If he had to choose, save mori or shirase?

{--If it was a situation where he absolutely HAD to choose and there was no physically possible way to protect both, and it was primarily just those two in danger, Chuuya would realistically have to prioritize Mori's safety above Shirase's unless given orders from Mori himself otherwise.

Even if he had orders to ignore Mori's safety, it'd be a hard choice for him to make between the two of them (seeing as Mori isn't just his Boss, but like a father figure to Chuuya).

When Chuuya joined the Port Mafia, he swore everything to him. His very life, if that's what he had to give for the sake of the organization. Shirase's and the Sheep's guaranteed safety under the Port Mafia's protection is contingent upon him upholding his oath to always put Mori and the organization first.

Unfortunately, not upholding that oath to protect Shirase instead of Mori would be an act of treason, and he'd be putting all the rest of the Sheep at risk by doing so. Mori was extremely clear about what he expects the leaders of the Port Mafia to do. Be both a leader and a slave to the organization, place people where they are most needed -- and if deemed necessary, discard them. They must be willing to do the unthinkable in order to protect the interests of the organization and protect Yokohama.

Of course, there's a possible loophole there. If Mori dies, Chuuya is the most likely next person to succeed his leadership, which would mean his word on the Sheep's safety would be Law and impossible to challenge, but its not a guarantee.

Its always possible the Executive Council or the organization might opt not to elect him the next leader if the reason for Mori's death was because he purposefully neglected to do his job protecting Mori's life.

Slim of a chance as it may be, he won't risk the possibility of losing BOTH Mori and Shirase, and the rest of the Sheep too, even if he stays distant from them and out of their lives now.

Now, would he hate himself for it? ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY. Regardless of Shirase's hurtful betrayal, that's still his brother at the end of the day. The person who took him under his wing and saved his life after Rimbaud first broke him out of the lab, and saved his life again during the King of Assassins incident.

Getting betrayed by the Sheep, his friends in the Flags dying, and his friends in the Dragon Head Conflict dying? All of those events left him with deep scars that are still there, even if he acts like they're not.

But losing Shirase because he failed to protect him? Like Shirase actually dying? That would be a wound that never heals, considering Shirase basically raised him for the "first" 8 years of his remembered life.--}

Oh, she liked the taste of that, for more than just one reason. Pretty and dangerous was something that was fit to someone like the Agency doctor. But of course, even considering that, there was no way Yosano was going to let the other go without a bit of teasing on her part. After all, the name has its meaning. "Interesting choice. To say Higuchi had not been taken aback would be a lie. Despite her momentarily empty schedule, she was half expecting to be called to a mission any time soon. But that could still be considered one, right? Not exactly the kind of task that was expected to be performed by a mafiosa, but her job wasn't exactly an ordinary one. And she wouldn't be exactly disappointed to take some time shopping and still get paid for that. She gave her phone a quick look just to check if there hadn't been any missing calls or messages. Nothing. It seemed she wasn't necessary. She let out a sigh before putting a smile on her face. "Of course. Do you know where that is? I don't mind taking you there and we can get ice cream after as well." She could ask Chuuya, if she didn't, but she would really rather not call an executive just to ask for directions.

FINAL FANTASY 7: Kyu is a former Deepground project participant, and akin to her fandomless info Shiki is the reason she's free to begin with! Currently she's a member of Avalanche and a radio host focused on talk show aspects & propaganda against Shinra!

JUJUTSU KAISEN: Kyu is a 2nd year at Tokyo Tech here! Her Cursed technique and Domain Expansion both have to do with Technology [I need to go and find it again tbh]!

BUNGOU STRAY DOGS: I wrote up a brief summary for it but she's kinda like Chuuya in a way she's housing a literal calamity [Tamamo-o-mae] but she never remembers it and is currently working towards a degree at college! (considering she just started-)

BLEACH: A vizard from the 8th Division! She was turned pretty young so she doesn't really recall much, but she does hang out with the other Vizards and assists in training Ichigo when he goes to them. (this one's a WIP sO-)

TWISTED WONDERLAND: Here! Kyu is a 2nd year in Ignihyde! She's an allusion on Vanellope Von Schweetz from Wreck it ralph! While she's also a student at Night Raven, Kyu is also a magicam influencer and model!

I have other verses [Genshin, FFXV, My hero Academia--] but these ones have a bit of a concrete idea! As for ones I can't see Kyu in? I dunno, not many come to mind except for Fullmetal Alchemist, while I adore that series she would stick out like a sore thumb in my opinion and I'd rather not have that.~

7. How has your muse changed over time? How different are they from when you first started writing them?

{--I'd say that in some ways Chuuya has changed a lot and in others he's stayed entirely the same.

@starsburned is obviously responsible for me picking up Chuuya because they first picked up Dazai as kind of a joke muse and were like "*gets on one knee* be my Chuuya?" so ofc I agreed... but his muse wasn't really there at first (and pretty grumpy when I did manage to drag him out... ofc I would be too if the only reason you were around was to interact with mfing Dazai all the time lmfao).

I started to get more of a grasp of him though little by little, watched more seasons of BSD, and ofc started diving into some of his side-content like Stormbringer.

Some things definitely never change. Chuuya is still pretty grumpy about a lot of things (but mostly Dazai), he's still very stubborn, and he still likes to try and fight Dazai at every turn and gets an aneurysm just thinking about his existence... though he has cooled off a bit on kicking his ass nearly so much.

I think of it kind of like... improperly introducing two mean cats to each other and now they're more used to each other so the beatings happen a little less often when they cross paths. But they still happen. We've moved on from broken ribs and bloody noses every week to a few bruised ribs every month and mean-mugging each other from across the room, so... progress! lmao

And of course Chuuya having a regular Yuan and Shirase to interact with and re-connect with some of the Sheep is obv a huge turning point on his development. The betrayal of the Sheep is obviously a huge part of what makes Chuuya, Chuuya -- but its something that arguably negatively affected his mental state at times more, whereas he's definitely seen a few more positive improvements getting to have his psuedo-siblings back!

Even if Yuan and Chuuya are constantly at odds about Yuan shagging Dazai LMFAO. Its fine, they'll probably work that out eventually... maybe... (probably not).--}

Dazai had gotten sick, and to not spread it through the Agency, he's been staying home and resting. However, he wasn't expecting Kunikida to visit him. He thought the man would steer clear of him.. Or if he did visit-- just check in to see if he was faking his illness or not...

The detective was laying on his couch with an arm draped over his eyes. "You don't have to worry about me. I was gonna cook my own food. You shouldn't be here, you'll get sick," Dazai spoke as he forced himself up, his head spinning.

He massaged his temples and groaned. "My kitchen though is just past the door, right there," he said, pointing to an opening in his home where there was tile and a kitchen.

The doctor allowed a smile to turn her lips up. Well, fun for her could be anything from simply shopping to any other more gruesome activity. And not everyone in the Agency would understand that side of her, she wouldn't expect them to. Perhaps her penchant to the morbid was what attracted her to the career of a physician and not her ability itself, despite the fact that it weighted in her favour.

"Oh, c'mon, don't leave me waiting. What is it that you're planning?" She asked resting her face on her hand. The day at the Agency had been rather quiet, so there wasn't any reason not take some time off if needed.

Could it be that her ears did not deceive her this time, that the feeling of her heart skipping just before its acceleration had not been for nothing more than just her own delusions? She knew he would not lie to her, it was not like him to do so. And yet her own mind was a hindrance, her worst enemy. Whispering all her insecurities in her ear, overflowing with self hatred and sowing doubts that would not easily let go of her, gnawing at the back of her mind like a hungry beast.

His words were warmth, keeping the cold air away. And yet, she wanted to question herself, if she hadn't been reading too much into it. Of course she meant something. She was useful. No, she wasn't. But he wouldn't say it if she wasn't. It was a vicious circle of skepticism and lack of confidence and it took her eveything in her to push all the bad thoughts away, knowing they were would be lurking, waiting to lash out again, as soon as she lowered her guard. "I lov--" She almost did it, replied with the wrong words. At least she stopped herself in the last possible second before things got out of her control. "You don't know how happy this makes me... You mean a lot to me as well." More than he could possibly imagine.

If it had been up to her, not one cent would be wasted in keeping her alive, even more in such pitiful state, with barely any chance for recover. All the money wasted to keep her almost corpse, clinging to life, should be put to better use. So gratitude would not be the exact word she would use to express her feelings towards the Guild's leader at the moment, even if now her state had improved considerably. But her aversion towards such decision did not extend to any of the former -- or current -- members of the Guild. And the tactician's advice aside, Fitzgerald always did what he wanted in the end.

And initially, she had came to talk to him, considering everything she was feeling and should be feeling about being back since the moment she started to get herself dressed up to her arrival at the Guild's new base. And judging by how well the organization seemed to be going, it almost didn't seem as if they've lost the war.

She should've guessed Louisa would be there, loyal as ever. Probably the most loyal amongst them, judging by how most had just abandoned the ship the moment the war was lost, even if for different reasons. "Louisa! It's good to see you." Despite the reasons that had reunited them once more.
