About Gus' personality, the things I want to portrait from now on.🐻👍
Tumblr media
🐥(I've been writing Gus so soft and sweet... Like he's all love and rainbows xddd)
So I think there's gotta be a change made. From now on I'm going to write Gus a little differently and I'm proud to say that I'll lean a little on Yasu's personality (from the anime called Nana) and Mother's Milk (from the boys):
He has a soft side like a big care bear but can be fierce when it comes to protect his loved ones. I based this on the fact that for the player to unlock him, they must make a number of assists.
He's very polite and knows how to approach people often stopping fights and helping other recruits integrate. It also shows on the way he fights being the perfect support for anyone who requires his help.
Gus is a little socially constipated. Even if he loves to talk to people he always feels slightly off with big and/or imposing groups of people so he tries not to stand off. Once he's a little nervous he starts ticking: will struggle to speak in english, play with a scrunchie, bounce his leg but mostly he will eat gum.
His family lives in Costa Rica, so he was taught to cook a variety of things. Gus has a huge passion for cooking, often volunteering to cook for any hungry person willing to eat a big amount of anything.
I know I used to write Gus as a shy UwU boy when he has a crush, but as I was playing the game i couldn't help but think that I didn't put that flirty and charming nature he has in-game, of course I'll still make him a bit shy and boyish but I'll be more aware of this detail next time.

ʙᴇꜰᴏʀᴇ ᴄᴏᴍɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ʙʟᴜᴇ ʜᴀʀʙᴏʀ, ɪʟʟɪɴᴏɪꜱ…
For the first five years of Franca Delfina Oliveira's life, she grew up in Salvadar, Bahia, Brazil with her parents, Rafael and Bruna Oliveira, and her older sister, Beatriz. Both of her parents were massive animal and nature lovers and held careers in helping the planet. The couple had always wanted to start up their own conservation organization after working with a wide variety of them in their home of Salvador. And so, after moving to the States when their daughters were young, they began to work towards making their life-long dream come true.
ᴀꜰᴛᴇʀ ᴄᴏᴍɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ʙʟᴜᴇ ʜᴀʀʙᴏʀ, ɪʟʟɪɴᴏɪꜱ…
The Bahia Wildlife Sanctuary has been opened since 2004, and Franca's whole world had been the sanctuary and the Oliveira family farm. Growing up and knowing what she wanted to do, she eventually earned her Wildlife Conservation degree through Unity Environmental University distant learning, spending those years traveling around the globe and volunteering for a wide variety of organizations, especially those for wildlife and conservation efforts. After earning her degree, she moved to Denver full-time and spent twenty-four months getting her vet tech degree from Bel Rea Vet Tech school. She got a job as a vet tech at the Denver Aquarium, working there for a year until, at the age of twenty-four, her mother died from a heart attack. Resulting in her returning back to Blue Harbor and spending the past two years working as a vet tech at the sanctuary and even getting a second, part-time job at Earthwave for an extra income. In fall of 2024, she officially started part-time schooling at Blue Harbor University so that she could earn her masters in Zoology.

🦥ꜱᴏᴍᴇ Qᴜɪᴄᴋ ꜰᴀᴄᴛꜱ & ᴛɪᴅʙɪᴛꜱ
🦜While Franca had been living in Denver, the aquarium saved a truck full of animals from a poaching ring. One of those animals ended up being a Scarlet macaw. The bird had lost half of its left wing from the time it'd been taken from Costa Rica to Denver, and Franca had been in charge of taking care of her. The two became bonded and now, Iria the Macaw is under Franca's care. The two are rarely apart from each other.
🦜She had a reputation throughout her schoolyears as being the "Animal Lover Girl", always ready to talk about anyone and everyone about animals and better ways to help the planet. She even started up an Earth Club in high school. Not many people joined it, however.
🦜While her family has always been comfortable money-wise, they're not rich. All of their money has been put into the sanctuary and farm, ensuring that the animals and plants had the best care possible. They live in a fairly reasonable sized log cabin that they worked on themselves, and through the help of friends and extended family members whenever they visited from Brazil.
🦜With that being said, the Oliveiras made sure to visit their home country at least three times a year: Carnaval season, the middle of summer, and around Christmas. Staying connected to their family and culture is highly important to them, though they've been struggling to do so since Franca's mother passed.
🦜The farm is home to four horses, ten cows, a herd of sheep, three goats, five chickens and a rooster, two cats, two dogs, and a pond full of freshwater fish and frogs. They live next to the river and are about a ten minute walk, three minute drive, from the sanctuary.
🦜Along with Iria, Franca is the happy animal mama of Dulce the iguana, Bruna the guinea pig, and Philip the grandpa dark calico cat. And yes, she understands how rare Philip is. But no, she refuses to sell him. She either rescued or adopted all of her babies and loves them all greatly.
🦜Franca is primarily a vegan, but will sometimes adjust to a pescatarian diet every now and then.
🦜She is a certified adventure guide, having earned her certificate through Pure Explorations after partaking in their Nepal Adventure Guide Program.
🦜Summer after she graduated from high school and before she went off to Nepal (as mentioned above), she'd been able to go to Alaska for awhile to participate in Girls On Ice (now known as Inspiring Girls Expeditions): a mountaineering expedition with an alpine ecosystems focus.
🦜As mentioned in her bio, she participated in both SEAmester and Semester at Sea. She spent her fall semester with the first study abroad program, sailing from the Mediterranean, across the Atlantic, before making her way to the Caribbean. For Semester at Sea, she journeyed to Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, India), Africa (Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Morocco), and Europe (Spain and Germany). I have a wc in mind for an ex-lover that she had been on both voyages with that became her biggest "what if", if anyone's interested!
🦜The best way to describe Franca's style is "hippie, granola girl with Brazilian and global touches". She loves brands like Wondery, Inkkas, FARM Rio, Sandcloud, Fahlo bracelets, Live Your Legend bracelets, Pura Vida bracelets, and others that's all about the great outdoors that has conservation efforts and that are connected to her culture and other cultures that she's able to appreciate. This will be further touched on in other posts.

They certainly spoil the sloths at the Costa Rica Animal Rescue Center! This one looks like they're having a spa day or doing an artistic photoshoot as "Sloth Ophelia".
All joking aside, let's appreciate all the dedicated e staff and volunteers at this rescue centre. They tirelessly help wild animals like this young sloth get healthy enough to return to the wild. This centre is not a petting zoo and is a proper rescue centre where animal welfare is prioritised. I was very disappointed to learn that the original Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica is basically a prison for healthy sloths where they are held captive for tourists to take photos with them. If you go to Costa Rica, please research the philosophy behind the different rescue centres and give your business to ones that help keep wildlife in the wild!

muses — lola torres & @fearhidden
location — the apartment
Lola considered herself a bit of a nomad. She was lucky enough to come from a family of money, but without the pressures of expectations. Her parents were creatives, but the rare kind that were tremendously successful. Mr. Torres was a film director and Mrs. Torres was his muse. The two were simply happy with Lola staying out of the limelight, they didn't mind much else what she did with her time. For a minute, she tried art school out in Europe. Then, she moved to Costa Rica to volunteer at an animal sanctuary. She once spent a couple months at a yoga retreat in Thailand. But, she always found herself back in this little town up in Maine. Once she discovered it and met him, she always found an excuse to visit for a couple of days. She'd spend about 48 hours with him in a row, staying up all night talking about their hopes and dreams. There was something intoxicating about it. Lola felt like she might have known him better than anyone in her life, yet they never spent more than a couple days at a time together, until now. It was suppose to be a week, only a week, before she headed up to Canada for who knows how long. The call only came today, the day before she was suppose to head out, leaving her with no plan. She heard the door open. Her teeth chew on the end of her pen as she watched him enter the living room where she was balled up on the couch. "Okay, so, how would you feel if I stayed a couple of more days?" Lola added a giggle in hopes it didn't sound too crazy. She could always get a hotel - it wouldn't be a problem. But perhaps they were pushing this thing they had, perhaps it only worked with the mystery of its ephemerality. "My whole plan kind of crumbled." She shrugged with an endearing smile.

Beyond the Tourist Trail: Dive Deep with Immersive Travel
Travel brochures and social media feeds showcase idyllic beaches and iconic landmarks, promising a perfect vacation. But for many travelers, the desire for a more profound experience is growing. This is where Immersive Travel steps in, offering a chance to go beyond the postcard and truly connect with a destination.
What is Immersive Travel?
Immersive travel is about stepping off the well-trodden tourist path and engaging with a place in a meaningful way. It's about becoming a temporary resident, immersing yourself in the local culture, and forging genuine connections. This can involve learning a new skill, volunteering your time, or simply slowing down and savoring the everyday rhythms of a place.
Instead of ticking off landmarks on a list, immersive travel focuses on experiences. Imagine yourself kneading dough with a Nonna in a sun-drenched Italian kitchen, learning the secrets of her family's pasta sauce recipe. Or picture yourself volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary in Costa Rica, helping to care for injured animals and learning about the vital role they play in the ecosystem. These types of experiences create lasting memories and a deeper understanding of the place you're visiting.
The Benefits of Immersing Yourself
There are numerous benefits to be reaped from choosing the immersive travel path.
Authentic Connections: By engaging with locals and participating in their daily lives, you gain a richer understanding of the culture. You'll move beyond stereotypical portrayals and discover the heart and soul of a place through genuine interactions.
Personal Growth: Immersing yourself in a new environment can be a catalyst for personal growth. Learning a new skill, overcoming a language barrier, or volunteering your time can all push you outside your comfort zone and build resilience.
Sustainable Practices: Immersive travel often aligns with sustainable practices. By supporting locally-owned businesses, staying in homestays, and participating in eco-friendly activities, you contribute to the well-being of the destination and its people.
Memorable Experiences: Forget the fleeting snapshots; immersive travel creates memories that stay with you long after you return home. The sights, sounds, smells, and tastes become ingrained in your senses, forming a much richer tapestry of experience.
How to Craft Your Immersive Journey
1. Define Your Interests: The first step is to identify your passions. Are you a foodie yearning to learn the art of French pâtisserie? Or perhaps an adventurer drawn to the challenge of trekking through the Himalayas with a local guide? Aligning your trip with your interests ensures a more fulfilling experience.
2. Research & Plan Deeply: Dig deeper than the usual travel guides. Look for local festivals, workshops, or volunteering opportunities that resonate with you. Connect with local businesses and guides on social media, and consider homestays over big chain hotels.
3. Embrace the Pace of Life: Immersive travel thrives on slowness. Resist the urge to cram your itinerary. Allow yourself time to wander, get lost, and truly appreciate the present moment. Embrace the unexpected encounters and detours that can lead to the most enriching experiences.
4. Be Open and Respectful: Immersive travel requires an open mind and a respectful heart. Be willing to adapt to unfamiliar customs and traditions. Learn a few basic phrases in the local language, and dress modestly when necessary.
Immersive travel isn't just about visiting a place; it's about forging a connection with it. So, ditch the tourist script and embrace the opportunity to become a temporary local. You might just discover a whole new world waiting to be explored.

Hiro hums softly, a hand stroking over his lower abdomen where their mate's pup grew. "We may have been drunk that night but I think we all knew what we were doing, at least our animal side did. I don't believe in councidences. I think that we've always meant to find each other and be mates, the four of us." He says as he continues to rub King's belly. "Your marks, this baby, it's all proof that we were meant to be with Micah and Callum." He says as he kisses his temple. "You're right, I am in love with them. I've loved Micah for as long as I can remember, since we were kids, you know? I never acted on it other than that one time we took each other's virginities but the feelings were always there. But something just felt off so I didn't pursue it. It was because I needed to find you, he needed to find Callum. Micah and I never would have been complete without you two. I truly believe that." He says as he cuddles him closer. "I love you so much. King. Everything is going to change when they get here but I know in my heart it's going to be so much better when they are."
Tumblr media
Micah hums when Callum said none of his other pregnancies caused such chronic fatigue. "I'm pretty sure it's because the baby's father is in Japan. I think once we get back to Hiro and King that alot of your symptoms will go away." He says softly "I feel it too. The tug, the pain. That night, we mated with them, I think. It was in the heat of the moment but I think we all knew what we were doing even without the alcohol." He says kissing his husband before smirking when he jumps up. "Grab whatever you can't leave behind, my love, our flight leaves in an hour. Warren and Austin just got back from Costa Rica and Warren volunteered to fly us to Japan since he has a private untraceable jet." He says before the two of them grab the things they absolutely couldn't leave behind and head out the door to meet Warren and head to Japan.

New Opportunities and Hard Decisions
Tumblr media
Hiro was at a crossroads career wise and he wasn't sure how to feel about the offer that he just got. The thought of going back to Japan was a bit nerve wracking for Hiro since he hadn't been back since his pack died years ago and he was adopted by Joon. He knee that the Tokyo pack was larger and had plenty of protection from the warlocks and Fae in the area and that nephilim in Tokyo were Pro-Downworlder like the nephilim in New Orleans, New York, and LA but the memories attached to the small village a couple of hours south of Tokyo was what left him unsettled. He spoke at length with his dad and his best friend, Micah, who thought the opportunity was too good to pass up despite his reservations about returning to Japan. He hadn't talked to King since he received the offer. He was so lost in thought he almost didn't hear King get home. He was at the table, his head in his hands as he mulled over the option. "Hey, hani." He says giving King a small smile. "Come sit down. I need to talk to you about something kinda important."

Politique : La protection animale
https://www.ifaw.org/fr/projets/habitat-amboseli-tsavo-kilimandjaro
Politics : Animal protection
I recently thought about my trip to Hong Kong in 2012. I had gone to do volunteer work for the environment. A strong journey with many emotions. Incredible landscape and culture so different from mine but at the same time there are similar things. I was 22 years old, a suitcase and a backpack. A trip you will never forget in your life. It makes us more human because we bring in people from elsewhere with values and principles. My heart and my head still vividly remember certain passages.
However, we were not there to be on vacation but to volunteer. Why ? To save the sharks that we fished to recover their skins and make lipstick. At that time, we were taking to the streets to demonstrate with “Animal protection” signs, I remember this action because it was very hot. The humidity made the walk difficult but not harder than climbing the Chinese wall... My body was struggling with the heat but it was bearable. We took a long walk before stopping and watching the impact of our action: some people were stopped. So when we get together, we can make things happen.
Why talk about all this? For the protection of endangered animals due to animal hunting. Here are some sites that help against animal control:
https://www.ifaw.org/en/projects/habitat-amboseli-tsavo-kilimandjaro
the latter helps the elephants on Kilimanjaro and space for them and the massai.
https://gorillafund.org
The foundation of the famous Dian Fossey who has spent much of her life studying and protecting gorillas. The foundation is in Rwanda.
You can go to planterrra to save the turtles of Costa Rica. They are in danger.
The same goes for the Pandas in China and the Bengal tigers or the polar bears.
There is still a lot of work! We must not forget that these animals will leave the decor like us and we cannot live without them. Don't forget to make a move!

Me: i just want to live a boring routine life with my little blorbos and plants in my window and petting all the neighborhood cats
The universe: it is 3am and the police are at your door, it has nothing to do with you but you have to deal with it anyway.
Me: okay that’s-
The universe: you have found someone’s passport and covid vaccine card on the ground while walking back to your apartment from the bus. no one is around. good luck.
Me: i’m so tired
Also sadly no neither of those were jokes
Tumblr media
I do not have pictures of the police incident bc it was 3am and I had no idea what was going on and just wanted to go back to bed
I try to live a boring life and a lot of the chaos in my life can usually be blamed on my own lack of impulse control but even when I do literally nothing at all the universe decides that if I am not going to be chaotic and accidentally kick people in the face at raves on my own then it will just make the chaos happen around me
Also here is me scritching a kangaroo for some level of proof about the australia trip lol
Tumblr media
#i have an aoe attack for chaos apparently#like that time i went to australia for a two week volunteer program and did literally nothing#but we still had someone who was a chronic liar that lied about being hospitalized for a flesh eating bacteria#her dad dying#and being stalked#who wasnt even part of the university anymore so technically shouldnt have been able to go with us#and was originally one of the trip leaders before she dropped out of the university so was just a normal member now thank god#refused to do any work and feigned being sick bc she signed up for a volunteer program#then got mad when it involved manual labor instead of just playing with the animals and sightseeing#then up and left the trip entirely and demanded a refund which she got half of since she left a little before one week in#went to stay with a friend she’d never actually met before#but i still had to play nice bc i had loaned her my extra water bottle and it was a really nice 1L and i wanted it back#and she told me she was talking to a lawyer about the situation#surprise surprise nothing happened#i did get my bottle back tho bc i very pointedly did not antagonize her#like i didnt even DO anything on that trip#its not like costa rica where i nearly died - had someone try to traffic me - and got hospitalized#all which were completely unrelated BUT two of them were actually my own fault#like i didnt even DO anything the universe just decides i Must live in exciting times#like that time i gassed my roommate out of the townhouse bc i tried to test out my pepper spray inside and it spread through the ventilation

Thoughts on befriending a primate instead of keeping it as a pet? I mean straight up being friends with a Bonobo or something. Would it be morally wrong. What if you communicate with each other (it's possible look up Kanzi) and both consent to moving in. And if he ever says he wants to go back to the jungle hell yeah. I don't like the idea of a primate in a house though so what if you just visit him in his habitat every so often.
It doesn't really work like that since primates are wild animals and close relationships with humans can jeopardize their survival. Primate communication is very subjective and is not reliable enough to allow you to have a relationship with a primate that is entirely semiotic. Since humans are often predators to various primate species, it is important that they retain their fear of people for their sake. In many cases this is also for our sake, as some species can really wreak havoc on our habitats. In many ways different species of primstes (including humans) are too different and too similar to form mutually beneficial relationships which may lead to domestication or similar.
This being said... There is actually kind of a way to be friends with a primate. We all know that caretakers at zoos and sanctuaries form social bonds with the primates in their care (with appropriate boundaries of course) but theres another process we haven't talked about much which is beneficial acclimation. Acclimation tends to be a bad thing for humans and other primates as it usually involves acclimating a primate to humans indiscriminantly or based on exchanges that aren't great to say the least. Acclimated groups of monkeys will often hang out in urban areas, harrass people, and steal if they have learned that they can do so, usually because people started feeding them. I was once at a wildlife sanctuary in Costa Rica which was open concept in that the majority of the monkeys could come and go as they pleased, where they had to warn visitors that the monkeys may harrass them if they don't lock the bathroom door when they go. In that context acclimation was positive for the monkeys as they got access to sanctuary support at their own will, but it only really worked because the only humans on the island were sanctuary workers. The whole point was to move support to the animals territory to provide them with support where they live, and they were aware of the challenges this can pose for both species. In this case too many of the monkeys were former pets or were once abused, so this sanctuary allowed them to meet other primates of their species with similar issues, and form bonds with them while weaning off human attention. They had many successful cases where monkeys left the sanctuary to join wild troupes.
Acclimation can be beneficial to some groups of wild primates if it is done to get them more comfortable receiving care from veterinarians and being observed by trackers. But what about if you just want to hang out? If you are just a regular person who wants a primate pal but doesn't want a career doing it, I recommend becoming a regular at a zoo. Zoos tend to offer memberships where you pay less to come more often, and you can ask the staff when peak hours are if you want to avoid crowds. If you go often enough, especially at a regular time, it's very possible the primates you visit will regard you as a familiar face. This is probably the best plan, as it supports the zoo, the primates, and gives you the chance to hang out with them!
If you have a bit more time and energy I also recommend looking into volunteering opportunities.

BACKGROUND:
Julia Eliza Simmons was born to two wealthy British world travellers who regularly invested in the interests of environmental efforts and wildlife conservation.
Because Julia grew up away from England, she was home-schooled for a majority of her secondary education before attending university in New Mexico where she completed a Bachelor of Science, Majoring in Conservation Ecology.
Graduating in 1988 at the age of 21, Simmons pursued further education at the University of Sussex in the UK where she graduated in 1990 with a Masters of Science in Global Biodiversity Conservation at the age of 23.
During this time she undertook field courses in Tropical Rainforests and African Zoology, as well as courses of interest in Climate Change and Evolution.
She additionally completed a second Masters in Animal Behaviour Applications for Conservation and graduated the following year in 1991 at the age of 24. Over the course of this degree, she undertook research at a centre in Madagascar where she had stellar reviews for her professionalism and management of tasks she oversaw.
After successfully completing her respective degrees, Simmons joined the International Rangers Federation and volunteered at animal conservations in Madagascar, South Africa and Costa Rica, undertaking both research and apprenticeships focused around various wildlife with preferences for Reptiles, Amphibians as well as African Predators.
It was during these two years as a Ranger that she learnt about hunting, handling armed weapons and tracking through wide-range torrential land. It was during these two years that she met Robert Muldoon, a British Game Warden who worked for the CEO of InGen, John Hammond.
Looking for capable employees for the up and coming theme park on Hammond's private island, Muldoon was impressed with Simmons' work and dedication to animal conservation and protection, but was even more impressed by her attitude and professionalism when handling and approaching dangerous specimens.
Unbeknowst to Simmons, her parents were old friends of Hammond and investors of his park. They had recommended her to Hammond who requested that Muldoon review Simmons' qualifications and evaluate her in the field.
Hammond recruited Simmons with plans of making her a Ranger at his park, second to Muldoon. She was offered free reign to research and create diagnostics for the specimens of Hammond's attractions and to determine all the ecological necessities in order to make the proper upgrades in concerns to the attractions health, safety and security.
With all employees and visitors to the park, Simmons was forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement before stepping onto the Island. With no idea the extent of the Island's true purpose nor the specifications of the Island's attractions, Simmons was shocked with what she discovered within Hammond's Jurassic Park.

Hey Ram! Sorry for asking, but I saw you mention country stereotypes and I was curious... how's Costa Rica? Like, landscapes, art, culture and the like? :P
Holaaa Sebaaa !! ohhh nooo SEBAAA que ha hechoooo JAJAJA asdhgfs this is going to be a long answer but since i know that you like history i want to give you a complete answer jaja aaaand also i like to talk about CR
So here !! let's take a sit and talk about my dear little ✨Costa Rica✨
WARNING !! THIS IS A LONG POST 😅 but hey if you want to know a little bit of CR you can take a look :D
First to clear out the thing about the stereotypes, by the jungle and the beach thing, what i mean is this :
Tumblr media
Most of portrayals of CR are like this and honestly they are not wrong, we do have forests and we do have a lot of beaches (PFFT) but sometimes they are a little too much, for example In Jurassic Park they did this 😅 :
Tumblr media
So yeaaah... as to answer your question, here is some info about CR
COOL NATURE PLACES !!
There are A LOT of these but i chose some that are pretty interesting
Tumblr media
1. Monteverde : In here you can see a lot of birds, animals and plants and you can walk in many of those .. uh bridges ? it is pretty cool and in there you can see Purple Hummingbirds 💜
2. Isla del Coco : this one is basically a natural treasure for CR because of its biodiversity !!! In here there are many hammerhead sharks 💙
3. Rio Celeste : this is apart of a national park named Volcán Tenorio, in this place there is this waterfall that it is literally BLUE .
4. Isla San Lucas : This place is not only an island, it literally was a JAIL but now it is a national park. I've never been there but i really want to !!
5. Volcán Arenal : This is one of my favorite volcanos !! why ? because that lake in the picture is an artificial lake that helps us with hydro electricity !! I've been there and it is pretty amazing :D
ART AND CULTURE PLACES
Ok since i don't want to make this answer longer than it already is here are some places related to culture and arts which btw are some of my favorites <3
Tumblr media
1. National Museum of CR : This is like the main museum of CR in here you can see a general overview of the history of CR. Fun fact !! I actually volunteer as an Illustrator for this museum 😁✨ ( i draw birds and animals )
2. Jade Museum : THIS IS MY FAVORITE MUSEUM 💚 !! Most of the collections of this museum are dedicated to indigenous culture and arts.
3. National Theatre Of CR : This a really old and fancy theater. A funfact about this place is that one of my teachers once told that this place has some hidden masonry symbols in some of the sculptures that are in there .
4. Guayabo National Monument : This is one of the principal archeological places in the country which is important since we don't have many of those :/. I've never been there but i really want to go !!
5. Santa Rosa : In here took place one of the few wars that happened in CR before our army was abolished also i have never been there but i want to go one day.
6. Durán Sanatorium : If you want to go to an spooky abandoned hospital, this is the place !!! In the past this was an hospital for people with tuberculosis but now it is a touristic place in which you can see ghosts. Honestly I've been there and i never got spooked 😂 but this place is one of my favorites and i find it pretty.
ART AND CULTURE (again 😅)
Here are some general things of CR
3. 15 de Setiembre : our independence day and we celebrate it every year
1. Carretas : are one of our national symbols and they have those funky colors and designs
2. Gallo Pinto : one of our most popular foods and it basically consists of rice and beans haha
4. trajes típicos : which are the clothing that people usually wear when they are doing one of our folkloric dances or when it is 15 de setiembre lol
Tumblr media
and when it comes to art !! Costa Rica has many artists !! Like Cesar Valverde, John Timms, Dan mora and others
Tumblr media
If anyone wants to know more things about CR  go ahead and ask me😁💖 !! I like to share things about Costa Rica since .. not many people know about this little country and its people haha
also right now Costa Rica has an animation industry that is growing day by day with studios like Relish, Osopez, Marte and Headless Chicken :D
Oh and last !! As a random thing (?) when it comes to technology there is a man called Franklin Chang !! Who was a costarrican astronaut and created a company named Ad Astra Rocket and in that company they are developing a plasma propulsion technology for rockets :D which is pretty cool !!
AAAnd that's some of the things that i can tell you about CR !!
