Two true stories ....

If Eddie were  play The Good Nurse, it would not be the first time he plays a character from a true story. The Savage Grace, played after Like Minds, the first film where he played a disturbed student named Alex Forbes, is the story  of Anthony Baekeland, son of Barbara Daly Baekeland, an actress who was killed by his son in 1972.  At the time the history caused quite a stir especially for the incest between mother and son.

The Savage Grace, interpretato dopo Like Minds, primo film dove interpretava un disturbato Studente di nome Alex Forbes, e’ la storia Anthony Baekeland, figlio di Barbara Daly Baekeland, attrice che venne uccisa dal figlio nel 1972.

Eddie Redmayne could, I hope, play the nurse Charles Cullen who instead was a real serial Killer, called, “The Angel of Death”, who is suspected of the death of 400 people. I think it's a beautiful role and very introspective, finally set in the current era where Eddie will once again show his immense and great talent,  as in roles previously interpreted in Like Minds, Hick, etc where he always managed to play  to enhance the dark side of the character modeling it on himself.

Eddie Redmayne potrebbe, lo spero, interpretare  l’infermiere Charles Cullen che e’ invece stato un vero e proprio serial Killer, chiamato, l’angelo della morte, che e’ sospettato della morte di 400 persone.Credo che sia un ruolo bellissimo e molto introspettivo, ambientato finalmente in epoca attuale dove Eddie dara’ ancora una volta dimostrazione del suo immenso e grande talento.come  nei  ruoli precedentemente interpretati in  Like Minds, Hick, etc dove  e’ sempre riuscito a interpretare ad esaltare la parte oscura del personaggio modellandolo  su se stesso.

I just wanted you all to know that the true reason for Antony have gotten crazy and killed his mother Barbara is because his true and only love, Cay, is dead. All of that story about forced incest is a lie, just Hollywood drama. And I know it because I am Antony, and I'm writing this from my cell on the jail. Cay, I will never forget you. Nor you, nor your sweet voice, nor your beautiful Marilyn Monroe style hair. Someday we'll meet again, when I'm dead and my soul flies away to the Garden of Delights. All of my love. Your Tony.
