The end of this season will be Anne and Gilbert realizing their feelings for eachother. They’ll go their separate ways, but it’ll be implied they’ll come back for eachother. If there is a season 4, it’ll be a time jump to after queens.

🥕 Do you remember who your first literary crush was? The character that really captured your heart. For me it was Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables. I loved how resilient, optimistic, and romantic she was. I also fell in love with Gilbert Blythe later on in the series. He’s definitely my first romantic book crush. I usually try to reread the first 3-4 books in the series at least once a year through audiobook. The versions narrated my Mary Sarah are the best. And for movie/tv adaptations, nothing beats the 1985 Megan Follows version.
