The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006)

The Wolf Fairytaler: Before I watched this film/movie, I had read the reviews beforehand, and although I think it could have been better executed or at least left a couple of things in. Like Thomas’s childhood, I still think it is a decent prequel. It was just one of those films/movies where I feel like it had a lost potential. Not to mention doing things that already existed in the 2003 remake or the original, for example, Sally's jumping through window scene, and Pam's close up butt view as she walked to the house. That actually happens in both remakes, it was so unnecessary. What really makes this movie different from the other Texas chainsaw massacre films/movies is that it has no survivors, which makes sense, since it is a prequel, but it's still really rare to see that, not a lot of slasher franchises has that kind of ending. Many might disagree with me, but I personally think that it deserves a 7/10. It is decent, but it had a lot of problems that I couldn't ignore.

The Wolf Fairytaler: Poor Thomas, he went through so much, did everything he could, and he still got the bad end of the stick. He was always doomed to lose. His life could have ended up being different on multiple occasions, but oddly enough, everything bad that seems to happen usually occurs around his birthday. I wonder if Thomas likes his birthday or not.
