Sorry, because of those people who kept spamming the static shock drawing. They should know better, take your time and try not to overwork yourself
No it's fine it wasn't that many people and they couldn't know other people already asked for him. I just wanted to let them know.
But thanks for your concern 💜

Sentinel of the Fieldlands - Lian
[Inspired by @monsoon-of-art‘s Pokerus AU]
Akari was just barely able to stop her attack run and go into a dodge (That, or process what he’d said and realize she had to get out of the way). “That’s who we’re supposed to be rescuing?! Arceus, how long has he been here?”
“A-at least a couple weeks...” Rei gulped, then ducked to the side as the enraged Sliggoo sent another Water Gun his way.
“Well…ugh. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a ‘mon going this nuts this fast before… but I think our best bet isn’t something you’re gonna like.” Akari rose back up into a battle stance as her words sunk in.
“...are you actually…”
A sad sigh and nod. “Yep. We’ve gotta Faint him.” And with that, she rushed in, shells flying as she dodged and weaved around the large mollusc-dragon. Rei sighed, slowly standing as he watched the Dewott dart and bob through the “arena”. Well…if that was the only way they could get him out of here, then he might as well try and help.
Eyes were scrunched as he concentrated on his cheeks, feeling the electrical power pulse and surge in them. C’mon… c’mon… oh this felt weird… but com-
“GAH!” Aaand he must’ve said something out loud because he just got smacked by another Water Gun. To make matters worse, that charge he’d been trying to store was gone. Oh come on, couldn’t anything go right tod-
Wait, Lian had stopped…
Slowly opening his eyes, Rei took in the scene of A Sliggoo Jerking Wildly Outside of its Shell. Far from a masterpiece, especially given the context, but those jumping sparks said what he needed to hear.
“A-Akari! I think I managed to Paralyze it!”
“You- wow, great job! Alright, let’s see…got it!”
Rei wasn’t sure he liked that smile. He wasn’t sure he disliked it either. “Rei, grab into one side of the head-hole. I’ll grab over here. I think it’s time to put this fella in the spin cycle…”
Rei could feel a small “pi?” Leave his mouth at that suggestion - how EMBARASSING, it sounded cute. But worry about that later, for now just get into position… “R-right, what now?”
Akari blinked then sighed. “Now, start running in 3…2…1NOW!” With that rushed cry the Dewott started running, and it only took Rei a second to join her.
It also took him only a second to realize the Paralysis was wearing off rather fast.
Sadly for Lian, it took him more than a second to realize what was about to happen. His addled mind tried in vain to counterbalance, but the lingering Paralysis fooled him into moving the wrong way (“Hey, is it just me or is it easier to move him now?” “Iiiits not just you…”). ‘Round and ‘round he went, and where he stopped only Sinnoh knew…
The two mammals were eventually unable to keep the spin going and let go, the force flinging them out to the side. The Electric groaned, slowly sitting up as he saw Akari off to the side, groaning and still laying down.
Before he could go to check on her, though, Liam’s woozy cries caught his attention. His glance was reeled over to the Warden, who was wobbling… tipping,.. *thunk*
And he was upside-down. Somehow. “…I think we won…”
There was no return comment from Akari as she stood, shuffling towards the steel shell. “Tha…thaz good…” She smiled, taking her bandana - no, wait, the badge on her bandana and slowly touching it to the downed Lian. Before Rei could ask why she was doing this, there was a sudden flash of light and - the Warden was gone? What the… “B-badge ain’t just membership. It…it getsthe client outta the Dungeon…He’ll…be at the entrance…” *THUNK*
“AKARI!!!” Rei darted over to the downed ‘mon, panicked and - holy crap, she was scuffed up HARD! He hadn’t noticed it before in the rush of the dungeon - or his excitement to find Lian - but  the Dewott was marked with several small nicks, gashes, and burns. And some of them had a familiar scent, only made stronger by his new form - Poison.
Well…worry later. For now, pick up the hat (which was conveniently near Akari already) and hold it to his chest, before taking Akari’s paw and touching it to the badge. It glowed brightly, his world becoming light-
And they were…outside? Outside the Fieldlands? And a bit taller than when they entered? Oh, wait. Lian was under them…explains why his paws felt a bit cold.
Well, for now, just slide off (being careful not to bang around the Water-type too much) and look around, sighing. It was going to be a long, long way home. ...Maybe he should wait for Lian to wake up. And hopefully get Akari to eat a Berry or two. Maybe.

You know what's something that's been on my mind for a long time? The treatment of techno and wilbur basically the difference fandom and narrative wise. Because the did a lot of similar things especially in nov 16th. Both were the traitors both destroyed lmanberg had their big speeches (whilbur was mire to himself and later phil while techno was to basically every one else) they both targeted tommy technically (techno spawning withers telling tommy to die and wilbur wanting to make tommy president blowing up in his words tommys lmanberg to send the message that he will never be president) they both took a brother/mentor? Role to tommy and both wanted him tried to convice him to join their side in blowing up lmanberg in both cases tommy refused and both were manipulative despite realising it or not. And yet it's weird that wilbur is the only one who gets hate for this while techno not only doesn't get that much hate from the majority of the fandom but also the blame tommy for everything that happened in both scenarios (nov 16th and green festival). Wilbur is viewed as an irredeemable villian while techno is viewed as a hero for doing the exact same things??? I'm not saying techno is irredimable or something only dream is irredimable for me but it's interesting how much the fandom downplays technos actions while villanising other characters for doing the same thing
Smells like ableism
Now ... I have to defend the audience and Techno-fans a little bit, at least from a narratological point of view.
As you (maybe) know, I’m not one to discuss in-character morality a lot. I don’t think that’s super productive and it can lead to some very heated discussion where the tone can get nasty.
So, I’ll approach this ask more from the point of view of someone trying to look at the narrative from a detached perspective.
There are a number of differences between Techno and Wilbur in terms of narrative purpose, framing, mood of their storylines, etc. that naturally leads to this “discrepancy” when it comes to how they are perceived.
First of all, Wilbur refers to himself as a bad guy, which Technoblade ... kinda doesn’t do? Technoblade jokes a lot about being the bad guy of the server, but I’m still very unclear on how much that’s cc!Techno or c!Techno and how seriously it’s meant.
Secondly, Wilbur undergoes negative character development - he spirals from the respected leader to unhinged villain - whereas Techno remains static throughout Season 1. There is some dynamicism surrounding him, but that has more to do with audience perception rather than with character development - I talk about it here.
Thirdly, retroactive morality. Whether or not you think the Techno/Butcher Army-storyline is constructed well (which, for the record, I don’t) it is for the most part constructed in a way where it casts Techno as a protagonist opposed to the Butcher Army’s antagonist - the storyline is very keen on justifying Techno while villainising the Butcher Army. Now, again, whether you agree with that or not - it is a factor in this.
(Exception is Doomsday, because it’s Doomsday. You can search my blog about how I feel about Doomsday, I’ve written a novel’s worth of analysis on it.)
Fourthly, Technoblade stands for something concrete - namely Anarchy - while Wilbur’s destruction is more personally nihilistic in nature. Now, like with point 3, whether or not you agree with how well Techno portrays anarchy or whether he’s a hypocrite or not is not of much concern here. He’s the only open anarchist for the majority of the two seasons and thus people who agree with that philosophy will be more inclined to agree and sympathize with him.
And even people who don’t agree with anarchy as a political philsophy will have an easier time legitimizing an actual political philosophy as opposed to the very internal struggle Wilbur faced.
Lastly - and I think this is a big one! - one of the characters most directly affected is Tommy. And Tommy, by virtue of having a large audience, being generally involved in a lot of plot-changing events of both seasons, and beginning to have this Hero/Main Character-meta built up around him, is an important focal point for a majority of viewers. Even if you don’t follow Tommy directly, you will absorb this focalisation through fandom-discourse (and probably clips, if we’re being honest).
And Tommy has first-row seats for Wilbur’s spiral and is the character most deeply involved in exploring it in all of its ... unfortunate glory. Now, for most of Season 1, Tommy and Techno had a pretty warm relationship - again, I elaborate on thaz in the linked post above - and after the reversal of their dynamic there isn’t much narrative exploration of their new antagonism - not in the way that Tommy’s connection to Wilbur’s villain arc was explored. The narrative pretty quickly jumps to Nov. 16th.
So yeah. If it was just one of these factors, I don’t think the fandom discourse would be the way it is now. But all of them combined? That naturally leads to the perceptions being the way they are.

verse: all you have to do is turn your back on him; and you wish it was harder; and you wish it was easier; but it’s not. ( versus verse for gladio )
i have finally figured out what versus is about. and here are my hcs for lucis in the ff13-versus verse, because they’re important to gladio and why he betrays noctis. for my records, these are my hcs as i want to change this verse, lol.
-the mafia system is only about a hundred years old, but it’s still a pretty honorable mafia system by most systems. it used to be more of a samurai/fuedal lord type dealio for more than a thousand years, but things changed after nifhelm, a more european coded country, got a hold of them a few centuries ago when they heavily colonized them.
-sure what’s left of the original goverment run by the chosen kings (which is a big part of their governent still, but they’re more of a ‘territory’ now like puerto rico or hong kong used to be part of britain) runs on crime and shady dealings since illegal mind altering drugs were found to be the only ‘cure’ for the scourge that started to plague their country after it was spread there by the nifs---but there’s not human trafficking or murders on the books that you can find. the amicitias keep their head above even the drugs that seem to run their kingdom. all they’ve done since gilgamesh himself is protect the chosen line of kings---and they’ve kept it that way, and thought they always would.
-in this verse, the amicitias are much disrespected. seen as little more than bodyguards. the nobility system is a joke--it’s literally organized crime, and the cleaner u keep ur nose, the less money u have and the more ur seen as a LAUGHING STOCK even amongst clowns. they used to love their king and their way of life more than anything, but the more industrialized and cyberpunk lucis becomes---the more modernized, the more the amicitias began to sink into the more traditional fantasy world of nifhelm and its politics.
-in this verse, lucis is basically a world more similar to the yakuza series, BUT cyberpunk. more traditional aesthetics in the palace/nobles place than anything else as the last line of their old honorable selves (bc that stuff is now worth a lot of money and also they like to pretend they still have a certain code comparable to the samurai), but u can also see a lot of european shit and aesthetics too because of the colonization. noctis does not even know how to write japanese, despite being japanese, because he refused to learn the alphabet bc bc he doesn’t care about anything lol
-speaking more on noctis, regis USED TO BE a pretty good king, and he honestly thought for a long time that the illegal drug trade is what’s best for his country. it keeps them alive, right? it’s only really illegal with the nifs.
-when noctis was very small, the accident he got into with his mom made etro save him. he contracted her scourge because he was then the champion of her infection. it spread from him to his father, and his father got hooked on the mind-altering drugs himself, making him a pretty shitty father when he’s not ‘lucid’ and a worse king that was easier to pull around by the rest of the yakuza/mafia nobles. clarus thought he could help him---but he dies, and that’s what spurs the game into action. noctis’s powers manifest from the trauma, he gets a vendetta against the world. he’s supposed to get the blessing of the oracle (stella or ravus depending on the verse) and they go off on a road trip.
-noctis makes shit hit the fan. he’s the villain in this, he’s the ardyn. he’s always been a bad kid, a spoiled yakuza brat that loves violence because of the corruption of his soul and his own anger.
-noctis almost takes the throne---but then the amicitias betray him to the nifs. they trust the nifs. but the nifs aren’t actually the good guys. they’re colonizing bastards and they spread the plague in the first place. but it’s the only things the amicitias can think to do to save their country.
-in this verse i’ll primarily use it to ship with @antigoniks and thaz it lmfao
-gladio is straight edge except for drinking. he’s believed his whole life he would have to die for noctis, and he accepted that bc noctis was like a brother to him, and that was just his goal and his duty. but he was raised lawful good, and noctis is chaotic evil and it just was never going to work out lol
-gladio’s mother is from a completely different continent, she’s not involved with any of this at all, but she moved here bc of colonization of her country by the nifs, who are taking over the world. gladio doesn’t completely trust the nifs either because of this, but he is tired of the whole system of his country being garbage basically and people always assuming he’s just gonna be a criminal lapdog or a goon because of his race/Big Guy body type/etc.
so that’s that on this verse.
