The Summer Station ID theme song was performed by Filipina OPM singer and songwriter Regine Velasquez featuring Filipino singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, television host, actor and comedian Ogie Alcasid who is Regine Velasquez's husband when they got married in December 30, 2005 which was 1 day before Ogie Alcasid's birthday. Somehow, They had their first child who was born in May 1, 2007. Also starting in June 1, 2007, The theme “Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas” can be heard on DZMM Radyo 630 and various radio stations nationwide.

The Summer Station ID also features British boy band One Direction in their pre-debut and Australian born American actor, producer and comedian Will Smith who portrayed Jack Frost in the 2002 movie Frozen as a special guest. Red, Green, Blue and Black Balloons will also be scattered around the world to literally bring forth the summer fun.

The Summer Station ID was filmed in Hollywood, Singapore, Germany, Italy, France, London, Jamaica, Australia, Kenya, Japan, Quezon City, Boracay and New York in June 2006 whenever the ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5 crew members are having a hot summer day into a big summer party.

The Summer Station ID clips will be re-used in the 2013 Summer Station ID of TV5 which is “Bida Best sa Tag-Araw”, The 2014 Summer Station ID of TV5 which is “Pinoy Summer, Da Best 4 Eva!” and the I Gotta Feeling music video from the future movie Ready Player One which will be releasing in March 21, 2013 from Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios. However, The Summer Station ID reuses the clips of the music videos from those deleted songs Without Me and The Real Slim Shady by Vanilla Ice from the movie Frozen where Will Smith as Jack Frost, Luis Manzano, Xian Lim, Enchong Dee, Matteo Guidicelli and DingDong Dantes as “The Backstreet Boys” were seen including Little Bo Peep from Toy Story and Gelli de Belen as “The Beauty Queen” who also make a cameo at the near end.

But somehow, This is the only Summer Station ID to feature the crew of ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5.

It's time to wrap up my Siargao trip posts. I realise these entries are lengthy and may seem somewhat uninteresting, but I really like to record mostly what happened that day before the tiny details fade away. The brain is a fickle thing, y’know. That's why I like to jot down everything here on my blog, thus the URL — thememoriesarchive. Anyway, I'm looking forward to revisiting this blog in the coming years to read these adventures; I just hope Tumblr sticks around.

Day 7 - May 3, Wednesday

It was time to buy pasalubongs! At 8 am, we grabbed breakfast at one of the carinderias near the local market, then we went to buy dried seafood and local vinegar. Unfortunately, the vinegar was not allowed inside the aircraft, so it was such a waste. We also went back to White Beard Coffee to grab our coffees—this place was always packed! Anyway, we booked a massage appointment at Siargao Island Villas resort. It was soooo so good. Asis mostly enjoyed it; I even heard him snoring! Lol

As soon as we finished, we headed to CEV: Ceviche & Kinilaw Shack, which was what I had really been looking forward to that day. If ever I return to Siargao again, this place would be at the top of my list. And that’s about it – we explored around, making the most of our remaining time and our scooter rental.

That day was also a celebration of our 8th-year anniversary. Although initially planned for the actual date, yesterday (May 2), we decided to celebrate it on the second-to-last day of our stay on the island instead.

Day 8 - May 4, Thursday (The last day)

On our last day, we went back to the Lokal hub to grab breakfast and, again, to White Beard Coffee to get some fuel for the day. We returned to our place to pack our bags, making sure we didn’t leave anything behind. Around quarter to 1 pm, we were already at the airport, waiting for our flight. Maaaaan, I was really hoping to see President Nadine around Siargao, and I was losing hope. But lo and behold, she was on the same flight to Manila, and even Andi Eigenmann’s daughter, Ellie, was in the same flight and the same row as us. It was unexpected. I wanted to have a photo with Nadz, but nope, I didn’t want to bother her and invade her privacy. So, yuuup, we arrived home around 6 pm, totally exhausted from our trip back. It was so not nice to be back in the urban jungle.

To wrap up this Siargao trip, we really did have a great time. To be honest, though, we didn’t want to think about our expenses during our 8-day stay because everything there was overly expensive, and we thought it was not reasonable. If you were to ask us if we would like to return, of course, we would answer yes! Because the island is just beautiful, and we really haven’t explored it all—Taktak Falls, Alegria Beach, Corregidor Island, Bucas Grande. But if we consider the expenses, we would say no, not in the next 5 -10 years. It was enough for us that we had the opportunity to visit the island. So yea, I’m finally done with the Siargao trip posts. It was such an adventure. I can’t wait to visit more of the Philippines. Until next time!

Somehow, Willie Revillame does not appear in the Station ID because he is disqualified from the orchestra by Filipino singer, songwriter, television host and conductor Martin Nievera. Due to this, Willie Revillame decided to quit GMA after Martin Nievera got jealous at Willie Revillame when he conducted the 2005 Kapuso Theme in Talentadong Pinoy in April 30, 2005. Eventually, Willie Revillame was beaten up by Martin Nievera in the late night talk show Martin Late at Nite. The Station ID of GMA in 2005 was composed by Louie Ocampo. The Station ID of GMA was used for the 55th anniversary special. But eventually, The Station ID of GMA can be used from 2005 until 2010.

However, This is the last Station ID of GMA to feature Arcee Muñoz, Alice Dixson, Tuesday Vargas, Ritz Azul, Eula Caballero, Sam Milby, Bea Alonzo, Maja Salvador, Geoff Eigenmann, Gabby Eigenmann, Empoy Marquez, Coco Martin, Ryan Agoncillo, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Oyo Boy Sotto, IC Mendoza, Jerald Napoles, Bayani Agbayani, Raymond Bagatsing, Andi Eigenmann, Judy Ann Santos, AiAi delas Alas, Cherry Pie Picache, Rufa Mae Quinto, Fernando Poe Jr., Mark Gil, Rene Hawkins and Luchi Cruz-Valdes. In the opening and ending, Some books are seen like Unang Hirit, Eat Bulaga, Talentadong Pinoy, Mapagkailanman, Wheel of Fortune, The Price is Right, Imbestigador, and the yellow book with GMA at the front cover and "The End" at the back cover with a blue pawprint. But somehow, This will be used in the opening of the 2010 Station ID of GMA. But the ending was different when sparkles come out when the book closes. Somehow, There is a group orchestra picture at the very end before the book closes.

The Station ID was recorded in May 1, 2005 at the Metropolitan Theater in Ermita, Manila before Arcee Muñoz, Alice Dixson, Tuesday Vargas, Ritz Azul, Eula Caballero, Sam Milby, Bea Alonzo, Maja Salvador, Geoff Eigenmann, Gabby Eigenmann, Empoy Marquez, Coco Martin and Luchi Cruz-Valdes move to TV5. But now, It’s obvious that Ryan Agoncillo, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Oyo Boy Sotto, IC Mendoza, Jerald Napoles, Bayani Agbayani, Raymond Bagatsing, Andi Eigenmann, Judy Ann Santos, AiAi delas Alas, Cherry Pie Picache and Rufa Mae Quinto may have moved to ABS-CBN in 2005.

Due to this, Coco Martin deserved to divorce Judy Ann Santos after their marriage for 20 years. Somehow, Coco Martin moved to TV5 in 2005 after breaking up with Judy Ann Santos.

But eventually, This was Fernando Poe Jr.’s last Station ID from GMA before his death in September 11, 2005. Sadly, This was also going to be Mark Gil’s last Station ID before his death in November 11, 2005. But now, It’s obvious that it was the last Station ID of Rene Hawkins before his death in February 14, 2009.

The Station ID ends with the slogan "Celebrating 55 years in the Service of the Filipino.” But in 2006, It uses the slogan "In the Service of the Filipino, Worldwide" which was used as the slogan in ABS-CBN International when ABS-CBN was in other countries rather than the Philippines which can be used in early 2000 before the 50th anniversary special of ABS-CBN. Starting in 2001, It uses different slogans when ABS-CBN is in different countries.
