A game without a setting whose goal is simple : Play a shonen, any shonen, be they real or invented ( like the Magical girls that transform into vikings I played). Or Cross your fav franchise together. With a simple system of gimmicks, a bento box section for creating your own setting, and tha actual format of a manga. Not yet translated into english

As someone on the demi spectrum, I frequently have to remind myself that most anime fans are not merely appreciating the aesthetics of that teenager with huge tits and a skimpy outfit, and are, in fact, Being Weird About It.™️

In fact, I'm beginning to suspect that allosexuals may not possess the ability to just.. not be attracted to sexualized depictions of teenagers.

Seeing all that Gruvia hate from Nalu, Jerza and now Zervis stans on Twitter is literaly just one big nest of hipocrisy and toxicity. I've never blocked that many people in one day. Jeez...And all of that happended just because they were mad for Gruvia being closer to canon that other two👁️👁️(even tho Jerza made big progress. Hello?)

The best thing is the the tweet all this shit originated from was just pal being confused on Nalu and Jerza not being canon yet...Eh, that's fandom for you...

I honestly prefer the sexism of naruto to the sexism of one piece idk. This is clown behavior of me because both series has their issues, but like at least the women in naruto all look incredibly unique. I’m starting to really get annoyed by how every one piece woman has the same body type + slightly different face variation 

I do think trying to point fingers and go “NO THIS SERIES IS WORSE!!!” is incredibly stupid, cus BOTH series have draw backs when it comes to the depiction of women. All I’m saying is that I think prefer the brand of sexism naruto has, because sometimes you can forget that it’s there, but then spend hours getting made when you think about the series retrospectively. With one piece there’s a lot more of “oh look at these dainty women doing dainty things hohoho” even tho Nami has had a lot of incredibly bad ass moments. Again. A lot to love and a lot to hate.

Ohh, it’s based off of a phrase attributed to Hayao Miyazaki— from what I can tell the quote is either fake or completely taken out of context. He does express some disappointment in characteristics of anime in the industry.

I use it mostly as a joke. That’s my tag, like my Dean Winchester tag is ‘little green toy soldier’.

I don’t adore all anime— I personally dislike a lot of things right off the bat about it like the level of perviness where I really wasn’t in the mood to witness it or same-face protagonists that have crazy pointy chins that no human actually has, or being boring. But those are things I either live with and ignore or that turn me away from that particular anime only.

I can’t really say I don’t watch it, as it comes naturally with dating my boyfriend 😛
