Cane is looking in at all of the noisy arguing… and he is ducking back out. You don’t fix a firestorm by tossing in matches. The best thing to do is let Rin and Marsha figure out to play on opposite sides of the playground in the future.

Cane would say hitting someone for saying something you don’t like isn’t right, but. He’s done it before to Yo Han. He threw a rock before, so he can’t throw blame now. Being a person is complicated and sometimes people do things without thinking when they’re feeling big emotions. Apologies are needed on all ends of a hurtful four way stop. And neither Rin nor Marsha really apologize without someone telling them to. Which isn’t how apologies are supposed to be done.
