His gaze wanders from the scenery to Yuan at his side, and its a rare moment when his normally sharp, hard eyes are soft with specially reserved affection.

Yuan looked beautiful -- glowing, even -- under the amber hues of the early winter sunset catching off of every line, but more than that, he noticed how much healthier she was looking, some of the weight that had returned to her after he'd been making sure she eats right, her face no longer looking so sunken and tired from grief over a man that never deserved her tears.

He still had some reservations about her dating a member of the mafia (again, for the third time), but at least this time it was someone who wasn't so personally responsible for damaging both of their lives the way Dazai had ; the way he had almost destroyed her with his faked "death".

And at least it was someone to distract her from that spiral of self-destruction, so he could live with that, for so long as it didn't cause Yuan any harm. He would always want to protect his sister from any hurts the cruel world they lived in was ready to inflict.

He couldn't claim to be perfect himself, or that he was necessarily what was best for her either, but at the end of the day, he just wanted to see her happy.

Happy and safe.

Part of her already imagined that this would be his reaction. One could not work as someone's bodyguard & assistant as long as herself and remain unaware of how his mind worked. If she had to guess, perhaps, if he could choose, he would rather not have her see him like that. But she's been through the good and bad and certainly had seen him in worst conditions. Higuchi was always the one to pick him up, from whatever state he had been left in. It was her job. And better be her than anyone else. The Mafia was not a welcoming place. And, if he didn't hold such power, maybe he would've been disposed of a while ago. People whose health was fragile didn't last long there.

"Of course I have. It's my job." It really was, even if that wasn't the only reason for her to insist on staying, med kit in hand. Higuchi had been there when he got hurt and would continue to be at his side until there was nothing more she could do to help. Or he kicked her out.

There's definitely a few things that come to mind, lol.

But to keep it brief, I do like that you no longer have to manually switch to HTML and paste the <small> into the code anymore - you used to have to do that if you wanted small text and depending on the length of your post or inputting one <small> too many, it could be end up being a real nightmare. Tumblr's new post editor allows you to skip all that and just make it possible with the click of a button. As a small text adopter from early on, it's a lifesaver.

In terms of actual RP culture, you can certainly correct me if I'm wrong and maybe this is me speaking within the admittedly limited lens of the Persona RPC, but drama seems to have significantly chilled out - I can count on one hand the number of callout posts I've seen circulating in just this year alone and even less people who reblog them - and this isn't me condemning callout posts themselves - maybe you've got a valid reason and the person in question is a genuinely dangerous person or someone you've got legitimate grievances with - but I feel that a few years ago, people used to be much more trigger happy with drama and willing to air out their private drama, friend groups splintering and arguments with people - all things that from what I saw, seemed like they could have just as well stayed private and just between the people involved and seemed to serve no purpose beyond just creating drama and potentially trying to run people out of the fandom. I'm definitely not sad for the decline of callout posts.

Oh, she liked the taste of that, for more than just one reason. Pretty and dangerous was something that was fit to someone like the Agency doctor. But of course, even considering that, there was no way Yosano was going to let the other go without a bit of teasing on her part. After all, the name has its meaning. "Interesting choice. Do you also think I'm a pretty woman, Yuan?"

She wasn't very used to nicknames, it wasn't something that her family practiced. It was either Margaret or worse, her full name, when they were especially angry with her. But now that Lucy said it aloud, perhaps she could get used to that. "Should I call you Lu, then?"

FINAL FANTASY 7: Kyu is a former Deepground project participant, and akin to her fandomless info Shiki is the reason she's free to begin with! Currently she's a member of Avalanche and a radio host focused on talk show aspects & propaganda against Shinra!

JUJUTSU KAISEN: Kyu is a 2nd year at Tokyo Tech here! Her Cursed technique and Domain Expansion both have to do with Technology [I need to go and find it again tbh]!

BUNGOU STRAY DOGS: I wrote up a brief summary for it but she's kinda like Chuuya in a way she's housing a literal calamity [Tamamo-o-mae] but she never remembers it and is currently working towards a degree at college! (considering she just started-)

BLEACH: A vizard from the 8th Division! She was turned pretty young so she doesn't really recall much, but she does hang out with the other Vizards and assists in training Ichigo when he goes to them. (this one's a WIP sO-)

TWISTED WONDERLAND: Here! Kyu is a 2nd year in Ignihyde! She's an allusion on Vanellope Von Schweetz from Wreck it ralph! While she's also a student at Night Raven, Kyu is also a magicam influencer and model!

I have other verses [Genshin, FFXV, My hero Academia--] but these ones have a bit of a concrete idea! As for ones I can't see Kyu in? I dunno, not many come to mind except for Fullmetal Alchemist, while I adore that series she would stick out like a sore thumb in my opinion and I'd rather not have that.~

To say Higuchi had not been taken aback would be a lie. Despite her momentarily empty schedule, she was half expecting to be called to a mission any time soon. But that could still be considered one, right? Not exactly the kind of task that was expected to be performed by a mafiosa, but her job wasn't exactly an ordinary one. And she wouldn't be exactly disappointed to take some time shopping and still get paid for that. She gave her phone a quick look just to check if there hadn't been any missing calls or messages. Nothing. It seemed she wasn't necessary. She let out a sigh before putting a smile on her face. "Of course. Do you know where that is? I don't mind taking you there and we can get ice cream after as well." She could ask Chuuya, if she didn't, but she would really rather not call an executive just to ask for directions.

Dazai had gotten sick, and to not spread it through the Agency, he's been staying home and resting. However, he wasn't expecting Kunikida to visit him. He thought the man would steer clear of him.. Or if he did visit-- just check in to see if he was faking his illness or not...

The detective was laying on his couch with an arm draped over his eyes. "You don't have to worry about me. I was gonna cook my own food. You shouldn't be here, you'll get sick," Dazai spoke as he forced himself up, his head spinning.

He massaged his temples and groaned. "My kitchen though is just past the door, right there," he said, pointing to an opening in his home where there was tile and a kitchen.

The doctor allowed a smile to turn her lips up. Well, fun for her could be anything from simply shopping to any other more gruesome activity. And not everyone in the Agency would understand that side of her, she wouldn't expect them to. Perhaps her penchant to the morbid was what attracted her to the career of a physician and not her ability itself, despite the fact that it weighted in her favour.

"Oh, c'mon, don't leave me waiting. What is it that you're planning?" She asked resting her face on her hand. The day at the Agency had been rather quiet, so there wasn't any reason not take some time off if needed.
