Anti-Snoring Devices: Sleep Apnea Relief Uncovering The Potential For Significant Growth
Loud and disruptive snoring can negatively impact both the snorer and their sleeping partners. Repeated interrupted sleep cycles lead to fatigue, irritability and health issues over time. Snoring is often caused by sleep apnea, a serious sleep disorder where breathing stops and starts repeatedly. Left untreated, sleep apnea raises the risk of high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke. Continuous snoring vibrations can also damage the throat tissues. Finding relief from snoring through popular snoring devices is a growing trend.
How Anti-Snoring Devices Work
Most anti-snoring aids work by opening the airways and gently advancing the jaw and tongue, enabling smoother breathing during sleep. Some popular options include mouthpieces, chin straps, nasal dilators and pillows. Mouthpieces are fitted by a dentist to hold the mouth closed and tongue forward for an unobstructed airway. Chin straps use adjustable straps to prevent the chin from dropping and tongue falling back during sleep. Nasal dilators use adhesive strips to widen the nasal passages for clearer breathing. Special pillows help position the head, neck and spine to encourage unblocked breathing throughout the night.
 Rise Of At-Home Treatment Devices
With growing awareness of sleep health, consumer demand has risen for easy-to-use at-home Anti-Snoring Devices. This has fueled robust growth globally. Rather than opting for painful surgeries or complex medical devices, many now prefer inexpensive self-treatment options. Oral appliance therapy using custom-fitted mouthpieces is very effective and dentists report rising appointments for them. Prenatal testing also shows how even mild to moderate snoring during pregnancy disturbs the mother's sleep, driving demand. No-drill options with fast, drug-free relief have wide appeal over prescribed options.
Innovations Driving New Customers
Manufacturers respond to demand through new technologies and materials making devices discreet, comfortable and highly effective. Smartphone apps now track snoring and suggest personalized adjustments. 3D printing allows customized mouthpieces to be produced in-house within hours. Silicone and thermoplastic materials make appliances lightweight and breathable. Device subscriptions cater to individuals testing multiple options over time. New products target side sleepers and combinations handle both snoring and sleep apnea. As innovations raise success rates and new customers seek relief every year, this continues expanding globally.
Online Channels Transform Access
Powered by e-commerce, the consumer journey has shifted online from browsing to buying anti-snoring devices. Product reviews, comparison features and virtual consultations help consumers shortlist suitable options quickly. Free trials and money-back guarantees minimize risks. Subscription services provide ongoing solutions tailored to usersâ changing needs. Companies now build virtual evaluation tools allowing customers to âtry before buyâ through digital mouth scans. With COVID boosting online trends hereon, remote access through telehealth will increasingly drive this beyond brick-and-mortar reach. Online retail, together with widening insurance coverage, will further spearhead future growth potentials.
Continued Momentum Ahead
As sleep needs more attention and shifts to home-selfcare, snoring devices will maintain strong, continued demand globally given aging populations and obesity increases. Emerging economies like India and China contribute added potential as awareness spreads. experts foresee sustained 10% yearly gains across oral appliances and other anti-snoring aids worldwide.
Technology partnerships will combine cardiopulmonary diagnostics with treatment to expand into sleep apnea territory as well. With changing lifestyles negatively impacting sleep worldwide, preventive solutions like anti-snoring aids are sure to hold ongoing relevance and business value for stakeholders in the future.

Do Night Guards Help with Snoring?
You know how annoying snoring can be to a restful night's sleep if you or your partner snores. Daytime exhaustion, anger, and even more severe health issues might result from snoring. While there are many different ways to treat snoring, using a night guard is one that is frequently suggested. We will discuss night guards in this post, including what they are, how they operate, and whether or not they can reduce snoring.
What are Night Guards?
Dental guards, commonly referred to as night guards, are appliances that are worn in the mouth while you sleep. They are often constructed from a supple, flexible material and are made with comfort in mind. Although they can also be used to treat snoring, night guards are most frequently used to treat teeth grinding, and bruxism or Anti Snoring Mouthpiece or Mouthguard.
How do Night Guards Work?
The way that night guards work is by shifting the jaw to clear the airway and stop snoring. The sleep guard assists in maintaining the airway open by keeping the jaw slightly forward, making breathing easier and minimizing snoring.
Types of Night Guards
There are two main types of night guards: over-the-counter (OTC) and custom-fitted.
Over-the-Counter Night Guards
Most drugstores carry over-the-counter (OTC) night guards, which are normally made of a boil-and-bite substance that may be shaped to fit the wearer's teeth. Although these guards are less expensive than guards that are specifically tailored to the wearer, they might not be as effective and might not be as comfortable.
Custom-Fitted Night Guards
A dentist can create night guards that are specifically built to fit a person's teeth. These guards cost more than OTC guards, but they often perform better and are more comfortable to wear.
Do Night Guards Help with Snoring?
Yes, night guards can help with snoring, to give the quick answer. The likelihood of snoring can be decreased with night guards since they help to free up the airway by placing the jaw. Night guards are not a snoring cure, it is crucial to remember, and they might not work for everyone.
Who Should Use Night Guards for Snoring?
The best candidates for night guards are those who snore because of a restricted airway or an unaligned jaw. A night guard might not work if other conditions like obesity or nasal congestion are to blame for your snoring.
How to Get a Night Guard
You should speak with your dentist if you want to use a sleep guard for snoring. Your dentist can advise you on the best night guard for your requirements and, if necessary, can fit you with a bespoke guard. Get snore stopper device and sleep better.
Other Snoring Treatments
Even though night guards can be an effective snoring treatment, other approaches might be preferable depending on the source of your snoring. Other methods of snoring treatment include:
Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy
Nasal strips
Oral appliances
Surgery
Conclusion
It can be worthwhile to try a night guard if you or your partner snores. Snoring brought on by a constrained airway or an unaligned jaw can be effectively treated with night guards. To choose the best course of action for your needs, it is crucial to speak with your dentist.

masterlist
I have this thing where I get older, but just never wiser
Midnights become my afternoons
When my depression works the graveyard shift, all of the people
I've ghosted stand there in the room
Life seemed to be falling apart for Y/N.
In the middle of the dark room, the only noises that filled the deafening silence were the ticking sound coming from the big clock on the wall, and the troubled thoughts that seemed to reappear in her head night after night.
Tick. Tock.
Tick. Tock.Â
Tick. Tock.
Time passed and passed, but Y/N remained there, frozen, haunted by her own demons.
To be completely frank, life had never really felt right for the young woman.
The battle in her head was something usual, ever since she was just a little girl. It didn't matter how old she got, she never got wiser.
It felt completely unreasonable how she could feel herself drowning in sadness when just hours before she had had one of the happiest days of her life.
Charles's strong arms wrapped around her shoulders, the skin of her back against his warm chest, their eyes fixed on the dazzling sunset before them on the clear waters of Monaco, as they lay on the bed of his yacht.
The warm tones that painted the skies and waters were intoxicating, as was Charles's presence.
As much as she tried to keep her attention on that magical gift of nature, Y/N could only thank fate for having that wonderful man by her side.
I don't know what I did to deserve you, she thought to herself.
"Mon amour?" The Monegasque's voice woke her from her trance. "Do you think we... Forget it, it's silly."
The girl turned towards her boyfriend, their eyes now connected, just inches apart. "What is it, Charles? You know you can tell me anything." She said, though her anxiety was already starting to creep up in her stomach.
He took a deep breath, gathering all the courage in him, and with her eyes shining brighter than ever, she asked. "Do you think we'll ever get married?"
Her heart skipped a few beats at the driver's words, looking as nervous as ever, but for a second... Y/N allowed herself to dream.
"If it's not you, I'll never be with anyone else, Charles Leclerc. You're it for me."
Hours have passed since one of the most breathtaking moments of her life, and there she was: scared to death about the future.
Charles was fast asleep in their room, his light snores echoing down the hall through the open door.
Y/N looked at the time -Â 12:05 AM.
It was midnight, and the girl just sat on the leather couch in their living room, with only silence for company.
As the girl got up to go back to her bed where her boyfriend was waiting for her, she couldn't understand how she got everything she ever dream of, but she just couldn't feel as happy as she should have.
I should not be left to my own devices
They come with prices and vices
I end up in crisis
(Tale as old as time)
For as long as she can remember, she's been that way.
She could remember the exact moment when her world changed, when her walls closed in around her, when everything she knew crashed into pieces to the ground.
For little Y/N, just an innocent child at the time, her father's sudden absence from their home seemed inexplicable. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and there was no sign of him.
With no message, no farewell, no explanation.
Just like air, he was just⌠gone.
The colourful house where she laughed and played with both of her parents quickly became a set of broken walls, colourless and lifeless.
Her mother had never been the same ever since, and even today the young woman cannot forget the image of the woman she loved most in her entire life, sitting on the old sofa in her childhood home, exhausted, empty, without the energy to cry anymore.
Much like she mirrored it now.
Months turned into years since her father left her but, like a ghost standing there in the room, the lingering consequences of his actions still haunted her until that day.
No matter how much therapy she got, Y/N always felt like that lonely girl who could never make friends, who sabotaged every single relationship she had.
It seemed the only permanent companion she was going to have in her life was her crushing, persistent depression.
That was until she met Charles, right at the moment she most needed a shoulder to lean on.
It was 2020 - the year her biggest dream finally came true.
Y/N was finally going to become a Formula 1 driver.
Wherever she looked as she entered the circuit for the first time, the young woman could sense the eyes fixed on her and the curiosity that revolved around her.
Y/N L/N, the first woman in the 21st century to be part of the very competitive F1 grid, the promising new rookie racing for Williams Racing.
It was a whole mix of emotions: the happiness, pride and satisfaction that the new young driver felt for fulfilling her dream couldn't help but be overshadowed by all the controversy, hatred and hostility that her entry into the sport brought with it.
'This is not a girl's sport'
'She must have slept with someone important'
'She's just a pretty face'
Y/N heard it all while trying to turn a deaf ear to all these hateful people.
The girl sat in the chair in the middle of the conference room, prepared to face the world on her first day in media, but reality quickly managed to bite back at her when one of the interviewers walked over to her, eyes wide with scorn plastered in his face.
"Question for Y/N: How does it feel to know that such a talented driver was left with no seat in the team for you to join, just because you're a woman?"
I wake up screaming from dreaming
One day, I'll watch as you're leaving
'Cause you got tired of my scheming
(For the last time)
To say the woman was taken aback was an understatement.
Her voice seemed to have disappeared and her brain to have stopped being able to form sentences as she tried to understand the complete, unfair misogyny she was suffering just for being a person trying to achieve her goals, regardless of gender.
Out of nowhere, a warm voice echoed through the room, drawing all attention to him.
"How about you stop being a complete idiot and try to do your job like a professional instead?" The brunette in red spoke, full of confidence and determination. "Y/N is here because she deserves it and because she has immense talent. No one here is going to take credit away from her just because they're a sexist pig."
Her eyes threatened tears as his met her grateful gaze.
Little did she know that the hero who stood up for her would end up being the love of her life.
Back to that day, Y/N suddenly woke up from her dream screaming, still tormented by the discrimination she had to face and still had to face until that very day.
"Hey, hey..." Charles woke up, cupping her face gently in his hands, making her look towards him as he wiped the tears that were streaming from her eyes. "Are you all right? Breathe, mon ange. It was just a dream."
"Yes, it's okay." Y/N swallowed hard, lying through her teeth. "It was just a nightmare, Charles. Don't worry."
He pulled her into his arms, hugging her tight to comfort her, but in reality, in the back of her mind, she could only think of the worst.
He deserves so much better than the mess I am. He'll get tired and just leave me one day. Like everybody else does.
It's me, hi
I'm the problem, it's me
At teatime, everybody agrees
I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror
It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero
Until sunrise, the girl stayed awake, her mind doing what she knew how to do best:Â racing.
Not even the strong arms that enveloped her body, or the heat that her partner's body emitted were capable of transmitting some calm, or some security.
She was the problem.
Tired of lying in bed without any rest, Y/N gave up on being there and, exhausted, she got up, heading back to the cold living room in the centre of the apartment.
She tried everything to get her mind away from the negativity poisoning her system: reading a book, watching a movie, cooking breakfast. But all in vain.
Hours passed before she heard Charles's footsteps interrupting the silence, and soon she could see her boyfriend, shirtless, showing off his excellent physical shape, and stretching as he walked towards her.
"Good morning, mon amour." Charles said, hugging his girlfriend's body from behind and placing a soft kiss on the top of her shoulder. "Did you make breakfast? Damn, I'm lucky." He chuckled, still noticeably sleepy.
You're lucky? You deserve so much more than this, than me, her self-sabotaging thoughts returned.
"So what are we going to do today?" The man asked as he bit into the toast in his hand. "I was thinking we could have lunch at that restaurant by the marina that you love so much."
"I can't, Charles. I have to go to the team headquarters later." Falling back into her harmful tendencies, and without having the courage to look back at him, Y/N tried to keep her distance from him, using the scheduled meeting (which she didn't need to attend) as an excuse.
"Ah okayâŚ" The Monegasque felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise, as he sensed that something wasn't right with her. "If you want to do something when you get-"
"We'll see." She interrupted, answering dryly. Y/N grabbed her things and headed towards the entrance, her eyes still unable to take in his image. "I'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay, mon ange." He agreed, trying not to pressure his girlfriend. "I love y-"
He hadn't even finished talking and she was already out the door.
Sometimes, I feel like everybody is a sexy baby
And I'm a monster on the hill
Too big to hang out, slowly lurching toward your favorite city
Pierced through the heart, but never killed
Within a few hours, Y/N arrived in Wantage, where her second home was: the elegant, welcoming HQ of Williams Racing.
Although still fragile, Y/N felt slightly more energetic and optimistic just being there, the memory of her professional success enough to give her a small boost of self-esteem.
The girl would never be able to put into words how grateful she would feel for the rest of her life for the chance the team gave her.
Entering through the large glass door, Y/N soon found Jost, her team principal, who supported her unconditionally during her two years on the team. The two quickly fell into casual conversation, rambling about the car's performance and the strategies used in previous races.
They stayed that way for a few minutes, until the voice of one of the engineers chanted through the walls of the long corridor, clearly unaware that he was being heard.
"I just don't understand what that she is fucking doing here, man. Y/N is just a little girl, we need a strong man behind that wheel."
The man quickly came face to face with the duo, fear spreading across his face: not for hurting Y/N's feelings - that he couldn't care less; but because he got caught red-handed by his superior - a man, that held the power over his job.
Jost tried to put a hand on the young woman's shoulder, but her body was already out of sight as the driver made her escape, the sound of Capito's scolding the rude man barely audible to her as she ran away from the scene.
She was the problem.
She simply would never be good enough.
Did you hear my covert narcissism
I disguise as altruism
Like some kind of congressman?
(Tale as old as time)
Unbeknownst to the girl, her teammate, Alex, couldn't help noticing her tearful figure escaping towards the garden that decorated the back of the headquarters.
Without thinking twice, the Thai hurriedly followed her, gently grabbing her wrist to stop her.
"Y/N, what's wrong?" The boy asked him, a worried look on his face.
Despite the girl being able to count on one hand the true friendships she managed to build in her entire life, Alex Albon was one of the few people she really connected with.
The genuine, loving boy felt almost like the brother she never had, protecting her with everything he had since the day she joined Williams.Â
Two years had passed since then and his presence in her life was now unparalleled and irreplaceable.
"Just tale as old as time."Â She spoke without thinking, wiping the tears from her eyes. "Forget it. It's no big deal."
Her friend put his arm around the girl's shoulders, pulling her into a comforting hug. "You know I can read you like the back of my hand, Y/N."
"It's justâŚ" The girl sobbed, letting her cheek rest against the tall man's chest. "I'm fed up. Sometimes I just want to give up on it all, on Formula 1, on motorsports. I'm tired of feeling less than everyone else just because I'm not a man."
"Hey, look at me." Alex said, placing both of his hands on the girl's forearms. "You're here because you deserve it. You've won championships in the junior categories. You've scored a hell out of points for a driver in a car like Williams. You and I are literally the most successful duo in the team in the last decade."
The girl couldn't help but laugh softly, sniffling her nose. "When you put it that way..."
"Believe me, Y/N." Albon spoke, hugging the girl he saw as his 'little sister' again. "I'm so proud of you, Charles is so proud of you, all the drivers on the grid are. Fuck what others think."
I wake up screaming from dreaming
One day, I'll watch as you're leaving
And life will lose all its meaning
(For the last time)
To say that Alex made her feel so much better was an understatement.
Suddenly, Y/N had a pep in her step, a grin from ear to ear, a renewed energy within her and an eagerness to return home to the one she loved.
The girl couldn't help but feel guilty for the way she treated Charles that morning, so she decided to surprise him with her early return and also a small gift.
Y/N was a gift giver, especially for Charles, who always looked like a little boy on Christmas Eve every time she did so.
Charles had spent weeks and weeks drooling over a sweater from his favourite brand, helping his girlfriend choose the gift. With her headphones in her ears, the girl glided through the aisle of the store in Monte Carlo, straight to the selected piece of clothing.
As she searched for the correct size, the side of her face heated up as she felt someone's attention suddenly on her. The whispers distracted her from what she was doing and she discreetly turned down the music on her phone to listen to what the two laughing girls were saying.
"I don't know, I've heard rumours about them but I don't think so."
"I hope not, I mean, he's Charles Leclerc! He can have any girl he wants."
"You're so right. He's probably just fucking some bikini model on the low."
The sweater remained on the hanger, as Y/N left the store empty-handed.
It's me, hi
I'm the problem, it's me
At teatime, everybody agrees
I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror
It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero
It looked like she simply couldn't catch a break that day: the world was determined to bring her down.
Opening the apartment door, Y/N entered, being immediately seen by her boyfriend who had a smile the size of the world.
"Mon amour, you're back!" He got up from his chair, nearly tripping over his own feet with the excitement that filled him. "You don't understand how happy I am to see y- What's wrong, Y/N?"
The boy was caught off guard by the discouraged, beaten-down look on his partner's face, as he expected her to come home happy to have visited the team she loved so much.
"Charles, we need to talk." She spoke, her eyes still not looking at him, similar to the morning.
"I don't like that tone. Are you going to break up with me or something?" He joked nervously, trying to break the tense atmosphere between them.
However, when he looked at her, Charles understood that this was exactly what she was thinking about.
Suddenly, the weight of the velvet box he'd been keeping in his pocket seemed to have tripled.
I have this dream my daughter-in-law kills me for the money
She thinks I left them in the will
The family gathers 'round and reads it and then someone screams out
"She's laughing up at us from Hell"
After a few agonizing seconds of silence, the young woman gathered her courage and looked at the other driver, who had a terrified look on his face.
Charles felt a multitude of emotions at once; he was scared, confused, angry, desperate.
How could she try to do that to him when he was preparing to take the next step in their relationship?
"Charles, don't look at me like that." Y/N turned her tearful gaze to the ground, not having the strength to watch the boy's heart break as hers did. "It's for the best. You deserve so much. You are the best person in this whole fucking world, and I... I'm just me: talentless, worthless me. You can do so much better than-"
"Don't even dare finish that sentence." Charles threatened, lovingly grabbing the girl's face by her jaw and forcing her to look him in the eyes. "I love you, Y/N. I love you so fucking much. I love you more than anything and anyone in this world."
The girl couldn't hold back the sob that threatened to come out of her lips, as she shook her head in opposition to the words the Monegasque was saying.
"Just stop!" The man said, his voice rising. He leaned his forehead against hers, wiping her cheeks with one of his hands. "It's you. You're it for me, remember? You told me so, and I feel the same way about you."
"There is no one else for me. No one better than you, no one who makes me feel like you do, or who I want to spend the rest of my days with." Charles continued speaking, trying to make the girl realize how much she meant to him, desperate to change her mind.
He felt her body relax slightly against his and he knew right there:Â it was now or never, this was the moment for his grand romantic gesture.
Guided by his impulsiveness, Charles reached into the back pocket of his jeans and pulled out the navy blue box, setting it on the counter in front of her.
Y/N felt her breathing stop. Was that what she thought it was?
The Ferrari driver opened the small box, showing her the most perfect diamond ring inside.
"You are the love of my life, and I never doubted that for a single second. So please, make me the happiest man in the world and marry me."
It's me, hi
I'm the problem, it's me
It's me, hi
I'm the problem, it's me
It's me, hi
Everybody agrees, everybody agrees
God, she wanted to say yes.
But she couldn't. Not when he came into her life as a hero rescuing her from the world, and she...Â
She was just an anti-hero in his story.
Selfishly, Y/N wanted nothing more than to accept his proposal and fall into his arms.
"Are you sure this is what you want, Charles?" The girl looked at him fearfully.
"Mon amour, just say yes and end my agony once and for all." Even in a moment like that, the man still managed to find humour in the situation, letting out a small laugh and placing a tender kiss on her lips.
Both deposited all the love they felt for each other in that kiss, getting stuck in the moment as if they were the only people in the world.
"Yes." Y/N gave in, opening her eyes surprised when she realized that word had slipped out of her mouth without her even realizing it.Â
Charles smiled at her, picked her up from the floor and kissed her. And he kissed her again, and again, his lips just couldn't stay away from hers. "Yes, Charles. Yes. Yes!" She repeated, gradually becoming more and more confident.
With tears in both of their eyes and a shiny new ring around her finger, she looked at the man in front of her: a man who loved her unconditionally with all her flaws, all her struggles, and all her past.
Right then and there, Y/N knew that Charles was her true home, and she could only belong in his arms.
Maybe things weren't falling apart.
Maybe things were starting to fall into the exact places where they needed to.
It's me, hi
I'm the problem, it's me
At teatime, everybody agrees
I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror
It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero

META: Inconvenient Sendings
Thinking about the Logistics of Sendings
This was written for @critter-genfic-events's Gen Week Day 1: Inconvenient Sendings. See the rest of the days here.
You send a short message of twenty-five words or less to a creature with which you are familiar. The creature hears the message in its mind, recognizes you as the sender if it knows you, and can answer in a like manner immediately. The spell enables creatures with Intelligence scores of at least 1 to understand the meaning of your message. You can send the message across any distance and even to other planes of existence, but if the target is on a different plane than you, there is a 5 percent chance that the message doesn't arrive.
Seems simple enough, right?
So thereâs a lot that we can talk about with this - What is a word? Are there code languages set up to impart large amounts of information? Do wizards try to gamify this by learning a language that allows for compound words? But if thereâs anything that Critical Roleâs second campaign makes really obvious, its that there really isnât a simple way to stop sendings.
Outside of a house ruling, of course. Nothing to stop anyone from creating a device or ruling that Sending is actually a divination spell. But in general, most anti-detection spells and devices specify that Sending is divination, and not evocation. Thereâs no saving throw to resist, because the writers didnât consider that anyone would want to waste a Sending on an unwilling participant. Which really, they all had access to twitter at the time, they should have been able to figure out the damage.
Granted, itâs not quite as bad as allowing everyone to slide into your twitter DMs by default. The earliest you get sending is fifth level. I think that weâre a little used to the idea that itâs something that can be cast ridiculously often by everybody - because as a D&D campaign, Critical Role is focused on adventurers and heroes - but itâs the same level as Revivify. Level five is when you are finally not considered local heroes - itâs a âCaptain of the Guardâ level. So itâs not super common - but thereâs still plenty of people that might have it. And if youâre famous enough, you might want to have some familiarity with you - even if itâs just a quick five minute meeting.
But also, thereâs the question of what familiarity means. Does it mean anyone who has heard of and has a seen a depiction of the person? Matt Mercer allows for this, but if we followed this to their logical end, any ruler wouldnât be able to sleep. But if the depiction is necessary - there might be an easy way around that - simply have a court appearance/depiction thatâs very different from their normal appearance. Would that work?
What if someone is impersonating someone else, and gives that personâs name? If someone tries to message the impersonator (having only met the impersonator) would the message go to the impersonator, the real person, or neither?
And then thereâs the question of consecution - if youâre familiar with someoneâs past life, can you message the current one? What if itâs before anamnesis? I personally dislike this one for logistics reasons - it makes the finding of consecuted souls too easily, and thereâs still the question about depictions.
Also, what if theyâre taking a nap, or you get the timezone wrong and theyâre in deep sleep? Does the recipient wake up, or do they just hear it in the dream? I certainly can sleep through people trying to talk to me, and even if I respond, I might not remember it. And if they do respond, is it in the dream: sleep-talking? Or is it just snores? If someone doesnât wake up, are they aware that they got a sending, or might they just think they dreamed a sending? Would they remember it?
The Sending isnât auditory, after all - so the recipient isnât going to miss the conversation just because theyâre paying attention to something else (which is good, most of the time, otherwise a lot of sendings would be missed). But that also implies that the recipient is forced, whether or not they want to, to concentrate on the message, no matter what else they might be doing at the time. So - can you use Sending to break concentration? In my mind, you 100% can, at least with a roll. Especially considering the amount of other psychological work that can be used to help break it - from a catchy song to screams. Typically one would want to use a spell that does damage for the same reason, but if youâre five hundred feet away and want to stop someone nonlethally, maybe thatâs a shot. Especially since, unlike many out-of-combat utility spells, the casting time is only one action.
Thereâs also no way of knowing who a sending is from if they donât know the person and the person doesnât announce themselves. Which might make for an interesting adventure hook on its own: someone has been threatening the Town Special Person through sendings, maybe even blackmailing them. Itâs up to the adventuring party to try and find the person and stop them - possibly by recognizing their voice secondhand.
This is also assuming that some aspect of the voice gets transmitted - though the spell doesnât require the recipient to speak the same language as the sender. Does that mean the recipient receives comprehension of the senderâs language, does the recipient hear the message in their language, or do they simply know what the message is and who sent it - and any sort of auditory information is made up by their brain?
Thereâs no real right answers to this, only rulings for whatever fanfic or campaign youâre playing in.

Witches, I dont know who else to ask, but I'm so curious. What is that thing that Patrick puts in his nose?! Does it actually help people breathe better?
And now to why I *actually* am asking you. Are there any fics that talk more about that nose thing? I'm in love with it. It's so goofy.
Thanks, witches! You guys are simply the best! đ
Thank you for this ask, friend. The coven was most amused.
There are lots of versions of the Nose Thingy⢠(aka nose clip, an anti-snoring device) online, with varying degrees of good reviews. So maybe it helps? Maybe not?
It makes an appearance in quite a few fics in passing, but here are two that are more specific:

There are many different types of anti-snoring devices available that can help reduce or eliminate snoring. These devices work in different ways to alter your breathing or anatomy while you sleep in order to decrease vibration of tissues in the throat. Letâs take a look at some of the most common anti-snoring devices.

Anti-Social Artist (Glamrock Freddy x Fem Reader) Chapter 8: Parental Figures
'Everything's fine, everything's fine, everything's fine, everything's fine, everything's fine. EVERYTHING IS FINE.'
I clutched my comfort hoodie with a trembling hand while I stroked my hair with the other to ground myself. My heart felt like it would break its way out of my ribcage. My chest carried this dense and heavy weight that suffocated my lungs as I leaned against the corner of the room. "I'm not selfish...I'm not greedy. People misunderstand me. I did nothing wrong. I did..." I tried so hard to keep the emotions within myself as I should, but after what Montgomery told me back on stage, I couldn't help it. I kept these feelings in for so long it wouldn't hurt to break a little. Yet, I was in Sundrop and Moondrop's home above the daycare, inside a spare room they put me in along with Tiny.
The weighted blankets were so cosy, but I was restless due to the recent events, so I left the bed and sat in a corner to feel the cold walls for alleviation. Tiny DJ Music man was asleep in bed, creating white noise as some snore.
I didn't wake him up because I felt like he went through a lot of trouble to help me. He deserved a break, considering I'm a burden.
'Take deep breaths and count to 10. You did nothing wrong. Even though you knew what you were getting into, it wasn't your fault. Of course, you didn't waltz to the stage and play an electric guitar that didn't belong to you; not at all your fault.'
In situations of stress, I would sarcastically try to enlighten the case or accidentally gaslight myself. It's not like I had any other healthy coping mechanisms, no. I have to stay calm. There's always a reasonable explanation behind everything or nearly everything.
'Montgomery was angry because I took his guitar and used it without permission. Rightfully so, he got angry at me and said some unkind words I wouldn't have chosen for an argument, but still, he was angry, and I shouldn't go against his better judgement-'
I paused my thought, bringing both my hands to my head and stroking my hair, everything started to settle a little, but something inside me couldn't calm down. It hurt. It stung like an angry wasp releasing its anger in my chest, but it didn't die. It wanted to keep going again and again.
The buzzing sounds spread up into my head, asking- no -demanding that I let myself go for once. Don't mask it, don't hide your thoughts, let them know how angry I am, how I see what people say behind my back about my behaviour or how weird I am. I need to make them pay.
'No, it's not worth it. It'll cause something I don't want to be a part of. If I call my coworkers out, it'll prove Monty's words right. I'm not an attention seeker and don't need all the backlash. I am to blame, and I deserve it.'
I grabbed the hem of my hoodie and muffled my mouth in case any noise came from my cries of agony. No words could adequately express this pain other than 'Why?'
I couldn't stop myself. I cried my heart out. My hands were shaking while quieting the noise. I was so tired, so hungry, but mostly drained. Mentally drained.
I wasn't hungry before, but ever since I woke up, I was starting to have cravings. Being starved purposely for two weeks felt like nothing at first, but now that I'm returning to reality, it hit like numerous heavy rocks. I felt so weak, so tired, so angry, so helpless.
I turned off my devices and put them away for space. I felt terrible for leaving Freddy without a sign of life. Being away from social media would help to clear my head, yet, it also provided me with serotonin-like comments from lovely fans of my work. Yet, where there's love, there's also hate, and I didn't want to accidentally come across some mean comments in this state of mind. I needed a clearer head to face the music.
'Wait, music! I need music. But I don't want to turn on my phone, and the only one who can play music is...'
I looked over at my small robot friend, still sleeping soundly. One day, he mentioned I could always come to him if I needed a tune. But first, I needed to get everything out of my system.
I silently crawled across the room and picked from the variety of plushies near the bed, the thickest one that I could find. It was one of those Squishmallows of a Pokemon, a purple one. It was thick but soft; it was perfect for the job.
I crawled back to my corner and let out the most blood-curdling scream I've made in a long time, muffled down decibels enough so the attendants couldn't hear me through the walls.
"WHY?! WHY HAVE I DONE THIS? MONTY NOR FREDDY WILL EVER FORGIVE ME! I HAVE BEEN SO STUPID!"
And then came my annoying sobs again. I couldn't help myself; I was so tired. Why did people call me an attention seeker? Students? Teachers? And now coworkers? Why do they judge too quickly? Why are they so harsh?
'It's because I give them that impression, right?'
At least Aaron doesn't think that, right? Neither does Tiny or the Daycare Attendants, right? Or are they pretending? Do they pity me? Are they walking around eggshells whenever they're with me?
I know I met Sun and Moon, but do they pity me now? Am I a burden to them?
'Well, you only know if you try, Y/n.'
I hugged the plushie tightly against my chest as I stood and tip-toed out of the guest bedroom.
There was a lovely wooden kitchen in the colour of space, a shade of blue. There were stickers, magnets and photographs covering the fridge. The magnetised icons looked like souvenirs from Europe, and the pictures showed both animatronics loving one another. It was sweet.
I looked through the cabinets for a glass and filled it with water from the sink. Things were indeed louder at night when everything was quiet. But due to growing up on guard every day in my household, I was as quiet as a mouse trying to look for food.
I didn't have permission to find something to snack on, so water would help a little for the time being and quench my thirst. I couldn't wash the glass in the sink, it would be loud, but I couldn't leave it in the sink either. I would get in trouble for that.
"Y/n?"
I quickly looked over by the opening where the dining area and the kitchen were connected. It was Moondrop. He had a playful smile on his face. He didn't seem to be angry or annoyed. "Having late-night cravings?"
On the other hand, my face was not relaxed by any means. I felt like the colour drained from my face, pale, fearing one of the worst things after being caught, being scolded with no end. For some reason, that didn't happen. "...no? I just had to get a glass of water. I'm sorry If I woke you up."
Moondrop shook their head with a tired smile. Something about that smile told me that they were used to being awake, but I didn't want to assume.
'It wouldn't hurt to ask, right?'
"You were already awake, weren't you?"
Moondrop looked at me, surprised by my deduction, but nodded as they slowly walked towards me. "While being the one who puts the kids to bed, I help Sun fall asleep. I couldn't sleep since I'm on watch as well."
I automatically looked around cautiously, feeling shivers crawl down my back. "You mean someone is watching us?"
"No," they chuckled, "I was looking out for you until I woke up. You've been asleep for a while."
I looked back at them, confused, pointing at myself. "You were making sure I woke up?" They nodded. "Why?"
Moondrop took a moment to respond. I saw the hesitation, choosing the right words, walking around eggshells, and worried I might take it wrong. But I couldn't judge so quickly; I was putting my guard up to make sure I didn't get hurt again. It was funny how I let my feelings get hurt back on stage but not now when I haven't done anything wrong.
'What if I did something wrong? Did I oversleep? Am I being selfish? Did I take too much of their time? Oh no, I need to leave; I NEED TO GO HOME.'
"Y/n?"
I returned to reality, "Sorry, did you say something?"
Moondrop looked more concerned and reached for their hand out towards me, "Do I have permission to touch you?" They asked so softly, so openly, without hesitation. What did they want? In this case, I simply nodded, and they put their hand on my shoulder and kneeled a bit to my level. "Sun and I were talking about being your mentors to support you throughout your two weeks off and after that, too, without charge."
'Wait, what? This isn't supposed to happen, is it?'
"I'm sorry?" I looked at Moon, astonished but confused. Where was the disappointment? Where was the scolding? Where was my punishment? Aren't I too much? Shouldn't I be disregarded?
"I don't...understand. It's not like I don't want you to be my mentor. It's not that. I just thought that.." I lost my train of thought to explain myself, but I couldn't find the right words. I fiddled with the plushie, trying to hold back my tears. "Why do you...want to help me?"
'Why do they care? I'm nothing. I'm a burden! STOP!'
My body started shaking when I couldn't hold it in any longer. I was overwhelmed, my ribcage collapsing, puncturing my lungs while applying pressure to my heart. My skull tightened around my brain, making my head hurt more and more. Everything. Hurt.
I started picking on the bandages around my knuckles that I forgot existed.
'Oh shit, I broke my mirror and hit my head before but forgot about them. I need to feel something else other than this. I don't want to feel this pressure!'
"I... I need... I need to feel." I flapped my hands aggressively while backing into a corner of the kitchen and sitting down. It felt embarrassing to cry in front of one of my role models. I didn't want to break down now. I couldn't wait to be alone again to let it all out. This wasn't my bubble. It was a new place. I didn't know its surroundings. I didn't see the layout before. It was like I was in space. An infinite amount of space and numerous wonders could be tremendous or dreadful.
I felt the texture of the delicate fabric of my hoodie, the wooden planks on the floor with my feet, and the metal handle next to me from a cabinet. Feelings things kept me grounded or helped me process my surroundings. I couldn't fully hear what Moon was telling me. Their voice felt muffled and almost distorted. I could feel the vibration of footsteps coming and going, but I ignored who they belonged to.
'Touch, feel, recognise, repeat.'
That's what I would tell myself when I couldn't think of anything else. Feel what close to me, soothing textures and temperatures to focus my breathing was.
'Touch, feel, recognise, repeat.'
I straightened my back against the cabinets and took deep breaths. I imagined that my belly had a balloon to fill. I breathed in, inflated the balloon, and exhaled to deflate. Inflate, and reduce again and again.
My head blocked out my surroundings. I could only hear my heart.
*Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound* *Pound*
.... . -.--
(Hey)
Tiny's morse code pushed through my blockage like a signal reaching another through a snowstorm. It was surprising yet not at all painful. A spidey sense picking up someone else's spidey sense if I could put it into words. "Tiny?" I whispered.
.. - .----. ... / --- -.- .- -.--
(It's okay)
"I can't... I can't do it, Tiny, I can't!" I never believed in myself, only in dire situations when I needed a job or had to pull myself together to push through. Right now, it wasn't that time. I was so tired, so hungry and run down. I was a mess. My hands started to shake as I reached out to touch his small, metallic face. I felt the cold surface keep me from trancing. He said something that I couldn't catch. "What?"
-... .-. . .- - .... . / .-- .. - .... / -- .
(Breathe with me)
He raised his tiny hands, repeating a motion slowly to empathise when to breathe in and let go. I calmed down my frantic and panicked breathing while stroking his little face. I held him close like a dog lay on top of you to keep you grounded. It was a cold block instead of a warm fuzzy blanket, which I found more comforting since my skin felt scalding and not to my liking.
'Breathe in and out. Breathe in and out.'
I closed my eyes briefly and held him gently, feeling safe with my best friend. My head felt so empty. My thoughts created an echo at the end of each sentence. In general, my body felt so hollow, so disgusting and worthless. It hurts to live like this.
'Why am I like this?'
'WHY DO I EXIST?'
I broke down again, but this time my sobbing was softer. My whole body shook, and my grip tightened around my miniature friend. I was so scared of being left alone, locked away for being too loud or emotional. "Please don't go, don't leave me. I'm so sorry!"
A larger, colourful hand reached out but didn't touch me to show someone was there. "We're not going anywhere, sunshine. We're right here with you." Sundrop, the bubbly daycare attendant, spoke in a calming and comforting tone. It caught my attention, and I didn't want to lose that kindness.
I looked at them with widened eyes, putting Tiny next to me before rushing to hug them without a second thought. I could feel how taken aback, they were by my reaction. I didn't care. I wanted comfort more than anything. Their visible arms picked me up gently, stroking my head as I held onto them like my life depended on it. "...I'm so sorry," I whispered behind their faceplate. Their sun rays were hidden inside, explaining why I wasn't punctured.
"There's nothing for you to apologise for, our little star. You haven't done anything wrong." Moon stood next to Sun.
"But I've caused so much trouble! I-I annoyed everyone on stage. Monty is mad at me, and Freddy is probably mad at me for not answering him. If I hadn't stopped eating, none of this would've happened! Aaron must be in so much trouble with the higher-ups! Oh, gods!"
They turned to look at me, their eyes filled with thousands of little stars around their irises.
"Freddy won't get mad at you for not replying to him. He's a very patient bear. He knows enough to know that you're struggling." Moon placed a few drawings on the kitchen counter as Sun sat down, leaning to get a closer look. They were signed by the animatronics.
Thankfully, Sun spread out the pages for me to see them individually. A colourful page was full of different food emojis by Chica. The next was a portrait of Roxy. Both said, 'These are my favourite foods. What are yours?' and 'You deserve to love yourself.' And lastly, it was a portrait of me. It looked a little rough with the pencil, but I loved the sketching style. It was written at the bottom, 'The other bots and I miss your presence. You can always talk to me if you need anything." Signed by Freddy.
I picked up the portrait and looked at it with a small smile. I missed the wheeled bots too. I missed waving at Map Bot and giving everyone pats on the head. My routine will be paused for some time, but hopefully, I will see everyone again soon.
"Aren't they sweet, Moon?" Sun asked. Moon replied with a light hum while turning a light behind the induction fan. He was going to make some food. "Y/n, what would you like? Do you have a preference?"
I put the drawing back on the counter as I ran my fingers at the sleeve ends of my hoodie. "I like these vegetarian sausage rolls, but they don't sell them here, I don't think. I love pasta, though! As long as it isn't slimy or too chewy. I recommend adding cream after draining the pasta and some broccoli pieces. Including a little bit of salt and pepper to balance the flavours."
Tiny crawled onto the counter with my devices on him as I spoke, leaving them out for me.
I thanked him with a nod before grabbing my headphones and putting them on. The soft leather covering my ears gave me a slight shiver due to how cold they were. Before turning on my phone, I put it on silent for the number of notifications I would receive. It only took half a minute before the device came to life. I immediately went to my music playlist and played something soft, like Indie music. Beach Weather's music became a huge trend, so I listened to one of their albums as I held onto Sun.
"...What are your pronouns?" I asked while looking at everyone, lifting one side of the headphones to listen.
"I go by he, she, and they." Sundrop piped in with a smile, "And Moon's pronouns are he and they. Tiny Music Man here goes by 'he and him.'"
"That's really kind of you to ask," Moon replied as he poured boiling water into a pot. "A lot of coworkers tend to use 'it' like we're things... It's nice to have someone who's not like them."
I gave them a small smile before leaning on Sun's shoulder again, drifting to listen to music. I couldn't help but scroll through the message notifications, mostly from Freddy and Aaron. The latest from the bear caught my attention, though. It read, 'I hope you like the portrait I made for you. I tried to capture how I view you, but It didn't do it justice.'
I felt like lemon yellow again.
