The gesture comes as Ankita faces backlash for talking about Sushant Singh Rajput in the Bigg Boss house. In an interview with Galatta India, Ankita's mother, Vandana, defended her daughter's actions while talking about the depth of Ankita and Sushant's relationship. Vandana revealed, "Ankita and Sushant lived together for seven years in this house with me. She truly loved him."  She further highlighted that Ankita never initiated discussions about Sushant, responding only when prompted by others. Vandana expressed pride in Ankita's positive statements about Sushant, asserting that Ankita maintains a connection with Sushant's family.

Readers may recall that after a brief visit to the Bigg Boss house to motivate the couple, Vicky Jain's mother accused Ankita of using Sushant's name to garner sympathy. In an interview with Saas Bahu Saazish, she remarked, "Ankita has been naming Sushant. Looks like she is trying to gain sympathy for herself. Sushant is anyway gone."

Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput, who shared a seven-year relationship, made their acting debut together in Pavitra Rishta before parting ways.

'Pavitra Rishta Season 2.0' has a new trailer, and it has Ankita giddy with anticipation.

Shaheer Sheikh and Ankita are the stars of the popular hindi web series. Shaheer will play Manav, and Ankita will play Archana in the movie.
