Da un decennio, presenta spettacoli che affascinano e ipnotizzano il pubblico, in Italia e all’estero, riscuotendo grandissimo successo in paesi quali Brasile, Colombia, Israele, Grecia, Hong Kong, Macao.
Fondata a Roma nel 2008 dall’artista americano Anthony Heinl (già membro di Momix), la compagnia deve la sua fama alla creazione di performance innovative e, grazie al sapiente mix fra tecnologia ed arte, crea esperienze visive uniche e coinvolgenti.
Night Garden unisce l’arte, la danza e le doti acrobatiche dei ballerini alla magia delle ambientazioni tratte dal fantastico mondo della natura notturna. Il verde delle foglie si mescola all’oscurità delle ombre e Madre Natura dirige col movimento la sua orchestra fatata dando vita ai colori e generando corpi celesti. Nebbia, riti propiziatori e pratiche oniriche animeranno poi nuovamente la scena riempiendo gli occhi presenti in sala di visioni che stimoleranno l’assopita fantasia.
Questo e tanto altro è in grado di regalare Night Garden. Le tracce musicali, che spaziano dai Massive Attack ai Radiohead, da Joni Mitchell ai Darkside, contribuiscono a creare l’atmosfera di Night Garden, un sogno a occhi aperti dalle tinte crepuscolari. Inventiva, leggiadria, talento e sorpresa colorano lo spettacolo dotando di carattere e di luce le ombre della notte. La natura prende vita quando gli uomini si abbandonano al riposo serale e, raccontata nel tempo da poeti, pellicole e spartiti musicali, qui domina nuovamente le scene su un palcoscenico che l’accoglie a notte fonda nella sua veste più luminosa.
Lo spettacolo è diretto e coreografato da Anthony Heinl – suo anche il disegno luci – assistito dalla coreografa Nadessja Casavecchia. I costumi sono di Maria Cristina Battista. In scena oltre agli stessi Heinl e Casavecchia, anche Bruno Batisti, Lavinia Scott, Giuseppe Liuzzo, Carlotta Stassi, Antonella Abbate e Matteo Crisafulli. Lo spettacolo sarà nuovamente in scena a Fabriano, al Teatro Gentile, il 15 marzo.

Anthony L. Liuzzo, professor of business and economics at Wilke University, predicts a three percent increase in holiday spending on retail purchases in 2012. Liuzzi, making its forecasts for holiday retail sales for more than 20 years, during its annual analysis tracks consumer trends and consumer behavior.
In drawing up his forecast for 2012, Liuzzi notes that the optimism that will be observed after the elections will have a positive impact, regardless of who wins by the results of the vote. "There is some optimism on the part of the voters, referring to their habits with regard to spending on retail purchases. Consumer confidence should rise in the period immediately after the elections, "writes Liuzzi.
Thanksgiving this year comes very early, on November 22, and the shopping season becomes 32 days long, the longest of all possible. This season of purchases will increase the volume of retail sales. Christmas, falling out in 2012 on Tuesday, is another advantage. Retailers like when Christmas falls on a Sunday or Monday, because purchases begin on the weekend before the holiday. Tuesday is also good. "This means that there will be full five weekends for shopping," writes Liuzzi.
Some other factors hold back positive estimates in Liuzzi's prediction. For example, consumer confidence remains low, as unemployment is held at around 9 percent. The performance of the securities market, although improving, continues to be somewhat vague, explains Liuzzi, as well as other indicators - for example, the continuing stagnation of the housing market. Consumer debt also continues to have a negative impact, and there are still problems associated with high debt on credit cards and bankruptcies. Annual forecasts of Liuzzi on the volumes of holiday retail sales were published in hundreds of newspapers and magazines throughout the United States, including the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Christian Science Monitor and the New York Newsday. He spoke on national radio and local television on many issues, and published articles in CNN, The Detroit News and The Washington Times.

Analysts, retail groups and individual websites all want to make their predictions before the shopping season comes into play, which will happen no sooner than Thanksgiving Day in the United States. The National Retail Federation assumes a small jump of 4 percent in sales in US stores, and electronic sales are expected to improve and grow by 12 percent compared to last year. Taking into account that prices for everything from food to gas have increased, such a small increase is now considered a good result.
But others are somewhat less optimistic. The International Council of Shopping Centers, a trade group selling through major shopping centers, forecasts growth of only 2.9 percent in shopping centers in the United States, and according to ShopperTrak, the Chicago-based analytical agency that counts the number of shop attendees Retail, an increase of 3.3 percent.
