people REALLY should read Battle For Dream Island But Non-Canon by @antisocialmedia-asm , especially if you like longfics and angst and really good mysteries and lore and writing and want to see the bfdi contestants (especially the more underrated ones) expanded beyond just being a silly bfdi character AND if you want to see some of the TPOT rcs compete and have personalities and characters of their own

Several times throughout the day, I thought about going onto social media before remembering I couldn’t (mainly snapchat).I found that it was quite nice not having the exception upon me to check these apps and watch every single story. Finally, I noticed that I had spent very little time on my phone compared to usual.

Having something of a Twitch Dad moment. In other words: Rant incoming. It’s enough of a struggle for social media algorithms to keep up with the people I follow. That was the whole point of these platforms — to make connections and stay in touch with people. That being said, I got a question fpr @instagram — “What the actual Kentucky Fried F@*k are you doing?!” It’s bad enough I have to get sponsored posts every three to four times, and sure, I understand, you have to pay the bills. NOW I’m getting SUGGESTED accounts to follow?! Like you all are doing such a crash-hot job keeping me in touch with people I am following, right? This “suggested” accounts is ridiculous enough with Reels, but now my feed is now filling up with people and organizations I have ZERO interest in following. BUT YOU’RE DELIVERING THEIR CONTENT TO ME WITHOUT FAIL!
