The Price of Silence - Diamonds to Dust Ch5

Synopsis: Lusik’s pretty determined to get some information out of her captive, with the help of her trusty knife. Storm’s not giving in that easily, though.

Content: Interrogation whump, torture for information, lots of slicing and slashing with a knife, angy whumper, stoic whumpee (or at least, Storm’s trying to be)

Lusik slams her hands forcefully down on the table, startling her prisoner. They look up at her with weary eyes and a straight face through matted blue hair.

“Answer my question!” she demands.

Storm says nothing, as they’ve been doing for the past hour. It’s incredibly frustrating, but Lusik is determined to keep her cool. Though, when she uses her knife to make another long cut across their arm, she can’t help but dig the blade in deeper than usual. Storm winces sharply, giving Lusik some temporary satisfaction.

She’s going to have to stop soon, though. Their arms and hands are covered in dozens of little cuts from her knife. Blood pools in the lacerations and drips down onto the table that they’re handcuffed to. If she goes too far, then they might lose too much blood.

Lusik stares straight into Storm’s eyes with a frosty expression. “There’s no reason for you to not say anything.” As she asserts this, she slices the back of their hand, crossing over a previous cut she made.

They still don’t say a word, but she notices Storm breaking out into a cold sweat, straining to not cry out in pain.

She’ll break them soon, she swears on it.

Lusik wanders around the table and stops when she’s standing behind them. “It’s such a small question,” she sighs. “Do you live with Xavier Hsu, or do you not?”

Still nothing but dead silence from them. Lusik scowls and drags her short blade through a cut she already made on Storm’s shoulder. She takes her time, using a sawing motion to really make it hurt. Storm flinches and lets out a quiet cry of pain, and her mouth curls into a smirk.

“You know you’re stuck here, right?” Lusik remarks. Storm stares at the wall, away from her, stone-faced.

Without warning, she grabs them by the hair and pulls their head up, exposing their throat, and hovers her knife just over their windpipe. Storm’s eyes go wide with fear and panic, and they tremble and thrash around, fruitlessly trying to escape her grasp.

“Wait—wait, I—” Storm stutters out, voice raspy from disuse and dehydration.

“Yes?” Lusik encourages, interested.

Storm opens their mouth like they’re about to say something. But after a few moments, they clam up, pressing their lips tightly together.

Lusik can’t fucking believe it. She was this close, she knows it! She starts to see red, wanting nothing more than to crush their ribs into pieces, but instead, Lusik works to channel her anger into making her words as vicious as possible.

“Nobody’s coming for you, you know that?” Poison coats her every word. She slits the skin just under their collarbone, and they let out a low whimper.

“The only people who know that you’re here? Are you, me, and the guards outside the door.” It’s not remotely true, but Storm doesn’t know that.

Storm shakes their head. “Xavier… he’ll…”

“Never find you.” Lusik interrupts. “So give up on this obstinate little act of yours. You’re my prisoner, and you’re gonna be for a long time.” She tightens her grip on their hair to make sure they’re paying attention. “I suggest you don’t make it too painful for yourself.”

“So, are you going to answer my question, or are you going to continue being difficult?”

Lusik waits for a response, but the silence is deafening. Storm’s expression is contorted in fear, yet they still refuse to talk.

She grits her teeth. God. Fuck this. She has other places to be and better things to do than waste her time trying to coax secrets out of someone too stubborn to spill them.

In a final flash of rage, she slams their head down into the table with a loud bang. Storm lets out a disoriented yelp and looks up with a dazed look on their face. Blood drips from their nostrils, staining their face.

“We’ll continue this tomorrow,” she hisses before striding out of the room, slamming the door shut behind her.

There he was, running walking down the hallway teasing Kiibo about "if robots have dicks"

"Stop this discrimination! You're being very robophobic!" I hear Kiibo yell. I couldn't help but giggle a little at that. It sounds like he deals with Kokichi's "Robophobic" remarks every morning.

You're used to thinking about him in a certain way, from the persona that he displays

I can't seem to stop thinking about him. His childish nature, his hair, his eyes, his clothes, litterally everything about him. And out of everyone, why him? Why not Kaito? Or Shuichi? But deep down you knew you couldn't fall for them. I mean c'mon, you had friends who liked them already, plus you've already gotten teased by Miu and Angie plenty of times because of who you like. How'd they even find out? Maybe Atua had something to do with it?

And then something changes, and he changes...

"I can't, he'll think I'm crazy and then he'll probably just tease me in front of everyone." I reply, sighing a little as we went to our lockers. My locker was in the middle of Angie's and of course, Kokichi's. He wasn't here yet, though.

Is he worth it? Kokichi~ is he?

"I doubt he's even worth it, he probably likes someone else." I told Angie, receiving a little annoyed glare from her.

"Nyahaha! You mustn't define the will of Atua, (Name)!" she said, smiling and running to her first class, leaving me wondering what the hell she meant by that.

Truth be told, me and him haven't really talked that much. I remember the first time I have, though. I was walking to Miu's invention club thingy and there he was. We all three began to talk about her lastest invention until Miu had to leave, saying that "her time was too precious for us shitheads" leaving me and him alone. I remember him asking me to walk with him to our next class we had together, though not many words were said on my part. I listened to him talking about how Maki and him have a little rivalry going on. It wouldn't be surprising since Maki can be defensive over her friends, especially Kaito.

Waking into class, I see Tsumugi smirking at me, her eyes telling me to look to her left. There was a seat between her and... Kokichi. Of course she'd do something shippy like this. Me and her usually sit next to each other so we can talk about cosplays, but it appears that she also found out my little secret. As I sat down in the seat, i scooted closer to Tsumugi,

"Are you crazy?! How am I supposed to not get distracted when he's right there!" I whisper-yelled to her.

"Lighten up (Name)! Y'know, if this were an anime, You'd probably accidently fall right in front of him but then he'd probably catch you! It would be like love at first sight!" She replied back excitedly. I swear this girl watches too many animes. With a little annoyed huff, I scooted back and closed my eyes from irritation. It's not like I didn't want to sit by him, I just can't help but get a insecure of myself when I'm around him.

Glancing to him, I saw that he was already looking at me. We both quickly widened our eyes a little due to shock and looked the other way. Why are my cheeks getting warm? Something like this shouldn't be doing this much to me. Maybe he is worth it..

I Don't always relate to other people my age, except when I'm on the stage. There are so many changes that I'm going through, and why am I telling this to you?

Finally school is over. I need to go find Angie and talk to her about our homework. Rounding the corner of the hall, I wasn't expecting to bump into something short.

"Ah- I'm sorry about that! Are you ok?" I asked, leaning down to pick up the book I dropped.

"Nishishi! I wasn't expecting someone like you to pack that hard of a push!" I heard a teasing voice say.

You can't be serious- That's Kokichi's voice, right-? I looked up and.. yep, I was correct, there he was, a smile on his face with his hands behind his head.

"But that was a lie! Since y'know, I'm a lier." He said, putting a finger to his lips.

"R-right.." I replied in a daze.

"I-I should get going now, or else I'll keep Angie waiting, bye!" I quicky yelled, running around him and covering my blushing face with my book.

After that day, I've been talking to him more, only because we sit next to each other in class still. Tsumugi says that this was her chance for her "otp" to come true. Since when did she ship us together? Who knows with her. Kokichi even invited me to sit with him at lunch, which despite being a little shy about it, I agreed. Who would turn that offer down? I guess I do really like talking to him.

"Hey kokichi." I said smiling at him, getting into my seat.

"Heyy (Name)" He replied back, also smiling at me. Who knew that sitting next to him would be this nice, his smile was the like highlight of my morning. Maybe sitting by him isn't so bad after all..

"For this homework sheet you'll work with the person to your left." The teacher announced. The person to my left so happens to be.. Kokichi. Not that I'm complaining though.

"Nishishi! Looks like your stuck with me for a while, huh?" He said teasingly.

"I suppose I am" I said teasingly back, smirking. Hanging out with him isn't so bad.

back to play rehearsal, I know that it's weird but it's totally true..

"There's no way I love him, right?" I asked myself while getting ready for bed.

"I trust him, and he seems to like hanging out with me. The guy that I'd kinda be into can't be him, it's just not possible." I say to myself. Deep down, I know these feelings won't go away. I know I love him. I know he's a guy that I'm seriously into, I just can't bring myself to admit it yet. Then again, what's the point of worrying right now? I'll just fix this problem tomorrow.

Do I know what the next parts gonna be about? Nope. Did I still wanna post this even though it's terrible? Yep.

Hmmm.... I was actually feeling old when i heard this drama gonna be release the new series in this 2018.

i was became curios when Barbie Hsu (The previous Shan Cai) posted it all the cast for this time series.

So, its been  16 years after the original series premiered on Taiwanese television   i still remember my dad scold me when i was still in junior high school just because i want to watch this series in late night.

So, lets talk about the cast

Meteor Garden is jointly produced by Beijing MoE Film and Television Co., Ltd., Hunan Mango Entertainment Co., Ltd., Shanghai Tencent Film & Television Communication Co., Ltd., Beijing Anle Film Distribution Co., Ltd. and Beijing Light Film Co., Ltd. and expect can be air at Summer 2018 

In the lead as strong-willed student Shan cai is Chinese newbie actress Shen Yue, 20. Shen yue was became a really famous with her previous work “ A Love So Beautiful”. While the actors taking on the roles as her school's four richest and most popular boys - known collectively as F4 - will be Taipei native Darren Chen (playing Huazelei) as well as Chinese actors Dylan Wang (Daoming Si), Connor Leong (Meizuo), and Caesar Wu (Ximen). The hunks are all 21-years-old and stand tall at an average height of 1.85m

Everything we know so far about the Meteor Garden remake

After some teasing hints from Barbie Hsu, Meteor Garden’s original producer Angie Chai announced plans for the remake in April 2017. In her announcement, Chai promises to make this version a "fuller—and flashier–adaptation of the books". When the original Meteor Garden was released, Yoko Kamio had yet to finish her manga Boys Over Flowers. Chai wishes to complete the story, while also updating it for a new generation.

In July, a casting call was posted on the series social media account. The lead roles were personally selected by Chai, just like the cast of original. The F4 were first revealed in Harper’s Bazaar China, but their respective roles weren’t announced until the Shanghai press conference in November. The series’ heroine and some supporting actors were also there.

i know y’all have been just begging for my tony predictions (no one has) so here they are! i’ve actually seen most everything except Ain’t Too Proud, Tootsie, and a few of the plays but they’re on the list to see soon and I feel fairly confident about some of these. that being said this season is stacked and i still don’t really know what the ATW is going to favor until those noms drop tomorrow (will they love Hadestown as much as the general public does? or are they gonna go all in on [sigh] Tootsie? will they remember Choir Boy and Torch Song exist?)
