Wow, I definitely needed this today. Thank you so much for your unwavering support and your patience- I still can’t find the words to tell you how much that means to me! :)

First things First: I am sorry for the Late reply! The story is not abandoned. But I am currently facing so many challenges since I got an amazing opportunity only few days after I uploaded the last chapter: I am working on my PhD!!! (While being a busy mom with a ton of other obligations haha)

The workload is insane and my freetime almost completely vanished, that’s why I can’t follow an upload-schedule since I never know when I actually get to sit down and write:(

The next chapter will be here in a few weeks. I am sorry, I wish I could be faster but that’s pretty much impossible right now.

Plus, I somehow felt like the story doesn‘t matter anymore - due to a lack of comments on the previous chapters. But well, knowing that you are still here might give me a motivational boost 🤭

Fortnight of Books 2024: Day 10

Book with a scene that left you reeling:

Definitely Chase the Legend by Hannah Kaye. There were some very explosive scenes that hit me like a truck. One of them was when she nearly killed one of my favorite characters in the most heartbreaking way. She’s a favorite author of mine who has done that before, actually. I’m always glad when she lets them live, but she manages to do a convincing and thematically powerful almost-death each time.’

The book I read but have already forgotten:

When Ravens Fall by Savannah Jezowski. It was one of the retellings we read for fairytale book club this year, but it was so mediocre (in my experience) that I entirely forgot its existence till I saw it on my list at the end of the year.
