Apocalypse oc’s because I can (it’s Angiepocalypse; the lore to my ocs that I will actually post art of)

Angie is the leader of her travel gang, the members are: Simba/Val (my sona/a short magical cat creature), Rabbi (an alive rabbit plush who acts like they recently escaped a mental health clinic), Malcom (the cooler one, also the deputy) Leah (the amateur), Dalton (literally the only normal one), Eleshia (the one everyone thought was dead), Dalton (the traumatized one) and Rio (the weerd girl). That’s a total of 8 members.

It started out when Angie was 12 and her friend, Eleshia was turning 14: they were both born into the apocalypse in separate tribes (30-200 people). Eleshia was abandoned from her tribe when she was maybe 8?? So when spent the last 6 years fending for herself before she met a lost Angie.

Angie was a juvenile, outgoing person who did not know shit about combat because she lived underground with her tribe until she got lost. Eleshia found her and helped her out, leading her to her base and letting her rest. And that’s when the travel gang started.

Angie and Eleshia spent four years together: Eleshia was 18 and Angie was 16. They were raiding a mall together when a monster ambushed them. They fought: Angie dodging attacks with agility while shooting the monster from afar, while Eleshia used her spear to attack the monster from behind. Sadly, the monster was fucking huge so while Angie got onto their motorcycle and drove away with a ripped off foot and deep gashes all along her body and face Eleshia Gaye’s in the mall fighting the monster. Her fate is unknown.

Angie was still driving away from the mall when an honestly badass car swerved right next to her. Inside of it was two people: Prillie (the cool one) and Malcom (the cooler one.) they both noticed that Angie was extremely hurt and seemed like she was going to pass out so they invited her into their car, which they seemed to have settled in, and drove her to their base with her motorcycle in the back.

They provided Angie with food and Medicine, observing her carefully to make sure she didn’t move too much to irritate her mangled foot. Rio sat next to Angie with a cup of water and painkillers while Malcom was outside, protecting the base from any monsters with his bow and arrow. Prillie had wrapped Angie’s mauled foot with bandages and herbs with great experience, it seemed like she was the healer of their duo.

Angie, Malcom, and Prillie stayed together as a duo for a year, Angie 16, and Malcom and Prillie 17. They were simply walking in a forest when another fucking monster stumbled upon them because, y’know, apocalypse. Angie fought with her shotgun and spear while Malcom fought with his bow and arrow and Prillie fought with a large sword-knife of some sort. Eventually, the monster overpowered them and was about to kill the injured trio when a knife shot through its head.

The trio was confused, looking for the person who threw the knife, only to be met withhhhh…AN ALIVE RABBIT PLUSHY!!!

Angie and Prillie’s jaws dropped while Malcom let out a high pitched scream as the rabbit strutted towards them without a care in the world. “I’m joining your team” said the rabbit. Angie and Prillie replied with “Yay!” While Malcom passed out.

Since it can now officially be called a gang because it has four people: the travel gang stayed together for another year, Angie is now 17, Prillie is 18, Malcom is 18, and Rabbi the rabbit plushy is a plush I don’t think they have ages- so yeah these people were an unstoppable group: Rabbi was fierce as hell, Malcom gave no mercy, Prillie has a mini gun, and Angie always screamed “FOR ELESHIA!!” Whenever she murdered a monster which always confused her group but they never bothered to ask.

One day, GUESS WHAT?? Another beast overpowers them and kills Rio because I like torturing these little guys! Angie is so stunned and just stands there while Rabbi beats the beast up continuously with Eleshia’s spear while Malcom is crying over Rio’s dead body because they were friends since birth hehehe.

Angie turns to Malcom and hugs him as the another monster slowly emerges from the shadows. Rabbi is like “uhh, guys!! We gotta go!!”

Angie, Malcom, and Rabbi turn to face the honestly fucking huge monster and they all get ready to beat its ass before something that looks like a cyan glowing rope grabs hold of the monster and beats it to the wall.

The trio looks to see what the rope is coming from just to be faced wiiiith….VAL/SIMBA!!! A magical cat creature thingy!!

Val summons what seems like cyan shards and immediately impales the monster with them, killing it in an instant.

“Im joining your group” says Simba. Rabbi replies with “YAYYYY!!!”. Angie and Malcom cry over Rio’s dead body.

After two years of the travel gang being together, Angie is 18, Malcom is 19, Rabbi is a plush, and Val is…no one knows lmao (not even me and they ARE me)

The gang stumbles upon a dog while raiding an abandoned house, a golden retriever to be specific. Malcom, Angie, and Val are obsessing over it, doing the baby voice and calling it cute, while Rabbi is about to stab it. Val lifts Rabbi from the floor while she continues to obsess over the dog with the humans.

The dog leads the gang to what seems to be an abandoned school and leads them inside of it, Val and Rabbi take the lead with the dog because if anyone could kill a small monster or zombie in an instant, it would be them. The dog leads the gang to a classroom that someone seems to have settled in. It’s decorated with yellow fairy lights and a few plants surround the class, and right smack dab in the corner is a tent. It looks like it has a person in it.

The dog enters the tent, and quickly exits with a pale girl that has long, straight black hair. She wears a dirty white t-shirt, black shorts, and a school backpack as if she didn’t have any actual surviving supplies.

The girl looks like she’s going to burst with joy when she spots the gang. “OHMYGODOHMYGOD HIII!!! ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE IF MET ALIVE PEOPLE!!! I’m Leah!”

They all introduce eachother and Leah explains how for the past few years she’s been living in the abandoned school, hidden form monsters, so she does not have any experience in combat. Obviously, Angie ends up changing that.

Leah and Mufasa (the dog) join the gang and for the past few years, Angie has been training Leah all she knows when it comes to survival in the apocalypse, whether or not it’s battle against monsters, that she may or may not have learned from Eleshia, or basic herbalogy that she may or may not not have learned from Rio.

After two years of traveling, raiding, training, and fighting, the travel gang finally stumble upon another group while raiding a base they thought was empty.

New character tiiiiime!!: Alaini, the leader of the new group, Dalton, her second in command, Kennedy, the healer of the group, and Marshall.

Dalton and Marshall immediately get ready to fight the travel gang, dalton taking out two pistols and Marshall taking out a Rifle. The travel Gang return their weapons into their bags and raise their hands, showing no harm.

Dalton backs off, putting his pistols back into his backpack, meanwhile Marshall is about to pull the trigger on his rifle. Alaini hits his arm and pushes him alway from the gang.

Kennedy rises from her bed and introduces herself, as well as the rest of the base group. The travel gang introduce themselves as well.

After the introductions, Marshall and Kennedy question Simba and Rabbit, Marshall disturbed and Kennedy intrigued. Rabbi explains how they came to life by an unknown substance provided by the apocalypse, and Val simply just shrugs and says “Im just here, man.”

The travel gang applause to the base group and explain how they thought the base was empty, Leah scrambles to find the exit of the base before Malcom takes her arm and leads her to the exit along with Val, Mufasa, Angie, and Rabbi.

Angie and Leah get on Angie’s motorcycle as Rabbi, Val, and Malcom enter the car. They are all about to speed off when Alaini exits the bunker and postpones them, asking them if they’d like to merge with her group as a small tribe. Rabbi is hesitant with the offer, Leah is excited, Malcom is fine with merging, Val and Mufasa are just happy to meet new people, and Angie accepts the offer.

Now, as a traveling tribe, Alaini, Angie, Marshall, Kennedy, Dalton, Val/Simba, Mufasa, Leah, Malcom, and Rabbi have been reviving the apocalypse together for a few months before Marshall, Kennedy, Alaini and MUFASA SOBBB die. They (mostly Dalton and Leah) grieve, but eventually move on for another year.

One night while everyone is sleeping, Leah sneaks out of the car and decides to hunt for fish in a nearby river. There, she meets a young girl in what seems to be a clock mask. The girl notices Leah and approaches her. The young girl introduces herself as Rio, taking off her clock mask to reveal a scarred yet stunning face. Leah invites Rio to the travel gang and Rio accepts, following Leah back to the car. In the morning, Angie wakes up first and screams, pointing at Rio and yelling “WHY IS THERE A RANDOM PERSON IN OUR CAR!?!?”

Leah explains to Angie about Rio and Angie calms down. She says to Leah that Rio has permission to join but next time, she needs to ask Angie if someone could merge with the travel gang.

So maybe a year after traveling with Rio, they are traveling the forest, everyone in the badass car following Angie’s even more badass motorcycle. Suddenly, they all stumble upon a village! The gang immediately exit the car while Angie gets off of her scooter, they all admiring the village in amazement. They quickly entered the place, more surprised and happy than hostile.

All of the gang is excited to meet another living tribe except for Val, Rabbi and Dalton who honestly does not give two shits and just wanna raid the place and leave, especially Dalton, who lost all of his original tribe.

After figuring out no one lives in the village, leaving the gang disappointed (that doesn’t stop them from raiding the place lmao) So after that, they decide to leave. Just as Angie hops onto her scooter and is starting it, she hears a rustling in the car. She gets off of her motorcycle and enters the car while the rest of the group is still searching for anything that could benefit them later on.

Angie slowly opens the car door, and is faced with an old friend. There she was, looking around the gang’s car. Eleshia. Angie whispers Eleshia’s name quietly, but loud enough to get Eleshia’s attention. Angie quickly notices that Eleshia has a prosthetic as a leg, and she assumes she lost her leg form the monster she last saw her battling.

Eleshia turns around, just to see Angie. Eleshia jumps at the leader and quickly captures her in a hug, tears falling down her face. Angie breaks in tears just as Eleshia did and hugs back as tight as she could.

Eleshia quickly apologizes for attempting to raid the groups car and Angie forgives her before immediately inspecting her, seeing at how much she changed. She has multiple scars slashed across her face and arms, and her remaining leg was completely covered by baggy sweats. She wore a jean-jacket, covering a black, plain t-shirt. If it wasn’t the apocalypse, Angie would guessed Eleshia was going out for a collage party, but sadly, the closest thing they can have to that are…well, nothing.

The gang are about to enter the car when they spot Angie and Eleshia hugging. They are all like “who is this bitch?” ESPECIALLY MALCOM because Malcom and Angie are the ultimate besties. Dalton and Malcom are about to question Eleshia but Angie quickly introduces her to the gang. They are all like “WOAHHHH” because Angie has told them stories about her and Eleshia’s adventures when their phones were dead sob.

Eleshia is like “WOAHAHSHAHSHAUHSUSHSUSS YOU MADE A FUCKING TRIBE!?!?” And Angie says “ye” so Eleshia is very impressed and all the gang is amazed with Eleshia.

So she joins the tribe and now it’s just about them surviving in the apocalypse <33333

Now, for some tiny thingies that can be considered headcannons:

Angie refuses to take off her bandana because it used to be Prillies

Dalton and Malcom are kissamies

Leah has this big ass scar that leads from her neck to her stomach and no one knows how she got it.

Leah has always viewed Angie as a big-sister figure from the moment she met her

The first time Malcom and Dalton kissed was when they were in the middle of an argument because Malcom was tired of Daltons bickering

Simba, Rabbi, and Mufasa talk to eachother sometimes because they all know how to speak the same language: and that usually ends in them all talking shit.

Angie and Malcom are distantly related and come from the same tribe

Leah and Val have such a sweet friendship it’s so cute

Leah bet 20 bucks Malcom and Dalton would get together and Angie bet 20 bucks Dalton and Malcom would stay kissamies. Neither of them ever got their money.

Sometimes when Dalton goes to Alaini, Kennedy, and Marshall’s graves, Angie follows him outside and they grieve together. Eventually, Angie told him about Eleshia so now Dalton is the only one who knows about Angie’s old friend.

Everyone in the gang wears something to cover their face: Angie wears a motorcycle helmet and a bandana, Malcom wears these futuristic ass sunglasses and a bandana, Leah wears a gas mask, Rio wears a clock helmet, Rabbi is a fucking rabbit, Mufasa also wears a bandana, Val wears a cloak, and Dalton wears a purge mask.

Even though Rio has the most stunning face ever (according to Leah) she prefers to wear her clock mask.

Rio is the healer of the gang but Dalton could be of service when needed

They still have phones but whenever they call for help, there’s no one to pick up so eventually they gave up trying. (But they still do stuff on their phones; play games, listen to music, etc.)

Angie likes music by Penelope Scott, Malcom likes music like SunFlower, Rabbi thinks music is a waste of time, Val and Rio like ethereal music or music like “a new side of me” by Blake Roman (they share earbuds) Leah likes the “WolfWalkers” playlist, Dalton likes the type of music you’d find in “TMNT mutant mayhem”, and Eleshia likes music like “Cuff-it” by Beyoncé just for the “Bet ya you’ll go far, bet ya you’ll see stars, bet ya you’ll elevate,” etc. parts.

Also, guess who sketched out a design idea for Angie.
