was like ‘damn he really just agreed with Matt without saying that’s then you said it I was like ‘there it is’” you all laugh.

While Matt was doing something, you and Chris sat in his room waiting for Matt’s return.

Chris was eating a pack of sour patch kids. You stuck your index finger and thumb out. You give him the puppy dog eyes “can I have you?” He grinned “magic word??” “Please??” “It’s abracadabra!” He laughed hard. You laughed at him, thinking ‘how the fuck was it that funny??’ He held the pack out to you “here babe, since you sooo kindly said ‘please’ I guess I’ll let you have some.” You smiled “thank youuu”

You looked to the camera “see chat, this is what I gotta stick up with.” That earned a loud gasp from Chris “you did not!” He put his sour patch kids down and started play fighting with you.

Matt returned to his room, sitting back in his chair. “You guys ready for another round on here? Or we playin’ dress to impress???” No answer… “Chris? Y/n? Chat, what’re they doing??” He leaned closer to his screen and read chat. Spamming.

‘They’re play fighting again!!’

Matt chuckles, you get back into your seat again “Matt come get your fuggly ass brother” Chris playfully but definitely gently punched your arm. You punched his back “ow bitch! That hurt!” You giggled. “Yeah, yeah, laugh it up!” “Wa, wa, babe, too bad so sad.” Chris demanded “kiss it better!!” You laughed. Giving his shoulder a kiss.

After a while, you were now sat on his lap as you watched him and Matt play dress to impress. “No Chris get the mini skirt!!” “I’m getting there!!” You clapped when he put it on the avatar “fucking slay, hoe!” He smiled. You said “chat, rate fit outta ten!” Everyone spamming nines and tens.

As the ratings started, Chris wrapped his arms around your waist. Placing a few small kisses to your cheek and jaw. He smiled “foot outfit choice, baby” you smiled “what can I say, I’m just too good.” Matt and Chris laughed.

You lean back into Chris, resting your head on his shoulder. Staying like that for the rest of the stream. In between all the play fighting and grabbing snacks. He also gave you the occasional kisses and pecks. You were the official ‘chat reader’ as Chris put it. Reading out chat and talking to the viewers. Everyone loved you on stream with the guys while they played games all night.

HI!! i’m doing great, sorry for the late reply i am on vacation! kinda inspired by jim and pam’s valentine’s day fight from the office (if you’ve seen it) it’s not so much an argument because i’m bad at dialogue but it’s a little couples spat. hope you enjoy anyways! ☺

it had been tense since jeno woke up that morning. it was valentines day and you wanted to make it special for him since the last one he had been on tour. you woke up early to make him his favorite breakfast, taking the time to cut out little hearts from all of the fruits. but of course your exhausted boyfriend had slept through breakfast, having had practice till late the night before. he had taken off from practice today to "spend time with you" but he had only been spending time with his bed. you cleaned up breakfast deciding that it wasn’t that big of a deal, you had the rest of the day planned anyways. when jeno had finally woken up you were getting ready to go on a bike ride with him, your go to date activity, but you were met with a groggy smile telling you, “not today baby hm? just a little tired, but i made us dinner plans at 7 today okay?” so you complied taking off your biking gear and heading to the living room to watch some tv. jeno came out lazily and laid on the couch next to you resting his head on your thighs. as 6 rolled around you decided to get ready for dinner looking through your closet for your new dress. you heard rustling in the bathroom assuming jeno was also getting ready. by 6:45 you were finished, stepping out of your room to show jeno your outfit. as you stepped out you were met with a very laid back boyfriend, wearing jogging pants and a hoodie, he looked up at you eyes widening when he saw your appearance, “shit baby is it 7 already? i totally blanked on dinner, i can get ready real quick and tell them we hit some traffic so they don’t charge us for being late.” he stood up quickly going to your shared room to get dressed, you stopped him. “forget it jen, i’m not even hungry, let’s stay home and do nothing like we’ve been doing all day” jeno stared at you, confused by your sudden attitude, “what do you mean ‘do nothing,’ i took the day off to be with you?” you let out a deep breath, “you didn’t take a day off to be with me you took a day off to catch up on your sleep jeno, don’t act like today’s been ALL about me” he tilted his head to the side staring at you bewildered, “is this about the biking? baby we bike every chance we get, we’ll do it next time i have free.” you pushed past him leaning on the couch for support as you took your heels off, “yes jeno, this is about the biking and breakfast and this stupid dinner that you planned and forgot about, i tried to make everything special for us today and you just slept through it all, i look like an idiot running around planning stuff for my boyfriend who doesn’t even care” he walked towards you grabbing your chin, “you think i don’t care? you think getting a last minute spot at your favorite restaurant is easy? you think being away from you everyday is easy?” your eyes began to water as he let go of your chin walking towards the door “i’m sorry for being tired today, it’s my first day off in months, you think i didn’t want today to be special too? i’m sorry okay? i feel like shit cause i ruined your valentine’s day.” you heard jeno's voice crack as he spoke, back turned towards you, “i just, i can’t keep going back and forth, not today, if we’re gonna keep fighting then i’ll just meet the guys at practice, tell them our plans got cancelled,” he slipped some shoes on, grabbing his coat to leave, you stopped him, hand grasping his shirt. “don’t leave please, stay, stay with me and fight, we’ll yell all night if we have to.” he stopped and turned to face you, “you really wanna fight on valentine’s day?” you gave him a soft smile, “yes, stay with me and fight, just, don’t go.” jeno wasn’t gonna leave, not even if you begged him.

Hi there! So regarding Mardi Gras, how accurate do you think their costumes were? I saw the references for Lestat's look (I'm new here and still finding information about the show and production) and they had men and women as inspiration because they had to express his masculine and feminine energy and all that... Do you think the costumes (including Louis's and Claudia's) were more realistic and in line with the event in real life or more creative liberties they took? Not sure if that made sense, I hope it dles lol, I'm terrible at wording my thoughts and English isn't my first language. :p Anyway, thanks in advance. ☺

the Mardi Gras costumes were fascinating. I would say that Lestat’s King Raj costume on the float was fascinating because it mixed elements of traditional King costumes with Queen elementals.

It’s really cool! Lestat is wearing fur that typically male members of a carnival Krewe, (which are also social clubs). He’s also wearing a queen’s ‘mantle’ and even a tiara is some shots!

So it’s meant to invoke Mardi Gras royalty with traditional aesthetics of the period, but adapted to a fantasy setting. However, an outfit like this with a male corset and feminine details would not really be seen in real life. Kings and Queens have worn basically the same style since they were invented. There are even museums devoted to past costumes! So what you see above was pretty standard. Mardi Gras as a society event can be pretty stuffy, classist and traditional, and segregated.

I've been tapping into my creative side more lately and even experimented with clay for the first time! I typically alternate between writing and sewing, sometimes I doodle. When it comes to clothes and just overall aesthetic - think thrifting, knick knacks, flowly/light fabrics, and things like that. I'm tempted to call it romantic but idk about that lol. Author’s Note: Hello friend! I’m so sorry this took SO LONG to complete, I know it’s been months since you requested, so I appreciate your patience on this! I hope you enjoy this little drabble!

Nanami wasn’t always reserved and rigid. Growing up and joining the workforce unfortunately led him to this mundane lifestyle, often following the same routines day-by-day, with little-to-no color in his life. He often reminisces about his high school days, when he used to sneak off from class to listen to punk rock music with his best friend Yu Haibara, who always used to radiate bright energy, enough to warm even Nanami. When his friend passed away, it seemed that the void he left would never be filled again.

That is, until he meets you. 

You are vastly different from Nanami, but that’s what he loves so much about you. Where he lacks in creativity, you do more to cover the both of you. Most of your décor and accessories are homemade, crafted from your very own hands. The pieces displayed on the walls of your shared apartment are all original artworks. Watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, pen and ink. You like to experience with different medias, creating a variety of scenes, depending on an image that captivates you that day. Flowers you see on your daily walks to the park, a golden sunset you watch together on the beach, Nanami sitting on the couch resting his eyes after a long week at work. It’s simple in the grand scheme of things, but when it’s captured forever on canvas or paper, it becomes something special. 

It takes a while for Nanami to get used to being the main focus in your artwork. He’s never liked standing out. When you show him one of your first sketches of him just standing in the kitchen, he’s surprised. Not only at your talent, but at how accurately you were able to portray his personality with a couple strokes of your pencil. That’s when he knows he should appreciate this for all that it’s worth.

His outfits soon become accessorized by your crafts. A knitted red scarf he uses when it’s cold out, with a beanie to match. Sewn mittens for his hands, keeping him warm throughout the train ride to work. He even replaces his briefcase with the bag you crochet for him, insisting that it’s perfect for all his belongings, even if there are a few places on it where his papers stick out. He gets used to the little trinkets and figurines you collect from various flea markets or thrift shops. Half the closet is his muted natural colors while yours is a rainbow that brings him joy every morning he has to get dressed for work. 

Nanami absolutely loves how much of you bleeds into him, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. His daily routine now sparks with something special, all thanks to you.

it takes four cigarettes, two full cups of tea, and a shot of vodka for his nerves to settle — not entirely, but enough for him to breathe properly. it’s frenetic, an incessant buzzing underneath his skin — pricking him sporadically, the energy that builds forces a momentum to power through him, which is the cause of his pacing. the sunny isn’t nearly long enough, nor expansive enough for sanji to rid himself of this excessive amount of energy.

nerves, he tells himself bitterly, just nerves. nothing serious.

a fifth cigarette truly drives his point home, the smoke clinging to his shirt, convincing him otherwise.

he’s not sure what brought about the anxiety; maybe it’s because he’s not entirely convinced that you agreed to go out with him genuinely — surely it’s primarily because of your charitable personality, where you take pity on the less fortunate. a frown settles on his lips, a sliver of smoke easing its way out of his parted lips, that familiar ache in his chest has his thoughts spiraling for the duration of the morning.

no matter how many times you seek him out, he’s always busy, always in the middle of conversation — almost as if he’s choosing to deliberately avoid you. it’s a bit disheartening, but you try to rationalize and shoo away those pesky feelings of doubt. you’re sure you’re overthinking it, and he’s sure he’s not thinking enough about everything.

with the ship sitting quietly near an abandoned shore, your crew mates gather supplies to build a bonfire. you tell nami, robin, and brook beforehand that you’re stealing sanji away for the day — luffy and zoro overhear, with the former complaining because who will cook our pirate lunches now? and the latter snickering to himself about how the idiot cook’s absence will make the bonfire better.

you ignore them both, prepare for your outing. brook helps with your hair, robin with your makeup, and nami with your outfit. while you could’ve done it yourself, you’re much too nervous to keep your hands steady. the trio teases you about it, brook in particular laughing too loud which prompts nami to kick him out immediately. the mirror reveals a much more delicate version of yourself, one that has your cheeks flushing — although, you’ll convince yourself later it’s just the blush that robin applied earlier — and makes you reconsider the entire thing.

“no, no,” nami says firmly, grabbing your arm and half-dragging you out of your room. “it’s about damn time you two sort this out, so go. shoo!” robin laughs softly in the background, wishes you all the luck — even ominously mentioning to keep your wits about you.

just in case, she adds afterwards.

not wanting to dwell on her foreboding tone, you walk quickly off of the ship to meet sanji.

in a fresh set of clothes, hair coiffed to his liking, sanji reminds himself to breathe. it won’t do if he can’t even manage to get through this outing, especially since nami already assured him that no one would bother them for the rest of the afternoon. he wonders if she secretly has a vested interest in wanting him to succeed — but, really, it’s that she thinks you two are a good match. very rarely do unions come together so nicely, and since the rest of your crew mates can be immature, she threatened them all to keep quiet or else.

you appreciate her dedication, even laugh to yourself when you see luffy struggle to keep his comments and questions to himself. already all of your doubt melts away, clearing your head, allowing you the capacity to fully soak up the sight of sanji. it’s actually painfully obvious how much you like him — well, except to him — and now that he’s asked you out, you’re nervous that he’ll find that he really doesn’t want to spend time with you.

but, robin assured you one night, that yours was not a one-sided tragic love affair, but one that has the potential to end in happiness. you laughed at her words, although her expression was resolute, almost as if she truly believed that. you avoided her for a few days after that, not liking the way her words stamp onto your skin — like ink, permeating deeply, infiltrating your thoughts, controlling your actions — and make it difficult to talk to him.

during that time, he assumed he did something to upset you, and worked tirelessly to make it up to you. the guilt sits on your chest when you stand in front of him, his smile — a dazzling, dizzying affair — greets you. a warmth you desperately try to ignore, that incinerates the residual resilience you built towards him over the years, exponentially grows in strength when he offers his arm for you to take. your eyes drift lower and you grab his hand instead, lacing your fingers together and gently tugging so he can walk with you.

“c’mon,” you insist, trying to ignore the way your cheeks continue to betray you, the flush barely noticeable until you turn your face. you can feel the curious gazes of your nosy crew mates on your back and you ignore them, ignore the way sanji is looking at you, perplexed — as if he can’t quite figure you out — and insist that he walks now.

“what’s the rush?” he says after you walk with him for a bit, “we have all afternoon.” not that it matters much to him, he’s just really happy you’re indulging his selfishness. and if you knew that that’s what he was calling it — you’d convince him otherwise. it’s not selfish to want to spend time with someone you care for, especially when you’ve known them for a while.

the town is relatively quiet when you head to the shopping plaza; he scoped out the area earlier, found various places for you to visit — ones he was sure you’d like — and eventually his nerves settle down at last. you’re in the middle of lunch at a café, quietly sipping on your drink, when he admits that he didn’t know why you agreed to come out with him.

“don’t get me wrong, i’ve always wanted to spend more time with you,” he continues, fingers drumming along the table — a nervous habit, you note and look at him carefully. there are more things he wants to say, but can’t; it’s not the right time, nor is it the right place, but you interject anyway.

“sanji,” say slowly, hands moving to smooth down the nonexistent wrinkles on your skirt. if you don’t tell him now, you’ll always find a reason not to in the future. so, you just blurt it all out. “i like you, that’s why.”

silence hangs between you and you fear you’ve said the wrong thing; did you misinterpret things? was robin wrong? your skin pales as your mind pummels you with possibilities and unease sidles along the bottom of your stomach. but when you look up at him again, you realize his silence isn’t out of any inherent disgust or discomfort, but because he’s still processing what you said.

splotches of pink take permanent residence on his face, neck, and ears. your brows raise slightly and you find yourself laughing softly — at your own stupidity to see the truth for what it was. you reach a hand out and grab his again, thumb caressing his skin with slow swipes. somehow, all of that calms him down, and he’s able to look at you properly.

“right,” he clears his throat, but elation takes over and he can’t think straight, “i like you too.” which is a given, but since you said it, the natural course of action is for him to say it too. you know that when you get back to the ship, there will be so many questions, but you’ll cross that bridge later. for now, you’ll enjoy the remainder of the afternoon without any interference from the others, and make the sort of memories that you’ll add to your arsenal of mini-lullabies to keep you comfy late at night.

luchino is a big fan of outdoorsy activities!

as much as he likes the tranquility and dim lights of his laboratory, he still enjoys the fresh air and the hot weather outside

regularly sunbathes during the summer, but he does it far away from the manor - he would be deathly embarrassed if someone saw him

one time you stumbled upon him sunbathing, laying stomach down on a log and sleeping in the sun

...needless to say he was very embarrassed and shy when he woke up and saw you staring even though you just found it absolutely adorable😭

after his transformation, his clothes tore and it's literal hell trying to find fitting shirts and pants which often makes him feel insecure

and here's when violetta comes to the rescue >:)) !! she made him big, oversized hawaiian shirts out of old summer printed tablecloths for the warm weather and he loves them so much

knows a lot of nice lakes where you two can go for a swim when the heat gets unbearable

he's incredibly good at swimming! it seems weird considering he's a lizard after all, but he was a good swimmer as a human and his lizard abilities just improve his skills a bit more

likes diving and finding various shells, stones and other trinkets at the bottom of the lakes or the sea and brings them to you

if you mention to him that you feel too insecure to wear shorts, swimming suits/pants/two-pieces etc. he's going to do his best to reassure you - he doesn't understand how can you be so harsh on yourself and wants you to feel as pretty as he sees you💕

otherwise loves seeing you wearing summer clothes! always compliments your outfits and tells you how cute you look

big fan of exploring outside - whether it's for research or out of curiosity, it's always two times as fun when he's exploring with you

when you two get tired from all that walking and swimming he suggests curling up near a tree or something

it's a very funny scenario - he prefers the sunlight over anything while you love being in the shade, so he usually sits in the sun and his huge frame gives you enough shade to comfortably lay down between his legs without the sun roasting you

sometimes he just gets tired of the sun so he agrees to lay in the shade with you and read,,

loves when he lays his head in your lap while reading and you scratch his head or gently stroke the side of his face <33 (also he has a pair of reading glasses and it's so fucking funny since they look so small and weird on him)

he also managed to snatch some ice cream/shaved ice from the hunter's side of the manor (bonbon has an ice cream machine option!) and bring them during your walks together

due to his long tongue he eats his ice cream really fast and then snatches a bit of yours when you aren't looking 😭😭

you two often just give up on planning what outdoor activities you'll do and just lay in the warm grass together, if you know how to make flower crowns that's another plus bc he looks adorable with one !

your laying in the grass often just becomes napping together cuz he curls up to you and you two fall asleep while spooning

it's kinda hard for him to kiss you properly since he doesn't have lips so he uses his tongue to kind of?? gently (yet very quickly) touch your cheek or whatever with it like a chameleon (he does it and then when you flinch he acts like he didn't do anything smh wholesome bastard!!!!!!)

while walking he often picks you up and sits you on his shoulder (this is just me projecting on every buff idv character at this point)

his chest is like a soft block of ice it's the best thing to lay on🙏🙏he's also built like an enormous inverted tortilla chip which makes things better

absolutely abuses the fact that his tail is prehensile and uses it to grab you and throw you right into his arms he's smooth as hell

Since we’re dealing with pride incarnate, MC always has to look their best so casual clothes is a no-no. Business casual MAYBE but absolutely NO JEANS. Signature colors of blue and red. I think he would like simple but EXPENSIVE jewelry and obvi wearing the matching necklace u got for his birthday

For like a formal wear/evening gown type thing im thinking of ONE SPECIFIC DRESS from the sims but I imagine his taste would lean to long sleeve, square/high neck gown - no embellishments but a nice textured material, maybe ombre? - with a very low back, so its like a surprise and when he touches the small of ur back he feels ur skin ☺ I just think its cute and if u subscribe to the "pactmarks make tattoos" camp then bonus if his pactmark is on ur back lmao

So of the formerly-undateables, only dia came easy to me ig bc ive read enough ff to come to a conjecture about his personality type? When you were six and tripped over your own feet as you sprinted to try and pet the puppy before it walked off, wailing as Uzui rubbed your cheeks and pinched your nose, making funny faces in an attempt to calm you down. At thirteen when you tried to paint your nails for the first time but ended up with clumps and dried paint on the edges of your fingertips, rolling your eyes and flicking his forehead when he teased you about your inability to colour inside the lines. When Uzui turned 18 and was gifted a secondhand car from his parents, as you held tight onto the seatbelt, Uzui in the driver’s seat laughing and telling you to don’t worry so much or you’re going to get frown lines.

You’d known Uzui since you were a child, so it wasn’t shocking to you that in all your years of knowing him, he only ever had three girlfriends, all of which were long-term. You, on the other hand, seemed to go on a date with a different person every other week. You’d meet someone at a café and hit it off, thinking that you were so lucky to have met someone so wonderful, only for them to send you a this isn’t going to work out text the day after your date. Everyone your friends set you up with, promising that you’re going to love them! ghosted you after the second date, if not the third.

Uzui had been with you after every date before you even knew that it was a failed one; he had been the one to help you pick out your outfits every time, after all. He’d been there for you every time, giving you a pat on the back and offering you a hot chocolate while you cussed up a storm, cursing out your friends for getting your hopes up again and again. He’d hold back on his teasing if he noted that you were particularly upset, which you were eternally grateful for, but when he knew that you were not bothered, he’d poke fun at you until you decked him in the face with your pillow.

Uzui had always been beside you and supported you every time you went on a date, so you were left confused when he didn’t even read your message. The small, italicized Delivered underneath your text glares back at you as you squint, urging it to change to the familiar Read you see every time you send Uzui a message. It doesn’t change. You shrug it off; it’s not like you couldn’t function without him anyway…

…Is what you would have liked to say. Throughout the entirety of your date, you found yourself distracted. Every buzz of your phone you’d check for Uzui’s name, only to be disappointed when it wasn’t. By the end of it, your date had made it clear they wouldn’t be seeing you again, saying that they felt as if you were too distracted with your phone. You shrugged it off, they weren’t wrong.

When you got home, you were surprised to see Uzui sitting on your couch, one of your game controllers in hand while the other one lay on the seat beside him. He barely gave you a glance before patting the seat with the controller. He doesn’t say anything for the first half hour, before finally speaking up, “So, how did the date go?”

“It was fine. We’re not seeing each other again,” you reply, eyes never leaving the screen. “You never replied to my text.”

He grins, “Oh? Were you worried about me? Is that why your date went bad?” Your character dies, and you take the chance to grab the cushion, swinging it at him.

“Yeah, I was worried, you dick! I thought something happened.” He catches the cushion, barking out a laugh, before he grows silent. He’s staring at you, brows furrowed, as if he’s thinking hard about what to say next. “What? Is there something on my face?”

“No, nothing. I was just thinking about how little sense it makes that you’ve never had a long-term relationship.” You should feel offended, really, but the way he looks at you makes you force your thoughts back. He takes your silence as his cue to continue, “I mean I’ve been in love with you for the past two years I don’t know how you never realized.”

“You’ve what? Tengen that’s not a funny joke.”

The shit-eating grin doesn’t leave his face even after you tell him to stop joking around. You think back over your memories of the past two years. Uzui had never given off the impression that he’d loved you in any way other than purely platonically, but you and him have been best friends since you were children. You realize that at one point you stopped overthinking everything he did for you and that it had become natural for him to sleep in the same bed as you, that every time he brought you a drink from the café down the street and kissed your forehead was something that you had assumed to be a friendly gesture.

“Look as much as I appreciate you admiring my face, I’m still waiting for an answer, you know.” Uzui’s rolling his eyes, but you can tell from the way his hands fidget that he’s nervous.

“Oh…Uhm, yeah,” you manage to stutter out. “I like you too.” His posture changes immediately; his back is straighter, his head tilted back ever so slightly.

Wings of The Ravens

    Okay, I finally decide to introduce my project "渡鸦之翼" here on Tumblr as well. If you have talked to/discussed with me about it or if you've seen my works on other platforms, you probably know some info already. I also include some simple info of "how I think/work" when working on the project in this blog. 

     And I am sorry for the grammar mistakes and sorts of problems here! 😂

     渡鸦之翼, the current English translation to it is Wings of The Ravens (WOTR for short). It's not really the name of the AU, instead, it's the title of the graphic novel / project. But regarding the title as the name of the AU is more convenient for me to mention and talk about it. 

     It's inspired by TUE, but definitely NOT about TUE. DP is a PG-13(FV) show, and what I'm writing is a graphic novel (probably PG-13 or PG-14), so there're lots of differences between the AU and the origin in many aspects. I am doing my best to make the AU reasonable, with a set of rules that make sense (hopefully😂) in some ways. In addition, I don't follow every rule and don't use many of the concepts from DP. I tend to make WOTR feels more… original, but still recognizable, which really requires a lot of effort and devotion. 😂

     Apart from expressing my love towards DP, I also want to learn and take a deeper look at drawing, fiction writing (story telling), translation, as well as practising the skills related. I will convey my opinions on many things, discuss problems/ topics about life, nature and so on. And this is a good chance for me to communicate with various people… Another important thing is that working on WOTR helps me learn how to work on my completely original projects. 

Basic Info of The AU Where WOTR Takes Place: 

     It's kind of peaceful, compared to the original. People live normal/regular lives and nobody is too powerful. Anything like the damages to the worlds showed in TUE (or things like that) aren't possible to happen. 

     No Reign Storm. 

     Characters wouldn't be completely good/ evil. Villains are called villains usually because there are conflicts of interests between them and the main characters. 

     Danny is separated into two, and the  situation is similar to that in TUE. But the "human" lives, he's one of the narrators. I call him Daniel in order to differ him from the halfa Danny and the ghost "created" by Danny and Vlad… 

     Most canon characters are OOC, compared to their origins. It's an AU and I don't bother making characters act exactly like the original. 

     Ghost Zone is a world, and a "transfer station" (similar to some concepts from my other projects). It's not regarded as a dimension and is not as chaotic as the original. 

     Ghosts aren't one "species". They don't follow one set of rules particularly despite of the basic rules of the world (they're from/in). Like, Walker's rules don't work for everyone. And he only takes care of the special ones who're in his range of power, and doesn't look for others' troubles. 

     Are ghosts dead people's souls here? I don't really care. They are more like creatures/ aliens here, and sometimes, can even be machines and a freaking island/ mountain. "Ghost" is just a name anyway… (But the so-called living ones can be the ones who are actually, dead. ☺)

     "Ghosts are evil" is nonsense! ?😒

     Creatures/ objects from the Earth are aliens (or probably "ghosts") to GZ, and earth creatures can be very dangerous to ghosts sometimes. 

     There're other "worlds" as well. And there are other fantasy creatures. 

Time for the more detailed info about WOTR! 

     The most important rule of fiction writing doesn't allow me to talk much about characters (not to mention the plots!), so there's only some pretty simple (shallow) stuff here. 

     I often redesign the canon characters. The redesigns for many of the canon characters is basically changing their outfits and only a bit of their physical appearances, since I want them to be pretty recognizable. Some important characters are reset in some ways. For some characters who aren't really noticeable in DP, they might be changed a lot or even be completely reset. 

     There are more than one narrator, which is really hard to handle. But it provides reliable views to readers to know/ understand situations, considering that some narrators aren't being honest all the time, or sometimes being too subjective and emotional. Though I don't switch the narrators all the time of course! 

     The major stories are about Danny's (and his "counterpart"'s) freaking (daily?) life(s).

    Daniel represents Danny's "human half". In early concepts, I said that "He's a human!", but now, I have to correct that. He REPRESENTS the human half, (and he is regarded as the human) which means he doesn't have to be an actual one. He looks basically the same to Danny, except for some little details. There's another design for Daniel, which is an symbolic image. The obvious difference is that he now has a pair of "wings", which are technically NOT wings, and I call them 类翼体 ("Wing-like things" is the closest translation I can think of). The wing-like things serve as a symbol/ symbols, meaning that they don't have to be sth "real". Though I still designed a functional structure for them. When Daniel's winged, he acts a bit… different. So it's okay if you say he's another (another?) counterpart of Danny.

     Jazz, Sam and Tucker are alive and well. (I don't see why they should be dead…) Their characters in the show are sometimes… weird… I want them to have some better reasons for most of their actions and have some actual developments. And the designs… Sam's outfit just can't look that similar to that of Danny! And, there's Valerie! There's got to be Valerie! Another kiddo who is really fun to draw—— the ghost "created" by Danny and Vlad. Let's just call him Dan. This wonderful child is absolutely OOC (but I have no regret and I can explain anyway). The original design (and concepts/ settings) is awesome, but it isn't suitable for WOTR.

The Art and Story Telling

     WOTR is a graphic novel, so I use storyboads to show events and scenes. I try to use the ways of fiction writing (literary novels and sorts) to tell stories and I also learn and use methods of story telling from movies/films, TV series, news, comics, illustration books and many other forms of stories. Of course I read graphic novels, and they are really inspiring! 

     As for the drawings, I always try my best to make okay/fine stuff. My basic is not good. But I am learning and working to get better!

Art style isn't one of the most important things when actually drawing, so I usually don't bother to worry about it. Although, in my opinion, art styles can be really helpful to story telling. So I will switch the style obviously if the plot needs (or when I want to). But anyway, my art will still be my art, the same goes to my writing.

     I don't usually stick to DP style completely. When I imitate sth that's because I think that sth looks nice and it can be handled. In addition, the ways I design characters (including OCs) might look a bit similar to DP's… 

     The main stories are always digital art. 

     Dialogues are particularly difficult to write. They play an really important role… The good thing is that I don't have to tell everything (not literally) through dialogues like the original show (and most movies/ TV series), so in this case, it will be more like literary fictions, which means it has the advantage of letting readers to discover/ think more by themselves. 

     Less dialogues (telling) is difficult for me to write and organise the storyboads, but it reduce the pressure of translation, which is a big problem I have to face.

Languages and Translation

     For most phans who writes fics and/ or makes comics, translation isn't even sth they would need to consider. However, it is a real thing here.

     WOTR(the main stories!) will originally be in Chinese (Mandarin), and now I'm certain that I will make (at least) TWO language versions for WOTR (the main stories), one in Chinese and another one in English. You know, sometimes I have to make THREE versions (usually the conceptual contents and stuff aside from the main stories…) (okay, I now sometimes prefer to write in Cantonese… But it's so hard to translate… ). 

     I will try my best to translate contents into English when some certain part is finished writing. And I need actual help indeed. 

     Not all dialogues will be translated.

     I think the concept of ghost speak is interesting. It would be fun if there were ghost speak in WOTR, but that would take too much time for me to figure it out (I'm not too interested in it anyway). So there isn't ghost speak. Still, I want to use sth that has a similar effect. You see, I prefer not to write/ draw some pretty but meaningless/random scribbles, so I will use actual language(s) (or to be exact, actual writing systems and fonts). Honestly, I can just use my native language as well as using some strange fonts. The words look just like little drawings/ scribbles. And there're codes! The simple ones of course! And don't worry, the dialogues that won't be translated shouldn't be a big problem while reading! Because they only take up a very small part of the textual contents and aren't very very important info… (They are usually spoken by my OCs… Besides, using codes is fun…)

     Alright, this is basically some simple info about WOTR.

     I want to post WOTR to Deviant Art once I have finished the pages of first two or three chapters. I haven't finished writing (/drawing) WOTR, and I find that I cannot access DA without a VPN now! Don't understand why it is also blocked, which really bothers me.

     There's another platform called Lofter, to which I will certainly post WOTR. On Lof, DP isn't as well-known as it is here, but at least the situation isn't that bad. But I think the platform isn't friendly to browsers who don't use its APP. 

     I will try to post more info and concepts about WOTR as well as my other projects and stuff. If possible, I might post the graphic novel here, too. I really would love to share my works and be more active here, but it really really depends. 

     I've heard that the fire wall will update soon, and when it's done, most VPNs won't work anymore, which means it will be extremely difficult for me to access many international media platforms/ websites like Tumblr and Instagram (and please not DA! ). I don't know when will that happen…  But you can still find me on other platforms anyway…

And lol, Idk if I should start blocking empty blogs- they vary in their emptiness, but I've literally gotten blogs with zero posts and zero likes who only follow me and staff. I kinda want to gauge how I look with different outfits and stuff, but I shouldn't let the number of notes on a post influence my self esteem, if that makes sense? Anyway, bestie, my Monday was ok ☺ Tbh, I'm miserable at my job, so I'm kinda looking forward to the weekend again 😅 And no plans, I've been kind of a hermit this pandemic, just going to work and coming home, and I live in a new city far from anyone I know, so my life's a little boring now tbh. I'm happy you're getting the booster though, bestie! I got my booster about a month ago when a lot of my coworkers started getting sick (fortunately my test was negative)- stay safe, there's a lot of new variants going around.
