drgotts: I introduced you to one of my latest pics, the awesome George MacKay.

George is a pure delight, warm, welcoming, witty and very generous. I am known for my speedy shoots but when you are in the company of someone like George I find myself dragging my feet a little as I am enjoying myself so much I don't want to to end. I think we were chatting well over an hour and a half before we even started to think about the shoot.

I remember seeing his face on some great television shows a while ago, The Old Curiosity Shop and Birdsong spring to mind. But the very first time I sat up and took notice of his wonderful talent was when he featured in Sunshine on Leith, which was directed by the fabulous Dexter Fletcher. Then climaxed with the part that cast him worldwide in Sam Mendes’ 1917.

Im told by many many directors and producers that the actors they like working with are the ones they like 'to be around’, good soul, kind, patience. This being the case Mr MacKay shall be around on our silver screens for decades to come.

What is the connection between this photo session with Rami Malek and Cait?!!!

Dear Connection Anon,

Thank you for your ask.

I shall first refer you to this recent post of mine:

At that time, we were thinking between our Circle of Trust it was just an interesting coincidence, but I still decided to go ahead with it and see if dots could eventually be connected. Rami Malek, C's co-star in The Amateur, was photographed by Dr. Gotts in London and featured in one of his photo exhibitions, also in London, last November.

Then, I truly hope you can read by yourself this:

Here, I even spell it out for your convenience: 'Even though we are both UK based and have been in the same locality, our shoot actually took place in West Hollywood'.

That locality, where dr. Gotts suggests they have priorly met, mind you, cannot be Glasgow. It logically has to be London, with the introduction being made there (and then? I wouldn't know, I am not the Securitate) very probably by Malek. Via, we strongly believe, C.

So there's that. People have friends and I believe they are also legally permitted to introduce them to other friends of theirs (or acquaintances, if you prefer). It is called networking and it is one of the things that make my job an endlessly interesting and fascinating one, for example. You should try this, too, it's fun and always useful!

If you think that a different way of interpreting all of the above is more adapted to your needs, by all means: suit yourself, Anon. I won't be mad, I won't be sad.. However, this is my interpretation and my way of looking at these factoids. It's called an 'opinion', Anon and until proven horribly wrong (and not with social media timelines, please!), I stand by it.

I should hope we are settled on this matter?
